Please do not fall for the misleading sales presentation to purchase a vacation package from any Wyndham locationWe bought and paid for our package only to find we were dupedWe resolved our experience in months due to not being able to book any locatiion we wantedWe took a 13,dollar loss to get away from total frustration [redacted] Huntsville,Alabama

I have had an ownership since It has been the WORST decision of my lifeThis "business relationship" has been like catching some kind of incurable STD We battled continuously to get our accounts strait for the first three yearsWe just started getting the correct statements being sent to the right home(I co-own my ownership with my aunt then she has another of her own)That only took seven yearsThe latest, I call I get a notice that I am overdue on maintenance feesThis is an issue because I always pay my maintenance fees lump sum (paid $in March)Long story short, after speaking with a polite but unhelpful rep, she transfers me to the ignorant condescending rep who basically tells me that they yet again applied my payment as they saw fit (regardless of specifications on my check) and that they would not be changing anythingI advised him I would be filing a formal complaint AGAIN

Promises and what actually we got were way differentShown a presidential sweet which my points wont even get meComplaint only turned up we need to buy more points thats why its not working for meGiven no way out that I know of

THIS IS THE WORST TIME SHARE YOU CAN PURCHASE I HAVE SPENT THE GOOD PART OF DAYS TRYING TO RESOLVE THEIR MISTAKE ON MY PURCHASE KEEP GETTING THE RUN AROUND OR PUT ON HOLD AND THE DISCONNECTED DON'T BE A FOOL AND PURCHASE FROM THESE PEOPLETHEY ARE HELPFUL TILL THEY GET YOUR MONEY THEN NO ONE CAN HELP YOU

on May 31,we were offered a gift of $on an amex card at the Great Smoky Mt resortrequirements were to stay for a min presentation and we had free breakfastafterwards we were taken to the representatives desk she was friendly at first until we said noshe then said we were calling her a liar, made my 3kids leave so she could talk to us, and then said "im not gifting you im getting my director " and stormed out of the roomshe also asked why we were there if we wasnt going to upgrade she made us feel very uncomfortable and I tried to explain that we needed to talk about it and not jump into it but she wasnt listeningafter saying no times she gets a manager and she tries to give us another "deal"they were suppose to be refinancing but the payment was more we declined it because refinancing is not making it more expensiveshe said well decline it again and stay in some hotel ive had plenty of people telling me you always declinenever again will I go to a tour or workshop we are so upset we are seriously thinking about selling it so we will never have to deal with mistreatment again

From a county fair we were called and told we had won round trip airline tickets We went to the presentation at Wyndham in Nashville, TN The presentation was supposed to last hours and it lasted over hours before we finally got up and said we were leaving They then awarded us with the certificates for round trip airline tickets with so many restrictions that the certificates were useless While we have been to several timeshare presentations over the past years, this was by far the absolute worst For plus hours of listening to propaganda we got nothing useful in return And they wanted permission to run a credit report for no reason at all because we were not buying and would not have financed even if we did buy Fortunately, we did not give them permission to run a credit report

In a six hour span we had three different reps from resorts/hotels "offer" us comps to shows and different attractions in Las VegasWhen the first guy came up to us, we didn't realize he was taking us to a hotel for a timeshare presentationOn the way there, he tells usSo, we were like whatever, we'll listen and get our comps and leaveTwo and a half hours later...I had to tell the guy that we were doneWe didn't want to buy anything and we don't just spend thousands of dollars without researchHe finally let us go, with our "gifts" but not without sending three more guys to us to try and get us to buyThen we went to go eat dinner, while looking for the restaurant, another hotel guy comes up to us offering us comps off shows since we are on our honeymoonHe said almost the same things as the other guyWe were literally about to do the same thing just to get "comps" for shows and attractionsSo we asked, is this like a presentation because we just got sucked in to one and can't sit through another sales pitchHe goes oh no, no it's not like thatYou're just going to have a meal on us and then do a minute tour of Wyndham resortsWe seriously almost did it again, but I could not imagine wasting more of our vacation listening to sales guys try to sell us stuffSo, we thanked the guy for his time and we walked away but not without him getting aggressive and telling us that it's nothing like the other presentation (yet the brochure he showed us had [redacted] -they first timeshare presentation- on it, so they were clearly affiliated)Then after dinner we were walking through the casino and some guy approaches us AGAINHe was wearing a Wyndham name tag, and by this time I knew the requirement was to be or older, so when he asked my age, I said So my husband followed my leadHe says to my husband, you're 27??? Very much feeling harassed by this company!!!

From the time we purchased our discovery membership, we have had nothing but problems From staying at an apartment with nothing but issues, to their deceptive sales tacticswe are glad that we only agreed to a discovery membership because what we have discovered is that the resorts are never available when you want them, that every time you check in, they try to trick you into going to more sales presentations that they call breakfast with owners At our most recent stay, they had the audacity to offer a free breakfast and once we got there, a sales person asked if we could drive him to another resort where the breakfast was atSeriously? I'm going to put some random person in my car with my family for a "free breakfast" NO THANKS WYNDHAMBy the way, VIP benefits such as free upgrades that they promised with this membership are also a bunch of bull STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANYJust look at how many complaints they have if you don't want to take my word for it We can't wait until our discovery membership is done!

They have one goal to sell you- I was brought to different reps I went for the free getaway Watched their min talk which was not heavy handed- but thats when I starts 1) see these are your options....my reply- I want to think about it No time because you see this extra special option disappears if you don't sign today Ok I am willing to walk so then #2) comes over the supervisor says listen we can even do a better deal I say the same to him and he does the following: your finacial advisor would want you to sign- call him now don't wait also insulted where I was from- you new yorkers are just stuborn- thats why you aren't saying yes you know its a good deal still said no #3) the woman saying can you give us feedback how was the deal, the exerpeince I told her I wasn't interested still- and then her attitude changed to let me take you up front and get you out of her By the way I was made to sign papers knowing I would never get the extral special VIP deal if I came back What bad customer service why would I want to stay with them if I get treated so poorly

I am a current Wyndham Vacation Owner and I would have to agree with most of the negative reviews! I feel like I am trapped in a never ending cycle of lies! I purchased in and over the years, this has been one of the worst decisions that I made! After sifting through the online system, I can rarely, if at all, book a vacationEven if I start months in advanceIt is NOT worth it!! I was on vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC and was told at check in that I needed to attend an Owner's update meetingWhat a horrible experience! The young lady that was assigned as my vacation counselor, started out really nice with a fluff conversationShe attempted to get me to sign a form, that when I questioned her about it, she indicated that they were going to do a "soft inquiry" on my creditI refused to sign the form and made her give it to meAnother representative then comes over and tried to further pressure me with a high pressure guilt trip sales pitchAgain, I said, "no" and informed them that I really needed to leave because I was meeting the rest of my family for an outingThe guy wouldn't stop!! After repeatedly telling them no, I was finally(minutes later) allowed to leaveAt check in, I was promised that if I attended this "short update for Owners" that I would receive a wine and cheese setThis was a total lie!! Once I refused to buy additional points, I was presented with a wooden cutting boardI explained to the lady that was checking me out that I was told at check in that I would receive a wine glass and cheese set but this is a cutting board She then looked at me and said in a very condescending tone "that is a wine and cheese set"I was floored because clearly I could see that this was a cutting board not wine glasses and cheese setNot only did I waste half a day of my vacation time but the representative tried to pull a fast one over and the second representative was extremely rude and insultingNot to mention, the check out person was rude and condescending!!! I wished that I knew back in what I know now, I would have NEVER ever made this purchase! Even though I requested a follow up, and that was in December 2014, I am still waiting in January for that follow up! Do not purchase this!!! Trust me when I say you will regret it and this is coming from a current Wyndham Vacation Owner!

On July 1st we checked into Wyndham Resorts in North Myrtle Beach, S.Cand when I made the reservation I asked for a bedroom oceanfront and also a room on the 3th or 4th floor...when we got there we were giving a bedroom oceanview...When I inquired about this to the front desk I was told to call a 1-number the next day...well they told me to go back to the front desk and speak with someone there...the manager (Erika) told me that I should have been glad that I got that room because I could have been giving a room with no view in Tier 4..which was in the back...the manger was friendly at all & we paid $a night for this room and to be talked to and treated like that was un-expectable!
We also had the sale from the resort on Saturday morning and was told that we didn't have to listening but minutes but we were there for hours and we said "no" and the sales person was very upset with us and started making what he call smart remarks to my husband....will never go back to this place...I can go to better places for less money and not be treated like that!!!!!

I was offered dollars cash to attend a 1/to hour informational seminar about Wyndham while I was vacationing in Branson, MO This was on Tuesday March 17th, I went to the "seminar," which turned out to be me and my three kids at a table with one hard-pitching salesman who was nice at first, but then turned rude and hateful when he FINALLY got it that I wouldn't be pressured into buying something on a whim He said that I was probably not a good fit for whydham, that they are very selective...insinuating that I wasn't "good enough" for their hotels I'm a teacher with a credit score in the 800s Not a good fit? He also insinuated I wasn't being a good mother by not having a time-share for my children to enjoy He was very rude, and this upset me and my kids and left a bad mark on our fun little trip to Branson
Later, researching Whndam, I found out he has also lied to me about several things during his sales pitch Very misleading I am SO GLAD I didn't sign up for this

Do not get into this horrible timeshare!!! I purchased in 2006, maintenance fees $per month, I never though they would rise to $per month-People, do the math, $X months, plus cleaning fees, rollover points to RCI and if you use this option it's at least another $150.00.I have lost so much money with Wyndham ResortsI can say every year all Wyndham and RCI Resorts on the East Coast beaches are booked!!! The past two years Wyndham representatives tell me what is available for the time I'm looking at so it's what they have "available"I also lost 207,points due to me not "rolling the points over to RCI" which was not told to me when I purchased thisI would rather Wyndham roll them over instead of losing points, you can't get in touch with a customer so you think they would rather lose their points rather than roll them over? GIVE ME A BREAK!!! and I would like my 207,points back

Sales person was nice during presentation, but after presentation they kept trying to sell their pointsI've never experienced so much pressureI've talked with different sales person including their supervisorThey tried to sell me points worth of $23.000, with interest in years I'd end up paying $36.000? seriously? do you know how many vacations can I take for that money? I wish I've read Revdex.com revives before I went there, unfortunately I didn't know where I was going
They tell you to use common sense, and I didthat's why I didn't buy and they kept offering me cheaper dealsI wasted good hours ( where I've been told minutes max)They asked me to fill out form where they needed my Social Security Number, they wouldn't let me read, and I asked why is that? I've been told just to check that I haven't been in Wyndham Club beforeLIENow I have hard inquiry on my credit report
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM

Don't purchase this! It isn't worth it I have POA for my parents, my mother has passed away, and this deal was no deal at all It is a money pit and will be a liability for your posterity We have paid but no one is allowed to use it or it is un-useable.--not worth inheriting After further investigation I found my folks had to call way ahead or use it at Wyndham's convenience
For all who have claimed that their exaggerated promises and even outright lies, I have to concur No one that I've talked to has been helpful or truthful
For those of you who are already in this nightmare--take names and dates when you call I even had one associate offer to email me information but claimed it would take days When does it ever take days to email a form BTW, I have yet to receive that email
No parent wants to hand this raw deal down to their children My father is now distraught over this and the death of my mother Don't do business with this business You will be mired in small print and deceit

We went to a presentation in Nashville, TN in May which was supposed to take minutes SIX HOURS later, we left owning 105,credits for $21, We had been shown a map with all the locations where we could use our credits to vacation across the country and Hawaii Our credits were available for use beginning October 1, In attempting to make reservations for a week vacation in CA, FL or LA, I discovered that the vast majority of these resorts required substantially MORE than the 105,credits we owned in order to stay in a studio or one bedroom for a week In other words, our credits are worthless They do NOT roll over into the next year so they cannot be combined with a future year We were sold a worthless product

I was degraded by your Timeshare employee Dave in Vegas at the ***He loved us until I told him I could not afford another monthly paymentHis remark was you need to get a jobHe took us to a resort and told us before we opened the door that none of us could afford the place he was going to show us, very nastyWhy did he even show us? When we got back he threw down the paper and said sign itMost horrible experience of my life and embarrassingWe were promised by Ramon the day before this would last only minutes not the 31/hours we were there wasting our Vegas timeI have read all the horrible experiences people have had and you should all be very ashamed of the scam you haveWe were promised nothing would be forced on us which is a lie

I won airline tickets to be used two at a time over the period of two years if I would attend a hour presentation hours later and two representatives later, my husband said, this is not for us We were told again and again we would not be pressured This was by far the most uncomfortable promo I have ever attended I went online to use two of my "free" airline tickets It would cost 4,for the hotel and taxes for nights I have traveled all over Europe and never had to pay $per night for a hotel hours wasted! After reading other reviews, I am so glad not to have bought into this business Don't believe the you've won thing

Rude service and inconsiderateAfter reading the reviews, I am glad we did not purchase with WyndhamOur representative tried to play the race card with us, talking about your my brother and sister I'll make you a deal, then started mocking my husband when he realized he wasn't making a saleNot to mention the nasty food they serviced and had the audacity to call it breakfastShame on youThere is a reason you have all negative reviews on this site

Our experience with Wyndham Vacations has been a nightmare from the beginningDespite Wyndham's claims to the contrary., the presentation was excessively long and 1/hours, the sales tactics are high pressure, the presenter and manager were both insulting and there was an empty promise of a large breakfast ( never happened) and a delicious , filling lunch ( a small piece of chicken and a few green beans)When we met with a sales agent following the presentation, we were very clear that we had no intention of buying a $100,time share, especially Last July when the Canadian dollar was at an all time lowThe agent said he has never heard of such an excuse beforeHe left for a minute and brought two managers with himI asked him why he had down thisHe said ithey were meeting everyoneI mentioned that I had not seen any of these men introducing themselves to anyonelseThe one manager invited us into his officeHe sad to my husband " you have your hands full with that one, don't you?" I was insulted and told him soHe insisted it was a complimentWe disagreed on that pointwe restated that we had no intention of buying such an expensive time shareHe suggested a Discovery Vacation...a small amount of money to try out the time share for a brief periodWe agreedShortly after arriving home from Las Vegas, we recieved a letter stating our bill was overdueAs I had paid with a credit card, I was confusedI tired several times, by phone and email to reach WyndhamWyndham NEVER responded backSeveral months later, I called and an agent asweredI told her I was trying to make payments by phone, and had received confirmation numbers for paymentShe told me that I am not permitted to make payments with a credit card by phone for Discovery VacationsThat wa news to meI paid it in full, when I was on the phone with that agent Our paper work says we have until July to use the vacationHowever, our website account says we had u til this last March to use the vacationOnce again, I tried to reach Wyndham, with no successThis has been an Incredibly nightmarish and frustrating experienceI would never recommend Wyndham to anyone and will never do business with them again
