Ordered a Kenmore Spray Arm for my dishwasher. Was mailed a part that was from Frigidaire and didn't fit the dishwasher.
Immediately after receiving the part, I emailed Genuine Parts to tell them an wrong part was mailed. I went back and forth on emails to get this resolved. They approved my return however when I asked if they were covering the postage they said they weren't
The part mailed to me is for a Frigidaire and I have a Kenmore.During the online ordering process there system asked that the model number be confirmed before placing the order in which I did but the part sent was wrong .

I then opened the spray arm and tried to install it to my dishwasher but the spray arm didn't fit.

I have uploaded my invoice, The shipping receipt that came with the part, picture of my dishwasher label and the picture of the part mailed to me.

Desired Outcome

Refunded for the total cost including shipping.

Customer received the part that was ordered. After further research I was able to confirm with Frigidaire and 3 other sources that this part fits their model (pictures attached). The customer *** need to have a local technician come out to install the part for them. We will not be able to offer a refund for a part that has been used or installed. If the customer would like to return the part for a refund they will have to send the part back following the instructions sent on 03/02/2020.

The Timer we purchased for our GE dryer was damaged in shipment - the good news is that GRP, after getting photos of the broken part, replaced it without hesitation and shipped it to us Priority Mail which effectively saved a day in shipping time. Fast and friendly service.

I have been extremely pleased with the Genuine Replacement folks. They have been extremely helpful, explaining fully what I needed to do to return a wrong part. They also researched the correct part for my refrigerator and sent me the link to order the compatible part. I could not ask for more. Great customer service. Do not order from this company. I purchased a part and paid $148.89 +$6.99 tax + $14.42 shipping =$170.30. When I got it, I had ordered the wrong part. I immediately sent it back. To send it back, it cost me $40!!!!! It took them a month and a half to refund my money and they only refunded me $153.31!!! That was a $56.99 mistake!!! Order from Amazon instead!!! You get a complete refund if there is a mistake!!! I will pass this on everywhere I can!!!

Excellent price for a factory replacement part. Speed of light shipping which was much appreciated! Will definitely recommend and do business with again. Thank you very much.

I contacted thier online support for three times. I called phone support multiple times. One person responded. She said to send them pictures and other details. I did that and no one has ever contacted me. I first contacted *** about the problem within a week after it was delivered to my office. I have documentation via email.

When a customer reports that they think they may have received an incorrect part, it is our policy to request pictures of the part received, and the appliance model number. We must verify that the part sent is different than what was ordered, and we need to make sure the customer ordered correctly. It also helps us to double check that we have everything listed correctly in our inventory.

We attempted tp help this customer, but he never responded to any requests.

on 02/08/20 - the customer said the part didn't fit (via support email)
Our rep - *** responded on 02/09/20 but there was no response from the customer.

On 2-14-130, the customer spoke with our rep *** via Live Chat, she let him know she was sending him an email with the picture requests. She confirmed his email address and sent the email for him to reply to. The customer again failed to reply.

The customer also live chatted with *** on 02/14/20 - he asked for a customer service phone number- it was provided, then he stated his part did not fit and *** asked for the order number to further investigate. At that time the customer left the conversation.

On 02/19/XXXX X of our reps sent an email requesting the pictures and offering support from their personal work emails and still we have not received a response.

I have attached all documentation of our conversations with the customer. Our customer support has attempted to help the customer, but he has not responded to any requests.

Once we receive the requested pictures though email, we can move forward with the refund/return process.

We have nothing to add to this case, we still have not received any requested documentation form the customer. I attached screenshots already showing all communication we have with him and he never responded to our requests.

If he responds by 3/31/20 we can still assist. After 60 days, the order can not be returned.

They state that I did not respond to ***'s email response on 02/09/20. This is a false statement and what I assume is an edited document with my responses removed. The full print out of the email (Exhibit A) shows that I responded on the 11th and then again on the 19th. *** never responded to either emails.
On X-XX-XX I spoke with *** via chat. She sent me an email. I responded the same day with all the information they requested. They did not ever responded. I responded back to the same email again on the 16th and 19th. She never responded. My full print out of the email (Exhibit B) shows they provided another false statement to the Revdex.com when they said I did not respond.
As for the online chat with *** I had already tried email and chat support multiple times. On Chat I simply asked for their support telephone number since I was already not get any help. After they gave me the phone number I disconnected from chat. I did not received any other information in the chat session.
On 02/19/2020 I only received an email saying the case is open (Exhibit C). I did receive an email from the employee's personal email, but only after reading this companies response to this complaint. Their personal emails are classified as Spam. So I was unable to receive any personal emails.
I track all my emails to see if they are opened. This company repeatedly never opened my emails. (Exhibit D)

Visa has told me that regardless of what thier website says, they are responsible for providing a pre-authorized paid mailing label. I should not be responsible or bear the cost of thier mistake.

There is no communication with this company. Just the BS they post here. They haven't provided a RMA. This is just a very bad Company in my opinion. The fake good reviews. The bad reviews on Google are real I'm sure. I will just deal with Visa on this issue. They will give me my money back reqardless of what this scam ripoff outfit does. This is now closed in my opinion. They went out of there way to lie to the Revdex.com. They are ripoff artistist and scamers in my opinion.

Genuine Replacement Parts is taking advantage of customers by raising shipping costs AFTER sale is completed and making it difficult to return items.
I had a broken oven door. I ordered two parts from them on separate invoices to do the repair job. One item was received but the other did not. When I called to see what was happening, they were holding on to the part until I would pay an additional $85.59 for shipping. On their web site I purchased that item and paid shipping. This unposted charge was added AFTER the sale. Due to this being outrageous they offered to fully refund this invoice, which they did. I ordered the parts I needed from another supplier so I could have all items from once single supplier to avoid future issues. I asked them for a return label for the other item I had received. They are declining to do so and are sending me unreasonable instructions for returning the item to a different third party. I never agreed to this return policy nor were they able to produce anything showing that I had agreed to it.

Here are some of the details from their emailed return instructions:
"PLEASE DO NOT DEFACE/WRITE ON THE MANUFACTURER SHIPPING BOX! If you need to wrap the box in plain wrapping paper, please do so to protect the manufacturing shipping box! All returns must be properly packaged and shipped to protect the value of the returned products and all items must be returned in saleable condition, packed in the original box with sufficient packaging materials. "Keep the manufacturer packaging in decent condition for returns. The use of USPS tape, duct tape, writing with sharpies, etc, will make the boxes unable to be resold and will result in denial of your return and refund."

Many of those details are unusual and since I opened the box already to check the contents there is no way to meet these conditions after the fact.

The return issue is related to invoice XXXXXXX. This has not yet been refunded.
The scam involving raising shipping is related to invoice XXXXXXX. This was already refunded.
I tried to resolve this with them (case XXXXXX) several times and they won't even allow me to escalate to the case to a decision maker.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund. I am happy to return this item if they will email me a printable paid return label and I can return it in the same box they sent it to me in.

" In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical, photographic, or technical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, GenuineReplacementParts shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price." Instead of just cancelling, we offered you the chance to keep the order. Sometimes the shipping carrier will increase the freight based on location, size, and delivery method.

Unfortunately, there are times the shipping carrier will increase the price after we submit the information. This varies by carrier, weight, and delivery location. We did ask if he would like to cancel and be refunded, which he did.

We will not under any circumstance provide a label for the other order.

He was incorrect that it was not escalated to management, the Office Manager responded via email on 02/11/20

I got a wrong part from the company. They are delaying return and thereby refund.
I bought a dishwasher inlet valve from this company. In spite of the fact that the part number was clearly mentioned on the company invoice, they sent me a wrong part which had a different number and configuration. When I told them about this they put the onus on me to prove that they sent a wrong part. They asked me to send pictures of the shipping box, part and my dishwasher model number. When I sent them these pictures, they are telling me that they will send it for "deeper investigation". They customer support person on phone told me that it might take several days - about 15 days or more for them to send a label an start refund process. I know what I had ordered and I did not make any mistake in my order. I should have consulted Revdex.com before even doing any business with them.

I just want the business to create a shipping label to me and send my refund as soon as possible.

It is normal practice for us to ask for pictures so we may verify that the incorrect part was sent.

After further investigation, we have found that we did send the incorrect part.

I have emailed a customer a label to the email we have on file. Once the part is returned, we will issue a refund.

We ask that the customer please notify us once the part has been mailed back.

We apologize for the delay, our warranty team was still looking into this to determine how the error happened.

I ordered 2 OEM replacement parts for my KitchenAid fridge. The 1 I received had a tampered with serial number. The 2nd was in generic packaging.
On 2/13/20 I ordered 2 Whirlpool OEM replacement water hoses (WPWXXXXXXXX, WPWXXXXXXXX) for my Kitchen Aid fridge, Model #KSF26C6XYY04. The order # was XXXXXX. On 2/17/20 I received the order. When I opened the box I found 2 items that didn't match what I ordered, namely WXXXXXXXX and WXXXXXXXX. WXXXXXXXX came in a Whirlpool clear bag saying factory certified parts. However there was a black line through one digit of the serial number indicating it was counterfeit and not OEM. WXXXXXXXX was in a solid gray bag (not a Whirlpool bag) where I could not see the part. It appeared that this part was returned once before. Because of the issue with the first item I found this very suspicious and decided not to open either package. After reading through some of the complaints on Revdex.com.org I see this is a standard way this company does business. I am attaching a picture of the tampered with serial number and can provide additional pictures if necessary. There customer service e-mails make you go in loops sending duplicate pictures and basically delaying as long as possible a resolution. It is done on purpose.

Desired Outcome

All I want is to be refunded my money and be allowed to purchased actual OEM parts elsewhere with the correct serial numbers. I do not trust this company for them to send me the correct parts.

Excellent parts and timely delivery! I didn't have to guess about what part I needed, I looked up the model number typed it in to the search and got my part promptly. I put my heating element in and my dryer works like new! The packaging was done with care, a larger box with the box that my part was in inside and bubble wrap and air pocketed plastic wrap. I ordered my part on a Saturday and received it on the following Monday, just as promised. I would definitely recommend this parts store to anyone.

Incorrect description and picture of replacement part.
I received the part number that I ordered. What was incorrect on their site was the description of the part and attached picture of the replacement part for this part number. As a consumer I don't have the knowledge of part numbers, so I go by the descriptions and attached pictures of the part I want to order. When I received the replacement item, it was not what the description said or neither did the item match the picture of what I ordered. After a phone call I was given instruction to return the part, but I was informed I would have to pay the shipping to send the item back. As this part cost $80.89 and it would cost me $54.00 to send it back this is not worth the cost of returning the item.

Desired Outcome

Due to incorrect description and attached picture of item on WEB site, I believe Genuine Replacement Parts should pay for return shipping.

When a customer orders from our site, they must agree that they are shopping by their model number and not basing the purchase off a picture of a part that looks like the part they need. That is what has happened here, the customer has ordered a part that does not fit their model. The customer ordered part number AHTXXXXXXXX and received AHTXXXXXXXX. The issue is they have an appliance model number of LTCSXXXXXD/03 (customer sent a picture to validate the model number) and part number AHTXXXXXXXX is not compatible with model number LTCSXXXXXD/03. As stated in our return policy, we will only cover the cost of return shipping in the event of a shipping discrepancy. If the customer would like to return the part, they will need to follow the return instructions we sent them on 02/07/2020 to receive a refund.

I went on this site and found the part I needed. I was asked to put in my zip code for shipping estimate. The shipping charge was given and it said 1 day for delivery and even gave the date I should receive it. I couldn't ask for better than that so I placed the order. The next afternoon I got an email saying the part would be delivered 4 days after I placed the order. I contacted them by email and they said they could not be responsible for when the shipper delivered it (UPS). Wouldn't it be more accurate to put something like 3-5 days depending on shipper? I feel what they are doing is fraudulent in that they seem to promise 1 day delivery and then blame the shipper later. I needed this part quickly and bought from them because of how fast I was lead to believe I would get it.

I returned a part to Genuine Parts Replacement for refund. The box was never opened and had no damage to it but they denied my refund.

I ordered a Whirlpool Exhaust Blower Fan part number WPWXXXXXXXX for $120.53 December 20, 2019. While awaiting the arrival of the fan I removed my microwave to clean. After removing it I plugged the fan back in to try it and it worked so I re-hung my microwave.

On the day my new part arrived I logged into see into the Genuine Replacement Parts website to see how to return a part. I received an email with directions on how to return it and what actions would prevent a refund. The box I received was in perfect condition when it arrived. The directions told me to put the return number provided in the box with the part. I opened the box and on the interior there was another box with the part in it. I put the return number inside the main box that contained the smaller box with the part and taped it shut. At no time was the smaller box opened an there was no visual damage to the interior box.

I immediately shipped the box back and it was delivered to the Genuine Replacement Parts Warehouse in Indiana on 27 Dec 2019. On 28 January 2020, over one month after receiving the part back at their warehouse I receive an email stating:

"per our return instructions, all parts must be returned in NEW/UNUSED condition. After further inspection of your return, the part has been deemed USED/INSTALLED. Since this part can not be restocked, we will not be able to offer a refund for this return. If you feel your part was damaged in the shipping process, we recommend filing a Damage claim with the shipping carrier you used. The part will be discarded in 2 business days.

Note from the inspector- "This part arrived damaged and therefore does not qualify for a refund. You can file a claim with the shipping carrier for credit"

Since the interior box had never been opened and had no damage it is impossible for it to be in a used / installed condition. There was no damage to the exterior box noted either which means either the part was damaged prior to be shipped to me or the inspectors damaged it upon receiving it. The part could have easily been dropped my them and damaged.

I am requesting the Revdex.com make contact to help me receive my refund.

The part was received damaged at our returns facility. When a part arrives damaged, we can not restock the item so a credit will not be issued. In our return instructions we urge every customer to purchase insurance from the shipping carrier in the event a part is damaged in shipping. We sent the customer pictures of the damage to help his case with the shipping carrier.

We did receive a phone call where the customer yelled at and cussed one our reps out as soon as she answered the phone.

No refund will be offered for this order.

Here is an except form our return instructions the customer received via email

"It is your responsibility for all risk of loss and damage to products being
shipped for return or replacement. Please fully insure return shipment in
case of loss or damage."

Returned Stove Circuit board and was advised it was installed and not eligible for refund.
I ordered the wrong Stove board and sent it back for a refund. The emailed me back stating that since the item was installed it can't be refunded. They sent me a picture that supposedly shows the item was installed and it doesn't. Because I never installed it when I saw it was the wrong board. They also claim the board was brand new, when in fact it was refurbished. They told me I can get the part back for an additional $10 to ship it back. Horrible experience, and they wonder why people use Amazon and not small local business. Below is the picture of the supposed proof of installation. Like I said it was refurbished, of course it shows signs of installation.

Customer sent back a part in used condition,
our website is very clear on the return of used parts, especially electrical parts. Here is an excerpt from our policy

"We DO NOT accept returns on OPENED electrical / electronic parts

NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE

If you plug in the part, open, tear or unseal the plastic or protective wrapping on an electrical or electronic part, we will not accept the return of the part for any reason. These parts are not for DYI customers. These parts are not meant to be tested, and returned if it doesn't fix your issue. Please contact a local professional for a proper diagnosis of your issue. All these parts are factory tested prior to shipping. Electrical parts are easily damaged by improper installation or testing therefore, we cannot accept returns on these items unless they are new, unopened, and unsealed. If you plug in the part, this means you tried the part and so this constitutes as a used part and no longer returnable."

Please know that no refund will be given on this order since the part was installed. The part will be discarded soon unless the customer agrees to the $10 shipping fee to send it back in the next 24 hours.

All of our parts come factory sealed from the manufacturer. We do not sell refurbished parts as the customer claims.

The company refuses to send a picture of the part where they say are signs of installation. The part was not new as advertised, it was refurbished. The part was taken out of the package and determined to be the wrong part. They sent a picture of one terminal that was used according to them, but they cannot provide pictures of any other terminals. This is a total scam they will discard this part, they will resell it. This is a total scam by this company. Their part was never installed. They have 77 complaints on the Revdex.com site.
