Revdex.com:The work has been correctedThough I wish things did not get to this
point, but in an effort to protect my property and insure a timely response, this forum was a last resort. In the end, Garrett honored the contract and to their credit, they did not walk away from the project.

there was no scheduling conflict as proposed in Todd Garrett's resolution, Garrett Concrete did not show to do the job.  Garrett concrete has not fully refunded our money, therefore our complaint is not resolved.  Garrett concrete and retaining wall is not a business that wants to satisfy their customers as there web site proclaims since this matter is not resolved after 7 months of refusal to talk it out with me.

[redacted]I have not received notification of any kind and I am still waiting for professional repair or replacement of the cracks.

Review: Last spring (2015) we contracted Garrett Concrete to have our front walkway and rear patio replaced. The owner wrote up our contract and told us that we would not be placed on the schedule until 10% payment was received. The next day we sent out the check to ensure we were placed on the schedule ASAP, this was the first week in June 2015. The following week we called to ensure that we were officially on the schedule. His secretary told us that we were on the schedule for late July early August. She advised that a specific date could not be given due to the unforeseen weather conditions that would prevent work from getting done, this we completely understood. Since we confirmed that we were on the schedule was assumed that our check had then been received. When late July came we called to check if things were still on schedule, at this point his secretary told us that we were not on the schedule since payment was never received. We asked how this was possible since we were told that we were on the schedule a week after signing the contract. To this his secretary called us liars. In the LONG back and forth on where our check was it was determined that the address listed on the contract and their website was no longer being used. They promised to track down our original check but to no success. We re-issued a 2nd check which was received and cashed. At this point we were extremely frustrated since this was now 3 weeks after the date our work was supposed to be done. During the entire process there was zero follow-up. Numerous voice mails were left and ignored along with numerous emails to which the secretary admitted to ignoring. When we were finally able to talk to the owner he acted like he knew nothing about the issue but since he would be out mid-September to get the work done, a full month and half after the original date. Once again everything fell through, our emails and voice mails fell on deaf ears. It wasn't until late October when they actually came out to do the work. The workers were extremely nice and courteous to us. A month and half after the work was complete our front step, which they re-surfaced, began falling apart. We immediately informed them of the issue but since it was winter it was not possible to repair due to the cold temperatures, which we again understood. In March we contact Garrett to ensure they got us on their schedule as early as possible to fix our step. The owner ensured us that he would be back out to fix our step. It is now May 2016 and once again they refuse to return any of our phone calls and emails. I find it VERY hard to believe that our messages are not being received. We held up our end of the contract and made our payments in extremely timely fashions but now that they got our money they are refusing to hold up their end of the contract. This has gone on long enough and something needs to be done.Desired Settlement: Garrett Concrete come out and complete the job in the way that they were contracted to do.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Since filing my complaint with the Revdex.com Garrett Concrete has contacted us and made the necessary repairs. Thank you very much for helping us get this resolved.

Review: We contracted for concrete work on 4/15/15, estimated completion mid-June to early July. $600 down was tendered on $5800.00 I left numerous voice messages asking for new ETA; none were answered. One email, asking for new date was answered: "We are backed up." No date. That took a week for response.I am worried that they are out of business.I travel and I must arrange to be here when work is being one.I have a medical procedure in August, which took 3 months to schedule. I think we are being blown off for bigger jobs.Desired Settlement: If they finish in August, that's fine. Otherwise, a prompt and full refund. I no longer trust them. Can you blame me?

We are behind due to weather and wet ground...we have responded to aqll messages by phone and or email... we will be getting to this project in a couple weeks I will see if I can move it up as much as I can...sorry for the incoveinece Wendy

Review: I contracted with Garrett concrete to replace part of my driveway and my side walk from the city walk to the front porch. The drive way is ok the side walk is the problem. It is not level at the porch I have pix showing the porch is level with the bubble in the middle of the level. The side walk shows the bubble going down hill. I have called Garrett numerous times I am told *** will get back to me but he never does.Desired Settlement: I would like a partial refund and the last section of the walk removed and replaced wit a level slab and if my landscaping is disturbed they should return it to the same condition it was in before they started the job.
