Excellent Choice of a Folding Bed!
We were very impressed with our new folding bed. Extremely comfortable, very easy to assemble and secure when in a locked fold position. We were also very impressed with the memory foam high density mattress. A bed that could hold a heavy adult with comfort. We we not disappointed in our choice!

If you're thinking of renting from these guys, they're scam artists. Maybe they are OK for a regular purchase, but I wouldn't bet on it. Looking at some of the other reviews on this site, I would say this opinion is justified.

Foldingbed.net was quick to set-up a rental of 2 folding beds and bedding which I set-up for 8 days straddling this recently passed New Years Day. The beds (new, unassembled) and bedding came separately straight to the door earlier than expected by about a week. The beds were OK quality and not difficult to assemble. The bedding was bottom of line quality straight from Walmart in a Walmart box. My initial assumption is that the company had a direct contract delivery, pick-up of set-up of beds rotated from their warehouse, but OK, they never said that and I wasn't too put off by doing the assembly. I didn't know what to expect of the bedding, but made sense that it's new and would not be recycled. My wife, however, could not bear to have our guests use the poor quality bedding and made a last minute substitution.

The day before the rental 8 days were over, I emailed about procedure for getting everything picked up and removed. Over the course of several emails and calls, they played a game of cat and mouse pretending there was a process to get the order out of my house when there never was. First, they said I had to disassemble the beds, pack everything up and drop off at a UPS depot. I did pack-up nicely and got everything ready. When I reminded them they originally indicated they would take care of shipping both ways, they said they would email me UPS labels, order the UPS pick-up, and UPS would make 3 attempts to pick-up. None of this ever happened. With the boxes cluttering up my front hallway for days on end, I made repeated inquiries. I started getting offers that for a nominal extra fee, why don't I just keep everything. I got back on the phone with one of the guys and explained the whole purpose of a rental was because I don't have the storage space. I was then promised again the pick-up would be ordered. After almost another week went by, I called again and was told the only option to keeping the beds (now at no extra charge) was to dispose of them myself. I told the scam artist in that case I wanted a $150 rebate (about half the cost charged) that would cover the cost of a junk pick-up (will be around $100 here in California) and some of my pain and suffering. He quickly told me they don't make any such rebates and there was no higher up I could talk to. Jonah and Eric, only first names, are the people I communicated with. I suspect they are the whole company.

In hindsight, I should have done more research, but I was in a hurry and what I recall of comparing a few websites, their price was one of the better ones and quality of the products on-line looked reasonable. After the fact, I'm fairly confident I could have bought similar products locally and had them delivered for a similar or even lower price, particularly give the sub-standard quality of the sheets and thin shedding blankets. But again, the point was I didn't have storage space and I'm still working on a way to get this *$(%&# out the way.

If you're renting, DO NOT GIVE foldingbed.net your business. Given my exasperating experience and other reviews, I highly recommend not do ANY business with these crooks.

This complaint will never be resolved until this company starts to be honest with what happened Once again, they are lying Yes, the bed has been delivered after many delays and unfulfilled promises No, they did not inform me through this process The customer service I received could not have been any worse Any communication I received was initiated by me and EVERY time I tried to get a status it took multiple unanswered phone calls or unreturned emails in order to rudely get information We can continue to go around this merry go round, but until they are honest, I'm not getting off this merry go round I would hate for any other person to have to go through the hassle that I have had to go through due to their advertising and empty promises!
