[redacted] I am still working on your issue with the escrow and insurance department and respectfully request a few more days to complete this and to respond to you with a resolution.[redacted]Freedom Mortgage Corporation

[redacted] upon receipt of your complaint I asked our cash department to review their records. They show the following:

[redacted])The payments on 9/10 was made with a representative and I believe it was to replace the one that had been returned due to the error in the account number. Do you show more payments than the above having been taken from your account ? If so can you email documentation to my email address [redacted] and I will have the cash department review. Currently there is 781.55 in suspense and the loan is due for the 10/1 payment. The next draft is scheduled for 10/9 and would complete the 10/1/15 payment. If we are missing payments here please let me know and I will be happy to assist[redacted]Vice President Customer ServiceFreedom Mortgage Corporation

Mr. [redacted], please call me at [redacted]. It will be easier for me to go over the old loan's history with you on the phone then going back and forth in an email. I attached the history with the last response and am attaching it here again. If you would call me so we can go over it I think it will clear things up and if you have further questions I can address them immediately.[redacted]Freedom Mortgage

Mr. [redacted], as you are aware, we communicated via email the other day in regards to your concern about the credit report. A that time I advised that we had submitted a correction request to the credit bureaus and that the account would reflect paid as agreed and paid in full in the next...

reporting cycle. At the end of our communications you indicated that you were satisfied with the resolution. Please let me know if there is anything further that I can do for you.Sincerely[redacted]Vice President Customer ServiceFreedom Mortgage Corporation

Ms [redacted], upon receipt of your complaint I asked the cash department to review your account. They advised that The January payment was reversed as NSF by your bank (check #398689 SECU) We received a payment on 2/17 which was  a phone payment and that was returned as well as your bank...

stated the "customer revoked payment". The same thing has occurred with your March payment, the bank is telling us the payment was revoked. I am not sure what is happening but I believe that you may need to contact your bank. The account is still due for the 3/1/16 payment. I am sorry that this is occurring but something appears to be at issue with the bank. Perhaps the bank could do a three way call between them, yourself and our servicing center

we cannot do any further lending on the property nor will be buy the loan back.
What we can do is use the renovation funds to pay down the balance and then do
a work out with you for the remaining balance. Our legal department will be

I am rejecting this response because: no all issues have not been resolved, I have called Roseanne and joe M and left multiple messages asking them to call me anytime after 3 pm [redacted] time so we could resolve this issue and I haven't received a single phone call or message from them.  Freedom mortgage just sell my loan to another company so I don't have to deal with this raunchy customer service this issue has been going on since the beginning of November!! Enough is enough!!!! I'm tired of calling and leaving messages and freedom mortgage will not try and resolve this issue!!!!!!!

I am rejecting this response because:
Thank You for responding, but this is the same story I have heard. When I got a email from the credit reporting agency, that keeps a eye on my credit and was informed about the lowering of my credit score, due to sold/transfer of account. No other reason, I have no other credit. I do not appreciate being told that it could be another reason. You should have had all your duck in a row before transferring accounts.

I have been paying on time for some time now and then trying to refi with them I was told my closing date was going to be on the 22nd of September. After a bunch of back and forth them saying I didn't send them something and me saying yes I did and sending it to them again with the original dates it was sent my closing date passes. Now we went into October and still things are coming up and this and that. I told them I would have never started this process if I knew it would go passed the closing date because I had to use mortgage and bill money from October to pay for all the fees and appraisals of refinancing. Well, now we are in November. I was a month behind on payments now but was able to pay for both months and just have no money for the rest of the month. Then I start getting calls and letters saying that the payments I made for July, August, and September were reversed and I owed them that money. I sent in my bank statements showing they were wrong. Today I get a letter in the mail saying my house is going to go into foreclosure next month if I don't pay for those months right away. This is beyond ignorance. What kind of people are allowed to make mistakes like this and still be employed. Maybe I should apply there and never show up. They will probably still pay me.

* Re:       Your Complaint to the Revdex.com             Dear [redacted]
* We have...

reviewed your complaint and researched the issue regarding the payment of the escrow shortage.   While your escrow shortage was received, it was not applied correctly so that your payment would be reduced. Normally, when Freedom Mortgage analyzes an escrow account that contains a shortage, the Borrower is provided with a special payment coupon within the escrow analysis document and instructed to send the shortage amount to a special unit where the shortage is applied and the payment reduced accordingly. Since your analysis was performed by [redacted] prior to the transfer, we were unable to issue these instructions to you.   We have reanalyzed your escrow account and adjusted your monthly payment from $1,157.93 to $1,089.90 effective with the April, 2018 payment. The new escrow analysis will be mailed to you but I have attached a copy for your records. In addition, you will be receiving an escrow surplus check in the amount of $302.81 within the next 10 days which represents the overpayment of the initial escrow shortage payment plus the monthly shortage amounts from the January, February and March payments.   We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.   Sincerely,     Joseph P. Mr. [redacted], Arthur V spoke with you on 12/14 and went over the escrow shortage issue. You and I spoke shortly after that I believe and you advised that the issue with the escrow account was resolved. I do not have any messages from you since then. I do see that your called in to the servicing center on 1/4 with some new concerns and I have asked that they be escalated. Can you please advise what was not addressed, specifically related to this complaint ? Roseanne G

[redacted], thank you for making us aware of this situation. I asked our cash department to research but they stated that they need proof of where the check was sent and that it cleared. So we would need that from either your bank or your bill pay service if you use one. Please feel free to email...

I am rejecting this response because:I disagree with this response whole heartily. The attached FCAR, page 81 details what Freedom Mortgage (Lender) is required to do when reporting "Negative" information to a "Credit Agency" regarding one of its "Customers"(7) Negative Information
(A) Notice to Consumer Required
 (i) In general. If any financial institution that extends credit
and regularly and in the ordinary course of business
furnishes information to a consumer reporting agency
described in section 603(p) furnishes negative information
to such an agency regarding credit extended to a
customer, the financial institution shall provide a notice of
such furnishing of negative information, in writing, to the
customer.
(ii) Notice effective for subsequent submissions. After providing
such notice, the financial institution may submit
additional negative information to a consumer reporting
agency described in section 603(p) with respect to the
same transaction, extension of credit, account, or customer
without providing additional notice to the customer.
(B) Time of Notice
 (i) In general. The notice required under subparagraph (A)
shall be provided to the customer prior to, or no later than
30 days after, furnishing the negative information to a
consumer reporting agency described in section 603(p). The actions of both [redacted] and Freedom Mortgage have caused a ripple effect in personal and professional lives. The mess that has been caused must be fixed. Please not the Department of Justice has been notified about these actions.

Ms. [redacted], I asked our servicing center to review the issue you had. You were on a repayment plan to make up for the payment that you were not able to pay. Below was their response. Also the late charges are included in the plan because the loan is considered lateA repayment...

plan letter was sent to the borrower on June 30, 2014. The plan consisted of one payment of $1750.00 and 5 remaining payments of $1770.58 for a total of $10,602.90. This total included 6 regular mortgage payments of $1,456.44, the "skipped" payment in amount of $1,456.44  which equals = $10195.88. The remaining amount is the late fees in amount of $407.82.While the borrower did pay as agreed, she was still delinquent. We have to report accurately, which is why we have the code which states payment plan. The level of delinquency did not increase, but is reported each month what it was at the time the plan took effect. The idea behind the repayment plan, is that by the end of the plan, the loan will be current. Below is how she was reported: 01/20/2015   01/01/2015 4 11-CURRENT         12/22/2014   12/01/2014 4 11-CURRENT         11/20/2014   11/01/2014 4 11-CURRENT     10/20/2014   09/01/2014 4 71-30 DAYS D     AC-PARTL PYMT AGREE   09/22/2014   08/01/2014 4 71-30 DAYS D     AC-PARTL PYMT AGREE   08/20/2014   07/01/2014 4 71-30 DAYS D     AC-PARTL PYMT AGREE   07/21/2014   06/01/2014 4 71-30 DAYS D     AC-PARTL PYMT AGREE   [redacted]Vice President Customer ServiceFreedom Mortgage corporation

First, my loan was transferred/bought by Freedom Mortgage. I was doing fine with my previous lender but I guess they wanted to buy my loan.
The first thing I noticed was how difficult it was to set up an automatic payment through their website. It says I have to pay off my balance due first before I can set up auto pay. This is fishy because you can't auto-pay your current balance...which to me is just fishy. If you pay your balance, it takes 3-5 days to go through but then at that point you forget.
I forgot one payment and this sent my credit rating down 100 points. They charged a late fee that took 2 months to settle...and they didn't even tell me the result of the late fee. Just some dumb letter in the mail that says "We appreciate you contacting us about your late fee" and nothing about the result. It's a money making scheme for sure.
Everytime I try to set up auto-pay the website refuses. I'm afraid to send checks through the mail because my friends have had issue with them "receiving" checks. Claiming they never got them or taking 2 months to process so they can charge you a late fee.
Additionally, they send you all this junk mail about your balance and what not but no emails! Every payment you make, they waste money by sending you a notice that you paid...an email is better. Customer service stinks too. They send you through different people trying to resolve your issue yet nothing is done. 1 hour of useless talk.
They are only getting my business because my previous lender, [redacted], chose to ship my loan off to Freedom Mortgage.

Ms. [redacted], I do apologize that your had a frustrating experience. The vast majority of our loan applications move forward without a hitch so I am sorry to hear about your experience. The letter that you had received most likely was sent in error as we had extended the rate lock on your loan. I am...

sorry that we were not able to close the loan for you and I will be refunding the appraisal fee to your credit card.
Sincerely

Mr. [redacted], I do apologize for the frustration you experienced regarding your tax exempt status and the adjustments required on your account. The account has since been analyzed and the exemption for the taxes is not reflected. You received a refund from the title company ion the amount of...

1303.00 and we sent the balance due you of 254.85. Any late charges were waived and the account was not reported as delinquent.[redacted]Vice President Customer ServiceFreedom Mortgage Corporation
