Five Star Auto Sales

I recently purchased a Mercedes GLK 350 from Mark at Five Star Auto and had a great experience not only him but with his staff as well. I purchased a quality car at a fair price. I would recommend this dealership to others.

My experience at 5 Star Auto Sales was excellent beyond words. I bought 2 cars from here in 3 months. Both of them were in excellent condition and very well cleaned in/out. I have to say I am completely satisfied about my entire experience.
The sales representative was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. Everyone was very polite, honest and friendly.
I have referred 5 friends to here and 3 of them already bought their cars easily and happily. I will surely recommend you if you are looking for an excellent condition used vehicle as I'm sure they will be treated as good as I was.

Review: On 8/23/14 I purchased a vehicle. I have 2 issues with the vehicle. At the time of purchase I stated that the front tires need to be replaced. The owner agreed that he would either replace the tires while I waited or knock the price down to cover the tires if I wanted to get the tires myself. I waited. His employee took the car for a period of time to "replace tires. When I arrived home I noticed that tires were not been changed. The next business day, 8/25/14, I called regarding the tires. The owner stated the use "salvaged tires that have to pass inspection" but asked for pictures, which I sent via text and his text response was "They are definitely not new. I should have looked at them. Please kindly send me the size when u have a chance. Thanks", which I sent. On 8/28/14 I sent another text stating I had not heard anything on 8/30/14 his response was that he had completely forgot and he'd take care of it Tuesday. When I tried to touch base to schedule time his response "Do what." IN THE EFFORT to SAVE WORDS, much of our communication over the next weeks were much the same. Weeks later after I told him I would drive to pick up tags, that he had for some time and didn't mail, and have him change the tires he called to say he would just mail me a check and said that the tire place would not refund the money and I should keep the old tires because they couldn't be as bad as I said. I reminded him that he saw the pictures and agreed that they hadn't been changed. I suggested that he continue to talk to the tire place & he stated that the problem could have been his guy because he had to fire him because he had been doing drugs. He was supposed to overnight my tags and check on Wed. The following Tues I received the tags with no check for tires. My 2nd issue is the vehicle I bought was a rebuilt vehicle, which was not disclosed to me at time of purchase. I did not sign a waiver. Had I known that the vehicle was rebuilt I would not have purchased it. I have documentation to support my claimsDesired Settlement: Due to the fact that the vehicle is rebuilt and the information was not disclosed to me, I would be happy if the owner would agree to refund the purchase price $6002.14, via cash or money order, and pick up the vehicle.

[redacted] said that he called the consumer and left a message with the consumer's mom and has not heard back from her. [redacted] stated that if the consumer would like to keep the car, he will send the $150 check for the tires or trade the car for value for the consumer.

I appreciate the offer to pay for the tires or to exchange the car for one of equal value. However, it has been difficult to receive payment for the tires in the past and I am uninterested in another car of equal value. I am willing to settle this matter by the dealership purchasing the vehicle back, at my full purchase price plus the price of the tires I had to purchase, which I will be happy to supply a receipt for. This will allow the dealership to assume the car and resale it should they see fit.

I would like a copy of the [redacted] report, which was not provided with my paperwork, especially since the dealership owner stated to the Revdex.com that the [redacted] shows the car was "fine". This information will only substantiate my claim, along with the owner's admission to the Revdex.com that there was paperwork saying the car was "fine". I contend that I would have never knowingly bought a rebuilt vehicle for many reasons but most importantly due to my teenage son's safety and the fact that no one would ever purchase or I would never be able to trade a car with a rebuilt title.
