This is not acceptable. I paid for phone support. There is none. I paid for support of some kind there is none. Until the unit is either replaced or phone support which I paid $39 is provided; or a $39 refund this complaint remains open.

We apologize sincerely to the complainant for the issues they are still facing. We have reached out to our RMA department to offer the complainant a full refund on the item he purchased that he has been having issues with. The RMA department is in contact with the complainant and a refund should be offered as soon as possible.

I have contact your third party company before. That is why I filed this complaint in the first place. I wasted 2 weeks on the phone with Foscam shenzen because they are unable to supoort these products. Sure they try, but they do not half the knowledge or understanding of the products to set them up and get them integrated properly. That is why I contacted foscam directly, that is why I refuse to accept these half answers, that is why I filed this complaint.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  I've contacted paypal and they are telling me that Foscam did not refund the money on June 6th.
I still have not received the refund on my [redacted] Card.
I've contacted Paypal and [redacted] says Paypal needs to contact them. Paypal says that Foscam needs to call Paypal to fix it.
I am getting charged 17% APR interest on $269.90. That is $0.13 a day that Foscam is holding and using MY money.
I would like the products I paid for or a full refund including interest for the time Foscam illegally help my money.

The firmware which was stated to have this issue was [redacted], which was released publicly in December 2013. Prior to this, the issue relating to firmware did not exist, it is possible the attacker who used the camera...

was already able to identify the username and password associated with the camera. We always recommend setting difficult passwords for both your camera as well as your router due to this. It's important to note this bug was resolved recently with a new firmware update, [redacted]
 
Due to the issue at hand, we are more than happy to assist with the customer's request to return the item for a refund. However, since the item was purchased more than 6 months ago, there is no other way to refund the customer other than to send reimbursement via [redacted]
 
Since the seller for the item purchased on [redacted] was "[redacted]" and not Foscam Digital Technologies LLC, the camera order does not appear and as such, there is no option to refund the customer via this channel.
 
We will be sending the customer a prepaid shipping label to send the item back, as well as details to receive reimbursement for the item.

Our company does Not charge a fee or accept payment of any kind in exchange for Technical Support. I do not know where you believe you paid $39 USD for Technical support. Please provide a record of this payment and proff of purchase for the product (or service in question) so that our team can review this further.
