I would like to file a complaint about Cash For iphones They are a fraudulent company and should not be able to do business They quoted me hundreds of dollars for my iphone 5s and then once they received it said it was only worth $ The phone is in perfect condition with all packaging and charges still in original wrapping What can be done about this company?

This company is a total scamUnderstand that if you send them you're phone, you will never see it again if you disagree with their "estimate"
I sent it an iPhone 64GB in excellent condition on the basis of their estimated $payoutA week later I received their "offer" of $When I called to have them send it back, they said it was already "processed" and the deal was done
This company needs to be shut downOtherwise, the State of Nevada is just as guilty

Awful bait-n-switch business Offered $for an iPhone saying it was scratched (it wasn't) Lengthy hold time on the phone - trying to discourage me from completing the call Rude person in the 'purchasing' department Tried to convince me that the phone was worth less than it was and she would offer more because I was on hold so long Despicable, despicable business Do not use under any circumstances
After insisting that they return my phone they rudely hung up on me and sent me an email link asking me to reconsider the original $offer

Quoted $100+ got offered $19
Then they sent bad check . . .

Do not use this company. All of the reviews on this site are correct. They give you a run around and put you on hold to discourage you.
Don't make the same mistake I made in believing this was an honest business.

This is a horrible company. I was originally quoted $235 for my iphone 5 32GB ATT&T phone. I called every day after 1 week and they kept saying that it's in route. So I stayed persistent can continued to call. After the 2nd week, they confirmed the receipt of my phone but that it would take a tech 4-5 business days to appraise it and that they would send me a email offering the price. 2 and a half weeks later, I was told that they appraised my "mint" condition phone for $28. That was ridiculous! They also claim that they sent me an email regarding my offer. I checked religiously (even in my spam) because, by then, I had a bad feeling about this whole thing.
When I called last, I was held on hold for over 33 minutes. When someone finally picked up, I was offered $90. She said that my phone is now old and hard to resell. I said that they held my phone for an extra week and a half and that the price probably continued to go down. I said I wanted my phone back. Then, she put me on another hold, then the phone got disconnected. I am very angry!! Don't use this company to sell your phone!!

This company is a scam! We followed instructions and was quoted $90 each for both of our iphones 4S. The phones were in great shape and had always had a case on them. Once they received the phones, they lead us to believe we would get $180 but at the last minute they tell u s that we were only getting $14 for one and $5 for the other...they claimed that we had only 3 days to either accept the offer or declined, but we never did see the offer or when we did, they claimed the 3 days was up...they send a ton of useless emails and do a juggling act to confuse you on your order.

I would like to file a complaint about Cash For iphones. They are a fraudulent company and should not be able to do business. They quoted me hundreds of dollars for my iphone 5s and then once they received it said it was only worth $22. Review: I sent in my iphone and they gave me a quote for $247 for a iphone 5 32GB on verizon. They finally received the phone and gave me a quote for $39 based on the "condition of the phone" When I sent in the phone, it was in almost perfect condition. It has been in a otterbox the entire time of having the phone. This is for an order under [redacted]. He is my brother in law.Desired Settlement: I want the full amount they originally quoted me $247 or send me my phone back. This is ridiculous for they to give me that little.

I sent a iPhone 5s and 5c that was in excellent condition. I was quoted over $450 and when I saw the amount they said I would recieve was significantly lower only $45 for big phones. When I tried calling they hung up on me the first time after holding for 22 min. And when I continued to call I would was unable to speak with anyone. After about 4-5 days I was finally able to get someone on the line and I was notified that payment was already made. I asked for if I could return the payment and get my phones back and they refused. Do not use this company they are completely fraudulent.

Review: The company offered me 177 for my iPhone . Then they changed it to 17. I called customer service and they was rude very until helpful .Desired Settlement: I want my iPhone back

Review: I was quoted $296 for a gallaxy S4 phone that I was looking to sell. I sent two into the company along with a used iphone. One gallaxy phone was brand new and the other one was 2 months old and in great shape. So, again I was quoted 296 dollars for each of the gallaxy phones. I received $71 for both phones. This is unexceptable as it is a huge price difference than what I was quoted. In addition, they have not stated if they are going to return the iphone that they didn't end up buying.Desired Settlement: I would like the rest of the money that I was quoted!

Awful bait-n-switch business. Offered $33 for an iPhone 5 saying it was scratched (it wasn't)... Lengthy hold time on the phone - trying to discourage me from completing the call. Rude person in the 'purchasing' department. Tried to convince me that the phone was worth less than it was and she would offer more because I was on hold so long.... Despicable, despicable business. Do not use under any circumstances.

After insisting that they return my phone they rudely hung up on me and sent me an email link asking me to reconsider the original $33 offer...

Review: I was quoted $231 for my iPhone 5S which is in perfect working order--I have photos of the phone. After mailing the phone to the cash for iPhones company, I got told my phone was worth $31. I have called, emailed, and sat on hold for up to 30 minutes at a time. I get transferred to purchasing each time and no one answers. I rejected their offer via email and on the phone and they still have my phone.Desired Settlement: I want my $231.

Review: This company buys back old iphones. I got a quote from this company for my brand new iPhone 5s for 260 dollars. I sent it in and when they inspected the phone they offered me an extremely low price for it at 40 dollars. I emailed back that I reject the offer and got an auto responder email that it will be responded to within 48 hours. I tried calling the customer service line and the only department said to be able to help me is Purchasing which never actually picks up the phone. You wait on hold for 20 minutes plus and then it just disconnects. There is a three day period of accept or reject the offer and then they just pay you what they originally offered. I have emailed saying that I have rejected all offers and want my property back and just keep getting autoresponder emails. I have called 8 times and been on hold for hours with no help. This company makes it incredibly difficult for you to get a hold of anyone who "can help you" and then just pays you what they offered which is a fraction of the original quote once the three day period is over. Deceptive and predatory practices.Desired Settlement: I want my phone back or I want the original quoted price of $260.

Review: Cashforiphones.com is a website where you sell your old iphone.

I was quoted over $80 for my phone. After sending the company my phone, I received an email "congratulating" me that they would be sending me $17. I immediately wrote the company an email demanding my phone back (in the form of a 93A Demand Letter). 3 days later they responded to my email saying that all requests for return had to be by phone, and not by email (odd consideration my entire transaction was online).

Further, when I called, the company informed me that any requests for return had to be made within 3 days, and because I hadn't made my demand for return on the phone, they were not going to give me my phone back. It appears that they waited the 3 days period to respond to my email to preclude me from getting my phone back.

I returned my phone in perfect condition and with all cords. The representative told me it had minor wear and tear, but did not provide me with more detail. When I complained about the amount they were offering to send me, the representative on the phone informed me that "she cannot control the market." In response, I went online, with the representative still on the phone, and found that they were still quoting $83 for the phone.

Further, I was told that they "paid" me $17 on my paypal account. No money has hit that account.

I had a horrible experience. I have filed a complaint with the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, but I have not yet received a response.

To hear the stories of numerous other people across the country who have also been deceived by this company, please review their [redacted] account: [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want them to provide me with the $83 quoted on their website. Thank you.

Review: I sold a iphone5 with a quote of 146.00 - they determine the actual sale price after they receive the device. After receiving the device they said they will give me 13.00.

After emailing them on April 8th asking to get the device returned to me they said I had to cl the purchasing department. The purchasing department everyday put me on hold for 5 days for over an hour each time then did a courtesy disconnect. Then after it was past the required days I finally got someone on the phone that said she would not return the device because I didn't call within the 5 days. They have a record I called within the 5 days but no one answers the phone. They offered an additional 17.00

For the phone but I already refunded them their 13.00 beacause I want the phone back. Then she said she would not give me the 17.00

Beacause I was upset.Desired Settlement: I want my phone returned to me.

Review: When going on the website (http://www.cashforiphones.com/) and putting in information for a Verizon iPhone6, I was given an estimate of $573.

I had a flawless condition phone that I sent them. It was less than a week old and had a hard plastic back case and hard plastic screen cover.

They sent me a box to ship my phone back to them. When I received it, I packed up my iPhone and charger and sent it off. Still flawless condition, and in their box.

When I got a quote, the quote was for $83. That is $490 LESS than what the website I says I might receive for my device... and again, it was in FLAWLESS condition.

I called to complain. 10 minute wait before I talk to the first person. She says I need to go to the purchasing department... so I'm on hold for another 15 minutes before [redacted] answers.

I tell her my complaint and she argues that my phone had wear and tear on the screen and visible scuffing, especially on the back cover.

I tell her that's absolutely not possible because I inspected it myself.

[redacted] then tells me she will match a competitors offer. After a few seconds, decides she can offer me $135 instead of the $83 I was quoted in email, or the $76 she had on her sheet. (how does the price keep droppping?)

I asked her where she got that price, and she responded "Gazelle.com".

I told her I was also on the Gazelle website and for a Verizon iPhone 16GB that is in "good" condition and they are offering $385.

She asks me to wait a minute, then apologizes and says she pulled up the wrong page. (WHAT?!?!)

Now her highest and final offer is $300.

That does NOT match the $385 Gazelle is offering for a "good" condition phone (mine was flawless, less than a week old, remember!)

I have asked them to return my phone to me, and will be waiting for it to arrive in the next 5 days.Desired Settlement: Given how much they came down on price, then tried to bully me into accepting a lower price, I can't see them coming good on their deal. I only chose them because they quote significant higher than their competitors..

But their competitors come good on their offered prices.

I either want a near mint condition iPhone returned to me, or I want $400 for the sale of it.

I could have sold that iPhone on ebay for over $500.

Review: Fraudulent company. I received notification that my ohone was received by this company on August 12th- today is September 22. I have sent 9 emails to this company providing my password which they requested. I have waited on hold for their customer service for over 1 hour and 45 minutes on 4 seperate occasions. After stating that I am aware that this is a bait and switch company and demanding my hone back I was hung up on. THen upon a return phone call by me I was told that my phone was being processed and hung up on again. I have no idea what this means. I will be contacting law enforcement for theft of property and breech of contract. However the address they provided is a fraudulent address. I want my phone back or money promised to me $145Desired Settlement: I want my phone back in its original condition
