I accept the $800 good will toward my $2100 bill which I have not received or the written contract.  I would like to cancel the premier dealer service contract and not have any more dealings with them.  This pro-rated refund will be used to pay my credit card bill and the $200 tow bill which was not covered.  thank you

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I was contacted by one of the sales managers who did apologize, he is going to try to call the banks to have this issue resolved if possible. He told me that he is not sure how fast this would happen from the banks end but would contact me back towards the beginning of next week or sooner if this gets taken care of by the banks right away. I will give him the few days to have this issue resolved but KIA and its employees have not always stuck to their word and most times say they will get back to you but then never do. So once I receive confirmation from banks and credit companies that this has been taken off my credit report only then will this case be resolved. I would also like to be advised and shown proof that this fraudulent issue has been brought to the attention of all the higher up managers and corporate.  I would like the person who did this to be reprimanded for falsely submitting loan applications to banks without the  permission , request or knowledge to the customer being this is a very serious issue. I am also requesting that when it is time for me to bring my car in to decide to lease another or buy out my car that I speak directly with a supervisor, I do not want any dealings with the person who did this and who was very arrogant and rude and took this issue so lightly as it was a joke. Once this issue is finally resolved then and only then will this case be resolved. Thank you.

The salesman said its just a formality. the check will either be returned to you or ripped up. we were at the dealership till 8:30 that evening, the next morning I did my banking, the check had been cashed! and now they have not refund that 200.00 dollars as of yet and when I call I get the run around. Someone is supports to call but of course no one calls. Then [redacted] of the used cars said on Sunday May [redacted] it will be taken care of on Monday May [redacted]. No one did anything. Still no check and when I call still get the run around. Today I called again and now I have to wait till tomorrow for the salesman [redacted] to call me tomorrow. Why? I don't know. Just another run around. Please help me. That 200.00 dollars means alot to my family. We barely make ends meant as it is. Thank you so much for any help.Desired Settlement: a check for my 200.00 dollars.

Review: I had purchased a 2010 Kia Soul from generation Kia on 7/*/2014, for 13,900.00, with taxes it came to 17,805. that Was including the DMV,then they talked me into getting a 4 yr warranty for 3 grand, that boosted the price up to 20,805. I put 14 grand cash down, when I got the papers from the bank for the loan, it said the Principal for the car was 11 grand. my mom went through the numbers and realized there was a 5000.00 mistake, so my mom, dad and me went down there and they were like, "OH IM SO SORRY" so they wrote out a check for 5 grand and gave it back to me. Then my mom called Another Kia dealer in [redacted] and ask about the warranty, they said Any New Kia car has a 10 yr or 100 thousand mile bumper to bumper coverage, but if the car was used, I would get the remaining coverage for the car which in this case it would be 6 yrs or up to 100 thousand miles, where the dealer of which I got the car said I had only 60 days! That is why I got the extended coverage for 3 grand, now, the dealer Almost got me for 5 grand, and now trying to get me for 3 grand, the car is a 2010, therefor I should have 6 yrs bumper to bumper coverage, Why Did they LIE and say 60 days. as a matter of fact, the man I spoke to at the [redacted] dealership said he use to work for Generation Kia and Quit because they were ripping off customers.Desired Settlement: my desired settlement is 3 grand for the extended warrenty I never needed in the first place, Plus it was only for 4 yrs! I should have the remaining coverage of the car which is 6 yrs. Thank You [redacted] you need to contact me, my number is ###-###-#### :)

Business

Response:

Spoke to [redacted] today explained that the Kia factory warranty is 5/60 bumper to bumper and not 10/100. She did purchase an extended warranty to get a 10/100 bumper to bumper. She understands and is happy with her purchase.

Review: The Business advertised that a laptop would be given with the purchase of a new car in the month of August. After the purchase of my car I was informed I got a great deal and was not going to be getting the laptop due to the fact that I was given such a good price on my car. [redacted] was rude, called me names, and hung up on me multiple times reguarding this issue and many others I had with this dealership. I was also sold a $2,500 warranty in addition to my 100,000 mile 10 year warranty because I was told the bank required it because my credit was bad. After getting the loan and speaking with the bank myself they told me they had never heard of such a thing and they did not require the warranty.Desired Settlement: I would like the Laptop I was entitled to I would also like the warranty removed from my bill.

Business

Response:

The Dealership advised [redacted] she was not eligible for the laptop as the rules for such an item were available to new customers who were responding to the promotion and/or were not known to the Dealership or any of its employees. [redacted] was recommended by her mother to contact the Dealership. Her mother is known to the principal shareholder of the Dealership and, as such, [redacted] is not eligible for this laptop.

Review: Bought 2010 Dodge Caliber in June 2013. Everything fine. Brought car in for an oil change in November 2013. Also heard arttling sound in front end brakes. Service rep "[redacted]" said it was the brake bushing and he would see if it was covered by a warranty. After 4 calls to him to said it was and would order the part. After not hearing back weeks later I called left messages for "[redacted]". I finally got a hold of him and he said he forgot. He said he would call me back immediately after he orders the part. Never received a call back. In Early January after now hearing back I called and asked to speak to [redacted] the [redacted]. She claims that [redacted] tried to contact me on my cell. It never hapenned. She put me in contact ahgain with "[redacted]" who said he tried to call me and that he would order the part. Never heard back. Called on January [redacted] ,2014. I was transferred to the service department. I was told ," oh [redacted] he quit."Again after checking the part was never ordered. I have left 3 messages for [redacted] since 2/*. No call back yet. Very disapointed since I am a repeat customer and that no one cares! I am in the Service industry and would never think of not calling back a client. I am tired of excuses and have no other options but to file a complaint.Desired Settlement: I just want the part replaced. This is not a major repair!

Business

Response:

[redacted] made a complaint about his brakes. The [redacted] evaluated the problem which required machining the rotors to eliminate any noise coming from the brakes. The work was performed and the car was road tested without any noise. He was given a courtesy discount for the work. He was happy to have the problem resolved.

Review: Took my car to dealer for a recall service due to me. At that time I allowed other services to be preformed.purchased 4new tires ,oil change,n.y. Inspection & brakes. No complaint on that, but while at the dealer someone removed the fob for the remote start for my vehicle . I informed the [redacted] . At first he denied that I gave it to him,and then remembered it was on my key ring when he took possession of my car. Since then I have been getting the run around from the [redacted] ([redacted]) . Telling me they would replace it, and reprogram the new one.it has been 2 months. I feel that they are hoping I stop calling so they don't have to deal with this problem.

On August ** ,2013 @ 3:45 I called the dealership to talk to the [redacted]. He was not available so I left my name, number, and a brief message to the nature of my call. Letting him know that I have been waiting 2 months for this problem to be fix. Today is Aug.**,2013 he has not returned my call.

I didn't appreciate the fact that something was STOLEN from me when I trusted them with my vehicle .

They were give pictures so they could replace the fob, but refused to give me any paperwork saying they owe it back to me. I was told when they get me a new one then there would be paperwork.

I own a 2010 Kia Sole and the first service at this dealer was a bad experience . They didn't do some of the service I paid for so I no longer went to them for service. The Recall Notice left me no choice. I had to take it to them. I have called weekly to [redacted] in service ,have received maybe 2 calls back always giving Excuses.Desired Settlement: I never want to deal with this service dept or dealership ever again. I would like them to give me enough cash to purchase a new remote start fob and programming of the fob.

[Your Answer Here]

They called and I have forwarded the picture & ID # of the other remote. That was 2 weeks ago. I haven't heard anything back yet. I was told that they need to get in touch with the manufacture to get the replacement . [redacted]. Is the person handling this.

The response to my complaint was immediately after I filed the complaint. It was the manager of Generation Kia. He assured me this would be rectified . Still Questioning The Out Come.

Spoke to [redacted] on 8/*/14 She traded in the vehicle in question and purchased another Kia. I offered to service her new car and give her a Free 1 year maintenance package.

Review: When we went to purchase a vehicle we were asked to leave a deposit on a credit card of debit card in the amount of $200 which we told the saleslady would be a problem to which she informed me it would be returned immediately, it has now been two weeks and after being procrastinated and given false promises we still do not have the money that I made very clear we could not afford to give in the first place.Desired Settlement: I would like the money returned in cash to avoid any more delays or procrastination ASAP.

Business

Response:

This $200 was applied to the car this customer purchased from us. so in fact they already got a credit for there $200. that being said we understand there was a mis communication and thats ok. we deducted the $65 duplicate title fee and mailed a check to the customer yesterday for $135.00.

Review: On April [redacted], 2013, I went to Generation Kia located in Patchogue/Medford area, to lease a 2013 Kia Optima. When I sat with a financial rep, [redacted], to go over things, he called the bank and told me my payments would be $242.00 a month (my budget was $250.00 so it worked out.) Then he told me that due to my not so perfect credit score, that my payments would be a high $492.73 for the first 6 months, to establish credit with Kia. He said if I made those payments on time for the first 6 months, that I could come back in and see him and we could re-due the contract being that I would have established good credit with Kia. I agreed.I told my father what I discussed with [redacted], my father said he wanted to meet with him as well to explain things, so we did about 2 weeks later..[redacted] told my father exactly the same thing he had previously discussed with me. He assured us again, that he does this all the time.On 09/**/2013, a little over 6 months later, I called Generation Kia to make an appointment with [redacted].. the woman on the phone told me he no longer works there! So I made an appointment with another financial rep for 09/**/2013 @ 6:00 pm.On 09/**/2013, I walked into Generation Kia, with a print out of my proof of on-time payments, spoke to another rep and he told me that [redacted] was fired for lying to a handful of customers to make his big commission , I was the 4th person to complain about this. The rep told me that I cannot re-finance a lease, it is unheard of. I told him I would have NEVER signed the contract knowing that I locked myself into paying $492.73 a month for the next 3 years! I could have bought a Mercedes!!!!Desired Settlement: I would like someone at Generation Kia to take responsibility for this verbal agreement I was promised by this man [redacted], who is no longer employed there. I understand I signed a contract, however, I signed the contract under terms to which I verbally agreed with [redacted]. I do not think it is fair that I am stuck in this 3 year lease under false information. Generation Kia has horrible customer service. I have more than proven to be a good customer, I need a resolution. Thank you in advance.

Review: I had recently purchased a vehicle from them. Unbeknownst to me the vehicle came with illegal tinted windows. I was pulled over in Brooklyn and given a ticket for the windows. I called the service manager who directed me to my salesman. I stated that I was upset with how I was sold something without prior knowledge of illegal parts of the car. Initially he said "How is that my problem?". After talking to him he said he would check to see if he could have the tints removed for me and that he would call me back. He never called me back and I had to pay $150 to remove the illegal window tints from my vehicle.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology from the business for selling me something illegal. I also believe that they will continue to sell illegal parts on cars without informing their customers unless something is said or done. I don't believe it is the individual seller's fault. I do wholeheartedly feel that they engaged in bad business practices and turned a pleasant experience to a very terrible one. I would have recommended this company to other buyers but at this point I feel I cannot do that in good conscience.

Business

Response:

We just left this customer a message on his phone. When he returns our call we will apologize and remove the tint at no charge.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

I had to remove the tints immediately at my own personal cost. The cost included a $40 steamer, $10 worth of razor blades/razor blade holder, $30 worth of cleaners and cleaning supplies, a $35 car wash and several hours of my time purchasing items and doing manual labor. I called back the business prior to reading this message, at which time the manager, Jamal, was unable to speak to me. He called me at 4:46, I returned his call approximately one hour later. I would like to reiterate that part of my complaint was that they never initially got back to me until the Revdex.com contacted them. Thank you very much for your help as I am sure that I would never have received any correspondence without you.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

They have not yet returned my phone call. They said they would remove the tints and they are too late for that as I had to remove them personally which cost me between $140-$150. I can obtain receipts/prices for the items purchased to prove how much I had spent to remove the tints.

Review: I brought 2010 kia soul in 12/**/2012 from generation kia in [redacted] when I brought this car with 37,562 miles on it. I brought the extended warranty for $1295.24 that give 100% for everything to 1000000,miles ,in march **,2014 I trade this car in to a kia dealer in [redacted], for another car ,the dealer told me you can get your money back for the extended warranty from generation kia of [redacted] ,I call them in march and I told them I trade the kia soul in with 53,491 miles on it and give all the informant about the trade .they said it will take a few weeks and you should your money back. I call them back in late april and they told me to come in to sign extended service cancellation form, I sign the form in front used car [redacted] name [redacted] he states he will give to the office in the back.and you should get back your money in a few weeks and anything wrong I call back to this dealer 6/**/14 and told me that we will call you back. they never call me back ,that day I call kia warranty company in florida, it call fidelity warranty service, inc. [redacted] ,###-###-#### the guy told me they don't see anything on their computer for extended warranty, I call back to generation kia on 6/**/14 they told me that [redacted] don't work their anymore but a few days ago he did .now I spoke to a guy name [redacted] at kia at###-###-#### he now says you don't get a refund ,the bank get the refund not you ,I told him that funny because I call fidelity warranty in fl , and they cant find anything about that extended warranty,so what happen to 1295.24 that add to my loan when a got this car,and when someone trade a car to a another dealer he see ,what you own and payoff that car ,you supposed to get back that the warranty money because you pay that upfront on the loan. I hope you look in this this all my contract has the money I pay for this ex. warranty,I only use 15,929 miles when I trade the kia soul. .Desired Settlement: total refund for warrantry,I TRADE MY 2001 JEEP LIBERTY WITH THEY Gave 1800,towards this kia soul ,

Review: Dave H[redacted] submitted an auto loan application to two banks without my knowledge. I never spoke to him never asked him or requested him or anyone to submitt any loan application for me. I had two banks call me while I was at work to confirm my identity being I have been a victim of identity theft, I advised the banks immediately that I was at work I did not kow anything about submitting any loan application! I was given the name of the person who submitted the information and the name of the company Generation Kia and was advised by the banks to call the company regarding this issue being this is illegal to do. I did call and spoke to Dave that very day I was furious, he claimed thats what they do to find lowest prices for buy outs and I said NO you do not submit any application for a loan without anyones permission and he said ok I am sorry I will call the banks back and advise them to pull the application. I received a denial of credit letter from the one bank and I checked my credit report and both the banks are listed on there and they should not be. I called both banks was advised that he needs to call them to advise them to pull the application if it was in error otherwise they can not just pull something out of the credit report. I called at 11 am requested to speak with him I was told he was not in but woud be in at 12 and took my name and number and would have him call me back, advised I wanted a call back asap. I did not hear anything from him so I called at 4:36 he was rude huffed and said they are just inquires that show on your credit I said they should not be there number one, number two I received a denial for a car loan and this is on my creidt and you must call the banks and I gave him specific names and numbers on who he needs to contact. He said I already spoke to them advised them it was done in error I said if you did they have no record of that at all and you need to call them and he said ya I will call I said I sure hope you do because I do not want to have to take this a step higher. His responce was....You do what ever you have to do [redacted]!Desired Settlement: I want the two banks contacted immediatly with proof of this issue resolved, This was not an error he made he was well aware of what he was doing but thought he could pull the wool over my eyes. This is illegeal and Fraudulent and this is not legally allowed you can not submitt any loan application on behalf of anyone with out their permission! I want these inquiries removed from my credit report and I want both banks to pull any information they have on me and I want this issue with being denied for a loan taken away. I want the corportate office aware of this I want a call from them, I want his supervisor advised of this and I want to be contacted.
