I can only speak for the bill from Garden OBGYN part that we do accept her insurance carrier however the ultrasound were put to her in network deductible which we adjusted because the clinician did not properly explain that may be put to her responsibility I have forwarded an email to Kathy H [redacted] and the laboratory department to help her with her complaint as far as the other bills and the exact situation that occurred in the NYC office

We contacted the patient's insurance carrier and this was processed in network, however due to the situation we are going to adjust this balanceIn the future, please advise the patient if she has any questions regarding whether a service is covered is please request to speak to the billing department

I spoke with the patient and settled her balance with us for the acct # ***I apologized on behalf of the company for her experience that she had with us, and advised her I would be sending over her information to our lab department to make sure they handled the bills that she is receiving for the labs

Review: When I was pregnant I was going to Garden OB/GYN. The doctor I was seeing at first was in the process of being credentialed and considered out of network. My insurance sent me a check to pay them for the services. The doctor's office told me to endorse the check and forward to them. Well, months later my insurance said that the check needed to be sent back to them. I contacted the doctor's office and they said they would send it back on 8/**/14 or 8/**/14 the latest. Well, they did not! I called again on 10/**/14 and they said the check went out that day. I called again on 10/**/14 to follow up and they said to call the next day to see when it will be sent out so they have not sent it out. I've spoke with a lady called [redacted], [redacted] ([redacted]) among other and no luck!I have gotten 4 letter from my insurance requesting this money back. I even have a copy of the check front and back showing that the doctor's office cashed it but they still are holding on to that money.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to send the $465 check to my insurance as requested multiple times. The money doesn't belong to them so they can return it as soon as possible and stop holding on to this money.
