On 9/6/17 [redacted] filed his same complaint with the [redacted].  The response due date to the [redacted] is 10/7/17.  He will receive a copy of the written response to the [redacted] after it has been filed.  No further response to this Revdex.com complaint will be made.

GCI entered into service contracts with [redacted] in good faith expecting her to honor her commitment.  She visited a GCI retail store on August 28th and asked about waiving the early termination fees on her cell contracts due to military orders, something she did not mention in her...

complaint.  She was informed that with a copy of her military PCS move orders GCI’s policy is to waive the fees.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:I did not tell anybody at GCI I was military, I asked why military members were the only ones who were able to get released from their contract and the man helping me said if I had orders GCI would waive the ETF. I have not been military for 5 years however I am in the process of moving from Alaska to New Hampshire where I do not have adequate coverage and can not continue to use GCI services. If we were military wouldn't we have added that to the account when we originally signed up with GCI? Sincerely,[redacted]

I did as the your customer service agent advise the item didn't come with clear instructions reason why I had to call.  I did not intentionality damage the item and will not be responsible for what your employee advise me to do.   Please stop billing me, I will not pay for something the that falls back on your employee and company.

GCI has processed a refund to the card that [redacted] used to make the payment.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I maintained communication with GCI during my recovery, constantly told that they understood the circumstances and that GCI would work with me. not once was I told that my account was being referred to collection. Furthermore once I did find out that my account with GCI was sent to collections I didn't hesitate to contact both GCI and [redacted]. I have sent multiple letters to the [redacted] office offering to settle the account for an amount I would be able to afford at the time of each letter, but I never received a response whether it was rejecting my offer or offering their own. I just want to resolve this matter as soon as possible in a way that I think would be only fair to both parties I'm more than willing to pay the amount of the original statement from GCI which is a total of $898.93 in exchange for GCI having [redacted] remove the negative information from all major Credit Reporting Agencies. Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: GCI has refused to upgrade their internet network out in [redacted] the last upgrade was in 2005. they GCI does not even see my antenna for receiving internet yet they still charge me for service on their network.Sincerely,[redacted]

When [redacted] financed a new phone through GCI on February 21, 2015 he also included handset insurance with his purchase.  The information given to him at that time, both verbally and in writing is that the handset insurance has a $199.00 deductible which is still far less expensive than paying...

full retail value to replace his phone.  This information is also on the GCI web site at http://www.gci.com/wireless/protection

GCI has not received any rebuttal sent to us by the Revdex.com to our previous response.  If we had we would have referred back to our original response which is: On 9/6/17 [redacted] filed his same complaint with the FCC.  The response due date to the FCC is 10/7/17.  He will receive a copy of the written response to the FCC after it has been filed.  No further response to this Revdex.com complaint will be made.  The Revdex.com can close this complaint however they choose but the consumer will receive a written response thru the FCC.

[redacted]'s service did not move to the GCI billing platform (and change plans) until July 2016.  Prior to that she was still on the [redacted] billing platform.

[redacted] has failed to notify the Revdex.com that he has received and already cashed the refund check from GCI.  The check cleared our bank on 9/12/17.

To date, GCI has left no less than 4 call back messages at the contact number [redacted] provided with her complaint.  If she has not received them as she claims then she should call 1-800-800-4800 (GCI Customer Service) and ask to speak with Prescott to get this complaint resolved.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The person who responded must not have read the complaint in its entirety. I PAID OFF the account with $40 at the local store and was later charged AGAIN for $59.99 which is what I disputed with my financial institution. The overcharge($59.99) of a paid-off cancelled account is the only payment I requested be returned and I was instructed by GCI customer service to dispute it with my credit card company.Sincerely,[redacted]

GCI contacted [redacted] and set up a premise visit.  A cable drop was replaced resolving [redacted]’ Internet speed issue.

[redacted] ported her cell service to another carrier yesterday and is no longer a GCI wireless customer.  A review of trouble ticket history shows that [redacted] did not give GCI the opportunity to address the service issues she claims to have experienced even though she also claims to have exceeded...

her monthly data allowance.  All charges on [redacted] account are valid and no credits are warranted.

I am rejecting this response because:Lawrence was dishonest and a supervisor did not even bother to contact me to resolve the issue.  The discount they provided increased my bill from around $80 to $120 per month.  I am tired of how GCI operates their business.  I am not the first customer to complain about their lack of service and how they treat their customers.  At the end of the day, all I asked was to speak to the supervisor to confront what Lawrence did, but they didn't even bother to do so because THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS and know that they have a monopoly in Alaska when it comes to internet.  I would have greatly appreciated a call from a supervisor so we could have an a discussion and figure things out.  It's sad that I had to go through the Revdex.com route.I give authorization to Revdex.com to discuss my account with GCI.  Also, I authorize Revdex.com to post my review of GCI for others to see.Thank you for your timeSincerely,

Complaint: [redacted] !This is not my complete response.  Please inform me of how many days I have to respond.  However, my immeditate--but not yet complete--response is:  I am rejecting this response because: GCi has stated incorrect factual information. Very early on it was mutually decided that much of the communication would take place by email.  I will copy the Revdex.com on all of these numerous emails between me and GCI Customer Servive representatives and also GCI Customer Advocate, Phil L[redacted].   All GCI CDMA service to all GCI CDMA phones, including my 11 year old CDMA service to my 11 year old original GCI purchace, Samsung Galaxy (1)with unlinited data, was permanently discontinued by GCI.  I need to have the Revdex.com request from GCI all of my service records and Customer Service representative(s) telephone notes for both of my GCI phones.  Phone #! is the GCI CDMA phone and service.  Phone #2 is the ACS(GSM) pnone and service transferred to GCI(GSM) during the GCI buyout of ACS.  My ACS service to GSI servie phone still had about $15. on account as of arpx. November 7, 2016, when it was suddenly, without notice, disconnected from th GCI(GSM) network inviolation of the GCI to ACS Transition Plan.  I will write more later and copy to Revdex.com the emails beteween me and GCI.  It is now 3:04 pm on 12/07/2016.  I have been writing for almost 30 minutes and the warning from Revdex.com to finish writing is coming up.
