This is the worst internet service provider I have ever had. It took them multiple attempts to install, partially because they didn't even know *** was available in my building. After they installed the service on the third try, we started getting overcharged. Four months and a couple dozen calls later, I am still being overcharged. DO NOT USE FRONTIER.

I was fed up with *** and looked into Frontier for television. I was happy with my phone and internet service from Frontier so I assumed TV would be of equal quality. I have no complaint about the quality of the TV service, my HUGE issue is the cost! I had received a promotional postcard and that is what made me look into switching TV service. However, I was told the promotion was for new customers only, but they could do a deal for me. I was quoted a price of $123 per month, all inclusive, that being phone, internet, TV, AND the two TV receiver boxes. Taxes and fees would add an extra cost. This was in April. Every month I receive a bill for $184 and have to call customer service to get my bill corrected. They always tell me the amount on their screen is what was quoted me, but billing is taken care of in a different department. After 15 minutes the issue is resolved for the monthly billing, only to have to go through the entire process again each month. I wrote to the company and received a nasty letter back saying the $184 is the correct amount and it wasn't their fault I was quoted an incorrect price initially! Had I know the price would be so much, I would not have switched from ***. Now I am stuck because I can't afford the fee to switch back to ***. Although the TV reception is much better than ***, I would not recommend to anyone to switch to Frontier for TV service based on the cost, as this seems to be very much a bait and switch process they follow. Tell you a price you can't refuse, then not stand by the price without having to fight about it every month.

I have been a Frontier customer for TWO months and opted out today, going back to ***! Reasons are as follows:
*They lied to me about my package, i.e., internet speed, amount of TV channels, and no contract.
*I was promised a $400.00 gift card ... didn't happened;
*I was told no contract ... opting out after two months and have to pay a fee of $176.00; and
*Lastly, product poor and the customer service is terrible.
STAY WITH YOUR CURRENT PROVIDER ... STAY AWAY FROM FRONTIER!
Note: Cancelled my account of which will go into effective 30 September ... Going back to ***!

They did not show up on the day they had scheduled to, the next day they sent the wrong kind of technician. Now they are saying they can't come for another week. Absolutely the worst and most incompetent customer service I have ever dealt with.

When Frontier took over for [redacted] land line phone service, the improvement came fairly quickly. Since that time, service has continued to go down while cost of service went up. Now, if you call for technical support, you get a foreigner that can barely speak English. They ask for 5 security questions like someone hacking your phone service is going to complain that service is bad. They then proceed to pretend to listen, and then when they tell you what you have told them, they are completely wrong. You can do this 5 times before they hear you. Then, they tell you it will be SIX days before a technician will call to of course want to check you home system out first. 16 years and they have never found a problem inside my house. CUTTING THE CORD!

Over the past 20 ears internet I see being usefull important and helpful for not just businesses but residents. My complaint of scam is cause frontier 3 days out a week of 6 post mail service days. When I gethere enveloped advertises saying they now have high speed dsl in my address and so ill call them so I work on my speach any ways and they keep telling me no sorry but we dont cover you with there services n ow also I hate that they say but we have satellite internet in your area n my research abiut sattelite is that its good if you need for a email to send now open a email can be a different storry so again my home and my area in live has also there own ground ports that say frontier on them well ill walk by one and call frontier they have asked me this too whats a port number you see on the square box poles on the edge by the rds and then they tell me my full coverage of what I have I can only get telephone well I dont want that if I cant even get internet yet cause im tired of there false advertising I mean again frontier needs to give us future customers a non scam or lie

Review: Asked for a copy of the contract terms to be e-mailed to me. Told I'd have to wait for the first bill to see what I'd agreed to. Specifically asked what the monthly bill would be. Each CS Rep. gave a different answer. LIARS is the nicest terms I can use. A pattern of lying is the only consistent thing about Frontier Communication.Desired Settlement: Contract termination without malice.

Frontier Comm. uses the term "inconsistant information" to describe what I call lying. My decision to accept services from Frontier Comm. was based on false info provided by them. An offer from them to terminate services is now the only acceptable resolution.

The business practice by Frontier Comm. for itself and Dish Network is fraudlent. A reasonable offer to terminate service is the only acceptable action from Frontier Comm.
