Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concernI am satisfied with the ending result, and hope to never go through this process again when purchasing a vehicle

My name is *** ***I am the Service Manager at Folsom lake HondaThis customer purchased the vehicle from usIt is a new vehicle with the standard year mile warranty provided by Honda Motor Corp. We have attempted to repair the noise twice and have contacted the Honda
Technical Hotline to help us. They gave us a couple things to try, which worked for a short time. Then the noise returned. I put the Customer in touch with Honda Consumer Affairs and they arranged for a translator to help with the Mandarin-Chinese language. Today I received a new repair procedure from Honda to perform on this Odyssey. Honda will contact consumer today and instruct him to return to us to attept to repair vehicle. This is all handled through Honda and not Folsom Lake HondaWe are trying to help resolve his issue

Mr*** brought his Honda Insight with 221,miles to Folsom Lake Honda Service Department on August 02, 2014. His vehicle has never been in to our Service Deptand I could not find a record of it being at another Honda Dealer according to Honda America. He requested an
oil change. When we removed the oil pan drain plug, the threads from the oil pan came out with the plug. The only way this can occur is for the plug to be over-tightened in the previous oil changes. We use a special tool that controls how tight the plug goes in. Most all oil change place just use a wrench, which leads to this condition. My Service Advisor *** and myself both explained this to Mr***.
He asked for alternatives to replacing the oil pan( which is the best way to repair his problem) I told him that there is an alternative. There is a time-sert which replaces just the threads in the pan and costs less than $in most places. We do not perform this repair in that it is somewhat temporary and I cannot guarantee this repair for my customers. I explained it is the cheapest way to go if that is what he was after
We did not not damage his vehicle, but we're the ones to discover the damage that was done previously. If he had previous service performed at another shop, he should return there. The vehicle has been sitting in my lot for days and we would like Mr*** to make a decision as to what he wants to do. Our estimate to replace the oil pan was $ plus tax. Mr *** has alternatives and should make a decision soon

I believe we have completely satisfied Ms. [redacted]. She did come in this weekend and resign a new contract. Any further questions can be directed to me [redacted] or [redacted]. Thank you.

Review: My name is [redacted] and in this complaint is the letter that I emailed Honda dealer (GM & service manager) which we got no response from. This letter should explain the reason for this complaint. For more info please email or call.

Thank you,

My wife and own a 2013 Honda CRV that was purchased at your location. In the last eight months we experienced at the least 6 problems with the battery. Every time that I bring my car for a service I mentioned that the battery is not holding adequate charge; and every single time they say it passes the test. However, we are not able to leave the car on/ engine off with the radio on for 5 minutes, and at times not even with the radio on at all. My wife has had to call AAA for a jump start 6 times since last December! She has been out in the rain at night, pregnant, with our two year old son, as well as stuck in the dead heat of summer with our newborn and toddler, waiting for a jump start.

This is completely unacceptable for us to have a battery that left my family for an average of 1.5 to 2 hours every time waiting for AAA. Today(8/9/16), for example, my wife was waiting for AAA from about 12pm until 2;35 pm in the heat with my sister in law, my 2.5 years old and my newborn baby.

I am more than happy to provide you with all of our battery service requests from AAA if that is what you need to be convinced.

The battery should be under warranty; however, if it is not under warranty, since it takes a while to convinced the service writers that there is a problem with my battery, I am asking you to rectify this by providing us with the service that was promised at the time of purchase. I would not want to think that the service writers are stretching issues in order to have the warranty expire.

My wife is concerned about leaving the house with a car that is unreliable and could leave her and our children in an unsafe situation, and that puts us in a stressful situation where we have to share one car between us.Desired Settlement: I would like to get a replacement battery which was under warranty and was promised with a smile and a handshake at the time of purchase. I wouldn't want to think that the service writers/ service manager/GM are stretching issues in order to have the warranty expired and/ or risking their customers safety man, woman, children and babies alike for the sake of saving the cost of a battery; having them stranded hours at a time waiting for road service.

Review: After signing a contract and selling me a car, 11 days later they called and told me financing fell through and that I needed to sign a new contract with a higher interest rate and requested another additional down payment. They only other option was to return the car, so I called to exchange their car for my down payment and asked them about my down payment if it could be a check so I know im actually going to get my money when they come pick up the car, but they said that I need to return their car to them and if not that they will just send a tow truck to tow it to them at my expense. I as a consumer feel this is unfair and them doing so because I am a woman. They are being very rude throughout this whole thing I just wanted to purchase the car, and not get my down payment threatened.Desired Settlement: I just want this to be over, so I would like for them to just come get the car and give me my down payment in full.
