John Geer stated that he is an inspector for the Better Contractor's Bureau. I have since learned that there is no such position. Prior to coming to my home, he gave me an estimate of around $1000. Based on that, I rejected another contractor's estimate of around $1300. MrGeer stated that his price is competitive. He cited the prices of a contractor by the name of ***. I have since learned that ***'s rate is $per hour. Since John Geer's crew was here for approximately hour, his price is clearly not competitive
MrGeer is misrepresenting himself and providing completely erroneous estimates over the phone. His business practices are unethical and the public should be protected from contractors such as he. The other contractors who are currently doing remodeling work on my home are especially upset by his practices because they feel that he tarnishes the reputation of all contractors and makes it especially difficult for them to do business. They are feeding me some of the data that I cite in my complaint. The Revdex.com is remiss if they do not take action to protect the public from this man's conduct
