Scammed by Gettransfer.com - buyer beware
recently tried reserving a transfer from Grenoble to ales Deux Alpes. I asked them if I could change the timing of my ride they suggested that I send them a note and they will speak to the driver. Instead they cancelled the order even though I spoke to the driver and he was willing to adapt the ride. I chose instead to cancel for other reasons and I got an email quoting my email that they never responded too saying they will only reimburse the 550 euros to my account for future use. Okay I get it but when I asked them why they did it if they never checked with the driver and only cancelled the service. The agent slammed the phone down and they have not picked up any calls. I am now reporting them in particular Oguzhan Catalagac was rude and slammed the phone on me… really feel ripped off! I am sure the CEO ALEXANDER Sepov would not stand for this! Please act on it!

Failure to provide refund for a cancelled trip that met all of the criteria of their cancellation policy.

Jan 9, 2020 - Ordered online travel transfer on gettransfer.com for travel from Interlaken, Switzerland to Venice, Italy for travel date of May 14, 2020. Cost of trip was $967.10 USD.
Mar 16, 2020 - Initial cancellation and request for refund due to mandated travel shutdown of the COVID-19 pandemic issued by the airlines and the countries of travel.
Mar 22, 2020 - Gettransfer.com offered a credit for future travel and asked if that was acceptable.
Mar 23, 2020 - We declined the offer and requested a full refund since we don't have any plans for future travel abroad and we were well within the cancellation period for this trip.
May 22, 2020 - No refund was issued as of this date. Sent another request for our refund.
Jul 14, 2020 - No refund was issued as of this date. Sent a follow-up request for our refund. They responded claiming no refunds until the end of the pandemic as well as all other cases specified in some new user agreement that they decided to come up with.

At this point, it's likely I will never get my money back from this shady, dishonest organization. They basically stole my money and won't give it back.

Desired Outcome

Full refund of my money in US Dollars.

This was the complaint

n the past I have always gotten an email from the driver the day before pick up. I got no such email this time and was generally concerned about my transfer which was booked for 1030 am.

My flight arrived early in Miami. As early as 0930 I started trying to contact the driver to find out where to meet him. I called and emailed the numbers on the voucher - no response. I went into the app and sent him a chat. No response. I then texted him. No response. I then started trying to contact customer service - no answer on the numbers provided. I then tried the Facebook Chat - which just kept asking for the booking number and advising I would be contacted by a manager. I then tried calling the driver again, which did not get an answer but a text saying "I'll call you later" (this was at 1030 now). At 1045 someone from your office called me and said the request had been for downtown Miami and that the driver was now coming to the airport and it would be an hour. And I was advised that the driver would be so late because he had been at the "originally booked location" on time.

This is completely unacceptable. Even if The booking location was incorrect, I had been communicating to the driver my name and location for over an hour, with no response. In addition, your customer support was not responsive or available to help.

I trust you agree this is unacceptable behavior and service and respectfully request you refund the $61 charge to my credit card immediately.

This was their response:
My name is ***, I am the manager of GetTransfer Support Department.

You did not mention that your pick-up point is the airport which accordingly influences the price and the distance.
Please be informed that we registered this case as "No show". The driver has sent us the proof he was at the pick-up point for 15 minutes of free waiting time.
We have to compensate the carrier for his time, gas, etc. According to our User's Agreement, we cannot refund you.

I responded:

With all due respect, your driver is useless. I tried to contact him for over an hour and he refused all methods of contact. Even if I had made a mistake, I could have corrected if he had simply answered the phone, returned my email, Responded to the chat function on your app or responded to my texts - all of which began an hour before scheduled pick up and indicated my proper location.

In addition, your customer support was also useless in that the numbers Listed on the app and on the voucher all went unanswered - again with calls that started 1 hour prior to scheduled pick up. If either the driver or customer support had been responsive, this could have all been worked out. However the only response I got was a telephone call from your rep 15 minutes AFTER scheduled pick up advising the driver was on his way and it would be an hour before he arrived.

I respectfully ask you elevate this refund request to your manager for review. Had it not been for the ineffective and non responsive driver, and/or the lack or response on the part of your customer service support team, I could have made the necessary adjustments and used the service. However, your organization failed in its service by not being responsive on either part. Should you continue down the path of refusal or continue to place blame on me as the customer and not take any responsibility for the failings on the part of the business, I will have no other recourse than to report this to the Revdex.com as well as my Credit Card company and other agencies.

Desired Outcome

I seek a full refund of the $61 dollars and would like an admission from the organization that they were responsible (even if only partly) for their failing. While the address may have been incorrect, their driver and *** were completely uncontactable in the period leading up to the reserved ***, which made it impossible to correct any issues.

Do not pay out refunds as per contract at reservation
My retired parents in their 70's are out US$357 that was gladly taken at reservation in the fall of 2019. Reservation states that the trip can be cancelled up to two days before travel with a full refund. Flights and ride cancelled due to COVID-19 travel restrictions early 2020. I got roundabout in e-mails and on calls (my parents are in Finland). A quick internet search reveal that this is par for the course, just keep travelers money against contract at reservation. I wonder how much money they sit on with no service expenses (no car, no gas, no driver, no airport fees, no road tolls, etc.) just take reservations demand payment in full...

Refund my parents Mastercard $357 (or send me a check for $357.)

I was promised a full refund for a service that was not provided. Now the company refuses to give me my money back.
I used this website to book a private car transfer for my birthday this year. I had to cancel due to the covid19 concerns. I canceled well within their allowed cancelation window for a full refund. I wrote them and they promised a full refund to my bank account. When I followed up weeks later they then refused to refund my money and only offered me credit for their company. I still have the emails where they confirmed a full refund would be posted back to my bank account this was on march 20th. I followed up on april 2nd and they they then said they would no longer refund my money and only give me credit for their company. Now Mind you when I cancelled initially they offered me credit and I refused. They said no problem, a refund would be issued. Then after not hearing anything for almost two weeks I contacted them again and they then refused to refund my money. I would call this theft and fraud. I would be happy is send all emails between us upon request.

Desired Outcome

I just want me money refunded to my bank account. I have also contacted my bank in this matter.
