With regards to our certification process we are in full compliance and that is dictated by Ford Motor co We just had a our latest compliance check and passed with flying colors If Mr [redacted] has a problem with our certification process than he should contact Ford Motor Co Regarding MR [redacted] vehicle, as far as we know his vehicle is running perectly fine and all the issues he had with his truck have been addressed

We are a drop off location and do not have anything to do with the lease inspection or anything to do with the money they owe [redacted] They have an odometer statement and picture of the miles taken the day they picked up the car Folsom Lake Ford has nothing to do with the money that is owed They also owed them about 400+ dollars for late payments during the lease of which I talked [redacted] into waiving which I didn't have to do but did it to help them out but here I am still having to deal with a situation I didn't create Again the first time we didn't take the car was the lease was not over yet so we couldn't take it The second time Mrs [redacted] said she wanted to be there for the inspection so Bob told her if that is the case you should call the inspection number for [redacted] and set that up at your house Bottom line is, even if they dropped the car off the second time they would have still owed the money to [redacted] for going over the miles so I do not know why we are still talking about this situation This is NOT a Folsom Lake Ford problem, this is a situation between the Thompson's and [redacted]

I have spoken to customer and this issue has been resolved

On the last day of the lease, our son tried to returned the carThe lease manager did not take the carMy husband and I were surprised and took the car in ourselves late an afternoon soon after We were told that one more payment was owed and to take the car home and call for an inspectionThat night the car was towed before we could follow up and confirm the last payment and schedule the inspection the next day. They are spinning the facts and trying to make it seem like we're making up a storyThe message above is incorrect: "Two months later when they realized there was a bill they claimed the part of cheerleader porn Not right after it happened." We didn't get a bill until after the inspection which was done after we tried to return it twice And, we left many, many phone messages and didn't get calls back for a long time We explained the porn info to the manager to show how unprofessional his employee was and that that same employee did not take the car two times when we tried to return it.If this is true: "The [redacted] were contacted over times to return the car prior to it being towed away by ford credit," then, why didn't they take it the two times we tried to return it?

The customer requested we paint the hood to remove scratches as well as the spoiler that was already added and she will be satisfied So we are doing that

I am rejecting this response because:Correction: The first time we tried to return the car was the last day of the leaseBecause of the unprofessional behavior of *** ***, we are not confident that something wasn't done with the car before the inspection which is why we are addressing you*** is telling you different things than he told us. I was trying to turn the car inHe told us that we couldn't leave the car at your dealership when we arrived for the appointment to turn it in. He should have told us that before we brought the car downWe wanted to leave the car thereObviously, it shows that we were trying to turn in the car, or we would not have brought the car in...two timesFolsom Lake Ford is the root of the problemWe wouldn't be having this conversation if *** *** let us leave the car with Folsom Lake Ford

Here is a copy of the signed estimate from [redacted] prior to us checking out the issues other than the recall.  The estimate was for 292.00 but the bill was only 245.00 when it was picked up and signed by maybe [redacted] wife.  There is an attachment of both

With regards to our certification process we are in full compliance and that is dictated by Ford Motor co.  We just had a our latest compliance check and passed with flying colors.  If Mr. [redacted] has a problem with our certification process than he should contact Ford Motor Co.  Regarding MR. [redacted] vehicle, as far as we know his vehicle is running perectly fine and all the issues he had with his truck have been addressed.

I am rejecting this response because:
I was told that Ford Motor Company will pay for the inspection regarding the recall letter, they told me about the oil leak in the truck and I told them I already know about it and I told them the reason why I did bring my truck to the them it was because of the Ford recall letter not for any other diagnostic, so I'm demanding the return of the $245.00 I was demanded to pay or my vehicle will not be return it.

This situation has been resolved.  All the issues with the vehicle that Mr. [redacted] had were addressed and completed.

I am rejecting this response because:Folsom Lake Ford sold me a vehicle that clearly deceived me in leading me to believe the Ford F-150 had a 172 point Certified...

Inspection and I paid Certified price based on a false business practice. I would have not paid the current purchase price had I not been mislead to believe the F-150 was Certified and was thoroughly inspected. How can a thoroughly inspected vehicle pass a this 172point inspection when a wire was cut, shifted extremely hard and had a bulb missing or blown out! When the words of the salesman and the Folsom Lake Ford dealership are that the guarantee and assure you that every single item was checked through this Ford Certified program as a selling point one would believe you can trust that the inspection was performed and you pay extra for that assurance. The idea that because they fixed the matter after the point of sale does not release them of liability of performing the inspection. The fact is that fixing and existing issue after assuring a consumer that an 172 point inspection was performed and then act as if though everything is ok because we fixed the problem. Yes Folsom Lake Ford did fix the issue because of an extended warranty I paid 3.500 for however the fact remains that I paid for a service that was not performed prior to purchase! Here is the problem Certified Pre-Owned Ford Vehicles in Folsom, CACertified pre-owned Ford vehicles offer the assurance of a brand new Ford vehicle at the price of a used car. This was a clear case of a 2013 with 1,800 miles on it so why check it just check all boxes and we can hide behind the extended warranty, no one will know. This bill that the [redacted]'s have is a bill from [redacted] for their expiring lease. There is some late charges from the duration of the lease and some over mileage charges for driving over the allowed miles.  Two months later when they realized there was a bill they claimed the part of...

cheerleader porn.  Not right after it happened.  I am very confident that this was not an actaul conversation and was a claim from their son,   [redacted] is. 25 year employee and I have never had any sort of complaint from him over those years   folsom lake ford is not the one billing them and is also not responsible for the lease turn in process and is only a drop off spot  The car was towed from their driveway because it was 45 days past due.  The [redacted]s were contacted over 10 times to return the car prior to it being towed away by [redacted]  Folsom Lake Ford has no responsibly for this bill and their issues should be directed to [redacted].  Thanks.

I have spoken to customer and this issue has been resolved.

I am rejecting this response because:It does not address the fact of the issue and is an excuse rather than an answer, its a typical we have all the power an all the money to hide behind whatever we want to hide behind. The fact is that several items were missed and were not disclosed at time of sale, Folsom Lake Ford passed all the required items that is required of them because they knew what to expect and what to do during the inspection however that does not mean that they performed all the same tasks on my vehicle. I have no problem with that and now I know what I will need to do.Bottom line is Folsom Lake Ford did not perform the 172 point inspection on this vehicle or how did they miss the obvious defects that were later found only a day later its either Folsom Lake Ford performed the inspection an did it poorly or they performed the all the test on paper only. There is no way Folsomn Lake Ford could have missed so many items unless they are not Ford Certfied. That's their answer is whagt I expected I mean how did Folsom Lake Ford fix these items if they say they performed this 172 point inspection so why would there be items to fix? I will write Ford Motor Co and my Congresman as well as the Mayor and I wil also keep a close eye on the outcoem of the Federal Court ruling on certified vehicles and we wil have court rulings and case law to fight back.In the meantime expect to see more of my vehicle and other signs soon!Thank You[redacted]

Review: I contacted this dealership last night and spoke with [redacted] the internet sales manager we inquired about the price of the vehicle and was quoted $26,200 their cost + 300.00 even after more details about the car, we were quoted the solid $26,200 again so we agreed and arranged for delivery location and when we will meet and he in turn told us his contract dept would contact is today to finalize all paperwork and we informed him we already have financing lined up thru our bank. He had no problem with this and told us he would have the contract people call us today. When we received this call we were told [redacted] had no authority to quote us that price and that the price would be 1,100 more that the original 26200.00 we informed [redacted] the sales manager that this is bate and switch!!! These people apparently break this part of the business and professions code frequently...Desired Settlement: We want them to honor their word!!! And complete the transaction as originally agreed!

Response:

I spoke with [redacted] and explained to him the car had not gone through the smog, safety and certified process yet and that the saleperson should not have quoted out the car yet as he didn't have all the proper information yet. Once they realized it the next day the sale manager informed him that the saleperson gave him incorrect info. I apologized to him and he said he was able to find another vehicle that he will be getting today. Thanks

I am rejecting this response because:

Review: On 10/10/14 I co-signed for my niece to purchase a New 2014 Ford Mustang from Folsom Lake Ford. When my niece test drove the car and at the time of purchase we told the sales person that the car had a scratch on the hood of the car as well as the bumper. Everyone involved in the sale assured us that this was a new car, and that they would get the scratches out. A Due Bill was done for the scratches to be removed, an Ultra Coat to be done and the windows to be tinted. The arrangements were made to have the car brought in an upon my niece picking up the car on 10/23/14, my niece was told that they could not get the scratches out of the hood or bumper, and that the two items would have to be completed repainted to resolve the issue. She came home and spoke to me about it, and the next day I called Folsom Lake Ford and spoke to a person named [redacted]. I was told by [redacted] that I needed to talk to a person named [redacted], but he would not be in until Tuesday, 10/28/14. On 10/28/14 I spoke to [redacted]. When speaking to [redacted] I asked how much it would cost to paint the hood and bumper and restripe the hood as it currently has a strip down the middle of the car. I was then told that I needed to talk to [redacted]. I spoke to [redacted] on 10/31/14, and explained to him that I was not comfortable having to paint a brand new car to remove scratches and I ask if he would be willing to put a spoiler on the car if we did not have to paint it. He talked to his supervisor and they agreed to do this. They would order the spoiler, paint and install it. [redacted] asks if I could come out on 11/1/14 and pick out the spoiler which my niece and I did. Another due Bill was prepared. We were told by the parts department that it would take 1 week to get the part, and then we would be contacted to have the work done. I received a call on 11/11/14 from a person named [redacted] to inquire if all work had been done on the Due Bills and I replied no. I told her the spoiler had not been installed. I told her I had spoke to [redacted] and made these arrangements and she said she would speak to him and call me back. This did not occur. So on 11/17/14 I called [redacted] back to inquire on the status of the spoiler being installed. Again I was told that she needed to speak [redacted] and she would call me the following day. This did not occur again. So on 11/20/14, I contacted [redacted] directly. [redacted] thanked me for my patience in this matter and told me he would call me back on 11/21/14. As of today, I still have heard nothing. So because no one at Folsom Lake Ford would every tell me the cost of getting the hood and bumper of the car painted and restriped, along with recoated the hood and bumper and it has almost taken 1 month to get a part installed, I am now requesting your assistance. I still want the spoiler installed, but I also want to be refunded for whatever the cost difference would have been to the repainting, stripping and Ultra Coat treatment done. I was trying to be fair, but I feel that Folsom Lake Ford has misrepresented what they agreed to do. If you are not the department I should be dealing with on this issue, please let me know who to contact. I have made to many contacts on this issue with no end result or answers. Thanking you in advance for your assistance in this matter.Desired Settlement: I want the payment requested in the above refunded to me by December 7, 2014 in a form of a check.

Review: Actually this involves all of the Complaint Types just about!I recently purchased a (Ford Certified Pre-owned) 2013 Ford F150 with 1,801 miles on the odometer from Folsom Lake Ford located at [redacted] on February 6,2015.I was assured the vehicle had passed a 172 point inspection and that there wass nothing to worry about, gauranteed the truck had been completely gone through and there was nothing worng at all with the vehicle. I was assured the vehicle was safe and Ford Certified! The very next day I noticed my interior lights were not working at all and I then headed over to Folsom Lake Ford where three members of Folsom Lkae Ford could not figure out why the interior ligts were not working. I was told to call [redacted] the used car service manager and she will look at it. I was giving the date February 12, I believe as the appointment date to have the interior light problem looked at and fixed. I left vehicle with [redacted] around 7:35AM, I was contacted by [redacted] around 11:30am February 12, and was told that the technicians could not figure out the problem and I would need to make an appointment with the more experineced service technicians. I then made an appointment for February 18 I beleive but did not keep the appointment as some other issues arised with the way everything was being handled. I alos noticed the vehicel shifted very hard on the test drive I was lea dto believe that it wa the power as I was used to the [redacted] drive so I agreed that it was probably the reason! However I kept feeling the hard shifting and the shifting on a couple of occasions felt as if it pulled me forward. I began to pay close attention to the shifting and on February 26, I went to Folosm Lake Ford to see [redacted] in person as he was the contact person I believed. I had left Jesse a message taht I was returning the vehicle as it had locked up on the freeway at 55mph and it seems to shift very hard when I accelerate and is unsafe to drive. I met with [redacted] who instruicted me to leave the vehicle there and someone would look at it and get back with me.I received a call that they had found the problem with the interior lights and everything was good that was on Frdiay the 27th and on Saturday I recieved a call that they were looking at the truck cause a technician felt the hard shifting or was rattling near the brakes, I had believed the noise was from the running boardds as it only had one screw and was extremely loose. On March 2nd I received gto pick up the vehicle, turns out the interior lights wire was cut and taped up and rear dome light was missing bulb. The left front 4wd hub stuck on inspectoin found Vaccum act holds vaccum but doesn't unlock axle found hub broken replace vaccum hub assy. How does a vehicel pass a Ford certified Inspection and have no interior lights, shifts hard and is missing a rear bulb, every item was checked off as pass being a wire was cut I found it rather strange taht [redacted] nor [redacted] could explain why these items were not found during the inspection. The only common thought between both of them was maybe becasue it had such low miles the techs pencil whipped it or didn't do a thorough job! That does not excuse the fact that Folsom Lake Ford placed my life in an unsafe vehicle and decieved me on the assurance that the Ford F150 is Ford Certified and is like new!!How can dealerships get away with pencil whipping cars into being sold as Ford Certified? I don't understand why [redacted], [redacted] and everyone esle that was involved seemed like it was no big deal and who cares we fixed it!! Well it was fixed because yuo sold a broken vehicle that did not truley get the 172 point inspection that I was assured took place and that sold me on buying the vehicle at the price of a True Certfied Vehicle. In my opinion there needs to be an oversight organization because one ay these short cuts are going tlo cause serious injury to someone who believes they are buying a safer vehicle at a greater price. To purposely leas a consumer to believe that a Ford Certified inspection was perofmed yet was not as no one at Folsom Lake For has assured thaty the actual inspection took place after the fact but assured me the Certification had been performed prio to the sale of vehicel is misleading and fraudulant.Who can assure that all vehicles are inspected when there is no oversight please step in and do the right thing.I believe the resolution should be a reduced price and a fine as well as a probational period that would include independent inspections of Folsom Lake Ford certified vehicle program, if the state can regulate the SMOG program why can't it regulate the Dealerhsips Certified Programs. The story is much longer I tried to express my point in a short mannerThank You[redacted]Desired Settlement: To protect the consumer from false and misleading practices of this phantom 172 point Folsom Lake Ford Certification program, that has no oversight that truly can assure the consumer that the advertised assurance of every vehicle being thoroughly inspected is true. It's not fair to the consumer that a dealership has total control of it's own certification program! It isn't a fair practice when a dealership can arbitrarily certify any vehicle at will. Folsom Lake Ford violated consumer trust

Review: I brought my Motorhome into Folsom Lake Ford because of a recall notice. While there, they damaged it and said it couldnt be driven home.

I received a recall notice on August 26, 2013. Brought my 2011 Forest River Motorhome into them for repairs on 9-6-2013. They had it there 7 days and when I went back in to pick it up they said there was an enormus hydralic fluid leak from the jacks and slide unit and it could not be driven without all the fluid leaking out and causing the pump to burn up. There was positively no major leak when I brought it into them to be serviced. They showed me the leaking unit and connected fluid tank and it was still 2 thirds full which proves the damage had been caused at their shop. When I brought this to the attention of a Mr. [redacted] he told me to talk to whoever I wanted but they were not responsible.Desired Settlement: I want Folsom Lake Ford to repair or replace the Hydralic pump that they broke and caused the massive fluid leakage.
