I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I did provide the evidence that I was delayed more than hours It was included in the claim form packet of information I mailed to your company I was delayed at least this long to the point that it was safer to get a hotel room than wait on the roads any longer due to a bad accident(s) that had traffic snarled for miles Due to the hotel stay, we reached our destination one day late, which caused us to pay the resort for one night that we did not use Therefore, I am requesting reimbursement for this lost night, along with extra gas expense I incurred while having to depart from my destination path in order to find a hotel and then back track to the destination path

The company should have asked for additional information first before denying my claimI would like for the complaint to remain open to see if they follow through with trying to resolve the matter by obtaining the additional information they said they intend to obtain from my doctorOnce they obtain that information, they should refund my moneyThere is still no resolution; only a statement saying they will investigate furtherAt the time I submitted an appeal to them, they should have requested clarification from my doctor at that time but instead they just refused a refundBased on this, the matter remains unresolved

Dear Ms***, CSA Travel Protection and Insurance Services is an administrator of travel protection plans and vacation rental damage protection plans sold through HomeAway.com and their subsidiary site VRBOWe are receipt of your follow- up correspondence on the above referenced matter As you've noted, some travel protection plans available in the marketplace include the coverage of Trip Interruption, which typically provides benefits if you are delayed beyond your scheduled departure date or if you are unable to continue on your trip due to a covered event that occurs during your scheduled travel datesThe Cancellation Protection product you purchased through VRBO does not include this coverageWhile the terms "cancel" and "interrupt" may not be defined, the Travel Insurance Policy advises what benefits are available under "TRIP CANCELLATION BENEFIT" if you are prevented from taking your trip due to a covered event that occurs prior to your departure Formally, a claim has not been filed by you against this policyThe customer service information provided in the March 25th phone call, and our response to your Revdex.com of San Diego complaint, were not denials of insurance claims If you wish for our Claims Department to review the facts of your loss and issue a formal determination, please access the following website to complete a claim form and review a list of the supporting documentation to submit: *** For assistance with the forms and supporting documentation, you can reach our Claims Department toll-free at *** *** Sincerely, *** *** Director of Compliance & Licensing Enclosure/Attachment: Policy Confirmation Letter for #*** including Travel Insurance Policy Cc: Revdex.com of San Diego *** *** Vice President of Operations CSA Travel Protection

Revdex.com:
I'm not satisfied with the resolution because C S A did not take into consideration that anxiety has physical featuresHarvard Health Publications wrote the following report:Anxiety is a reaction to stress that is both psychological and physical features. The feeling is thought to arise in the amygdala, the brain region that governs many intense emotional responsesAs neurotransmitter carry the impulse to the sympathetic nervous system, heart and breathing rates increases, muscles tense, and the blood flow is diverted from the abdominal organs to the brainIn short term, anxiety prepares us to confront a crises by putting the body on alertBut its physical effects can be counterproductive, causing light-headedness, nausea, diarrhea, and frequent urinationAnd when it persists, anxiety can take a toll on our mental and physical health.Dr*** should have discussed my physical symptoms as well as the acute anxiety that I was experiencing when he filled out the first physicians statementI believe he felt that he could get the physical problems under control by treating the anxiety that I was experiencing because of the break up of my sons marriageDr*** is a well respected physician and would not have filled out the second statement if everything he stated wasn't trueHe was more than happy to fill out the second report, If he did not not mention the dizziness and other symptoms in his records, he certainly remembered them at the follow up.For the above reasons I believe C S A should pay the $1900.Thank You *** ***

On August I was transferred to a CSA Travel Protection AgentThis agent from the CSA Travel Protection Company agent assuredly said we would receive a full refund for cancelingI was misinformed by the agent of CSA Travel Protection not my travel agentThe miscommunication is coming from the CSA Travel Company that provides insurance if cases like ours happenTo make it clear, OUR country THAT I SERVE PROUDLYOnce again if I would have received the email dated August 2014, I would have canceled the policySince I was misinformed by the CSA Travel Protection Agent at that time, I obviously cannot get the $owed to me and my familyI am sure if the CSA Travel Protection Representative were in my shoes he would understand what a dis-service this is and how this company does not honor their productThis could have been avoided if the email was sent by the CSA Travel Protection AgentYes I have looked in all my messages and never received one for August
