Our roof had sprung a leak and we were frustrated trying to patch it between rain storms. :-(

We contacted several roofing companies hoping to replace the roof in the middle of a Portland winter. Jose arrived on time, clearly explained his proposal, and we accepted his bid over the other companies. He was very knowledgable and confident in the work done by his crews.

The crew arrived as soon as our Portland weather allowed and worked all day every day to give us a beautiful new roof. If I had a question Armando was quick to give me an answer.

They were recommended by two neighbors and I have already recommended them to friends who are considering a new roof.

From our experience with Giron Roofing -- this is a great company with expertise and integrity! They provided us with a roof replacement experience that was transparent, detailed, and focused on quality craftsmanship. They clearly communicated options, expectations, timeline and progress from the first meeting with Jose throughout each day that the crew was working. There was a clear chain of command from the top of the company down to the great crew who were actually on the roof. They were respectful, focused, disciplined, and worked a long, full day. There were three different individuals checking in during the project to ensure safety and high quality work. On the last day during his inspection the foreman insisted one of the valleys be redone because of the company's high standard of aesthetic. The valley would have functioned fine. We are so pleased with our experience with Giron Roofing. Our roof and the four new skylights look beautiful. This is a great company!

Giron did a great job on our roof replacement, chimney tear down, front porch cover conversion & new gutters. They were timely in project completion, communicative along the whole process and accommodating to our requests. We are very happy with the finished product & will hire them again for future projects.

Giron Roofing was fantastic! Our 1926 house had never had its roof replaced, so the job was a huge one, with difficult access and a steep pitch, as well as two large patios and mature landscaping to protect. Giron Roofing exceeded our expectations.

Let me describe how Giron exceeded our expectations:
1) They started the job precisely when they said they would, showed up every day on time, did a quality job, finished on budget (no change orders, no extras) and completed the project a day early! The job ended up being even more difficult than we thought, with additional layers and excessive heat, so Teo (the owner) called in additional guys to help. At one point, we had a crew of 18 people. It’s a huge asset for Giron to be able to mobilize a large and experienced crew in order to get a job done. They also succeeded in protecting our landscaping/home, and nothing was damaged despite all the debris.
2) The communication and customer service is top notch. From the management (Teo, Jose, Lester, Armando) to the staff in the office (Daisy and Eddie) to the crew leaders (Luis and Enrique), Giron Roofing was always checking up on me and answering any questions. There was always someone on site to answer questions, and if I had to call a manager, someone always got back to me ASAP. Giron wants their customers to be happy and to have a good experience.
3) The crew, led by Luis, was amazing. They were hardworking, polite and respectful. The guys really seemed to care about their work. This shows me that the company takes good care of their workers. My neighbors even commented on how great the crew was.
4) They cleaned up thoroughly every day and made everything perfect on the last day by blowing off the sides of the house, cleaning the gutters, hosing off/cleaning the patios, and removing the porta potty immediately.
5) Their warranty is great. Giron offers the best warranty Malarkey offers because of their installation standards.

Thanks to Giron Roofing for doing such a fabulous job! We are glad we now have a beautiful, new, 50-year roof. If we had to do it all over, we would not hesitate to hire Giron again. This is a great company run by good people.

Given the excellent job Giron did with my roof replacement I hired them to paint the exterior of the house. Again the process was smooth, the price was right and the painting crew did a tremendous job. These guys are professionals so I highly recommend them for any new roof/painting job. Look no further.

The beautiful roof replacement was efficiently done during the hottest day of the year (96 degrees F), which I was wondering when seeing the weather forecast if they might have it rescheduled. Excellent communications was maintained throughout the entire course of business, including scheduling/job confirmation from their main office, on site notification of any structural concern and follow-up call for satisfaction.
Armando, Enrico and all crew members are definitely long experienced and live to their business promise. I could see that they are a professional happy working team. In less than 2 days, my new roof was built with even improvement in the exhaust vents from the bathrooms. They clean up around my house nicely every day. My neighbors are also impressed by their efficiency, quality of work as well as the great look of the Malarkey roofing product made in Oregon for the weather. Giron Construction is a certified Contractor of Malarkey Roofing Products. It is well worth the investment of this home improvement.

A roofing company was canvassing my neighborhood for work.
I received an estimate that seemed to be very high.
I contacted Home Adviser on the Internet and immediately received 3 phone calls and I made appointments to get quoted to replace my cedar shake roof.
The Bids I receiver ranged from high to reasonable so I was able to make my selection of Giron Roofing Inc. The sales rep was able to describe the entire sequence of construction and their Bid reflected the same details.
I had done my research and was looking for three important factors.
Manufactures reputation, quality of materials and Warrantee coverage.
I selected Malarkey Roofing Products, a locale based manufacturer with an amazing reputation.
I was also looking for top quality workmanship of the crew and they, by far exceeded my expectations. And equally important was the timing to complete the work. They finished ahead of their predicated schedule.
From the very beginning Giron Roofing sales rep was very professional, answered all my questions and gave me the confidence his company had the most experienced work crews and they were able to start work within a week.
The work crew was very professional, on time every day and worked long hours. Everyone knew their job and worked well together. They were polite, professional and completed their work ahead of schedule. The cleanup was absolutely amazing and there was no damage to my property.
I could not be more pleased with the entire project and I highly recommend Giron Roofing to anyone and everyone needing roof work. Giron also does Painting, Siding, window replacement and rain gutters. I would not hesitate to have them do any of this type of work for me.

We are completely satisfied with our roofing experience by Giron. This is truly a professional roofing company, from the salesperson to the workers. We were provided with cell phone numbers so we could get assistance any time we needed it. Everyone showed up when promised and the job was completed on time. The supervisor and the business office checked in with us frequently to see if we were happy, and to alert us of needed repairs to our chimney flashing. They even recommended three chimney masons and a gutter company. The crew was pleasant, respectful, and quiet as they worked – no yelling, cursing or loud music. They took breaks like clockwork, which tells me that Giron treats them well. A portable toilet was also placed on our property, further indicating respect for workers and property owners. The crew worked extra long hours when there was rain in the forecast, and always covered the roof with tarps nightly, even when rain wasn’t expected. Additional tarps were used to protect our plants from falling debris. The entire site was cleaned up nightly, and we only ever found two pieces of old roofing materials and one staple left behind! We’ve never had any construction team that cleaned up so well.

The only hassle we had was when the dumpster and portable toilet weren’t removed in the timeframe promised. When I texted the supervisor about it, they were removed the same day – even on a Sunday!

The crew laid a beautiful roof using Malarkey shingles – our preference – and I highly recommend Giron for your next roof!

We had a very good experience with Giron Roofing. Everyone was polite and helpful. They did an excellent job on our roof and gutters.

I have used Giron roofing twice in the past two years, both were very positive experiences from a consumer/customer perspective. We re-roofed out house and garage first, then last week had fascia boards replaces on the front back and side of the house. Their work is excellent and very efficient. Also the pricing is competitive. I was very happy with the level of contact and their ability to schedule work (especially in Portland, which is busy fro contractors). We got a 30 year warranty on our roof and the materials were local. I highly recommend them for roofing work. Very satisfied.

Giron Roofing did a great job ahead of schedule. The Malarkey shingles look good. Roger provided a good estimate and Armando and his crew did everything promised. Lead man Memo workmanship is all that I could ask for. I would contract Giron again.

Giron roofing just finished putting a 40 year roof on my midsized house after 3.5 days of steady work. From the initial contact to the final inspection, I was impressed with their dedication in doing a job of which they could be proud. The day after I first contacted their office, their representative visited our home and provided a much needed education on the contemporary science of roof construction. This paved the way for me and my wife making informed decisions regarding the many options that need to be considered when re-roofing one's house. Giron roofing was one of 4 contractors that gave us bids; we chose them based on their 16 years of experience in the business, excellent reviews, appropriate advice on the costs of different options, the ability to get started within a couple of weeks and lack of pressure to close the deal. Moreover, they have an informative website where one can click on houses that they have re-roofed and learn details of the shingles etc. The workers were respectful of our need to have a a clear route into our garage and avoid damage to our trees and shrubs; unlike some dump trucks, their's had rubber wheels to avoid damage to one's driveway. At the end of the day their clean up left no evidence of the hive of activity that had been present over the preceding few days. The final cost was just under $20,000, with half paid on signing the contract and the rest paid after a satisfactory final inspection.

We recently had a new roof installed on our home. They did a great job explaining the process, timing, materials, costs, etc. The installation team was on time everyday, courteous, professional and did an excellent job. Our job took 3 days and they cleaned up the area every day before they left. We are very pleased with our new roof - it looks great!!!!

The crew was on time and did a good job. I hope that they will continue with their good service.
