I have contacted the customer and we have conversed about their concernI am involved in getting this situation resolvedWe certainly could have had better communication with the customerPart of the issue is that the failed part was on back order but it is now here and we are getting it installed to verify that it will repair the problem

I have left [redacted] 2-messages on her phoneI do not know if it was a home phone or cell but she responded each time by email rather than calling backI would still like to help but not by emailI would like to visit either over the phone or face to faceToo many understandings with emailThe ball is in her court

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I am wondering about the kinds of records this business keepsWhen my girlfriend takes her car the the [redacted] dealership, they know exactly how many miles the car had when it was taken in because they keep good records [redacted] may be confused about which vehicle he is talking about, my [redacted] doesn't have anywhere near 200,000, they would know this if they were a reputable businessIf they thought my vehicle needed too much work, they should have been upfront with me from the beginning, instead they continued to take my money and keep my [redacted] for extended periods of timeAlso, when I asked if they had security lights and camaras at their business after my vehicle was vandalized, [redacted] told me they did not have security camarasAfter that I did not feel comfortable returning my vehicle to that place of businessAdditionally, the security light in my [redacted] has been going off since June, I spoke with [redacted] about this multiple timesI was told many time it had been fixed, however, I continue to have the same problemI also did not feel comfortable taking any vehicle back to them when they couldn't even fix that light Regards, [redacted]

I have contacted [redacted] and he is going to bring the vehicle by for me to inspect

Unfortunately, I cannot reimburse Mr [redacted] for repairs that he had performed at another service centerHis vehicle had over 200,miles and with that age of vehicle there are many items that need attentionMr [redacted] claims that his vehicle was "vandalized while at our dealershipHe pointed out 2-minor dings that probably did not occur while in our shop but in the interest of customer satisfaction I had them repaired to his satisfaction[redacted] ***

I got involved with Mrand Mrs [redacted] and put together a deal for them on a brand new [redacted] They needed to have a vehicle with 6-passenger capacity and with the pricing and incentives on the [redacted] I was able to get them into the vehicle and keep their payment close to what they were payingThey decided that the [redacted] would not workI had a couple of used passenger vehicles that we discussed but could not get them approved without additional down paymentI am still looking for a vehicle that would work for themWe do not trade for a lot of passenger vehicles but soon as one comes in I will let them knowAs I explained to Mrand Mrs [redacted] , their credit since we sold them the [redacted] has went down making it difficult to obtain financingUnfortunately, the banks are more lenient on new car financing than used car financing which is why I initially suggested the new [redacted] I AM sensitive to the fact that Mr [redacted] served in the military and certainly want to help them outI will be in touch with them when I get the right vehicle

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Well, this employee who represents Chrysler Dodge Jeep is really making their integrity look greatHere is a photo of our ONLY conversationAs you can see, I have only had responded to his email within the timeline that he sent me an email, where I have requested for him to respond to my email as wellIt is very sad that this individual is lying in the effort to distract the fact that I have bought two cars from this company with issuesI am not catering to their salesmen gimmick strategyOH wait BUT IF I WAS LOOKING TO GET FINANCED AND PREFERED COMMUNICATION THROUGH EMAIL MY REQUEST WOULD BE CATERED TOO??You got to love their customer serviceThis back and forth or who will contact who is complete BSI am not playing their games after spending thousands of dollars at this dealershipI am the consumer, and the customerI requested that they either offer their help through email, or the Revdex.com due to the lack of faith that I have in this companyMaybe it is hard to comprehend my situation? Or maybe this individual is playing this game if he canThat is okay, everyone will see how I have been treatedWell here it is explained clearly THOUGH I wrote a whole life story on the detailed situation in my original post; They sold me a warranty that is still good, yet won’t cover anything they say I need to fix They sold me two vehicles that both had major issues The current vehicle was inspected by their lube department two months after purchase, and somehow had the issues that I am dealing with now, wow This company has no integrity to withhold a customer’s requestThere you go consumersA simple respond to my email that you can help or notI guess notI don’t play ball in any court, you should be thanking me for job security in the two vehicles I have purchased.Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: What was failed to be stated was that I had to locate the parts that were needed for the repair of my truck since the dealers parts department failed to do soI was also informed by Ram Customer Care that the warranty will reimburse the dealer for the rental truck they did provideI am very thankful for thatAlso, going back to the truck trade, I was asking for an equal valued vehicle considering mine was a with a Cummins dieael and had most major upgrades inside minus leather and heated seatsThe truck I would have accepted was a year newer with less miles and leather interior but a When I was called back, I was told that if I wanted the truck I suggested to trade for, we would have to pay out of pocket $If my math is correct, being helped by a friend that has worked at a dealer, I would have been losing $on that dealSeems fair?!?! I have also tried to get the dealer to address a clicking in the dash that appeared after they replaced the gear shifter which I paid for even though it was a safety issue and was noticed 30days after purchaseI have not got a straight answer from the service advisor if they would replace the RF module and the Service Manager seems to be unconcerned and never returned my call after we initially talked after I called three timesJust seems that once the sale is complete your business is wanted but not appreciatedAgain, not saying I am unappreciative about the rental vehicle or the fact the truck was completed but there were some very suspicious things that raised a red flag after this visit to this dealer Regards, [redacted]

Mr [redacted] had a hole in his seat cover that he thought should be covered under the Chrysler warrantyHe contacted Chrysler and they agreed to replace the seat cover and that he was to pay for the replacement and then get reimbursed by ChryslerAt the time of the seat cover replacement Mr [redacted] requested a front end alignment as wellThe original agreement with Chrysler regarding the seat cover was that Mr [redacted] was to pay for the replacement and then Chrysler would reimburse himHowever, when Mr [redacted] picked up his vehicle he was very irate and refused to pay for the repairWe were able to get Chrysler to reimburse us rather than himMr [redacted] later complained that the seat cover was not installed correctlyWe took pictures of the seat cover and sent them to Chrysler for authorization to install another coverChrysler has refused to install another cover because to them the cover is installed correctly.I am unsure why Mr [redacted] is accusing us of performing an alignment that he says was not necessary when he is the one that told us to do the alignment originallyIf he still believes that the seat cover is not installed correctly he needs to contact Chrysler just like he did originally and get authorization to replace the current coverSteve HardyGeneral managerFt Collins Dodge Chrysler Jeep

Chrysler's warranty does not provide for any type of alternate transportationWe will need to lobby Chrysler to see if they will include the rental as part of the warranty repairIf they fail to do so the charges will be the dealer's responsibility. *** did locate a rebuilt transmission at another dealer but Chrysler would not approve a full transmission replacementThey would only approve tearing down the transmission and replacing the failed componentsI had agreed to trade *** into another truck and sell him the truck for wholesale book value and allow him wholesale book value on his truckI also told him that if he felt that the replacement truck was not comparable to his that he could look at other trucks in inventory and I would do the same type of deal. Unfortunately, I did not have a truck in inventory that was similar to hisIt is unfortunate that he feels we tried to take advantage of the situation when that is not the case

I am rejecting this response because:I am insulted by this response! Wondering what happened to, "You have a great running vehicle from front to back, top to bottom." I took my vehicle to the *** dealership because I believed they were the best and would know how to fix a *** better than anyone else*** *** *** worked on my vehicle for months, always trying to figure out why I was lacking powerThey continuously charged me for unnecessary parts and repairs that did not fix the problemAt the same time I was having a shuttering problemI told them it was my rear end and asked them to fix itThey always told me it was something elseOn one occasion *** told me it was my transmission, which would cost me $4000, however, *** told me there was nothing wrong with the transmissionThe last time I took my vehicle to this dealership I bought front and rear sensors and paid for them to install themI recently found out that these were installed incorrectly which caused other problemsAlso, the last time they had my vehicle it was vandalizedI did not feel comfortable returning to this dealership after that, as the vandalism occurred while in their careI even made a police reportI lost my faith in dealerships due to the way I was treated and the poor work that was done at this dealershipI called some other dealerships, however, they all knew the people at this dealership, which did not ease my comfort about going to another *** dealershipI have *** and they towed my *** recently and I used one of their preferred mechanics, they were able to correctly diagnose the problem, now my vehicle has power and is running the best it's ever runI have every receipt from the *** dealership detailing the work that was done, including the parts and labor I paid forI paid an outrageous amount of money to this *** dealership over the time I took my vehicle to themAll I want is what's right, due to this experience I don't feel comfortable going to another dealership, particularly due to the vandalism and the incorrect installation of simple parts, and because people at other dealerships know ***I am concerned about continuing to have issues if I take it to a dealershipI have other warranties from the work this dealership did and am concerned about not being able to use them due to this experience
Regards,
*** ***

It is so much easier to try and handle a problem either meeting face to face of talking on the telephone, but if *** would rather do it through texting I will do it through textingPlease have her send me a text detailing what is wrong and how she would like to proceed I will attempt to handle the issuesmy cell number to send the text to is ***

I have personally deleted Mr***'s information in our system so he will not receive any offers directly from our dealershipI cannot stop any 3rd party advertising that relies on public record information for their mailing listJust like all dealers, we use these companies in hopes
of either selling a vehicle or purchasing a tradeI do apologize to Mr*** if he feels bombarded with advertisingI get a bunch at my home as well.Steve

I will investigate and get the customer taken care ofI apologize that this did not get handles.Steve H***General Manager

I have left *** 2-messages on her phoneI do not know if it was a home phone or cell but she responded each time by email rather than calling backI would still like to help but not by emailI would like to visit either over the phone or face to faceToo many understandings with emailThe ball is in her court

We are distressed that Mr*** has felt it necessary to
involve Revdex.com in this concern. In review of the details of his complaint, it is clear that the
root cause of his dissatisfaction is the extended wait time to have his vehicle
diagnosed, and ultimately repairedWe freely acknowledge that
current wait
times to be seen by our *** technicians are at an all-time highThis is not a
situation unique to Fort Collins DodgeIn conversations with the other dealers
in our market, we are all experiencing the same surge in businessThis is
largely driven by record *** sales and the current situation regarding the
volume of recalls that have plagued our industry of lateWe recently added
additional technicians to help reduce wait times. When Mr *** brought the vehicle to us, the service advisor
clearly stated that we would have to work the vehicle in between other
customers who had made appointments previouslyAdditionally, because his *** *** is equipped a diesel engine, the wait time could be considerable, as
only of our technicians are trained and certified by *** to perform
warranty repairs on that emission systemThe service advisor, when pressed for
a timeframe as to when the vehicle would be diagnosed, was careful not to set
an expectation she could not meetThis is a common point of contention working
with the backlog we currently haveThe actual time from when the vehicle was entered into the
system to when the diagnostics began was eight business daysThe condition
present in Mr *** vehicle is addressed in a recent service bulletin
published by ***The technician performed the procedures outlined in this
bulletin on 11/25/The installation of the revised software however has
not resolved the concernThe technician is working with engineers at ***
to determine a course of actionTime of completion cannot be determined
currentlyMr *** has spoken with our service manager who has indicated he
will contact *** on his behalf and request a rental vehicle be provided
for a predetermined time while repairs progress. We are most definitely sensitive to the extensive amount
repairs that have been performed by the other dealer in the area, and the time
Mr *** has been out of his vehicleWe must, however, follow established
repair procedures as outlined by the New Vehicle WarrantyWe will assist the
customer in every way possible to help resolve the issues in a timely manner.Sincerely,Steve H***General ManagerFort Collins Dodge
