The ged test should have a way to get extra credits to be able to pass the test, not everyone
is planing on going to college, most people just want it to get a better job .or keep the one they have.I fill its unfair based on the fact not everyone plans on going to college.Their are no options besides just pass and most of the colleges don't offer just the subject you need help in,they just offer all the subjects.I took the classes and got 3hrs of math threw the whole 3 months when I ask if their was a class just for the math I was told no.Their should be more options to help you pass it.

I finished 3/4 my test and I have been waiting to get the email say that my scores are in. I finally got the email saying that my scores are ready to view and when I went to the website to log on and view my scores all its says is "we're off studying please try again later." Is there a scheduled down time or is just some serious problems with their website? If anyone knows how to fix this or what the problem is please let me know I have been waiting to know if I passed the three test that I took today. Super disappointed that it will not let me view the test and also that they are leaving no explanation as to why I am unable to view them.

Good morning, my name is Scott , My daughter Kymberly was taking the GED in Cocoa Fl, and was interrupted by people coming in and out of the testing center. We filed a "Case"(02157399) with your Customer Service, and basically were told that my Daughter should have said something to the Test Administrator. Where my Daughter took the test was in the middle of the worst part of town, and the people that had been the disruption were directly in earshot of the Test Administrator, so my daughter did not feel safe saying anything at the time, as she didnt want to get assaulted. In the email response to this case , your customer service people, denied the case and said she wasn't entitled to compensation. We never asked for compensation, we just want Kymberly to be able to retake the test and not have to wait 60 days. I have been extremely patient with this process, and have kept all communications with your employees, as they have no idea what is going on based on the ignorant responses. So before I engage in a very public, very nasty Social Media Mudslinging, I am giving you guys the opportunity to fix this situation and allow my child to retake her test in an environment that is conducive to testing, and not have to wait 60 days to do it.

Best regards
Scott Fussell

This company is God awful, not only they don't care about the people that take their test, but they also don't care that they are a gate keeper that keeps people poor and with out opportunities for their personal lives and careers.

The reason I am making this complain is because I scored 140 on the math test while the passing score is 145, the passing score in the past was 150 and 150 its also the national average that people score throughout this great nation, so the passing score in my opinion should be below 145, honestly it should be between 135 to 140, I complained to them that the fact I was mentally disable was also a great problem for me and also that I can no longer give time in the mornings to go to the classes since I have to work, so the choice is mines, either I pay for food or I pay in time and money for studying for the test and taking said test, its outrageous that the system doesn't help you at all when you are trying to do the right things, a lot of people have tried for years to get their GED from these cheap individuals and haven't, a lot of them do end up deciding to give up and stop giving them money.

Bottom line the Math portion of their test is set up for you to fail it on purpose, not only they take advantage of the fact most people aren't good at math by putting math you rarely see in high school, they also limit the questions to 27-34 questions, basically the margin of error is much more larger than in the other subjects that have close to 100 questions, by having close or more than 100 questions it gives you more flexibility to get a few questions wrong with out failing the entire test, like in this one, so yeah they did this so they can get more money from your retries and more money that you pay for their classes that don't teach you what's on the test.

Hello [redacted]-In follow up to your email dated July 29 and our telephone conversation on July 31, I looked into [redacted]'s complaint that he had not yet received the results of the Language Arts exam (one of four GED test modules) despite being promised that they'd be delivered within three to...

four business days of the date on which he took that test module. I assume that [redacted] attempted to access his test results via his own GED Testing Service account before he contacted our customer service call center and was unsuccessful in getting into the system.  I cannot explain why neither he or the call center representatives were able to access his results before [redacted] filed his complaint with your organization on July 29.  I can only tell you that our online records indicate that [redacted] did pass his Language Arts exam and in fact has passed all four tests and has earned his high school equivalency diploma.  It would appear that [redacted] learned of this achievement after filing his complaint because our records also indicate that he directed GED TS to deliver a transcript of his test results and his diploma to [redacted].com.While I cannot positively confirm via our internal online system that [redacted]'s test results have been delivered to him, I am fairly confident that he has become aware of the fact that he did in fact pass that specific exam and three others as well. It would appear that this dispute has been resolved but since I am new to the process, I don't want to assume anything.  Please let me know whether any further action is required from us.Respectfully yours,Roxanne M[redacted]

Complaint
Background --
On
March 7, 2016, GEDTS received a Revdex.com Complaint wherein the Complainant
stated that she had paid to take one of the four GED®
tests and scheduled it for January 8, 2016 at 1:15 p.m. Complainant
reported that on the morning of her scheduled test (January 8, 2016),
she realized the garage door to her rental home was broken and she
was physically unable to get her car out of the garage. She stated
that when she called to report the issue to the GEDTS customer
service team (“Customer Service”) and reschedule her test, she
was kept on hold for quite some time. When she spoke with a Customer
Service representative, she was assured that if she provided a letter
from her landlord confirming the incident, she would be able to
reschedule her test at no charge. Complainant explained that after
getting such a letter from her landlord and sending and resending it
to the Customer Service team, she was told that GEDTS would not
reschedule her test for free because the letter was not on official
letterhead. Complainant is asking GEDTS to reconsider its decision
to require her to pay thirty dollars ($30) to reschedule her test and
let her do so at no charge.
Action
Taken –
Following
our receipt of this complaint from the Revdex.com,
GEDTS’s legal team reviewed both the Complainant’s statement and
a GEDTS incident report from Customer Service which included a copy
of the scanned landlord letter that Complainant emailed to GEDTS.
GEDTS acknowledges that the Complainant called us at 10:45 a.m. on
January 8, 2016, to cancel test scheduled for 1:15 p.m. later that
same day. However, in order to be able to reschedule a canceled test
at no charge, GEDTS requires test-takers to provide the testing
center with at least twenty-four (24) hours cancellation notice. A
Customer Service representative did inform Complainant that in order
to qualify for an exception to the 24 hours notice requirement she
would have to provide proof from her landlord to confirm what had
happened to cause her to miss the scheduled test.
On
January 19, 2016, Complainant contacted Customer Service for an
update on the status of her request to reschedule her test and was
told that they had received no communication from her. The
representative asked Complainant to resend her documentation.
On
January 22, 2016, Candidate was informed that the fax she’d sent
Customer Service was illegible and she was asked to resubmit a
clearer copy. Shortly thereafter, Customer Service received the same
documentation via email. After reviewing the note provided by
Complainant’s landlord, the Customer Service representative
determined it did not cover the date of the exam or provide any
confirmation as to the broken garage door being the cause for
Complainant to miss her scheduled exam. The Customer Service
representative informed Complainant for those reasons and the fact
that an incident such she experienced was not covered in GEDTS’
Emergency Reschedule policy, her request to reschedule her test
without charge was being formally denied. When later that day the
Complainant emailed Customer Service again asking to escalate the
decision, she was told that she should telephone the GEDTS call
center to discuss her appeal over the phone. She was also told that
this additional review would still require her to provide GEDTS with
a signed note from her landlord on his official letterhead that
referenced the date of the incident.
On
January 24, Complainant phoned the GEDTS call center. As of this
date, GEDTS has not received any additional documentation from
Complainant.
The
GEDTS legal team has determined that while the note provided by
Complainant’s landlord was not written on business letterhead and
does not specifically reference Complainant’s need to leave her
house in order to drive to a testing center to take a GED test, it
does indicate that the garage door had been an ongoing problem at
this location. And it does confirm that the garage door was
malfunctioning on the morning of the scheduled test. We decided that
if we could obtain some additional corroboration from Complainant’s
landlord as to the specifics of the incident, GEDTS would waive its
$30 fee and allow Complainant to reschedule the test at no charge.
Unfortunately, when we called the telephone number provided on the
landlord’s faxed note, the outgoing message said that we had
reached Complainant’s cell phone and asked us to leave a message.
There was no reference to the landlord’s name in the outgoing
message; we did not leave a message. Our conclusion is that we were
not able to verify Complainant’s explanation of the incident.
Based on the evidence, we do not see a reason to refund Complainant’s
money or reschedule her test with no fee.
Accordingly,
GEDTS respectfully requests that the Revdex.com close this complaint with
notation of appropriate handling of the underlying incident.
One
additional note, as a result of participating in this process, GEDTS
has provided additional direction to the Customer Service team as to
what other types of formal documentation might be a substitute for
“official letterhead” and the types of details to look for to
confirm the validity of a Complainant’s report of an incident that
caused them to cancel their test.
Best

Background --
On
October 28, 2016, GEDTS received a Revdex.com Complaint wherein the
Complainant indicated that her son was in the process of completing a
GED®
test when the “GED test coordinator” received a person phone call
and told Complainant’s son he had to leave the testing center and
return the next day to complete the test. Complainant reported that
following this incident, she has contacted the GED test coordinator
numerous times to have her son complete the test, but has been told
that the test may not be rescheduled because the GEDTS scheduling
system has blocked his account.

Action
Taken – GETS is ready, willing and able to look into the
circumstances surrounding this complaint and to assist in its
resolution. However, in reviewing the Complainant’s statement, we
noted that this complaint was filed by someone other than the GED
account holder who was actually taking the GED test when this
incident occurred. Complainant was straightforward in her
communication that she is in fact the mother of the test-taker
involved in the complaint. GEDTS take the issues of confidentiality
and privacy very seriously, and due to the confidentiality
obligations GEDTS commits to whenever a test-taker signs up to take a
GED test, we are prohibited from sharing any of that test-taker’s
personally identifiable information or data with a third party, like

given GEDTS his consent for us to share his data with the Revdex.com and any
others that he is willing to designate in his complaint. Upon
receipt of such notification, GEDTS will proceed with responding to

hours of a test-taker’s scheduled test time, GEDTS does not compensate the test-taker
for lost personal time.  In such
circumstances, it is GEDTS’s practice to refund the fee paid by the test-taker on
the following day to allow its process systems to verify that no exam was in
fact taken on the previous day and that a refund is truly owed to the
test-taker.  At 1:02 p.m. on March 4,
2016, GEDTS refunded Complainant’s credit card account in the amount of $35.00.  This amount covers the fee Complainant paid on
February 25, 2016, to schedule the GED® test that GEDTS was ultimately
unable to let her take on March 3, 2016, due to problems at the test facility
itself.
Accordingly,
GEDTS respectfully requests that the Revdex.com close this complaint with notation of
timely response and proper handling of the underlying incident.
