I got married almost 3 years ago and we decided to go with this company for our wedding bands, we spend $1200 on mine and around $600 for my husband's, we would soon find out that we made a mistake going with this company and would regret it. The first week after wearing my ring some of the white sapphire started to get cloudy and the sterling silver would have this ugly dirty look but it didn't bother me much so I didnt return it.... the problem I really had was the stones would keep falling out on my husband's ring, if you looked at them too hard they would fall out. I got tired of replacing them just to have another one fall out again. Customer service was never helpful, them telling me that sterling silver shouldn't be worn every day and it's a softer metal wasn't resolving anything, it just showed that their customer reps were quick to shift blame and not own up to their faulty product. My husband hardly wore his ring and I still have sterling silver jewelry that cost $50 from 8 years ago that looked better than the rings we bought for hundreds of dollars, so what was their reason now? I'm letting everyone know what they're getting themselves into before buying. We're waiting on our 5th year anniversary to finally replace the trash rings we have now with a company that offers better quality products to their customers and a longer warranty. Save your money and go elsewhere

I made a purchase of an item at this jewelry manufacturer . They request payment " up front " . No mention was made at the time of purchase about a delayed schedule beyond the customary wait period . It has been almost 1 month since order was placed . I have called the company ( Gemvara ) to inquire as to how much longer it will take to complete . They never answer their phone nor reply to the voice messages I have left . I am now wondering if they are in the process of shutting down permanently . I would just like a refund if Gemvara is not able to deliver item within 10 more days . The virus situation is no excuse as far as I am concerned for indefinitely stalling on the company's duty to deliver . Customer should have option of refund .

We are a custom fine jewelry company, with the vast majority of our product being hand-crafted in ***. Our city was one of the first in the country hit by the recent pandemic, the city with the highest case and death rates in the US, and therefore was one of the last cities to begin reopening non-essential businesses. We communicated a 1-2 month delivery timeframe via messaging onsite, throughout the check out process, and in our confirmation emails throughout this pandemic. We are still on track to deliver this customer's order within this window. Our jewelers were able to return to work on Monday for the first time in 3 months, and are working tirelessly to catch up on hundreds of orders. We will be in touch with customers within the next week or two with an estimated delivery date, and cannot confirm delivery within the next 10 days to be possible. We have responded to the customer's email and will respond to his phone calls at our earliest convenience. We appreciate his patience in this time as we are working with a very limited staff, all working from home with children.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Should've figured the jewelry from a company that only offers a 1 year warranty would be ***. During the warranty period, my engagement ring literally broke in half. Now at the year mark and without a warranty, I am losing gems like crazy. Buyer beware and shop elsewhere!

A+ customer service and stunning gems hand set to your order. We've bought 7 rings and could have gone to a jewelry store and maybe paid less but wouldn't have received the craftsmanship of the pieces and follow up to make sure you're 100% satisfied. Everytime I've called they greet me by name which is so nice and emails are answered in that business day. Highly recommend...

I have been nothing but pleased with Gemvara. Six years ago my husband suprised me by picking out a ring he wanted to get me. He choose the style and insisted that I choose the stones. I was very skeptical about ordering jewelry on line but after much ado went ahead an picked my stones. The perticular emerald that I choose was not currently available but I was constantly updated on the availability of the stone and the crafting of my ring set. When I recieved the rings they were beautiful. I could not have been more suprised by the beauty and quality of the product. Since that time I have sent the rings back for cleaning, repair and resizing. Each time I was kept constantly in the loop by customer service as to the status of the needed service. My most recent service was provided completely at no charge as they examined the needed repair and determined that they would remake the entire ring so as to avoid this type of repair in the future. I was blown away by this as I did not suggest or infer in any way that the ring should be replaced! Their prompt courteous responses to questions and concern for my satisfaction is far superior to most businesses I have encountered. I have recommended them to numerous people and am very quick to tell people where I got my rings when they comment on how unique and beautiful they are.

I first found Gemvara a few years ago when searching for a company to custom-create an engagement ring for my (now) wife. From day one, all the staff at Gemvara has treated me with exceptional care and support. They kept me informed every step of the way and didn't just copy and paste a response; it felt like a family member was reaching out to me each time. Upon receiving the ring, I was amazed at how beautiful it was; even better than expected. And what matters most is my wife absolutely LOVES it! I just ordered her some custom-made earrings and will continue to work with Gemvara in the future. They take time in creating each piece, inspect it to be sure it's perfect and stand by it. We bought two silver rings (that were extremely over-priced) about 7 years ago. I had issues with my ring after 3 years or so. Every time I would wear it, I would begin having some sort of reaction, my skin under the ring would get red and itchy. I would remove the ring for a few days and the problem would go away. I attributed my issue to the bezel set stone maybe poking my finger from the underside. It got to a point where I could no longer wear the ring. Fast forward to a few months ago, my husband started having the same reaction to his ring. He now has a giant rash where he wore his ring that is just finally starting t clear up after about 3 months. I can only assume that these rings are not pure silver, as I have inexpensive sterling silver rings that I wear on a daily basis that cause zero issues. I assume there was some sort of plating on our rings that eventually wore off and caused a lot of issues for both of us. Just to note, I frequently wear inexpensive jewelry with no allergic reaction issues, so I have no idea what kind of crazy mystery metal these rings are made of. I would recommend purchasing rings elsewhere.

All of our pieces are hand-crafted with the finest metals available. Since you wore the rings daily without issue for so long, it's quite likely that they simply need to be cleaned. We recommend cleaning your jewelry regularly to ensure that any buildup that has accumulated from every day things (like soap residue from washing your hands, lotions or cosmetics, etc.) is washed away and cannot irritate your skin. Additionally, when washing your hands, try to make sure that your jewelry is completely dry so that moisture doesn't get trapped underneath. It's highly unlikely that you're reacting to the metal itself as the most common allergen in metal alloys is nickel and most of our jewelers only work with nickel-free sterling silver. What a great experience! I was treated like a friend, kept fully in the loop, helped when I had questions, and received an AMAZING ring (especially considering the reasonable price). My fiancee was overjoyed, and I could not be happier with the whole process!!

Gemvara is a fantastic company. Over the last 6 years, I've made three purchases, each one as beautiful as one could hope for. An engagement ring, an anniversary necklace to match, and most recently, a 5th anniversary ring. The quality of these items are worthy of such gifts. They have a wide enough selection of base styles that I am confident enough to say that anyone could find a piece that would suit their taste. Being able to customize these items with the metal and gems of their choice should be particularly appealing to those who
would like to add a more personal touch or symbolism to their gift. In addition to the merchandise itself, the customer service is exceptional. The effort they put forth is very apparent; they are dedicated to assure you are satisfied, from quality checks on the pieces themselves, and keeping you updated on every step of the process. My only regret is that I am only able to give them five stars. They deserve more.

Ordered a ring for my husband for his birthday back in September. It arrived and was absolutely beautiful; however it did not come engraved like I had asked. Gemvara Customer Service told me I could send it back at any time to have it engraved; we chose not to. Fast forward seven months later and one of the stones came out of the ring, so I contacted Customer Service and they recommended I send it in for repair. We just received the ring back this week and are thrilled beyond our expectations. The repair consisted of an entire new ring that came with the original engraving. We certainly did not expect a new ring, and truth be told, had sort of forgotten about the engraving. Well not Gemvara. Kudos to them. Excellent customer service. Unique individual designs. Beautiful product. We certainly would not hesitate to use them again.

Gemvara has the best customer service of any online company I have made purchases from. I purchased a custom made ring for my wife for our 25th anniversary, but I didn't get the size right. True to their word, Gemvara accepted return of the ring and made a new one in the correct size, at no cost to me other than the shipping to return the first one. The level of communication from start to finish was amazing, including providing tracking information, which is very important to me. Both Lauren L & Emylee R were exceptional! I would not hesitate to buy from Gemvara again.

I adore Gemvara. I have a gorgeous iolite and diamond ring from Gemvara that I wear everyday (Style: Flamenco) and get numerous compliments on. Well, one day I noticed that I'd lost one of the smaller iolites. Worried about what I'd have to go through to have my beloved ring repaired, I made the call to Gemvara customer service. I needn't have worried. The service I received was top notch: kind, professional, and informative. Because my ring was past warranty, there was a cost involved with fixing it, but it was beyond reasonable. I was actually pleasantly shocked at the price. Best of all, not only did they fix my ring, but they polished and restored it like new...maybe even better. I will absolutely purchase from Gemvara again.

This was my first experience ordering from Gemvara. Gemvara was amazing to work with. I had to have rings resized, added a ring, and then had them soldered. Customer service was so patient with all of my requests and questions. Everything was done perfectly. This was an amazing experience. The rings are gorgeous. I ordered a two roads ring in sterling silver. The ordering process was exceptionally easy. Once ordered, they kept in touch with me via email to inform me of the process and progress of the creating of my ring. Consequently, I never had any questions about what was next. I love the ring. I have had three experiences with Gemvara.
I purchased my wife's wedding ring and engagement ring as a set from there.
I had to have the ring re-sized, because I got the size a bit wrong when I ordered it.
Recently, the ring had to be repaired because my wife got it caught on the oven handle.
In all three cases, their customer service and communication has been impeccable. They kept me posted through every step of the process. I appreciate that.
Additionally, they are reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost of the repair, and the price of the rings was well worth the value. My wife loves her rings, and I love my band.

I have bought two rings from this company over the span of a few years both were great quality and have been durable as well as beautiful! Customer service has always been very helpful in finding solutions to any issues and clarity on any questions I had. They took the time to delay my order to recreate my ring so it was a more perfected piece instead of just rushing me out one they felt wasn’t up to standards and I genuinely appreciate the transparency and willingness to correct any flaws. I would definitely recommend and buy again in the future. I also love that they do payment plans so it is more feasible to pay off and when I noticed after my purchase they offered my ring on sale I reached out about it and they lowered my 3rd payment in honor of matching the sales price. They care about their brand!
