Took my money and didn't give me a car
This was the worst experience I have ever had with renting a car. I have been traveling for 30+ years and this is definitely the worst. We waited 1 hr 45 min in line just to get to the counter. When we did, the agent would not give us a car because we were early. I was willing to take ANY car they had available. When I asked for a different car he became rude and said he could not help us, even though there were cars available on the lot. (Two people in line in front of us left without their cars due to other reasons.)Not only was our experience bad, but they refused to give us a refund. Do not rent from Fox.

On July 12,2020 at 10:18 am I rented a vehicle from FOX RENT A CAR which was prepaid on July 13,2020 for the amount of
$125.20 . I had reserved a vehicle for 3 days through Priceline.com of which I paid with my debit card. When I picked up the car on July 12, 2020 at 10:18 am I was informed by Jarrett *** that the rental would require a $500.00 deposit hold which would be
deposited back to my credit card "WITHIN 3 - 5 BUSINESS DAYS after I return the vehicle" . I returned the vehicle on July 15,
2020 at 9:30 am just as I picked it up with a full tank of gas. On July 17, 2020 at 11:30 am I called FOX RENT A CAR Customer Service to see why my they were still holding on to my deposit 48 hours after I had returned the vehicle. After waiting nearly an hour to speak with someone I was informed that their policy is to hold a credit card deposit 14 business days after the return of a vehicle. I informed her that I was not told that by Jarrett *** when I checked out the vehicle and that they should not hold my money for that long after I have honored my end of the contract with no violations. I just want my money returned to my card because I need it.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the complaint filed by *** Burns. I apologize that Mr. Burns was unaware of the local renter policies prior to arrival. A refund of all monies paid to Fox Rent a Car were issued and Priceline was informed and request made for them to issue a refund as well. Should you have any other quesitons, please let us know.
