Review: This company repeatedly calls my home and requests to talk to me. The number they are calling is on the "do not call" list because I do not want this type of call. I have been on the list for as long as it has existed, so there is no excuse for them to be placing calls to this number. The company has a legal responsibility to pay attention to the Do Not Call list and to comply with this Wisconsin law (they are headquartered in WI also) without being requested to stop.Desired Settlement: Obey the law. If Revdex.com is receiving similar complaints from others like this, the appropriate authorities should be contacted so that the company cleans up their act and starts to respect the law, which everyone knows about.

Thank you for notifying us of the situation with [redacted]

[redacted]. We strive to provide our customers with the best possible service, and

when they feel that it fails to meet their expectations, it’s important for us

to know.

We’re sorry that he received calls that prompted you to

contact us with his complaint, and we regret any inconvenience or frustration

that his experience has caused him. To ensure that our staff conducts itself in

a manner that reflects the high regard that we have for our customers, we’ve

notified the proper department of your complaint.

We are a small telemarketing firm here with only 4-5 people

on staff at a time. We use all manual dialing

and if we got ahold of him and he was on the DNC list it was the last thing

that we would want. Unfortunately with a

small organization like ours there is human error. We have been in business for 3 years and this

is a rare situation for Fox Valley Air

Thank you again for bringing these matters to our attention.

Response:

Horrible company. Got a scratch card in the mail telling me I won a prize. Called the company who said they were going to send someone out to deliver my prize and I'd have to listen to their sales pitch. They showed up 2 hours later than they had scheduled. The 18 and 22 year old that presented the products were crude and completely unprofessional. Upon arrival the young girl decided to bring my barn cat in the house. Not ok with me. They set out all their products while continually making jokes about [redacted]. The young woman had dropped Bud Light bottle caps out of her coat while demoing a product. They both continued to swear and use offensive language the entire time. This sales pitch also lasted an hour longer than I was told. I was so offended and put off with the whole experience, yet the young man guilt tripped me into purchasing a vacuum and filter because his son "had health issues and he needed the commission." Against my better judgement I'd told them I'd test the products for a day and then sign the contract if I liked them. A week later, I've been trying to contact the company via email and phone, and not a single person will give me the time of day. I want to return these products and get my money back. I'm completely disgusted by this company and the people that work for it.

Review: Received a call from Fox Valley Air LLC March 25th at about 7pm in the evening asking to set up a same evening home visit appointment for 8:30 pm. I informed the caller I was not interested but they insisted, stating that I didn't have to purchase anything. I just had to allow the salesman to come over and drop off my "free gift", a set of stainless steel bowls, with measuring spoons and the like. At the most, If I allowed, there would be a ONE hour presentation. I agreed to allow the salesman to came to the house to show me the air filtration system in exchange for the bowl set I was promised.

Product turned out to be a cheap air filter with a most expensive vacuum cleaner which I was not aware of. I told him I was not in the market for a new Vacuum cleaner since I had recently purchased a Riccar and was very satisfied. What should have been a ONE hour presentation turned into almost three hours. I reiterated the fact that I was NOT interested in his products as they were, in my opinion, very cheaply made and it was getting late so we needed to end this.

When asked about the stainless steel bowl set we were promised, he informed us he didn't really have any, even though earlier in the presentation he lied stating it was in his car and he would bring it in later. So he assures us several times that he will swing by the next day, March 26th and drop one off...which of course he never did!

First off, the sales pitch was supposed to be for an air purifier, NOT a $4000.00 vacuum cleaner set.

...secondly, We were promised a stainless steel bowl set if we allowed him into our home for a presentation, which we did, but we were not given the set,

...and lastly, he told us someone would be calling us directly after he left because he was going to tell his manager we tossed him out...which we DID NOT!...so that he would not have to call in (as he put it) "a bunch of numbers" to end the visit. This put me in a position to have to explain to a caller WHY I kicked him out!!Desired Settlement: At the VERY least, I expect the stainless steal bowl set to which I was promised numerous times, and DID sit through a presentation for, or a cash equivalent bowl set value sent to me for compensation of my hours given to their sales pitch.

I also do not believe this company, which has similar complaints against it, should carry an A Revdex.com rating because they mislead the public by making reference to it in their contact call.

Hello [redacted],

Review: I received a card telling me about a prize I had won. I knew this was a scam but figured I would call just to ensure I hadn't won one of the good prizes. [redacted], "the manager" answered my call and was exceptionally rude on the phone. She continually hung up on me and would not tell me what prize I had won without me giving her personal information I did noy wish to share. I asked for her boss to complain but she would not give me that or the owner of the business.Desired Settlement: I want to know what prize I might have "won" so I can decide if I want to proceed.

Fox Valley Air

To whom it may concern,

Fox Valley Air has attempted to contact the customer several times to resolve this issue as soon as possible. The customer had received a promotional scratch card and had called to redeem the prize. The prize is dependent on the hand on the back of the scratch card, and is matched with a Master Slot Chart. We hope to discuss more with the customer about the way the call was handled. The customer is welcomed to call in and ask for the sales manager immediately to match up the hand and redeem their prize.

Review: My daughter-in-law received a postcard in the mail stating she was an instant winner. She called, was told she was required to be a homeowner and needed to set up a home demonstration for an air purification system. She gave them my name, address and it was scheduled for Wednesday, August 7th, 2013 at 6:00 pm. At 5:10 pm Fox Valley Air called to confirm my appointment for 6:00 pm. At 7:30 pm that evening the salesman was still not there, so I proceeded with my evening and went to bed at 8:00 pm. My daughter came in my room a little after 8:00 pm and stated "there is a strange man here." I went to get up to tell him I was not interested and he was STANDING IN MY BEDROOM! He followed my daughter into my home after she asked him to wait outside while she gets me. I told him he needed to leave, but he stood there. I got up and started walking towards him asking him to leave. He started to walk back as I approached him and then I noticed he had a high level of alcohol odor coming from him. I again stated he needed to leave! He asked if he could borrow my home phone to call the office as he had no cell service. I let him use my phone in hopes he would leave sooner. After his phone call he continued to stand in my dining room trying to convince me to reschedule. I again stated for the 4th time, you NEED TO LEAVE and I started walking towards him again. He headed for the door and I eventually got him outside where I told him I would never be interested in their products ever again! My daughter-in-law called the company to complain about the salesman showing up with alcohol on his breath on Thursday, August 8th, 2013. She was told a manager would contact me. I had not been contacted by Thursday evening, so I called there. I was rudely told by the 1st person I talked to that "the salesman was not drunk ma'm." I asked her if she was in my home at the time because I didn't recall her being there!! I proceeded to tell her about the bedroom incident, which she said I needed to be transferred to another person. The next lady I spoke with listened to my story and my concerns. She apologized and stated the salesman ([redacted]) had been put on a 72 hour suspension and wanted to know what they could do to remedy this situation. I stated THEY needed to figure out what they want to do for a remedy and something needs to be done now! I stated I could (and should have) called the police but I didn't. He knows where I live and also knows the inside of my home, so I have concerns for future safety. This lady stated she would have the business manager ([redacted]) call me on Friday, August 9th, 2013. As of yesterday, Tuesday, August 13th, 2013, I have not heard back, so I called the company. The 1st call I placed, I stated who I was and then hung up on me. I called back, stated who I was and then hung up on me again! I called a 3rd time and stated I needed to speak to [redacted] and the person on the phone said he had him on the other line and he would call me ASAP. To date I have not heard back from them.Desired Settlement: I'm not sure of the desired settlement. I would like Fox Valley Air to remedy this situation and to ensure my future safety. I'm willing to discuss any options they have.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I don't think there is anything else that can be done. I was reassured this matter was handled.

Thank you

Review: They are not very good with there credit application to buy the product 3 differet times I had to fiil out the Credit appilcation. Now they are telling me I have false Info on my application they won't tell me what is false. Not sure if my info was tranfered wrong on the the application. Also I was to get a FREE defender then the Sales person said your credit will only allow one I thought I was getting one free does not make sense to me. Also the sales person said we have to change your withdraw date from march to feb. Sure the products do work great but the paper work needs to be improved. They I so focuses on trying to get sales the there paper work does not get filled out the right way the first time.Desired Settlement: I would like to know what I wrote on my credit info that was false.

Review: Repeated phone calls some of which that have not been answered. Those calls that have been answered were told to remove our telephone number from their call list. When the caller was told that "[redacted]" would not be identified they said that they will call him later. The frequency of the phone calls and mailings is harassing and unsolicited.Desired Settlement: Remove our name and telephone numbers from their listing.

Business

Response:

Good Afternoon,

I have made sure that [redacted]'s name and phone number has been removed from our calling list. I have also made the list company aware of the situation.

Thank you,

Review: Multiple Issues, in order of severity:

1. High Pressure Door to Door Vacuum cleaner pitch resulted in purchase on Friday 10/18/13.

We exercised the right to cancel on 10/23/13 (within 3 business days of purchase contract).

a. Fox Valley Air Representative [redacted] tried to assert by phone that the contract could

not be cancelled because the finance company now owns the contract. After

contacting the company owner [redacted] and he said that he would take care of:

"Canceling the contract, picking up the products and returning our $350.00

down payment check".

b. Equipment was picked up on or about 8 November by [redacted] but there

was no check. He said "it would be coming in the mail".

c. We were contacted by the finance company (American Enterprises) by phone on December 11 stating

that we were in default on our loan for purchase from Fox Valley Air.

2. Sales pitch is high pressured. Staged at the end of the week in the evening

when working people are tired and susceptible to this type of marketing.

3. I was physically touched by [redacted] during the meeting. Tapped on the shoulder when

my attention was waning.

4. The product has to be way over priced. I work in an OEM manufacturer and the total price of

materials I estimate to be less than $50.00 for the product. They sell it for $2798.00. It's a

vacuum cleaner. This allows them to offer a "deep discount" of $1,199.00 when you say

"No" and of course it's very hard to say no to a "Savings of $1199.00" and on and on until

you give in.

5. I believe that Fox Valley Air gave the finance company the wrong address for us so that we would not get the billing statements. This appears to be an attempt to exact revenge and punish us for canceling the contract. Not known at this time is if damage to our credit rating has taken place.Desired Settlement: 1. Contact the Credit Company "American Enterprizes" and correct the billing error(s)..

2. Return our down payment check.

3. Re-embursement for my registered mailings in the amount of $6.11 would be nice.

Business

Response:

Fox Valley Air would first like to Apologize for all the inconvenience that [redacted] had to go through with this. We looked into our records and it shows that there was an error with the processing and cancelling of this purchase. It has been removed off our books but with American it still is showing as an active account. We have put in a request to them to have this account charged back and [redacted] will no longer owe a penny for this account. The DP will be sent back to [redacted] through UPS on 12-13-2013. Fox Valley Air gave all the information we had on our contract to American. We will pledge to resolve this in the 72 hours completely
