In response to Ms***’s rebuttal of the initial response of Gateway One Lending & Finance, LLC (“Gateway”) please be advised that Ms***’s account with Gateway is still active even after she voluntarily surrendered the vehicle; the Gateway debt obligation did not end nor was satisfiedTherefore, Ms***’s account will remain in an open status until the account is settled in full. With respect to the credit reporting information provided by Ms***, it appears this information is provided through a third party service provider, not directly by the credit reporting agencies (“CRA”)The information is pulled at different time periods, and current information may not have been reflected in these reports In our previous response, Gateway indicated it confirmed that a voluntary surrender was accurately reported to each CRA to which Gateway submits credit reporting informationGateway has submitted a new payment history update to each CRA to accurately reflect the payment history on Ms***’s account, which should also reflect the voluntary surrender performed in January Please note, as the account is still an active account, information will continue to report to CRA’s which may include additional derogatory informationMs*** should allow sufficient time for information to update to her credit report(s)

Gateway One Lending & Finance, LLC (“Gateway”) strives to provide service in a professional and courteous manner in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws. In response to this complaint, Gateway has conducted an investigation into the matter raised by the complainant
Complainant expresses their dissatisfaction with the poor customer service received during the process of requesting a payment due date change on their account Our records indicate that complainant contacted Gateway on 1/2/17. During that conversation, complainant requested a form for a due date changeAt that time, complainant was advised that a payment for complainant’s monthly payment obligation would need to be satisfied in order to process the due date change request. Nonetheless, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience the process of requesting a due change created for the complainantOur records indicate Gateway received the necessary written authorization from the complainant and has confirmed the payment due date has been changed per the complainant’s requestA letter confirming this action was mailed to the complainant on February 13, Again, we apologize the level of customer service did not meet the complainant’s expectation, and look forward to providing the complainant a better customer service experience in the future

Gateway One Lending & Finance, LLC (“Gateway”) strives to provide service in a professional and courteous manner in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws. In response to this complaint, Gateway has conducted an investigation into the matter raised by the complainant. Gateway’s records indicate that it received payment for complainant’s account on November 3, which fully satisfied the account. The payment was made via a cashier’s check with “*** ***” noted as the remitter. There were no indications to show that the payoff check was from a dealership. Nor did he payment include any instructions for the release of title. The title associated with complainant’s account was an electronic title issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicle (CA ***”). Gateway transmitted information to the CA *** seeking to release the title to the complainant since Gateway was not provided with any instructions pertaining to the release of title. However, Gateway received an error message from the CA ***. After another attempt which resulted in a similar error message, Gateway mailed a CA *** REG form to the complainant. This form evidences Gateway’s release of its security interest in the subject vehicle and will allow complainant to obtain a clear title.Gateway apologizes for this issue. It appears there is a Report of Deposit of Fees on CA ***’s record that was created on August 22, for the vehicle in question. Gateway beleives this to be the reason that Gateway has been unable to release the electronic title. Gateway requests that complainant contact Gateway should complainant be unable to obtain a clear title with the REG referenced above

Gateway One Lending & Finance, LLC (“Gateway”) strives to provide service in a professional and courteous manner in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws. In response to this complaint, Gateway has conducted an investigation into the matter raised by the
complainant. For security reasons, Gateway’s website does not store checking account information for one-time web pay transactions which is the option utilized by complainant. We would like to advise complainant that he can establish recurring web payments via Gateway’s website. This would allow complainant to satisfy complainant’s monthly payment without the need to contact Gateway for each payment. We trust this satisfies complainant’s concerns

Revdex.com:If I am still responsible for the full amount for the loan the the truck needs to be returned to me and I should have the opportunity to make payments on it I have never seen when a vehicle have been repossessed for the client to have to pay the full amount of the loan The truck should have been sold and the balance after the sale is what would be owed Because Gateway is in the business of ripping people off and treating them less than and speaking to them disrespectfully this is how they conduct business I will contact an attorney since they obviously do not conduct business appropriately

Gateway One Lending & Finance, LLC (“Gateway”) strives to provide service in a professional and courteous manner in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws. In response to this complaint, Gateway has conducted an investigation into the matter raised by the complainant. First of all, Gateway apologizes that complainant was not satisfied with the level of service received from Gateway representatives in the handling of the account. Complainant’s concerns will be raised to management within Gateway’s customer service and insurance groups. As for the delay referenced by the complainant, please note that within a couple of days of the date of loss (approximately December 11, 2014), complainant’s automobile insurance company provided an initial settlement amount that Gateway did not believe properly value the covered motor vehicle. Gateway had subsequent discussions with the insurance company which led to an increase the settlement amount by a little over $1,400.00. Payment from the primary insurance company, however, was not received until approximately January 14, which was then applied to the account. An additional factor contributing to the delay was the fact that the GAP provider paid prior to the receipt of the funds from the primary insurance company. This resulted in a subsequent discussion with the GAP provider for additional payment to the account. In total, Gateway worked with different providers in order to obtain proceeds and/or refunds to be applied to the complainant’s account. The complainant’s account is now reflected as paid in full and a letter acknowledging such has been provided to the complainant. We trust this addresses complainant’s concerns

The Complainant indicates their dissatisfaction with length of time the release and delivery of a vehicle title after loan payoffThe complainant requests reimbursement of added insurance costs incurred due to the extended period of time to obtain title to their vehicle. Gateway records indicate that payoff of complainant’s account was received on January 25, 2017. An initial electronic title release request was made shortly after pay off of complainant’s loan, but due to an address discrepancy with the California Department of Motor Vehicles (“DMV”), the electronic title release could not be processed and sent directly to the complainantAfter efforts to resolve the address issue, the complainant was advised that a paper title would be requested from the *** be issued directly to Gateway to forward to complainantOur records indicate that a paper title was sent via *** to the complainant’s address on file on 2/27/2017. We regret the complainant’s dissatisfaction with the length of time to receive title and apologize for any inconvenience this issue has causedGiven the circumstances preventing the initial electronic release of title and Gateway’s efforts to resolve this matter, additional processing time was necessary
