The previous visit was ok but this rep was a total disaster. He seemed clueless about what needed to be done and he asked for signature even before he looked at the item.
He took a brief look at the washer, spent some time on his phone and then asked for signature stating that the washer had physical damage. No signature was given because he gave no diagnosis relating to the problem. He walked out abruptly leaving the tray for the washer out despite him being asked to replace it.

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE,TERRIBLE! My dishwasher is still not working and they are not calling me back to come and look at it. OMG! How do they stay in business? This is beyond horrible! Samsung sucks in making appliances and now they have hired this company as their repair specialist! I rely on Revdex.com for honest reporting. I know why they are not on the Revdex.com list. They are horrible! I've already paid them for repairs and it is not fixed! Give them an F!

GARBAGE COMPANY!! DO NOT USE!!

I was assigned this company after another company came up and refused to fix my dryer because there was no serial sticker on the front of the dryer. Corporate Lowes apologizedâ?? profusely for the other repair tech leaving like that. The store also apologized for the whole mishap.

Friends Tek, called to make an appointment where I made sure three times that they were going to send out two techs. They confirmed and reassured me that two techs would be present. I took off yet another day of work to receive a tech. When the tech arrived there was only one. I asked him, "isn't there supposed to be 2 techs?" To which he responded, "I am 2 techs." I guess this was his attempt at humor. When we got into the condo he took one look at the unit and said he couldn't do that he would need two techs. He called his boss and verbally admitted he was supposed to bring two techs but didn't becauseâ?? he didn't think he would need two, despiteâ?? his work order specifically stating 2 techs would be needed. They attempted to reschedule again claiming they could not support the order that day.

THIS COMPANY WILL NOT RESPECT YOUR TIME!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND DO NOT USE THEM. LAZY CORNER CUTTING FRAUDS!

Friends Tek didn't put my microwave back together properly.
This company was called out by Samsung to repair my microwave that was in warranty (manufactured in 1/2017) so not even a year old. . The microwave was deemed as not repairable because the tech couldn't figure out why it was making noise. He stated that it still worked but it had noise and he was going to put it back up on the wall and Samsung would call me to replace the microwave. He didn't put the microwave back up on the wall because he stripped the screws. He stated that he was going to find screws and left my home and came back to my home a while later with screws from his office and still wasn't able to put the microwave back up. He left the microwave sitting on my hardwood floors in the kitchen. I asked him what am I suppose to about this and he told me to call Samsung and don't get off the phone until they gave me what I want. So after looking at the microwave on my floor I realized that the reason why he couldn't put it back where it was suppose to be was because he did not put it back together properly so it was no grooves for the screw to go in on the right side. This company shouldn't be doing business period if they don't have techs that are capable of completing the job without screwing up they should not be doing business for Samsung. The tech also took the screws to the microwave that he stripped. I cant get anyone on the phone to discuss this matter and this seems to be a issue with this company of tearing up your appliances. This needs to be rectified period. The tech did not do his job and he wanted to blame Samsung after spending over 2 hours at my home. It is the holiday and now I have no microwave and a hole in my wall. This company should not be in business. My ticket number is ***. This incident occured on 11/14/2017.

Desired Outcome

Complete the job. Make me as the consumer whole. When the tech came the microwave wasnt on the floor it was on the wall. That's where it needs to be and I don't care if he has to take the microwave apart several times it needs to be like it was before he destroyed it.

This is our (FriendsTek) official response to the case regarding *** Revdex.com Case # ***We understand the frustration regarding the microwave that was deemed unrepairable by our Samsung Certified technician and by Samsung Technical Support representative (***). The noise and buzzing sound was coming from the unit. Our technician diagnosed the unit and found out the sound was coming from the HV transformer. Although, our technician did replace this part the buzzing sound was still persistent. Our technician then called Samsung Technical Support to report the issue and stated that the noise only disappears when the rear panel chassis is pressed while using the microwave. The Samsung tech support representative stated that the chassis is a not a replaceable part and advised the technician to leave the microwave without installing it back on the wall. Our technician did provide the customer with a 7000 case number for the exchange/refund of their unrepairable unit.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)First off the technician was told to put the microwave back where he took it off from and not to leave it on the floor due to the fact I have hardwood floors and little children. The reason why the tech could not put it back is because he stripped the screws. Not only did he strip the screws, he also left to go to the office to find replacement screws and didn't return the screws that were on my microwave. So if I wanted to put it back up until I received another one I could not. It's the holiday season. He told me to call Samsung. That was his answer for everything. He wasn't capable of telling us what was wrong and wasn't clear on what the decision was. The sad part is that he put the microwave up twice before deciding it was unrepairable. To me unrepairable meant that you stripped the screws so there is no way to put the microwave up with those screws he stripped. I still have one screw and that is proof that he stripped them. And incapable of putting the microwave back together properly. The sad part is that the company would actually send back a response like this especially since myself and Samsung have tried to call the company and we haven't been successful at getting anyone on the phone. These calls were made the same day of service and the next day after. This is the reason why this company has such poor reviews the service is horrible and not to mention that they tear up your appliances. No regards for what the consumers asked of them. So please be better at customer service and serve the consumers in a way that you receive better reviews and not a D. Horrible horrible experience to say the least.
