I called to cancel my services with Frontier and wanted it cancelled on the September 23, 2019 and I was informed from customer services they could not cancel my services on the date I requested. They only cancel services on the last day of your billing cycle. Well I will not be living or accessing there services on October 02, 2019 due to the I have to be moved out on September 25, 2019. So they are going to be billing me for 8 days of services and that I no longer have access to. So to me a consumer they are stealing money. I don't see how they can you bill for services that you did not use or even have access too.

We just received a full charge email of $57.99 for the service we did not receive. I called Frontier this morning and was told that our record, notes, history and credits mentioned were completely removed. We were told to justify why we needed a credit by sending in proof via fax.

I signed up with Frontier this summer and had service for a week and then my service went out. I was without service for week before a service technician was able to come out. He told me my connection had been cut at the Frontier office accidentally and he fixed it. I called in to speak to a representative about lowering my bill for the Inconvenience and was told they would take $42.54 off the bill so I paid the remaining balance. The next month the bill still showed the $42.54 so I called again and was told to disregard that amount, that it shouldn't have been on the bill and that they would make a note in my account in case it mistakenly showed up again on next months bill. The $42.54 was indeed on the next bill and once again I'll n I called and was told to disregard that amount and pay the balance so I did. The next month it showed up again and had accrued late fees. I called again and was told that only $40 of the $42.54 was approved and that the representative would waive $19.14 to combat the late fees. The $19.14 was removed but not the $40 so I called again and was told the $40 was not approved and that they could only remove $19.14. I am extremely dissatisfied that through Fronteirs own fault my service was disconnected and then I was being given inaccurate information regarding my account so I was not compensated the $42.54 they told me and was then charged late fees and had to deal with the headache of monthly phone calls to try and resolve this issue.

We've had multiple billing issues with this company and are clearly being robbed. We have bank statements proving that we pay our bill each month. Finally, we got a 1 page bill in the mail for an obscene amount of $992. We were turned off yesterday morning so we contacted Frontier. The "Supervisor" in collections Stephanie badge # *** was zero help and kept referring to the month of March. How is that possible when we paid April and there was no service issues, May no service issues, June no service issues. Then she tried saying that there was a return payment of almost $800 which is not on our bank statement. She stated that we had payments set up that were NEVER setup by us. We've gone weeks without a house phone because of their service issues. Our internet is definitely not the speed that we've been paying for. There's just way to much stuff to type and with all due respect, is quite infuriating. My 12 year old son was diagnosed with a rare heart condition called Hypertrophic-Obstructive Cardiomyopathy and access to both a landline and internet for video conferencing with his Pediatric Cardiologist, who is in Boston, is very crucial. We had *** before this and only switched to Frontier because they literally knocked on our door everyday for weeks. Their sales pitch was that we were in a perfect area near some sort of booster which could feed other houses so our house was perfect for their company. They told us that we would pay $99 a month for the same triple play that *** was giving us for twice the amount. The lie detector shows that that was a lie! How they could just shut someone with a medical condition off without doing a proper investigation seems quite unethical.
Thank you for referring the complaint of Ms. *** to our office for review. We appreciate Ms. bringing this matter to our attention.

I cancelled my internet service with Frontier on August 22, 2019, by calling their customer service number , and spending 9 minutes and 32 seconds on the phone with them. The reason for cancelling was I was moving but also I was at the end of my contract with them. I updated my billing address to my new address with the person I spoke to. I was told they would ship me a box to return the internet router back to them, which I was renting monthly and billed for on my monthly bill. To date, I received no box and when I went on the website to look at my account, in the service order history, I see on Aug 22nd that an order was completed to upgrade my internet service to 200mb instead of a cancellation of service!! By the way, the upgrade of my service took place months earlier so this is clearly fraud. There was no record of Frontier having mailed me a box when I went to the location on the site to re-request return box to be sent to me. I received a bill dated 9/8/2019 from Frontier with new charges of $12.81 (my normal service charge was around $80 per month. The charges were for "OTHER SERVICE CHARGES AND CREDITS" under "FTR SECURE BB $5 CREDIT" (I was charged $2.00), and "Residential Broadband Processing Fee" for $9.99.

They do not provide the service they say at all internet speeds are awful and when you call and complain they just try to swindle you into a "better package" never resolving the issue. I was a 4 year customer. thank god I finally moved to a place where I could get another provider. When I finally had enough of there terrible service I called to end my services and the guy I was put on the phone with was the most disrespectful person I have ever spoken to in my life he even DEMANDED I tell him who my new provider was or he wouldn't end my services finally after 10 minutes of fighting with this man over the phone and being talked to like I was nothing I had enough and hung up and called back. I ended up in the end being stuck with a bill of an early termination fee for a contract I didn't even sign up for and multiple other charges. Even though they couldn't provide the services that I paid YEARS for. I can't believe a company is allowed to demand you tell them things or they wont end your services this should not even be legal. DO NOT EVER GET THIS SERVICE STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Frointer disconnected my internet for nk reason then turned around and said that I asked for it to be disconnected, im a pretty mellow person so when I tried to get it turned back on I was told I had to pay an early termination fee to have it turned back on of course I saw this to be bs but took the path of least resistance because my family wanted the internet on as soon as possible.... I was told September 11th that my internet would be up in 24 hours September 13th came around still no interent incalled again in one day they set me up with 3 different accounts, none of which where what I previously had I was promised the following Monday September 16th my internet would be back on. Monday comes and im still waiting I call again I get a pigish man on the phone who is flirting with me the whole call and all I want is my interent on he promises me he got it taken care of this time the internet will be forsure be up and working Thursday September 19th the tech will be at my house somewhere between 8 am and 12pm ..... its 2pm on Thursday no technician has come to my house around 1230 I called frointer and they told me they would figure it out they instead hungup on me. I called again I am noe told that they order never went all the way through but they never notified me the coustmer of this, they no longet have the same package to what I previously had available so I will have to pay the same amount but instead of getting 25 ill be getting 18 and they wont be able to get my internet up and running until Tuesday September 24th. Over all I have spent a toatl of 9.5hrs on the phone with this company in the last week and still nothing has been resolved. And don't even ask to speak to managmnet they give you the run around send you to dead end numbers or bounce you back and forth between agents.
I live in northern Illinois, we had a lightning storm on Tuesday, Sept 17 at 1:45 am. Lightning hit somewhere on Frontiers line and it traveled through the phone line coming into the house and blew the modem and our phone apart. I was told a tech would be here on sept.12th, no one showed up or called, then was told again on the 13th, 16th, 18th, 19th and again all theses days there was a no show and no calls or text. I have been consistently lied to because I'm being told the tech has notified me, by what the customer service is saying. I'm told again there will be one here tomorrow. I have been without internet for 9 days now and this isn't the first time this has happen. The time before (2 months ago) no one ever showed up, but thankfully the internet came back on. I have seen techs in the next town over (10 miles away) driving around, was told on the 16 th they would come when they got in the area even if it was before the scheduled date. CS says the tech writes on his end, for some unforeseen reason they weren't able to meet all their schedules and that's when I'm rescheduled. I have always had to call to find out when the next schedule is, no one had ever called me, including the supervisor who was suppose to call me back on the 13th and to this day still hasn't!

Asked to have the Frontier Secure Personal Multi-Device Protection removed from my account when I first noticed it. They never removed it, and when I go to cancel, there is an early termination fee. My Frontier internet service stopped working at the end of November 2018. I tried to work with Frontier to get it working and ended up going with a new internet service provider. I started with Xfinity December 6th of 2018. I tried to cancel numerous times with Frontier and kept getting bills. After many attempts I would only speak to a supervisor and twice even that did not work after being assured it was taken care of. By the way, I asked for a confirmation email and was told they could not do that. I just set up a phone service for an elderly uncle with Frontier and notice when I called the automated line it acted like I was a customer. After I taking care of setting up my uncle's phone at the assisted living facility, I asked to see what what going on with my old account. I was informed it has gone to collections for an amount over $500.

I had frontier communications install a phone line system in my temporary business space. Upon moving to our new location on 7/17/19 I contacted them to move my phone system. Frontier has made excuses, will not respond, and will not let me reach a supervisor to complain. Frontier has cost me business and thousands of dollars of day because my customers are not able to contact me.
Frontier records reflect Mr. called on 04/16/19 requesting new service. An order was created to establish residential phone and internet service effective 04/24/19. A review of the call found that the customer mentioned that this number would be for a business; however, the agent set it up as residential service. This has been addressed as a training issue.
Mr. called on 06/13/19 requesting a 2nd line for a fax machine at the same location. An order was created to add a 2nd residential line effective 06/17/19.
On 07/25/19 orders were created to establish 4 business lines for Horn Rapids RV at a different service address effective 07/29/19. A technician was dispatched on 07/29/19 who found no facilities available and referred the order to Engineering. Engineering noted the order that this is a new development and it needs facilities, therefore an engineering job was needed.
Engineering has advised that the project for this job was approved on 08/19/19. A Right of Way Permit application was sent to the City of Richland of 08/23/19. The permit was received on 08/29/19. Our contractor was notified on 08/29/19 that the permit was received and the project was ready to work. The contractor advised that they have started this job and anticipate having it completed by October 3rd or sooner if possible.
Contacts were made with Mr. to advise of the delays on 07/31/19, 08/20/19 and 08/30/19.
Frontier apologizes to the customer that we didn’t meet his timeline expectations. No compensation will be provided for lost business. Per Frontier’s Terms and Conditions for Business Services, in part, in no event will Frontier or its affiliates be liable for any lost profits or business opportunities, or for any other special, indirect or consequential damages, even if advised of the possibility therefore.
Mr. may want to consider a temporary cell phone or use the phone number at the old location until the new location is ready. Calls can be forwarded from the old location to a cell phone.
When I called and set up the internet services the customer service lady I spoke with told me I was being put on the highest plan they had for my area. The bill they sent me shows that same information. The first week they set it up there was no signal being sent to my house at all. They sent the tech back out he did something so I thought it was working. The third tech they sent to my house informed me that instead of being sent the amount of internet that I was being billed for I was only getting sent their lowest package, while still being billed for the original package. The services were not what I was being charged for and also were not working properly at all. It worked for 2 days at the end of the month after the last technician came out and then shut off again. I have not once received the internet that they told me I would or that I am being billed for.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This was never in regards to my mother's account. It was my personal account. The representative that aet my package up told me that I was getting a specific speed and never once told me that it may not actually be what they were going to charge me for. I called multiple times trying to see what was wrong with it, why it wasn't working, and the try and get technical help. I do not believe it is right for me to have to pay for services that I was told I was getting but never received.
Regards
Frontier additional review in response to the rejection determined issues were found related to internet service. Frontier applied full credit of $138.12 to clear the balance. This credit will appear on the final bill November 2019. Frontier trusts this information will assist you in closing this complaint.
I have been a customer of frontier internet service for a few years now. They are the only internet service available at my residence. My wifi connection had never been the greatest through frontier but I was at least able to use it for the most part. However, since the beginning of August, I have rarely had a connection. I have called numerous times and spend a lot of my time on the phone with the company only for my issue to be resolved for a day or two. They ate still chasing me for the service yet I cannot use it. Each customer service rep. That I have spoke with tells me something different and they never know what is going on with my account. When I requested compensation I received a $2.80 credit on my bill. I would like my internet services fixed and reliable. The company has done nothing to ensure this. I need this service for my online college classes.

Service was shut off on August 8th, was supposed to be 110 dollars for service return , when I went to pay was told it was 176 ,a month was added but no one can tell why, plus another 56 for deposit since they terminated our account. I didn't have more than 110 so told them I would pay at end of month since they now wanted more. 2 hours later they take out 176 from our bank account. I called back because I did not authorize any payment was told they would do reversal and it would take 3 business days. 3 days go by still nothing back in my account I call back and talk to Vinn he tells me in will be 5 days. 5 days go by I call back now it's going to be 7 . I want my money back they caused our account to be overdrawn and continue to tell us something different Everytime we call! Those calls are supposed to be recorded ,noone authorized for any payment.

The Complaint states that:
Mr. advises that his service was shut off on August 8, 2019 and was to be $110.00 for service return back on and when he went to pay he was told it was $176.00. Mr. advises that a month was added but no one could tell him why plus he would need to pay a $56.00 deposit since the service was terminated. Mr. advises that he could not pay the amount until the end of the month since it was a higher amount and two hours later Frontier takes $176.00 from his bank account which he did not authorize and was told they would do a reversal and it would take three business days to get it back to his account and then three days passed and nothing has been returned. Mr. advises that he wants his money back because it caused his account to be overdrawn. Frontier has investigated the above statements and offers the following response:
Frontier investigated and advises that Mr.’s account was set up on automatic payments for a payment to be taken on the day before the due date each month. The payment was taken on September 12, 2019 for $172.37 and was for the months of July, August and September 2019.
Frontier advises that there were multiple requests for a payment reversal but the payment had not posted to the account so it did not go forward and process.
Frontier advises that a payment reversal refund of $69.69 was scheduled for October 2, 2019 and the confirmation number is 2467023 and will be credited back to his online bill pay method payment in approximately three to five business days.

I lost service to my internet, landline, cable after contacting them they told me that they can’t send a tech out to service the equipment until the 26th of September. That’s a whole week out with out service. When I call back to see if there was anyway they can expedite my request they appear to act as if I was asking for a lot to have my service back on in a timely matter. My job is completely done from home and having this service interrupted for a week is not acceptable.
Frontier has investigated the above statements and offers the following response:
Frontier received a report of service issues on September 19, 2019.
Frontier isolated programming issues and restored services on September 25, 2019.
Frontier issued appropriate credit to Ms.’s account for the reported time out of service.
Frontier spoke with Ms. on September 27, 2019 and advised of the above.
We trust that this information will assist you in closing this complaint. We apologize for any inconvenience that Ms. has experienced as a result of the above matter.
I canceled my cable and internet service with Frontier on 7/19/2019, which is also the first day of the billing cycle. I was told by a CSR that I will NOT have to pay the entire month of service. However, I have received a bill each month since I canceled. Now Frontier sent me a past due notice threatening to send my case to collections.
I have called 4 times to rectify this issue. I have spent roughly 10 hours of my life trying to solve this seemingly easy issue. They refuse to correct it. I told them I am more than willing to pay for that one day of service but not $237 for 30 days of service I did not use!
This now could potentially effect my credit score. I just want to end this nightmare.
Frontier has investigated the above statements and offers the following response:
Frontier advises on July 17, 2019 Mr. requested to disconnect services and agreed to disconnect at the end of his billing cycle (Mr.’s’ cycle was the 19th of the month); due to consultant error Mr. was incorrectly advised the end of cycle was the 19th and disconnection occurred on July 19, 2019 into the new cycle.
Frontier has issued appropriate credit to Mr.’s account leaving account balance owing due to Frontier as $13.56.
Frontier spoke with Mr. on September 20, 2019 and advised of the above.

We purchased the business located at this address from the previous owner on May 31st, 2019 taking over business as of June 1st, 2019. During the transition, the previous owner called Frontier Communications to transfer ownership of the business account to us. He put me on the phone with a representative of Frontier who asked me if I wanted to take ownership of the account, to which I indicated that I needed details about what that relationship entailed. I was told that the monthly costs of approximately $90/mo would be my responsibility for Telephone and Internet services. I agreed that I wanted to proceed on that basis (the previous owner corroborated his pricing and provided proof of this with a copy of his bill). The Frontier representative told me that if, for some reason, I chose not to continue doing business with Frontier that "some termination fees MAY apply." I was told that they would be "minor fees" and nothing to worry about. The timing of when these would apply and the actual amounts were NOT DISCLOSED TO ME. No other information was shared with me whatsoever, and I hung up the call. The previous owner provided me with a paper agreement to transfer the account ownership, which he and I both signed. This agreement did not provide any detail, it only contained language stating that I was taking ownership of the Frontier account and that I agreed to do so.
Approximately 6 weeks later we received a bill for over $300, at which point I called to speak with Frontier about the incorrect bill. I was told that I agreed to take ownership and that the bill was my responsibility, there was no error and that if I chose not to do business with Frontier that a total of more than $3600 in termination fees would apply to my account. Dumbfounded, I tried to explain that there must be an error and I never agreed to any of this. The representative said that they could not help me and would refer my case to a supervisor, who would return my call in a few days.
Two days later I received a call from a "supervisor at Frontier communications, calling about a potential billing error." Before speaking with the supervisor I asked if the call could or would be recorded and was told "no, these calls are never recorded." I asked how I could prove that the agreement we discuss on the phone could be legally binding and was told "you'll have to trust me." He explained that he had reviewed the call logs from my initial conversation, and "yes, I was correct that no other information was discussed than a $90/mo charge for Telephone and Internet service. However, those prices only apply to customers who signed a multi-year contract with Frontier with disclosed early termination fees and that I HAD NOT SIGNED ANY CONTRACT WITH FRONTIER AND WAS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THAT PRICING UNLESS I SIGNED A SERVICE CONTRACT WITH FRONTIER." I declined to sign any contract on the basis that the business was untrustworthy, predatory, and possibly breaking the law. I was told that the full service pricing of more than $300/mo would then apply, and I would be liable for thousands of dollars if I did not agree. I declined and hung up.
I immediately called another provider and signed up for replacement services, then immediately called to cancel services from Frontier. Again, I was told that termination fees would apply and that they may be several thousands of dollars if I cancel. I explained to the representative that I was not liable for charges, I never signed any binding contract and do not wish to sign up with Frontier for any services. The representative would not help me and I hung up. The replacement services started August 13, 2019.
The telephone and internet services from Frontier were unreliable and out of service for several days, but this was the least of my problems at the time, because my only focus was on cancelling all business with Frontier as quickly as physically possible.
I have never paid any money to Frontier, and the bill I received today, September 19th, is $1073.44 for service from June 1 - August 12, 2019. Based on our verbal agreement, I should owe $180 for services from June 1 - July 31, 2019 + $36 for August 1 - 12 for a total payment of $216.
Based on the fact that I did not sign any contracts with Frontier, I do not believe that any termination fees should apply. As a new customer, this is simply not an acceptable experience for which I am willing to pay any more than our minimum agreed upon pricing for services.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not fully resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
My original complaint (and current response) can be summarized in two parts:
1) Frontier failed to uphold our agreement on pricing. - Frontier has acknowledged this in their response and recently issued appropriate credits (which I accept, but have not yet received proof that they actually credited the bill), but no consumer should be required to file a Revdex.com complaint to get their bill corrected.
2) Due to Frontier's failure to uphold our pricing agreement in a timely manner (and also due to the fact that I was repeatedly threatened by their representatives with excessive illegitimate charges as explained in my original complaint), I was forced to take my business to a competitor, which resulted in additional termination charges from Frontier. Full culpability for those charges rests entirely with Frontier for their failure to uphold our pricing agreement, as well as their threatening response to my legitimate customer service complaints. - Frontier continues to maintain that I owe them termination charges because I took my business elsewhere. I acknowledge that I made the choice to stop doing business with Frontier as a result of these issues, and I firmly maintain my position that Frontier cannot possibly expect me to pay for their mistakes, and I will not.

Frontier terms and conditions states an Early Termination Fee is assessed when a term is not completed. Frontier billing concerns were addressed for disputes and all applicable credits have been issued to the account to honor the rate of service that was agreed upon.
Frontier advises, discounts were applied to the account which reduced the rate of service due to the term the customer agreed. Frontier confirmed the customer was advised of term and agreed to the contract, therefore no credit is warranted for the Early Termination Fee. We trust this information will assist you in closing this complaint.
they have just added a $123 charge to my monthly bill for no good reason, there wasn't anything different in my service at the last billing period, I called them and they promised to me to remove the charge, but they didn't remove the charge instead they charged my card on file for the monthly charge plus another $123.
