Hi ***,We've tried absolutely everything to identify this problem We're seeing logs of successful logins from your device in our database, and even set up a simulator of your device and account with which we were able to log in successfully ourselves here.We greatly apologize if there's a glitch on our end that we've not been able to uncover, but we're at a loss as to what's preventing you from logging in at this point It's certainly the only time we've ever seen this.If you would be happy to continue using the product in your browser or on a different device, we will keep your account open Otherwise, we would of course cancel your membership and refund all charges.Please let me know how you'd like to proceed.Kind regards,Colin S*Communications Manager, Playster

next hours.We work with a number of advertising networks, and whenever a breach of policy is brought to our attention we serve a notice to these networks to ask that the applicable publisher either becomes compliant with our policies or stops using our ads In your case, we have identified sites which are clearly in breach of policies and if the networks cannot make these sites compliant then we will stop working with them altogether.We are implementing new policies now which we believe will all but alleviate this issue in the coming weeks, but please stay in touch and let us know of any further examples.Kind regards,Colin S*Communications Manager, Playster

As you can see from the screenshot that was taken this morning I sill can not log in to the app. Since I can't log in and your only other solution is for me to cancel the service and get a full refund I would like to do that. I don't like this solution, but it seems to be the only one you have. It's also possible that the book you were looking for just isn't available in your location due to licensing conditions. Hi [redacted],To set the record straight I was waiting to get the full report from my credit card.To date Playster made 14 payments of 24.95, total of $349.30, not $424.15 as they claim.There were 3 payments of 24.95 credited to my account on 2/* and an additional 11 payments of 24.95 credited to my account on 2/**. I do not want to be greedy. I just want them to acknowledge the true amount that they made (74.85 short from what they claim they paid and 99.80 less than what I thought they owed me). The amount is not as important for me as their antics.As far as I am concerned, I do not wish to continue going after the rest of the money, but do wish to add a note of warning to others.

I sent the link to the url and it is live not a dead link. Funny how you email me outside of the Revdex.com site and then when you receive my out of office email you respond to the Revdex.com. It is not my responsibility to check the other links it is YOURS. The onus falls upon the company to assure they are following ethical business practices, your company is more concerned about getting new business than you are about the customer and the customer experience. A great example is the run-around I received when I called the company being transferred to people that didn't exist or people taking messages saying nobody works in the office.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.By the time Colin spoke with me, I had already been told by two different customer service reps that my issue could not be  fixed and that they were sorry for the inconvenience but there was nothing they could do. Colin was the first person who mentioned being able to fix the problem and I was only contacted by him after sending many messages and letting them know I had contacted the Revdex.com. Had someone simply told me at the beginning that they would work on fixing the problem, I would have been happy with that solution but I feel that the service I received from the first two reps was lacking as they offered to do nothing to help me. I very much appreciate Colin reaching out and helping me cancel my contract. He was polite and helpful and that was the first I experienced of that type of support from Playster. I have used the shipping label to return the tablet and headphones. I'm sure they will make sure the contract is cancelled as soon as those items are received.

Although it is a positive comment that Colin claims that new policies are in place (if indeed they are), it should be known that most of the work involved was done by myself. Some weeks ago, he blocked my original email address and thus further complaints about links could not be sent to Playster.I spent many weeks of my life trawling the internet, contacting obscure hosts and submitting what seemed endless requests to Google to delist infringing websites and to submit many [redacted] requests. The scale of the degradation of my work was very significant indeed and involved Playster advertisers using hijacked domain names belonging to genuine online businesses, simply to proport to offer downloads of my work that do not exist. There is evidence to show that Playster profit very significantly from the behaviour.The business clearly admits the problem and thus it is clearly responsible for the degradation of my work.Some of their affiliates are Russian spammers, one of which was previously an affiliate with another company behaving similarly, and thus they clearly do not do many checks on their advertisers, for anyone and everyone that can make a blog or a website can be an affiliate it would appear. Many other authors have noted the same problem, with some having sent Cease and Desist Letters to no effect.There are screenshots attached showing the nature of the degradation and false advertising.Playster also have not paid an invoice for the admin spent on the matter which is now past due, at least 100 hours over some months. As they have admitted the problem and know that they have caused me a loss of time and energy, then it would clearly be morally and ethically right for them to settle the bill as an informal way of being sorry for the harm caused (namely being a part of a mass advertising campaign to falsely advertise and represent authors works, for profit, and at the expense of authors), upon which I would then be happy to consider the matter informally and privately resolved with the business.[redacted]

According to Mr. Colin S[redacted], Communications Manager, Playster,  the full amount will be refunded. He said that it may take up to 10 days but to please let him know if I don't see it.To date, only 3 payments have been made by Playster, 24.99 each. There should be 18 payments refunded. (74.85 out of 449.10).

We're still very sorry for [redacted]'s experience of Playster, and we're disappointed that we were not able to reach a resolution.[redacted] brought to our attention two important issues: firstly, the misuse of our banner ads on an external site, and secondly, an unsatisfactory response from our customer support team.  Thanks to his feedback we've been able to make positive changes to the way we monitor how people are advertising on our behalf, and the way customer support representatives communicate in cases such as [redacted]'s, which they are not used to handling.In our efforts to resolve this with [redacted] we took the following action:- Apologized to [redacted] for his experience and the way he was made to feel when he brought these issues to our attention;- Submitted a take-down request with an advertising network that was misusing our creative, and ensured that the page in question was removed;- Offered [redacted] a refund of his membership fee;- Offered [redacted] an extended free membership to Playster.We apologize again to [redacted] for this experience, and can assure him that the offers we've made will always be available to him.
