Fortis Concrete Company Inc. and it's owner have taken advantage of a senior citizen. After paying a LARGE deposit this contractor took an unacceptable amount of time to start AFTER cashing the deposit. Then they damaged electrical and refused to compensate the fee associated to correct it. After that they disappeared entirely. Finally, the work they DID complete is poor at best. Mis- measured, poor quality and crumbling. They filled concrete with dirt and sand instead of sealer. They have yet to correct ALL the poor work and clean up and have left this poor person without a completed and proper project as well as belongings out in the cold and rain. The site is a shambles. Despite pleas, opportunities and requests to correct the issue were met with abusive responses by the owner. Ultimately they have filed false responses to the Attorney General's office. I would WARN anyone using this contractor. But you likely would have made that conclusion by the NINE poor reviews! Shameful.
Fortis Ground Works of Bartlett Illinois just completed our front walk way and back patio and walk way in stamped concrete. The patio is a dream come true. We have wanted this kind of look for 18 years, and now finally we have it.

Choosing the colors and patterns was easy. We chose Harvest Wheat with walnut accents and just love it.
We had Fortis remove our old patio and replace it with a new larger patio that they stamped. They also put in three concrete steps that lead to our garage. Fortis is a family owned business and we dealt with two of the brothers which were very helpful. We thought the cost of the project was very fair and we are very happy with the outcome. We have had neighbors stop by and members of our family who have all had comments on how great our patio looks. If we ever needed another concrete project we would not hesitate to call Fortis.
