Switched to FSI last year from a competitor whose prices were outrageous. When looking into a new dealer the people at FSI were extremely helpful, explaining all services offered, prices, etc. I was so impressed with FSI that I never called any other company, and so far I have not been disappointed. I also signed up for the yearly preventative maintenance programs for my furnace, hot water heater, and air conditioner. At all times, the technicians were prompt, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what they were doing (or did) and answered any questions I might have had. I also have automatic delivery for my propane so I never have to worry about running out. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a new fuel dealer. Wayne H

We have used Fuel Services ever since it acquired Lou's Oil in Westfield. We continue with them because of our experience for immediate service attention when an emergency arises, and sound advice about heating issues and efficiency ideas. Competent and friendly folks.
Our oil delivery man went far beyond the norm delivering on our icy, hilly driveway - he had to drag the hose almost all the way out to reach the house. Thank you!

An awesome company filled with helpful caring people. We had a lengthy episode of heating failures last year that they patiently handled without complaint. They are very professional and take every possible way to help their customers. They are the nicest fuel oil company I have ever dealt with in the past thirty-plus years. Fuel Services is wonderful, we have been using them longer than I can remember. They are honest, sincere, knowledgeable, available 24/7, strives for 100% customer satisfaction. Their office staff is friendly, knowledgeable, quick to answer the phone, conscientious, strives for 100% customer satisfaction too, if they don't know the answer to your question you are connected to someone who does, a message to a tech on a job has always been answered as soon as possible. I've been with Fuel Services for at least 16 years. Never had a bad experience. They have installed a furnace, central air, switched us over to propane, and recently installed a gas fireplace. Top quality and great service. I highly recommend them.
This company is just fabulous. From the automatic delivery system to the staff themselves this company is just a pleasure to do business with.
I encountered some problems with my stove originally and the technician from Fuel Service stepped in with the retailer, straightened out the problem for me and everything has been great since. They are even careful where they put their hose during delivery so my landscaping isn't damaged.
I've been a customer of FSI for more than 20 years, my parents were as well. Office staff always friendly and helpful, and technicians have always done a great job whether it was for my yearly furnace cleaning or an emergency call. 5-ð??? service all the time.

Service charges, misrep and poor billing.
On 10/3/19 this company did some service on my furnace. They change three parts out with limited info and mislead me to believe that the cost would be around $300. However, once the job was done and we want out to his truck, the job came out to over 580 He could not give me a detail bill nor explain were he was getting the $580 from. During the service he told me that one of parts had not been change in years, even though this company had done service to this part and had told me they remove it 6 months prior.
$100 refund.
cust is a paylessforoil discount oil customer. in jan 2019 we diagnosed cust problems but cust. declined repairs stating "could get on amazon cheaper". cust contacted us again in Oct 2019 at which time was diagnosed with additional repairs needed. cust had been resetting their equipment multiple times which caused a buildup of oil that needed to be safely burnt off by a licensed tech. Prior to making repairs ALL customers must SIGN preauthorization for work. He was quoted for the repairs PLUS the diagnostic fee. That is what he was charged.

The above is not true. I paid for a diagnoses, but when the tech made the diagnoses and told me what the parts were going to cost these numbers change when the service call was completed. In additional he did not tell me the labor charge that want along with the part, he just imply it. No estimate was given, nor signature until after the job was completed. Everything was verbal and done after the fact, a switch and bait. I guess the MA AG will need to get involve also...
We will be crediting this CLOSED acct the 100.00...this acct was terminated after this customers contact with our female CSR's was with profanity and sexual innuendo, which is UNACCEPTABLE. If it was discussed with a manager rather than with threats to our employees it would have been resolved in a more efficient manner. We take pride in our business and always make every attempt to work with our customers. We also care about every employee and will not allow them to be threatened. As stated this account will be credited and then re-closed. Thank you.

Yes, this resolution is acceptable should the business provides a credit of $100, but there was no sexual innuendo communicated to this company or their staff other than frustration with their business practices and or their miscommunication between staff members. I will consider this matter close once the credit is given.
