Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.By the time Colin spoke with me, I had already been told by two different customer service reps that my issue could not be fixed and that they were sorry for the inconvenience but there was nothing they could doColin was the first person who mentioned being able to fix the problem and I was only contacted by him after sending many messages and letting them know I had contacted the Revdex.comHad someone simply told me at the beginning that they would work on fixing the problem, I would have been happy with that solution but I feel that the service I received from the first two reps was lacking as they offered to do nothing to help meI very much appreciate Colin reaching out and helping me cancel my contractHe was polite and helpful and that was the first I experienced of that type of support from PlaysterI have used the shipping label to return the tablet and headphonesI'm sure they will make sure the contract is cancelled as soon as those items are received Sincerely, [redacted] ***

We're still very sorry for ***'s experience of Playster, and we're disappointed that we were not able to reach a resolution[redacted] brought to our attention two important issues: firstly, the misuse of our banner ads on an external site, and secondly, an unsatisfactory response from our customer support team Thanks to his feedback we've been able to make positive changes to the way we monitor how people are advertising on our behalf, and the way customer support representatives communicate in cases such as ***'s, which they are not used to handling.In our efforts to resolve this with [redacted] we took the following action:- Apologized to [redacted] for his experience and the way he was made to feel when he brought these issues to our attention;- Submitted a take-down request with an advertising network that was misusing our creative, and ensured that the page in question was removed;- Offered [redacted] a refund of his membership fee;- Offered [redacted] an extended free membership to Playster.We apologize again to [redacted] for this experience, and can assure him that the offers we've made will always be available to himWe genuinely appreciate his diligence and courtesy in explaining these issues to us, and wish him all the best in the future.Kind regards,Colin S [redacted] Communications Manager, Playster

Hello there!By the time this complaint had come through, we'd already resolved it with *** We're disappointed that we were not able to provide her with the solution she'd hoped for, but we also completely understand her position and would be more than happy to end her contract early and
refund her initial charges.We've just sent her a return label so that she can return her Playster Combo Box, and once we receive it back in the warehouse we'll cancel her membership.The issue *** has raised is not affecting all customers, and is something that can be resolvedHowever, she told us that she'd like to cancel her contract anyway, and it's important to us that she's happy with the outcome.We apologize to *** for the unsatisfactory experience that she's had, and I'd encourage her to contact me personally on *** if she has any problems returning her device.Kind regards,Colin S*Communications Manager, Playster

I understand that you don't have "control" of the content but you allow this to happen, that honestly is a cop-out. I already cancelled my subscription and refuse to do business with a company that uses deceptive marketing practices as your company does and I am sure will continue to do. I will address this with the Revdex.com and the DOJ to assure that this is fully addressed as well as taking it to social media to assure other students aren't "duped". This is the initial site then it directs you to your site***Then it takes you here***Then to your site. ***
You know about this as the customer service person stated (Chantal/Shantal?) when I spoke to herYou choose to allow this practice and it is deceptive and the business is unethical because of this.

Hi ***,I'm very sorry that you felt misled as you were looking for books. Playster does allow you to download books to your device using our Android and iOS mobile appsOnce you've found the title you're looking for inside the app, click the download icon (which looks like an arrow) next
to the title and you'll be able to download itYou still have to use the Playster app in order to read the book, but you don't need to be connected to the internet once it's downloaded.I hope that this kind of download mechanism suits your needs!
