I entered into a contract with Ganser to install new gutters and the fascia behind the gutters in April of and paid 1/of the contracted cost I understand companies can get busy but by June of I was concerned as I could neither reach Tyler (the sales rep I signed the contract with and who I gave the deposit check to) nor could I get responses from their office (the most response that I got was that someone would call me at some time in the next two weeks (which never occurred.) The property where the gutters were being installed is my rental property (single family home) and I mentioned that I needed to give the tenants advance notice about the work being completed When the workers showed up one morning after I left for work, I did get a call from them as they were at the site (nice advanced warning.) After calling the tenants and explaining, I decided to meet the workers at the home to make sure we were all on the same page I walked through the project referencing the contract description and specifically pointed to a section where fascia was to be installed (which I verified with Tyler during the quote process) and I thought all was fine I returned to work When I returned, not only was the area I specifically asked about had no fascia installed, but the workers bent out the new drip edge to slide the fascia behind and they did not knock it back down I tried calling the Ganser office and Tyler and again, only could leave messages A week later, Tyler called me to collect the balance of the contracted amount I met him at the site and showed him the missing fascia location and the bent drip edge He took many pictures and said that someone would be back to correct this He still wanted me to write a check I stated that I would write a check for 1/of the balance, but I would not pay the full amount until the work was completed They did not waste any time cashing the check, but the work has not been completed and it is now August of I tried calling Tyler (could only leave a message) and I tried calling their main number (get a call center) and tried communicating with the online chat through their website That rep stated he would get me connected to someone in that office and guess what - I got an answering machine and left a message I would never ever recommend this business to anyone looking for roofing or gutter work They are extremely difficult to get through to and use a call center to buffer contact with the clients

We sustained hail damage on our roof and called Ganser Company and one other local business to do an estimate for our roof We had already received insurance approval and had a generous check in hand ready to start the work From the get go we had planned on going with Ganser, but called the other company for the sake of having at least one comparison estimate We were able to get an appointment approximately days after we called, which was fine The individual who scheduled the appointment said that both my husband and I had to be home for the appointmentThis is somewhat challenging as I work days and my husband works nights and we have a young child with a significant special needs who has a lot of therapies Nonetheless, we rearranged our work schedules so that we could both be home at PM to meet with MikeIt was also requested that we have our attic be accessible as the estimator would want to go into the attic to further inspect the roofWe have a very large storage closet which is where access to the attic is, nonetheless I spent over an hour taking everything off the shelves and removing the shelves so that it would be assessable as requested At 6:there was still no sign of Mike so I called Ganser Company A young woman answered the phone giggling as it seemed she forgot what the name of the company was when answering the phone and you could hear a man in the background was coaching her on what to sayI assume she was in training The gentleman then took over the phone call and was not sure of the whereabouts of Mike but confirmed that indeed we were scheduled at PM He raised the question that perhaps he got stuck in trafficAs I shared with the gentleman, I would think that he would call if he was more than minutes late for an appointment? The gentleman did offer to have us be rescheduled, which I declined as it's hard to move past this kind of first impression and due to the fact that the other local company we called had come a week ago and completed their estimate We were very happy with our experience with that company and will be moving forward to have them do the work

Hello, Attached is a copy of a letter that we submitted to the consumer protection agency with the State of Wisconsin back in September regarding the same complaint from the client We were not aware that he also had made the same complaint with the Revdex.com We had made attempts to
resolve the issue with the client but he was not willing to work with us on the issue He rather quickly took the matter to the State of Wisconsin At this point the State of Wisconsin is managing the dialogue When we have more information we will advise the Revdex.com.Thank you

The comment that I do not return calls is again another fabrication on this business partI have spoken with *** as of last evening and had submitted this complaint before he had called meI submitted complaint after talking with *** the sales rep whom I prefer not to deal with againThey still have not provided me with a date of starting the job as I have requested multiple times from ***Also I have another project they are working on for me and have been delaying this also, when I spoke with *** last night he stated that I would be contacted this AM and given a schedule update, it is now 2:pm and I still have not been contactedAt this point I would still like to be refunded and move on with another company to complete my job as they have not honored the contract we signed.I only have a cell phone and carry it with me at all times, they have not tried to call and or have not left any messagesi do receive some calls that come up on my caller ID saying that it is a *** number that I do not answer and no message is left

John came to my house to give me a quote for an exterior door replacement This replacement is complicated due to some water damage John was very professional and had many good suggestions about how to replace this doorand make improvements so the water damage does not occur in the future I was very happy with his ideas I am looking forward to my new door installation

The Ganser Company has inspected the homeowners concerns and find there is no evidence of water damageAgain if this was a reoccurring issue there would be evidence of water damage to the drywallIt would be very easy to see this. The Ganser Company has completed the contract per homeowners specsThis is a concrete block homeThe homeowner (General Contractor) Hired the Ganser to install OSB sheeting and house wrap and Fibercement panels to the home which the Homeowner (General Contractor) designed. The homeowner furred out the home with 2xmaterial and filled the cavities with a spray foam insulation (which is a vapor barrier). The area that the homeowner is concerned with was missing a nail, but the panels are flashed with a H flashing or a Z flashing at every seamThe Ganser Company inspected the area and again there is NO evidence of water damageAgain water is not going to wick up a wall 10'-12' with house wrap and OSB sheeting with Spray Foam insulation (which is a vapor Barrier)The home is sweating from the inside, The homeowner stated that this happens when it is very humid and rainy conditions, It is like a basement floor sweating during the summer when you don't have a dehumidifier runningIf this was a recurring/active leak there would be drywall wet spots, which there a none. The Ganser Company will Not be removing any Fibercement panels from the homeThere is zero damage to the fibercement panels and we have shown this to the homeowner, If there was damage to the panel it would be very clear the panel would swell up and would be double in thickness(which is Not) The homeowner was shown this. The Ganser Company could remove ever panel on the home (which we will not) and it still would not leak due to the house wrap and OSB and Spray Foam insulation (another Vapor barrier).Again we the Ganser Company will come out and repair the cosmetic spots per our conversationAgain we will not be removing any panels from the home

Nate was very helpful and straightforward with the information needed for our quoteLow pressure sales with good quality

I stopped by Ganser weeks ago to inquire about their decking systemsWe need to replace our decking and so I requested an appt for them to come out and quote the jobMatt came out and was very nice and brought samples and took measurementsThe appt was a bit long but I figured that the company was very thorough and I appreciated the care Matt took in measuring and explaining the processHe said he would be getting back to me in weeks and apologized it was a bit long but its their 'busy season'I totally understood and appreciated the heads upI told him that I would like to discuss the quote when he had it but I wouldn't want the work done until September or October because we don't want construction during the summer monthsAfter weeks I called and just wanted to make sure that they had my right number and emailThe receptionist said she would send a note to MattI didn't hear back, so I called againAgain I was told that she would send a note backI did this more times in over weeksFinally I was told that I would get a call back in hoursThat did not happenI called again this morning and talked with Nina and she apologized that no one had gotten back to me but it is their 'busy season'She admitted she had records of my calls, not sure where the other ones wentShe was told to call me back to let me know a new person was assigned to my project but she forgot to do thatI explained that I don't want to waste time again by having another person come out and I wanted to get the quote so I could plan for the projectI offered to stop by Ganser on my way out of town and she said she would call me backUpon Nina calling back she said, quite proudly, that Mark G*** said he personally would come out to speak with meHowever, I perviously told her I was out of town for the next weeks and wanted to see the quote and make a decision before thenShe said that it was important that I make a 'good fit' with a company and I was encouraged to call another companyPerhaps we were not a good fit with each other! I thanked her, rather sarcastically, for her permission to call another company and hung upWhat a waste of my time! I like using companies that are family owned and small businesses but Ganser gives them a bad name! Clearly during their busy season they can pick and choose their projects but I wanted them to come out during their slow seasonI am guessing that never got communicated!

The Ganser Company has been only professional and helpful every step of the wayI highly recommend their services!

Ganser came to quote a moisture issue we are having in our atticThey were extremely knowledgeable and diagnosed then issue right awayThey even referred us to another company to avoid any up chargesThey were very professional and I would highly recommend them if you need work quoted

Ganser did house roofEfficient and clean

I hired Ganser Company to replace a roof that was hail damaged during a recent storm The job was supposed to be to replace everything on the roof, including the gutter system I gave my insurance information to the Ganser contractor, we picked out shingles, flashing colors, gutters, gutter guards, and colors associated My old roof and gutters were removed (including gutter guards) and mostly replaced At the end of the job, I was told that I wasn't getting my gutter guards replaced, even though the old ones were removed and thrown out I was not even asked if I wanted to keep the old ones I was told that the gutter guards were not specifically written into the contract, and therefore would not be included This is unbelievable My insurance documentation clearly states under the "gutters and downspout" section that gutter guards are to be removed and replaced The money payed out by my insurance was supposed to cover this Again, I was told that the gutter guards would be

We put in brand new windows from Ganser in Febof this year paying $14,Had some scratches on the glass which they handled and made better immediatelySo far so goodNoticed an obvious blemish on the window frame in June and someone one came out on July 5th to look at the issue and took picturesAlso the areas where there are screws used to install the windows are covered with a cheap sticky circle stained to match the windowAfter not hearing anything back from them weeks and weeks later, I calledActually talked to someone who said they sent the picture to the manufacturer and were waiting and also would send us some of the circle stickers right awayFast forward another couple of weeks and I asked to speak to Tim's (I believe his name was) boss as we weren't getting any whereStacy talked to me and said she would make sure it was handled now that she was aware and not to worryI have called repeatedly leaving messages begging to know why they won't call me backLeft a

I cannot say enough positive things about working with the Ganser Company for my bathroom remodel, as well as replacing kitchen, dining and bedroom flooring, and windows It all started working with Stacey designing the bathroom, and Mike with the windows The bathroom and flooring installation was done by Greg and Kevin, and Jake, Matt and Tevin for the windows Their performance was beyond expectations reflecting excellent workmanship and professionalism Thank you to all, including Jim & Melissa dealing with the scheduling I would not hesitate a minute to recommend Ganser for any projects you are considering

I had a salesman from ganser come out to my home to replace my existing WindowsThe contract date was 3-17-and the install was completed on 5-15-I was promised by the salesman that the new windows were the best I could buyHis statements included: there will no longer be any moisture coming in from outside, that there would no longer be any ice/ frost building up on the inside of the window, there would no longer be any air infiltration, and that these windows would be the last Windows I would ever need
This winter, so less than months later, I not only had frost on the Windows but it iced up as well
I still have a breeze coming from the Windows and I was told that these windows were air tight
So basically everything this guy told me these Windows would fix, they have not and not only that they are just as bad as my old Windows were
I am incredibly disappointed and I am beside myselfI feel like I was lied to and taken advantage ofI am and retired S

Without any reservation I can recommend Ganser Company for any building remodeling project and/or structural changes or repairsIn my opinion, their expertise is unparalleled; and advice is honestly givenYou can rely 100% on any proposal written by Ganser to be completeMy present project was completed in January, that repaired significant storm damageI also had a complete roof, chimney, insulation, and gutter/soffit project done on another building in Ganser personnel were careful to protect shrubbery and landscaping on both jobsitesAll work was finished in a professional manner; without any need for reworkShould a future need arise, my first call will be to Ganser Company

Had a vellux sun tunnel recently installedInstallers were excellent, very clean and thoroughMike, the sales person was knowledgeable and provided insight into which model would be the best for the projectOverall no major issues
