I want to start off by saying I was pleased with the service and didn't have a problem with the strong sale tactics trying to be used to get me to lease a car instead of financing the vehicle. I was in the sale business for ten years and five of those years was in sales that involved commission. I even went home and gave it some serious consideration about leasing even though leasing wasn't ideal for my situation. Me and my wife decided to purchase a dodge durango that I like and I was going to go back tomorrow and purchase it since I need the car by the end of the month. Key words (I WAS) but I got an alert 5hrs after leaving [redacted] dodge that stated that [redacted] and [redacted] did a hard inquiry into my credit and my credit drop three points with one of the credit bureaus. I am so mad that after being told to my face and haven't signed any documentation giving permission to run my credit my credit was ran anyway after I even told the salesmen my Fico score. I fill like this dealership is shady and should not be in business if they are going to use people personal information without consistent.

We do not own the Dealership he is referring to.   Bay Ridge Chrysler Jeep went out of

They are clearly playing childish games. The dealership that I filed a complaint about regarding unprofessional and unethical buisness practices is clearly located at [redacted]. Phone: ###-###-####. It says Bay Ridge CJDR (Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram on both the large storefront sign and their website. They might go under Giuffre CJDR for a corporate name, but they are clearly playing games, which is certainly to be expected given my experience with them, as well as other people I spoke to.

Review: My problem is with the service department (not the sales department) of Giuffre Kia Auto-Group in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. The incident began in late October when I received a parking violation in the mail from the NYC Department of Finance stating that I had an outstanding ticket in the amount of $45, and that if I did not pay it by 10/**/14 there would be an additional $10 fee. When I opened this mail the date was already past the due date, so I now owed the city $55. I knew I had no outstanding tickets so I checked the date and location of the incident and realized that my car had been at Giuffre Kia getting serviced when the violation occurred. Giuffre Kia never informed me that they had been issued a ticket, nor did they pay it, and now I was out $55 for a violation I never committed.

I phoned Giuffre Kia repeatedly over the course of the next month. I must have called them 10 to 20 times. I was told to fax them a copy of the ticket, which I did, and when I called back to follow-up they said they never received it. Then I sent them an email with an attached photo of the ticket. I never received a phone call back confirming that they received it. Each time I called, I was given the run-around by [redacted], the woman who answers the phones. She told me the [redacted] was the only one who could handle the situation and she promised me week after week that he would call me back and he never did. She also suggested I call back on certain days when he was supposed to be in the office, but whenever did, he wasn't in. Eventually, on November [redacted], I payed the full amount for the ticket online: $56.37 (there was a $1.37 convenience fee), but I continued to call Giuffre to get reimbursed. At one point [redacted] told me she had informed the Finance Dept for Giuffre Kia of the incident, and that they had issued me a refund and I would receive check in the mail by the end of the week. I never did.

Eventually I began speaking with [redacted], a [redacted] there, instead of [redacted], who gave me the same run-around, promising me he would speak to the [redacted] and who still never called me back. I called again today (December [redacted]) and told [redacted] that if I didn't receive monetary compensation OR a call back from the [redacted] by the end of the day, I would report Giuffre to the Revdex.com. Once I said that, he put me on hold and then told me that the [redacted] had paid the ticket and had sent me an email confirmation. I never received an email confirmation so I told him to send it again. When I opened the email there was an attachment of a scanned copy of a check and an invoice that had been issued on 11/**/2014 to the NYC Department of Finance Parking in the amount of $45 from Giuffre Kia. This was confusing to me for many reasons.

First of all, they didn't pay the full amount of $55. Second, this invoice did not have contain any information about the ticket, so unless they sent it along with the photo I sent them via email or the copy of the ticket I sent them via fax, which they claim they never received, the city would have no way of knowing what violation this money was in reference to. Third, when I went to pay the ticket online on November [redacted], it had not been payed.

The check does not make reference to the ticket number, so I can't verify that it pertains to my ticket, and secondarily, the email did not show me the back side of the check, so I don't know if it was cashed. But regardless, even if Giuffre did pay it, I payed it as well and the money was taken out of my account, and I was never reimbursed for the $56.37.

I would appreciate your attention. Thank You.Desired Settlement: At the very least, I would like to be payed back the $56.37 that Giuffre Kia owes me. I would also like to be compensated somehow for my time and the stress and inconvenience this has caused me.

Review: The salesman at Giuffre Hyundai was not truthful when my husband and I went in to purchase a car. Our intention was to purchase a used car and finance a portion of it because this is what we could afford but instead the financial representative told us that used cars could not be financed. We believed him to the point of purchasing a new car with a very long financing contract. I did return about a week later to complain but I got nowhere with the staff that was there. I continued to make my payments with much difficulty until I learned just yesterday that this auto group was brought up on charges for fraud and false advertising. I would have filed a complaint along with the others if I was aware but I was not. Please be aware that my car was only 23000 and with a seven year contract I would have paid 19000 in interest. They did not advise me that a 23000 car would end up costing me 42000. I find myself in much difficulty now in paying this loan and would like some kind of financial help.Desired Settlement: The desired outcome would be to receive some sort of reimbursement for this loan because in the end it was their fraudulent practices that put me in this position.

Review: My wife and I were there to look at a range rover, we were told we were approved the day we went to look at the vehicle. we agreed we would come back in a few days to pick the vehicle up. we left a $500 deposit in a check form and we specifically said 3 times the check was not to be deposited until we come back to get the truck and every time we were responded yes it wont be deposited. several days go by and no contact from the dealer, and we come to find out the check was cashed 2 days later. when we finally did get the finance manager 2 days later we were told the loan rate was much higher than we thought and cant get our target monthly payment like we agreed. so I emailed [redacted] our sales consultant and advised her to just please return our down payment no response and when we call we cant get a straight answer as to when the deposit will be returned. so the last contact we had was with [redacted] was we told her we knew the deal wasn't going to work for us and that we just want our deposit back. she said she would contact her accounting dept and have them send a check out asap. we had to leave for a week but on our return home there was no check in the mail. when we call the dealership we get "[redacted]" so my wife called up threatening to contact the Revdex.com and someone called a few hours later and said they were mailing a check but that was 3 days ago and they promised we would have it in a day or two at the latest.Desired Settlement: I want my $500 refund over nighted to my house. there is no reason for them to have our money that doesn't belong to them.

Review: I leased a Kia on february **, 2014. I traded in my Honda Accord 2012, for the Kia and was supposed to be done with Honda. Kia was supposed to make the last 3 payments for my Honda lease and instead they only made two, so Honda says that I owe one payment of $259.08, because Kia doesn't want to pay it. The sales person made me sign papers that said they would pay off the rest of my payments, and instead they scammed me and only paid two payments and had me sign on something else. I have been going back and forth with Kia and Honda for the past month, and I need a solution. Kia took almost 3 weeks to send Honda the check and now Kia still has the Honda Accord in their storage place, and they don't want to send it to Honda yet so that I won't be charged any early lease termination fees, but Honda told me that they DON'T charge any early termination fees! So I don't know what to do, I am being scammed by this dealership. I need them to make the third payment and to send the Honda back to the Honda dealership. I did my job and now I am stuck in the middle of these two companies, and I am being scammed. Kia needs to do what is necessary.Desired Settlement: Giuffre Kia needs to make the last payment of $259.08 to Honda, and take me out of this issue because I did my part.

Sincerely,

Review: I took my vehicle in for an oil change numerous times to the same dealership and the price has always been $39.63. Today I took in my vehicle for the same service and I was billed $62.70.I asked if the price had gone up and I was told by the customer service advisor [redacted] "that was always the price". After I showed him a previous statement from a few months before for the same service at $39.63 he stated "that customer service advisor gave you a discount". Nowhere on my invoices does it state I have been receiving any discount or any promotional price for an oil change for the three years I have been taking my vehicle there. I have all my service records on file and was always charged the same price. The customer service advisor was quick to dismiss my claim.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $23.07.
