My company, Floor To Ceiling Designsdid contract with the [redacted]'s on February 3rd 2017 to complete a remodel in a house they had just purchased. We started the project the last week of February. During the process of the remodel we had a few delays, some on our part, some on the...

customers part and some on the city's part. On June 2nd we had a meeting at my showroom with the [redacted]s to discuss the final few items outstanding in the project, there balance at the time and the extras that have accumulated through the project.   It was at this time that the [redacted]'s requested for us not to come out to there house to finish the project, they felt they could finish the project on there own and also had a list of items that they weren't completely happy with.    We tried to come to an agreement for us to resolve the unsatisfactory items which  were just some punch-list items that needed to be addressed ( paint touch ups, trim work and a few flooring repairs)  They again requested to complete the balance of work and repairs themselves.  At that time we negotiated a discount off of the existing balance for there efforts and expenses they would incur to complete our scope of work.    There was an agreed upon discount of $5279.00 and a signature acknowledgement of this for them to complete the work needed.  As I told the [redacted]s previously I felt I am responsible for the small roof leak under our warranty because we did work in that area.  As far as the window screens and insulation they are responsible for that being it was on the list of incomplete items at meeting on June 2nd when they chose to take over the balance of the work. Also the discount of $5279.00 they received for the unfinished items and repairs far exceeds the expenses they incurred to take care of these tasks.   Please let me know if there is anything else needed from me on this matter. [redacted]F2C DesignsM6 Construction[redacted]
