Everdry is servicing this situation as we speak. Everdry is committed to supporting the homeowner in warranty, however, during torrential rains, digging the outside wall down to the footer could have created a bigger issue, therefore, this service was rescheduled. Unfortunately, Everdry
schedules all work to be performed which lead to a date that was out further than the homeowner wanted. Everdry would have moved the service up if possible. This complaint was also complained to the Attorney General, therefore has become a legal situation

We are no longer using Offer Up and have never used LetgoBeing an electronic recycler we are always receiving different inventories that are limitedWe cannot control what and how much gets recycledWe do run sales through out different time of the year just as any other store wouldAs for the
items being sold before a particular customer comes in; thats how it goes since we are working with limited inventoryWe stopped using Offer up because we did not see it as successful in the number of responses to our ad

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 18, 2015/10/09) */
Mr*** contracted Everdry to do waterproofing on outside wall of his home and rebuild a corner on a separate area of his homeEverdry scheduled this work to be done on March 23, After scheduling the work, Mr*** called
our office with concerns about his rebuild and that part of his wall would be opened during the rebuild and would expose his house to the very cold temperatures that followed the winter monthsEverdry and Mr*** made an agreement that we would perform the waterproofing on wall on this date and would return when the weather was better for the rebuildAt this time, Everdry has only charged Mr*** for part of the contracted work, which Mr*** signed off on the completion of the waterproofingDuring the waterproofing installation, Everdry found that Mr***'s home did not have a footer, and to perform the remaining work, a footer must be addedEverdry was going to incur the costs for the footer, but had to subcontract this out because it is not work that Everdry typically performsDue to the abamount of rain we received during June and July, Everdry decided it was not in the best interest of Mr***'s house, to remove the wall to perform the rebuild workA representative from Everdry went to Mr***'s home on July 2, The representative also met with the City of Decatur regarding the home, since there was no footer...Everdry wanted to gather all of the information needed and follow code by the city to have work performed properlyEverdry spoke with Roger *** at the Decatur Building Department about this unique job and pulled the necessary permits to perform the workEverdry has continuously made attempts to contact Mr*** in the past couple of months to schedule this work to be done, and to have a footer poured at Everdry's expense...however Mr*** has said he does not want Everdry back to his home to do the work
Everdry is willing and able to perform the work that is needed for Mr***'s home
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 20, 2015/10/12) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept this responsePrimarily because it is so demonstrably false, it's an outright lieFirst of all, they were scheduled to come in January and said they would have to shut my heat off for days(temps in the teens) which was unacceptableThus, we rescheduled for March, they came and did less than half of the job and said they would do the rebuild in a few weeksAfter months of hearing nothing from them, a rep stops by the house in June and offers me a free inspectionI told him I already had a contract and that his company hasn't come by or called since MarchThe next morning I got a call from Everdry to schedule my free inspectionFinally I was able to get ahold of someone at everdry and they didn't even know what work had been pperformed yetSo in July they sent another inspector and I haven't heard from them since despite me calling numerous times, with one exception: at the end September I went to the Decatur Police Department to file a police report on EverdryOfficer Gerber called and shockingly, no one was there other than a secretaryI had no choice but to hire a lawyerThe day after I hired the lawyer, Everdry called to kind schedule a date, but not reallyI entered into contract with Everdry on 10-1-2014, they ignored every attempt at contact by myself, wife, the Revdex.com, the Attorney General, and the Decatur Police DepartmentFor them to not only claim to have attempted to contact me continuously (not once since July 2) but also to claim to be the victim is heinousPhone records and timelines will easily show Everdry is lying, just look at their response dateThey could at least have the balls to tell the truth

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2015/08/15) */
Things are still pending, depending on what Mr*** does in compensating me for all my work, misery, and aggravation
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 18, 2015/08/28) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Not if it is October 1stI was told September 1stSee how incompetent they areOver six months and they still have not completed this jobPlus they will not send a representative to my house to talk with me after 3:pmI've already had to take time off workMy employer is not going to want to give me more due to Everdry's incompetenceThey certainly have not gained any references or recommendations from me, and justifiablyAs long as I've been tore up around here and as unhappy as I've been you would think they would send someone to my home to talk with me after I get off workBut their people don't or rarely know what it is to work past 3:pmI'm totally displeased with their workmanship and their untimely manner of completing a six day jobWhich will be months by the time they get to finally finishing my basement and then I seriously doubt it will be waterproofThey're simply that negligent, incompetent, and inept in operating as professionalsIf this job is not done very soon, there will be action taken and most likely will if my basement leaks severely which it did times majorly and times minorly after their so called completionIf they knew what they were doing I could have been relaxing in the recliner after those heavy rains we had instead of battling water for over hours total in those heavy rains
Since they worked on my place I now have blackish water coming into my sump pump pitThat never happened beforeThe water was always clearI need to talk with someoneLike the big boss himselfHe came once before and he can come again or at least send a man who knows what he's doing and talk to me about these last couple issues left to correct

Everdry performed service work for Mr***At this point, Everdry met with Mr*** and the basement was dry, although, Mr*** has a pump set up in which has nothing to do with Everdry and this pump's discharge is not functioning properlyEverdry told Mr*** that even though the pump is not ours, we will run a new discharge for him free of charge

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2017/04/21) */
Everdry is sympathetic towards the leaking happening for the ***'sDuring initial installation, Everdry made every effort to install the Multi Step System with intent to stop all leakageUnfortunately, the basement has been finished with
drywall the entire time, therefore, finding all cracks had to be done from the outsideCracks can sometimes pinch together creating an image displaying no crackEverdry is going to stand behind the warranty and get a resolutionWaterproofing is not a one and done situation, that is why there is a service agreementMost of the time, depending on the home and situation, Everdry tries to keep homeowner costs down by not having to move appliances, drywall, and other obstructions for waterproofingAlthough, if that resolution can get accomplished, the Everdry contract states the homeowners obligation is to make the area bare and accessible for resolutionEverdry is scheduled to service the system and resolve issues on May 15, Also, after the last service, Everdry found what seems to be a cistern under ground next to the foundationEverdry plans to excavate around the foundation to see this cistern and how it could be affecting the foundationIf in fact it is leaking and creating the source of moisture, the homeowners will want to find resolution to the cisternEverdry has full intent to help resolve this issue at the *** residence
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2017/04/28) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Going back to the original service, if Everdry had dug all the way down, all the way around, like they are supposed to, perhaps they would've seen the cracks that were missed the first time or twoIf it was imperative that the drywall and/or framing be removed, it should've been requested thenI would say that after paying *** + several un-paid days off of work, and making sure someone was at the house each time Everdry came out, any additional costs should be covered by EverdryThat includes the time and money it takes to remove and replace any drywall and/or framing, re-landscaping the yard and hooking up the a/c unit againSince our house was built in the 60's, I doubt there is a cistern next to itAt this point, I would expect any further issues, including that, to be covered by EverdryEverdry's system has failed time and time again, for over a year's timeI want a full refund, or, if service is to be done, it needs to be done in full, with no more cost to my familyI don't want us to have to spend any more of our time or hard earned money on thisWe suffer from allergies, and without our a/c hooked up, (it can't be hooked back up until Everdry finally waterproofs our basement, so the ground doesn't have to be dug up again), we have been miserable, needing to open the windows to try to keep the house coolConcessions need to be made by EverdryBottom-lineIf they want to fix it right, beginning on the 15th, that's fineThey will need to come out and prep it, and then put things back where they belong, or pay to have them put backAgain, using the car analogy, if you purchased a new car that would not stop leaking after a year, you would expect a replacement car, or your money backWe expected to get what we paid for...a dry basement...a year ago, and it's still leakingEveryone should agree that this is unacceptable! Everdry needs to make this right!

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/02/10) */
Everdry contacted Mr*** on 1/27/to set up a time for the owner and production manager to come to his house and address any issues he was havingThe inspection was set up for 2/3/16, which happened to be a great day to inspect his
system because this area just had a heavy rain the previous day/night on 2/2/When the owner and production manager arrived at Mr***'s house they found his basement to be dry, the previous days rain had no effect on his house, which was proving that the system had workedA few things they found was that the digital display was not working on Mr***'s BBU, but was still functioningEverdry is willing to replace the whole unitAlso the cracks that Mr*** was referring to are called stinging cracks, which are superficial cracks that just cosmetically need to be readjusted, due to the thickness of the concrete, the owner told Mr*** that we can cut out and repour the concrete in this area so it looks cosmetically betterThose were the findings of the inspection that took place, other than that the system seems to be functioning properlyAfter Everdry initially installed their system, one of the discharge pipes blew apart due to the amount of water that was flowing thru it, which caused Mr*** to get water in his basement, this was not due to faulty workEverdry turned the information over to their insurance company, so Mr*** would be compensated for this incidentEverdry has spoke with Mr*** several times after this incident, and has followed up with their insurance company regarding this claimEverdry's insurance has paid out an amount of money to Mr*** for the remediation and damages of this incidentEverdry's insurance company in no way, shape, or form asked Mr*** to pay a deducible to themEverdry spoke to Mr*** on 2/9/to schedule these repairs and Mr*** said he does not want us to do the workTo this date Everdry is willing and able to perform this service work for Mr***

The discharge pipes were installed by EverdryThe pipes separated from each other because they were inproperly installed, My basement flooded and it took Everdry months to respond to thisDuring all these times I had the ordeal of contacting the people who can clean the basement of the wet carpet and repair the wall that ere contaminated with waterI spent months trying to take care of all of theseEverdry does not consider this as faulty or something they are responsible forWhen they visited the premises they found more mistakes in what they didI said I don't you to touch my basementI am demanding a refund because the main reason I had Everdy do the work was to avoid my flooding on my basementweeks after they did the job, my basement floodedEnough said

After Everdry assessed Mr***'s property on 2/3/and found the few items that needed serviced...the production manager, Brian called Mr*** on 2/9/16, and then again on 2/12/and spoke to Mr***Brian told Mr*** that we would service his house on 3/4/16, which would only take a few hoursWe would replace the bbu, rerun the discharge line, and repour the area that had stinging cracksAlso, Mr*** was offered $for any inconveniences he hadMr*** refused to accept the schedule date Brian offered to him b/c he said he did not want Everdry to service the system, that he would do it himself and send Everdry the ***As of this day Everdry is still willing and ready to service Mr***'s waterproofing system and make any necessary repairsMr*** is not willing to let Everdry service his home, which Mr*** entered into a service agreement with Everdry when the system was installed, if any future repairs needed to be done

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2017/09/12) */
Upon further conversation in response to the interaction between our Production Manager in the customer and to better answer the specific complaint, there are three important areas to discussFirst, the porch is an attached porch to the home,
closed in porch, this would be considered major constructionIn being able to accomplish this concern it would require a construction company who is an expert in such work to completeAdditionally, the production manager does not believe this to be an area that would need to be accomplished based on the work that was completed at the houseSecond, If in fact the pipe is on an upward slant we will do all that is necessary to fix that workBased on the secondary inspect done by Brain, he does not believe that the pipe is on an uphill slantOne concern that was shared to Brain during the secondary inspection was around check valves, which Brain determined to be present in the homeThere was not water or mud in the basementAgain, we will do what it takes to explain the job and if there are concerns or areas that need to be addressed we will address themThird, we can have Brain and *** come back out to the home, in making sure time is spent efficiently, we do ask that we are focused on fixing the solution versus the adversity that Brain faced in his time spent during the secondary inspection
Kind regards,
We look forward to educating and having a solution focused conversation
Everdry
