Freedom [redacted] of Harrisburg has received a complaint in regards to [redacted] Freedom [redacted] of Harrisburg and [redacted] unwound the transaction of the purchase the next dayFreedom [redacted] of Harrisburg refund [redacted] 's Credit Card, as soon as he gave us the credit card number, refunded 6/The Credit Union funds that he supplied Freedom [redacted] of Harrisburg was reimbursed as soon as the check cleared, refunded 7/ [redacted] had not incurred any interest on his credit card or loan as a result of the refund transaction timeThe vehicle was picked up by Freedom [redacted] Of Harrisburg on 6/**./*** [redacted] handed the Freedom drivers the keys to the vehicleFreedom [redacted] of Harrisburg used those keys to drive the vehicle back to our dealer locationOur sales team at both [redacted] and [redacted] have been working with [redacted] to find him another vehicleHe has not agree to any new vehicles or pricingFreedom [redacted] of Harrisburg has offered [redacted] under invoice pricing on both product lines and he is looking for additional money to be take off [redacted] shopped our pricing and has not been able to have another dealer that can beat the deal that we have given him [redacted] the manufacturer offered [redacted] a loaner vehicle and he continued conversation with the manufacturer and they took back the loaner car availability because there is no fix to the [redacted] That is a decision by the manufacturer that Freedom [redacted] of Harrisburg can not overruleThe General Manager, Evelyn C [redacted] has been actively responding to all emails from [redacted] 's attorney about this situationEvelyn and [redacted] have been in contact during this entire process after the car was picked up for return.Freedom [redacted] of Harrisburg is looking to help [redacted] in a purchase of another vehicleFreedom [redacted] of Harrisburg has given him very aggressive pricing to assist him on the purchaseAll funds that were discounted to [redacted] for the [redacted] are funds that are Freedom [redacted] of Harrisburg, NOT [redacted] or [redacted] manufacturers.If he would like to set up an appointment to come in and talk about the vehicles he is interested in, we are more then welcoming him to do soHe can come test drive them and Freedom [redacted] of Harrisburg hopes we can make a deal togetherAngela W [redacted]

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Why would freedom [redacted] then not file the insurance claim with there insuranceMy insurance company said they would cover the damages but only after they received a rejection of the claim from there insuranceThat's all they wanted and Freedom [redacted] refusedMy insurance company already went over this with them and they still refusedThere was no reason for them not to carry out this step because it would have cost them nothingIf they contacted my insurance company like they claimed, why would they not call me and inform me of this or even return my emailsThis could have been avoided if they would have done one simple step or even informed me of what they were doing instead they choose to do nothingI never said they were responsible for the accident or cost of repairs, all I said was they did not do what they said they were going to do as in help me with the steps with the insurance process and help me as much as they couldTo this day I have heard nothing from themAll I want is to be treated fairly, If we could come to a compromise I would accept thatThe reps from Freedom [redacted] know what was said and I just want them to honor there word Regards, [redacted]

Freedom Toyota of [redacted] has received a compliantWe read all of the complaint, but we find it hard to give merit to a vehicle that was purchased over years ago, with less mileage to really identify when the issue began at this pointWe will be more than willing to have our used car manager give him a value to trade for a new vehicle as a down paymentWe do have to take into consideration the balance that he owes to the bankplease let me know when you are avail and we can see how we can help get into a different car as your vehicle will need to be traded [redacted]

Freedom Toyota of Harrisburg has received a complaint from [redacted] Freedom tries to make every customer happy during the sale and through servicing after the saleWith [redacted] , Freedom had applied the environmental protectionThe environmental protection interior and exterior does not cover any pre-exiting paint and interior damagesThe vehicle was a used vehicle and still the environmental plan was applied to after the sale, as purchased The vehicle at time of purchase had over 80K miles on the vehicle Freedom Toyota of Harrisburg did try at time of service to get the pre-existing stain on the seat out, but Freedom can not warranty it due to the stain was there at time of purchase Freedom would like to offer to re clean the vehicle and have the environmental protection re applied if that would show a "goodwill" offer to satisfy the customer in this situation Thanks, Angela W [redacted]

In response to this ongoing complaint;
Our Service manager, *** ***, has agreed to do a standard diagnostic check at no chargeA standard diagnostic check will include a test drive and look through of all visual parts The standard diagnostic check will not be disassembled parts or break down during this check The diagnostic will be free to *** but any findings found throughout the check will be her responsibility to decide to have fixed and she will be responsible for 100% of the cost of the repairsThis is Freedom Automotives GOODWILL gesture to help a customer*** needs to call to make that appointment with *** ***We are not guaranteeing to provide a loaner car for this diagnostic checkThis maybe considered a waiter serviceThanks,

Freedom Automotive Harrisburg has received a complaint from *** ***. This is the response I had gotten from out Service Director, Alan P***."*** already denied twice. I understand that we may have misspoke but the manufacturer has final approval, not us. The customer
issue is the warranty coverage. It should be explain that stone chips that cause rust and corrosion are not a manufacturer defect and all paint defects must be approved with pictures submitted to the manufacturer. Also, the customers' warranty is outlined in their owners manual. Rust and corrosion is defined in their also"Freedom Automotive of Harrisburg had extended themselves to the manufacturer and *** is not willing to offer a goodwill one time fix, we are unable to fix it free to the customer.Thanks, Angela W***

I am rejecting this response because: You were not supposed to sell that car in first place as there was a safety recall issued by *** on 7th of JuneWe have given the keys to you, as your manger MrJoe made us to believe that *** has authorized for a loaner car, and requested to release the car, and I trusted himHe didn't even bother to inform us that he is sending someone to pick the car, until I called him on 06/15/You decided by your self to cancel the transaction, *** corporate was ready to give the loaner car(I have this documented from *** corporation), but your owner/dealership still went ahead and decided to cancel the transactionYou didn't bother to refund the loan amount until an attorney was involvedThe *** offer you are giving is no good, as I am getting the better offer from another dealer in HarrisburgMy attorney sent the information to MsEvelyn is not ready to accept the fact that this is not a best deal, asked us to wait till 23rd of this monthMy self and attorney have requested her to send us the sale contract multiple times, and no response on thatI have been renting a car, as you have failed to accommodate itI have been waiting to resolve this, and you have left me no option. I got an email from MrRyan L***, per that you will be putting a STOP sale sticker on the car, but this car is still available on your websiteThis makes me believe that there are trust issues with the promises made by your dealershipMost of the dealerships either have provided the loaner car with the help of *** and/or taking care of the monthly payments to retain the customerHere I have experienced nothing but stress from your dealership, and you are killing timeTherefore, I have decided to contact Revdex.com

I am not sure why our insurance company would need a claim to reject to get your insurance company to pay for the damages. I think a talk face to face or on the phone might help me make better sense. Good afternoon!Freedom [redacted] of Harrisburg has received this complaint from [redacted].The vehicle was put out on a dealer tag on an [redacted] and a borrow agreement of the customer being responsible for any damages. The vehicle was damage during the time the vehicle was being borrowed by [redacted]...

[redacted]. Before the vehicle even left our parking lot, our sales associate had added the vehicle to the customers insurance. Attached is a copy of the insurance card as proof it was insured by [redacted]. the copy of the [redacted] and loaner agreement is also attached.Our sales associate, Sidney R[redacted], contacted the agent about the damage and indicated that he saw no reason it would not be covered by [redacted]'s insurance and that the agent had talked to the adjuster and there was no indication that it was a hit and run, based on the damage of the vehicle.Freedom [redacted] of Harrisburg is asking that [redacted] cover all fees for the damage to be repaired.

roadways, or warrant any tires.[redacted] did return the vehicle to Freedom, not wanting it anymore. It was advised by our sales manager about what non payment would do to their credit and that they needed to contact the finance company as [redacted] has a loan on that vehicle, Freedom does not own it.[redacted] came to the dealership with a family member and removed her personal belongs from the vehicle. Our sales manager, Stacy H[redacted], offered to trader her out of the vehicle, but there was no interest in that option.[redacted], would  need to make an agreement with her finance company about the future of her loan and vehicle. Freedom is unable to help due to the vehicle is owned by a finance company and [redacted]. We do NOT accept a 15% discount.  We want a full refund.  You damaged our vehicle at the time of inspection.  We shouldn't have to pay a single thing.  We never agreed to the 15%. This is not our fault, you should be held liable and take responsibility for the damages that were done in your shop.
