Complete fraud is what MIDLAND MORTGAGE exalts and delights it's customers withI've sadly been the benefactor of it's practices on numerous accounts Initially the company billed me a full point greater on my mortgageThough I provided documentation which had been provided from within the Midland family and completely endorsed my correctness, customer service personnel for four disputed its' own words Yes, those company representatives quarreled with me for nearly five months; and then settled with an apology towards me An apology is fine but a rebate or refund would have been more practicalNo space or time to illustrate how easily the company imposes extra fees and surcharges for performing regular customer service functionsThe last gripe I have to date with the company is it's refusal to refund to me the amount I paid my local taxes Instead of getting a refund, I've received a bill for a negative escrow account That escrow bill has been followed by a projected escrow analysis that was projected from behind walls using ghost data That is - data that had not nor ever did birth When I've provided them with true and verified accounting, I been placed on hold each time, and then, returned with admission that my figures are true Apparently, a refund it as not part of Midland's character, policy or practice I wonder how much more I can absorb I've never requested a return more than that is rightfully and legally due

This company uses fraudulent practices to rip people offI had storm damage and State farm insurance issued me a check for part of that damage that I had already paidThe amount created a scenario where the check was made out to myself, my wife and MidlandI had to send them the check, they deposited it and were supposed to send me another check in the amount they receivedWe are at plus days after they deposited the check and have not sent it back to meI have been on the phone numerous times, finally asked for a supervisor and was assured if I submitted a paid bill and a business card from the business that did the work, they would send me a checkI was lied to and now have a call from another person with a different requestI called that person times in a hour period and left numerous messages and got no responseI am about to turn this over to an attorney and will sue for the amount of that check plus attorney's feesIt's now going to cost them money for their ineptness and run around

They are awful I have been trying to help an 80-year-old elderly lady save her home I have submitted her documents documents in the last 1/months and they keep claiming they did not receive the documents she has an FHA home and they are still taking her head away this Christmas she will not be in her home that is hungry and cold hearted Millikan be late or dissed honest how they are still in business God only knows they are not here to help they are here to hurt and it's very brokenhearted that this lady has been paid on this Home for years and still are used almost the same amount she do years ago how could that be right how can you put an 80-year-old woman who has given you triple the amount out on the street because you claimed you didn't get documents that I know you got I have it on the system from your system that says that they were received this is very brokenhearted she has dementia and a heart murmur and high blood pressure she just had a heart attack in June of this year and can barely see in Midland wants to put her out on the streetI knew reason why am giving it is one stores because I have to give up something to be able to inform the public do not buy a thing from them do not put your mother or your father or your son or daughter in this situation because Midland will only hurt them

Hello my name is *** *** ***I'm a homeowner for yearsI recently had water leakage due to roof damageI've reported this with my insurance State Farm and Midland Mortgage about the issueState Farm have sent inspectors to check the damagesThey agreed that the roof is damaged from years of wear and tear and it never been updated for yearsState farm started to distribute checks for repairsSo I hired a contractor in November they started to work on my roofThey completely stripped all of the siding off the roofState Farm released money for repairsMidland Mortgage kept the money from State Farm and never sent the money for the rest of repairsTime moves on and winter startsIts Snowing and raining and constant water continue to pour throughout my home in Dolton ILAs you know Chicago has harsh winters and bad weatherSo they stop working and covered the roof with tarpThey haven't worked since December Snow and ice is on the roof now so no o

Midland purchased servicing of my mortgage and was transferred months agoThey are not reporting any of my payments to the credit bureaus and it is negatively impacting my creditCustomer service assured me it would be posted months agoI sent an email follow up to customer service weeks ago and have not received a responseWould never chose to do business with a company like this but it’s out of your control with a service transferAvoid them if you have the option

We were part of the Flood in Louisiana back in Augustwe have done EVERYTHING to get the insurance checkonce we sign and send it to Midland, thinking that the hard part is over, you find out that once THEY receive it, it will take 10-days to processtheir website clearly states: if you send $we will over night signed checks..their term of over night isn't mail today, deliver tomorrowwhat they are FAILING to tell uyou get an email stating moneys distributed, it goes to quality control, then to the cashier, THEN it is finally sentcheck is sent out days laterMidland had NOT been a Pleasure to work withthey have added more stress to and already bad situationinstead of helping to get a property they partially own back to living conditions, they delay your recovery and constructionthey expect you to get repairs done and completed while they hold your funds from the insurance....they have the WORST customer service everi wouldnt recommend Midland to my worst enemy!!!!Midland should be ashamed of themselvesLet us NOT pay the mortgage and see what happens

I had leaks in my roof and the ceilings in my home were damaged My insurance company sent me a check for repairs and my roof written to me and Midland Mortgage I was told to sign and send the check to Midland Mortgage for them to cosignSounds simple...NOT! once you sent the check the keeps it for weeks on end! I got my roof completely fixed and even paid the roofer $out of my own pocketThe check was less than $the work a little over $Bit Midland Mortgage sat on the check for weeks and asking for all types of paperwork I sent all that in and got mail from Midland Mortgage to have their adjuster to come out to see the percentage of work completed REALLY! ......wait REALLY! First...how do you get 100% of the work done WITHOUT THE MONEY It wasn't until the roofer was about to put a lein on the house the sent the darn check....FEDEX next day service So basically they sit on your check, collect interest on that money, cause you to go through hell before giving you the money YOUR insurance company wrote a check forThere has to be a law against this......HAS TO BE!

First issue, I received a letter a month ago from my homeowners insurance saying that my hazard insurance had lapse for non payment It was determined that after years Midland paid the incorrect insurance company Midland did not know the insurance had lapse because they thought they paid the insurance but it was the incorrect company On top of that, the company that they paid are out of Minnesota and cashed the check I had to get a new policy which is now costing me more yearly and a higher deductible because I did not have insurance for a year Now that I have a new insurance company Midland returned the payment to them because my last name has changed and I have not notified Midland So they are saying the check is for the wrong name Same address and account number for years, they have been taking a payment from me for the past years under another name, but now they are returning it and assigned me to their hazard insurance which is double So I went from paying $

We have less than year to pay off the house We had water damage on the first floor State Farm did their deal and I got a check for almost $10, Signed off on the check and I had contacted Midland Mortgage before the check came in to make sure I knew everything that I would need to send them They received everything 8/3/ Today is 9/27/16, I have called them now times 8/24/- was told I had to send them a letter stating I was paying what the insurance did not pay for(ie, deductable plus the depreciation of the flooring)JUST PLAIN STUPID! I sent them a letter via fax Called on 8/29/- was told that they screwed up the total damage amount in their system they were gong to fix that and I should get the check within - business days Called on 9/12/- was told that I should have never been told that the check was going to be sent out in to days but they did see there was an issue and it had been fixed Then HE told me I would see the check in to business days NOTHING!!!! Called today and now was told that it got hung up in QC - Quality Control I owe $6,and the check they are holding on to is for $9, I will NEVER AGAIN deal with Midland Mortgage Do not tell me you are not making interest off my check as it sits in your bank It might be under my name in your "lost draft" account but it is still sitting in your bank I was told today to call back on Friday I will and I will then ask for a manager and then call the Attorney General of Oklahoma

Horrible lender that firmly believes foreclosure is the best option

I was behind in paymentsApplied for their mortgage assistance programs but was deniedI continued to call them to find a resolution and outlined the plan for bringing the account currentI made an online payment, just as I said I would, but after it hadn't been taking from my account after business days I was concerned that something happened to the paymentI went online and it stated my loan was referred to an attorney for foreclosureYet I received NO phone call or correspondence (email/mail) letting me know that my payment didn't go throughMidland will call you times a day when your payment is days late, but NOBODY can call to say there is a problem with my payment when the loan is in the status it is in? I got the run-around from the customer service rep who tried to blame me by saying I didn't follow up soon enoughI informed her that I wasn't fully aware of their processing procedures or timelineTurns out, after reading SEVERAL of the same complaints about Midl

1/26/I received a refund check from Midland, I had moved out of the property, April 2015, due to a divorceMy ex didn't let me know I ever had the check until 5/1/So I called Midland to issue another refund, since most checks only have a day issue dateThey said they would refund my check in 5-daysA week later I called, and was told the check was cashed 2/24/This is impossible since I still have the original checkThey sent me a copy of the "cashed" checkThere is no signature and no banking info on the check, other than that of MidlandKeep in mind I still have the original checkEvery time I call I get the runaround and left on hold 30+ minutes a callCalled and talked to a supervisor today, she could see that they check had not been cashed and was going to make a call and get back with meI was disconnected, and immediately called back and asked for herI was then told she had gone to break, her name is *** ***Keep in mind the lapse between disc

On Jun 17, Midland Mortgage requested, and received, a credit report on me that I did not request or authorize I did not ask for extended credit, a review of a loan, a recalculation of a loan, refinancing, or any other action that would have caused the business to seek to obtain my credit information

We have made payments on a mortgage to this bank for some time Beginning in January they do not seem to be able to properly credit the payments which are made to them We have asked that any extra payment be credited directly to principal and even have that notation included on the checks to them Beginning in January this business has failed to credit as requested and has taken an extraordinarily long amount of time to correct the problem In January the problem was finally corrected but has occurred once again in February To date the problem has not been corrected for February
