Give Away Auto Sales Reviews (%countItem)

I need to make the last payment to get my title call me ASAP I'm the guy that purchased the 2008 Chrysler Sebring convertible back in October 2019 I told you I was gonna pay you before thanksgiving.

The reviews are completely accurate! What these people are doing to hardworking individuals in not fair.
I purchased a vehicle from the referenced dealership. The vehicle was inspected by Toyota and deemed unsafe, they advised this vehicle needed to be immediately returned to the dealer who sold it to me. Under Toyota's advise the vehicle was returned to dealership 10/08/2019. At that moment I was advised that I would be refunded the money back to my card. Followed up on 10/09/2019 - no response from the dealer followed up again on 10/11/2019 and received a call from Mike advising that I would need to go by for him to refund me to the card. On 10/16/2019 made it to the dealership to pick up my refund, when he attempted to refund the machine stated that the refund must be either via cash or to another card. I advised I did not have another card and since the funds were immediately withdrawn from the debit card, they should go back on there, refunded via a check, or in cash. He said no that he would not issue the refund in any other form. Then became defensive and asked me and my husband to leave, contact our bank, and dispute the transaction that he had changed his mind and would not be returning me my money. This dealership:
misinformed that the vehicle was sold with a warranty.
did not accurately disclose the mechanical condition of the vehicle. (The vehicle's motor was glued together,)
did not accurately disclose prior history of the vehicle.
sold a defective or poor-quality vehicle.
The reviews are completely accurate, and I wish I would have researched this business before doing any transaction with them. What these people are doing to hardworking individuals in not fair. Now that I did my research, I see the owner has registered multiple businesses which have later been closed or shut down. It looks like they continue to just re-open/re-establish under another name.
They are basically robbing peoples time and money. This is unacceptable and unethical; I have also filed complaints with the agencies below:
Revdex.com
Florida Highway Services and Motor Vehicles Department
Federal Trade Commission Office
I have attached email communication and text messages between the dealership and me. Attached you will also find of the reports on the diagnostics performed by Toyota on this vehicle. The dealership accepted the vehicle back and now refuses to refund me my money.

THEY CURRENTLY OPERATE UNDER ELEGANT AUTO FINANCE LLC. THE OWNER DOES NOT COMPREHEND OR SPEAK PROPER ENGLISH SO HE HAS AN ASSISTANT THE ADVERTISES AND TAKES CARE OF THESE COMPLAINTS. Revdex.com PLEASE HELP US PUT A STOP TO THESE CROOKS! CONSUMERS YOU HAVE RIGHTS! FILE COMPLAINTS AND EXPOSE THE WAY THESE PEOPLE DO BUSINESS! FILE COMPLAINTS WITH THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES ABOVE. SOMEONE WILL HEAR OUR PLEA!

Please note that I will not do the whole back and forth game this company likes play, I will not justify or defend my character as the proof is attached.

Desired Outcome

The dealership has accepted the return of the vehicle. It is in their possession and as such I am requesting a full refund for the down payment drafted from my account on 10/02/2019 in the amount of $1648.00. Being that the dealership was aware of the issues and withheld such information, I believe they should reimburse me for the hundreds of dollars paid to Toyota for the multiple diagnostics ran on the vehicle.

Unfair selling practices and poor vehicle quality.
I financed a vehicle on August 17th, 2018 through Elegant Auto Finance in-house finance. At the time they were doing business as Giveaway Auto Sales. The vehicle, 2010 Blue Mini Cooper S Convertible 2door, was posted on the online website for $7,995.00. According to the contract the vehicle was financed to me at a 28% APR, with value totaling $21, 467.71. The final price was a bit appalling, but I agreed to the contract due to need and very little knowledge of purchasing used vehicles. My payments $295.00, due every other Friday. I started raising some concerns when the payment receipt did not properly reflect payment breakdown. The receipt showed an interest rate higher than the agreed 28%. When complaining about it on numerous occasions, I just kept being told that's the way "the system" applied the payment and to not pay attention to it, to only focus on the balance due.

In addition to the finance practices used by Elegant Auto Finance, the vehicle mechanical condition were poor. I was informed by "Mike," another salesman and technician at the time (now manager) ,the vehicle was in great running conditions and the only issue was with the analog speedometer (located in the center console) as it did not register the speed being driven. However, I was able to use the digital speedometer located on top of the steering wheel. A few weeks after taking the vehicle I started experiencing mechanical performance issues. I took it to Mini of Tampa Bay on Hwy 19 for a checkup where I was informed the vehicle had an oil leak and needed to replace the spark plugs, all four tires (as they were nearing the wiring), and brakes. Over time I completed the needed repairs. I took the vehicle to Mini of Wesley Chapel for a second opinion where I was informed of the same issues including having to repair a rotor and the valve system for the engine oil, a job that would cost $5,500.00. As I made the repairs I kept in touch with Mike, now the manager at Elegant Auto Finance, via text message XXX-XXX-XXXX. I informed Mike of all the repairs taking place and on multiple occasions asked him to please credit the account to set off some of the payments as it would set me back financially to have to be responsible for all repairs and make the payment when its due. Mike informed me they will not credit the repairs in lieu of a payment and we could talk about a credit towards the end of the loan.

Being that this vehicle was my only means of transportation and very little support I continued to try to balance out the repairs and payments required. Please note, all repairs were done on a need basis/emergency basis just to keep the vehicle running properly and deter from any issues while on the road. On May 8th, 2019 I made my last visit to Mini of Wesley Chapel for another oil change. I was informed I was making to many visits for an oil change and discovered the valve system for the engine oil needed to be replaced. A job that would cost $5,500. I did not complete the job and instead decided to shop around for refinance options. I informed Mike on May 14th, 2019, that I was applying for an auto vehicle loan through Tampa Bay Federal, which was looking promising as I was being considered for an Auto Start Program. I also informed Mike that if the loan does not get approved, I would be retuning the vehicle as the repair expenses were getting to be too much and they were not being lenient. Mike started to demand a check for $10,000.00 for the refinance by Friday, May 24th 2019. I informed him I couldn't guarantee payment until the loan was finalized. Mike was demanding the vehicle be returned by the close of business Wednesday, May 22nd or remit payment and if the loan was approved, he would refund the car payment made. I informed Mike the loan was still pending, and I would remit my regular car payment on Friday, May 24th, 2019 when the payments are due. On Wednesday, May 22nd at noon the vehicle was taken, which was not what we had agreed upon.

Desired Outcome

I do not wish to be in business with Elegant Auto Finance. I want the vehicle financed to be reported as a voluntary repossession/surrender and I would like a refund for the repairs made to the vehicle. In addition, I believe Elegant Auto Finance selling practices, finance system, vehicle quality, and it's employees starting with the chain of command should be investigated.

I gave mike my 07 pintiac g5 for a 03 pathfinder as a trade in. Mike said he would fix the transmission issue and when I dropped of car he didnt have mechanic look at it and tried putting me into a car with worse damage. I then asked him if he could just give me my car back and he can keep the money. He yet refused so I asked him, well if you keep my trade in and my money you can have the car as long as it dont go to my credit. I keep askimg for papaerwork sgowing that its not on my credit cause he never told me it was goimg to. I feep this man litwrally robbed in the three weeks I did buisness with him. I have paperwork showing damages exceed the total value of the car. I dont know what to do about this and left with my car tookin from me, my money out my walet and this man doing what he did to me, too others.

Desired Outcome

Correction to a credit report Make sure itz not on my credit since he has both my cars and money.

This is a verbal reply taken by Revdex.com:

The company resolved the issues with me directly.

The business has a 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium Hybrid for sale. The business has car listed for 11,990, but selling for 13,200 on the contract.
Went to the dealership about purchasing the vehicle, when we sat down to do numbers, the vehicle went from 11,990 to 15,000 out of the door. When I asked why, they showed on the contract that the bill of sale was 13,200 instead of the advertised amount of 11,900. After tax and "dealership fees" the final total was 15,000. If the cost of the vehicle is going to be 13,200 then it needs to be listed as 13,200.

Desired Outcome

The price needs to be modified on all social media platforms as well as the website. To me it is a classic case of bait & switch.

Give Away Auto Sales Response • Sep 22, 2018

to whom it may concern,

The customer came with a fake draft, when we found that out, we just told him we are not selling the car,Obviously he got upset.

Best experience with a car dealership I've ever had!

I had a terrific experience with this dealership. The salesman answered questions even before I asked them. Very professional. The financing was quick and painless and I got a great car! I will be back and can recommend this dealership highly!

Refusal of refund, non compliant with negotiated pay date and non compliant with contract
My fiance *** and I ,*** started to finance a vehicle from "Give Away Auto" Both my fiance and I looked at a 2011 Dodge Nitro. It was on Saturday June 16 2018. We met with Kevin, the salesman, and we had agreed on a $1500 down payment and around $251 bi-Weekly. This agreement was made on June 18 2018. I gave Kevin 2 of my pay stubs and we were told that we would be furnished with a "Car Fax" report. We did not receive the car fax and I did not receive my 2 pay stubs back. Both of these were later noticed by myself and my fiance. We paid $1500 in cash for a down payment. We did receive a receipt. The contract was not signed completely by the seller "Give Away Auto". The contract was rushed through by the seller. Upon leaving we noticed that the engine light and "ABS" light was on also the change oil indicator came on. We were told by the dealers mechanic that the oil indicator is normal to come on. The Air conditioner had to be fixed twice by the same mechanic which was not corrected the first time. Every time we called or messaged the compete were told that the Mgr. was in a mtg. and that he would call us back. That never happened. Facebook messenger was basically our only means of communication. They said that we had a payment due a week prior to July 2 2018. I don't know who I spoke with but he had broken english, hard to understand. We agreed a payment to be made on July 2 2018. We had an automatic withdrawal set up with "Give Away Auto" but the payment slip/paper was never signed or finished by the salesman. Our vehicle was picked up by a towing company yesterday July 2 2018. The day the dealership was supposed to have the automatic withdrawal. That never *** We were told by the tow truck driver that the reason for the pick up of our vehicle was because the dealership wanted it back. They left us stranded. Not a care in the world. We borrowed my fiances Uncles truck to drive over to the dealership to talk to the Mhr. Upon arrival a man was inside and did not disclose who he was. He,the Man in the Office at the dealership, told us the reason why they took the car is because we were going to report them to the Revdex.com. No reason other than that. They now as of today,July 3 2018,have our 2011 Dodge Nitro listed for sale on their website .Our first payment was not due until July 18 2018 and every 2 weeks there on out until paid off. Again, the contract was NOT fully completed by the company "Give Away Auto". The Co applicant information was also altered by "Give Away Auto " as to get financing. The salesman altered employment information and put down that we pay $375/mo. For rent were we live. That is not what we pay per month. We did not fail to make a payment "Give Away Auto " took our car on the basis of we were going to contact the "Revdex.com".

Desired Outcome

Our resolution is to receive our down payment back.

Give Away Auto Sales Response • Jul 18, 2018

The customer field to make his pickup payment, there is a signed contract between Give AWAY and the customer, he called several time and start complaining about not having the pickup payment on time and asked if we can change the due date,
Phone calls are recorded as well.

Thanks

Customer Response • Jul 20, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We have not failed to have our,as you state, our "pick up payment" paid. If the phone calls are recorded then the one I had was with a man and we had agreed on the $500 payment to be moved a week out from the contract date for the payment. Also, the " regular payment " was not due at that time according to the contract. Again,We were told at your office, that the reason why our vehicle was picked up was because we had advised you, prior to pick up,that we were contacting the "Revdex.com". This was verbally told to us by one of the businesses employees shortly after our vehicle was picked up. We do have forms that have not been signed by "Give Away Auto" . The contract has not been completely by such said Company.

Give Away Auto Sales Response • Jul 20, 2018

Customers can say whatever they want, we go by contracts, You agreed and sign on the payment day, no one run business by verbal agreements.

Thanks for stopping by,We in Give Away Auto Sale wish you all the best finding your dream car.

Thanks

they advertise their cars at a lower than they are willing to sell.
they will run credit multiple times without your consent.
I went to their location to purchase a car at the advertised price. I had call them to see if the car was available they assured me it was so I drove an hour from where I live.
They post their prices on their website and craigslist.
When I was there I told them I told them that I was not interested in financing, they started doing the paper work run my credit 6 times, and gave me a different price when I clearly stated I wasn't looking for financing. I understand dealer fees but when I asked them to break down the price the sticker price was 2-3k higher than what they advertised plus all fees.

they then said the price is probably wrong because it was too low, but all their cars are advertised like that when I asked why they said it was probably a mistake, which I don't believe because all their prices are like that for all their vehicles and they continue advertising their cars at really low prices just to have people go there.

Desired Outcome

I need my credit to be corrected, they kept running my credit just to find the best rate disregarding my consent. I want those hard inquiries to be removed from my credit report.

Give Away Auto Sales Response • Jul 06, 2018

To whom it may concern ,

before Mr. *** come to the dealership he called in and asked about the car he is interested in and told us that he have 4k down payment and he have 700 fico score, when he actually came in he said that he wasn't able to get any money and his credit was 450 with 2 repossession and bankruptcy on his credit report.
Of course with this type of bad credit the finance charge and the car price will vary, he is a high risk customer and no bank wanted to finance him, So he kinda of got mad and start talking left and right.
we did apologies for his 20 min drive (its not 1 hour).
if he explain his situation better we wouldn't let him drive.

Thank you

Customer Response • Jul 07, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
First of all that is a very pitiful and unprofessional attempt to deny their wrong doings. such blatant lies and unethical business practices are unacceptable.
Attached is a letter I received from United Auto credit.
It shows their business name GIVE AWAY AUTO SALE LLC.

It shows my address which is around 1 hour away from their location.
it shows my credit score which was 760.

No repossessions bankruptcies only too many inquiries which were created by them

Customer Response • Jul 10, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
First they lied about my credit being 400, lied about my location, lied about bankruptcies and repossessions.
I wouldn't expect them to remember me as it was months ago and I didn't make a big deal of it at the time, no reason to fabricate a story.

I didn't even know my credit had been pulled several times until I started receiving the letters.
attached is a screen shot of 5 credit pulls from equifax that day, there is additional pulls from transunion that I can provide if requested.
as you can see the pulls were a desperate attempt to sell me a car when I wanted to pay cash.
they also made up the 4000 dollars down payment and me not having enough to buy it, the car I was looking to buy was 11k and I wanted to pay cash but they refused to sell it with the excuse that it was a mistake. (like all their advertised cars)
Blaming my credit is ridiculous, as you can see in the attached document my credit was 760 when they pulled my credit, my credit is currently above 740. why keep making things up when I'm providing evidence?

the reason why I wanted to pay cash is because I was in the process of buying property and wanted my credit to be the best it could be. I'm not upset because of the banks hitting me with "high rates" or "being denied" I'm upset because I said I didn't want financing, they expected to bamboozle me with their "low monthly payments" pitch.

my credit is not ruined and I don't need to buy a car as I already purchased one. I just dislike the idea of a business engaging in unethical practices with no regards for the customers as long as they make a sell. they also miss-advertise their prices to reel people in, they have several negative reviews for similar issues.

their responses and the stories they are fabricating despite the evidence i'm providing reflect how they conduct their business.

I need them to retract those pulls, they are not currently affecting me but it was against my consent and I don't want them to affect me in the future.

Give Away Auto Sales Response • Jul 10, 2018

We are not allowed to do hard hit on any customer credit, He have to many credit hits because he's been denied several time, United auto credit approved every one regardless of their credit.
we not understanding customers why the gets really upset when the bank hit them with high rate, Maybe you need to work on your credit.
Good luck, we are here in Give away auto wish you the best finding your dream car.

Excellent service! The staff was very attentive and understanding of my budgeting and personal needs. Thank you for helping me find my dream car!

Pleasure to do business with you.please come again

went to give away auto sales for the advertise 10990 and because I have bad credit I was charged a bank fee called the bank told them what happened they couldn't fund the deal anyway
so 4 days later had to return the vehicle . 3 weeks later I'm still fighting to get my 3000 down payment back . I work for a dealership and if a deal cant be funded by the bank then the down payment must be returned to the customer . I had to refund a customer 5500$ and that happened with in 48 hours . That's the proper and legal way of conducting business. Have called everyday or every other day since 6/18 to get my down payment of 3000 back. Every time I call I get passed around someone will call you back or I'm working on in , the owner isn't here
The people that work there use fake names ! I also have evidence of all the phone calls of me calling and politely asking for my money back. There were no services rendered . I returned the vehicle . The miles were off the the vehicle as well when I told the salesman he reply its no big deal . These people who have the business lie cheat and steal and don't care . The mental stress that this has put on me and my family is horrendous. I meet my end of the deal however the bank couldn't approve me so I retuned the car as I should didn't make the dealer come get it I dropped it off clean and with the back turn signal replaced . also read horrible reviews of the GiveAway auto sales after the fact , quite frankly don't know how there still in business . If someone else has had problems with Giveaway Auto sales let the community know just how bad they are . All I want is my 3000$ deposit back and I'm very happy to move on with life . Crazy thing is I feel that they really enjoy hurting people and giving them grief stress and anxiety. That's just not right its morally wrong and are not good business matters . They need to be shutdown for job already happened before and yet opened another business'! Please help me thanks and God Bless.

Desired Outcome

Refund All I'M asking for is my 3000$ deposit back that is all Next week will be a month the car was returned 4 days after getting it . the bank didn't fund the deal in fact they canceled it due to business practices .The customer cant be charged a bank fee that is something the dealer must absorb and making the sales price higher to cover that fee isn't right either . Please help me and return my 3000$. Thanks for hearing my story anyone else out there you have a voice don't let this happen to you.

To whom to may concern,

The customer signed a contract and the bank apporved him, He talked to the bank and asked if he can unwind the deal after driving the car for almost 8 days !!
Attached the bank approval and the contract,

Thanks

Customer Response • Jul 06, 2018

The car was taken on June 14th and reply in brought back on June 18th that's 4 days. in addition because the car was brought back in the bank declined to do the deal by law the dealer has to return my down payment. there's no cashable contract know where on the contract is it says he that I have to pay a restocking fee or anything like. this is not how car dealership supposed to do money I work for rapital car dealership and all the time deals fall apart you just return the money and that's it. You don't just keep someone's money. so this has been resolved my $3, 000 needs to come back to me or I will hire attorney and I will get more money awarded to me by going to court. I have sent over all the documents showing that there was four different prices for the vehicle you can see where the miscommunication and or bad business was being shown. these people have not returned my calls and they're not doing anything to make the matter right at all.

Great place. Hassle-free! I felt absolutely no pressure to make a purchase. I got really great rates on my monthly payments. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Best experience I have ever had with a car dealership!

I am still awaiting my refund on the 2007 lexus es350 of 1000 dollars
I am still awaiting my refund on the 2007 Red Lexus es350 of $1000 dollars, it seems they are dragging their feet and giving me excuses!

I put a deposit on a vehicle that was not on the lot when I arrived to see, they asked for a deposit/down payment after I was approved for a loan thru Honor Bank! After 3 days I finally was able to see the vehicle and knew it was not for me, they say pictures say a thousand words, well sometimes pictures need to say 2 thousand words.

It has been 2 weeks since I have asked for refund and they say the old "THE CHECKS IN THE MAIL" answer.

I live 15 minutes from the lot, why does it take 2 weeks to get a refund when it took 2 seconds to collect my money?

I will be waiting for there response, maybe it will take 2 weeks for that lol

Desired Outcome

total refund NOW!!!!

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I got my refund, they had no idea what was coming if I did not get it! If BB could not help me, I was going to contact local TV channels and put a news camera in their faces! If that did not work , Morgan & Morgan lawyers were next.

you can now close this case! Thank you for the prompt response!!!

Changed the Sales price without telling me
Never submitted my insurance contract
refused to give copies of the loan contract
odometer reading wrong
Initially the car was ok, noticed before my son left that there was shaking, so Mike/MJ wrote out a "we owe" and the deal was to get it fixed the following day. Mike/MJ was very adamant about taking my cash for the insurance and that they were handling it and processing it, refused to give my son a copy of everything he signed, did not report the accurate odometer reading.....The next day my son was advised by Mike/MJ to bring the car to the mechanic which when I was on the way the car completely seized up and cause my son and he lost control on the interstate and was taken off the road. The car was then towed to a tow yard. That's when the headache started. Mike/MJ began to show their true colors and hang up on my son and myself almost every phone call. Noticed that the sticker price which was $8,990 well on the bill of sale was then $14,999. My son was told his interest rate was going to be between 4-8% was really 28%. He did put down a $3800 deposit. THEN when my son filed the insurance claim for the accident he was told he was not covered because the dealership MIKE/MJ didn't process his insurance until 10 minutes after his accident, because we had called them and asked them "NOW WHAT". They continued to hang up on us every phone call when we were trying to figure out how this was going to get handled. We then obtained an attorney, which now they will not give him any straight answers either, except for lies stating that the insurance is covering it when it really isn't. ALL LIES from this dealership.

Desired Outcome

Deposit COMPLETELY refunded and the deal to be taken back and my son walk away with no damage to his credit

Give Away Auto Sales Response • Jun 09, 2018

To whom it may concern,

The customer doesn't have any credit at all, Te cash price is 8990 and the financing price is different, it depends on the customer credit score, there is no way in the world you can this type of score interest rate 4-8%, he was on Buy Here Pay Here type a deal and all this deals have fixed interest rate 28%, You might get lower depends on the car age, in his case 28% was the rate, the cash price is totally different from the finance price and it states all over the website and we explains that to him very well.
We promised him to fix the shaking in the car and we scheduled him to go to the mechanic shop the very next day, it was raining crazy that day and the guy was doing 85 miles per/hour on the highway(That's his statement) and he lost control of car, Ye we towed the car and send it to the body shop to fix it,
as far as the insurance its the customer responsibility to have full coverage on the car with us being the lien holder but he said the insurance is really expensive and that he can afford it, we got him better rate but he said he is gonna ask him mom about it, By the way, his mom wast with him at all, he was with his friends, and Just so you know, he field to make his pickup payment and that make him defaulting the contract and gave me the right (By law) to repo the car.
I have all the paper work signed by the customer. I do my business by the book.
The case here that customer change his mind the very next day about the purchase and he wanted the car back, But I'm sorry we are not Walmart, you cant just come buy a USED car and return it the very next day

Thanks

Customer Response • Jun 11, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
None of the above is true AT ALL!!!!! My son (I was sitting right next to him as well as driving behind him) NEVER said he was going 85 and he wasn't as I was driving about 55 omg behind him DUE TO THE RAIN CONDITION!!! And since when do you jack up the sales price due to credit???? There is so much more but that's good, cause our attorney is already taking care of it... oh and by the way, you mean the monies my son came to pay you that you REFUSED??? You mean that money? Ohhhh and as far as insurance, you took his CASH and told him NOT to worry THAT YOU were taking care of the insurance.... your establishment is a joke and I hope karma comes back on you cause it's obvious we are not the only ones to contact the Revdex.com!!! See you in court (or just settle if your smart)

Give Away Auto Sales Response • Jun 13, 2018

Well,

First of all, we are not allowed to discuss anything with you because you are not on the contract, Your son already breach he contract by not making the payment, he was 2 days behind his payment and he came to make the payment because you lawyer asked him to.

The insurance paid from the business credit card because your son didn't have the money that day to make the payment for insurance.

Please let you attorney contact the company attorney.

They took advantage of me being in a hurry and added almost $5,000 to the final asking price.
On 05/23/2018 I, ***, went to Give Away Auto Sale, LLC in Pinellas Park, FL to purchase a 2011 BMW M5 sedan. While there I found a different vehicle I liked, advertised at $13,450. I had to drive over 100 miles one way to do this deal. I test drove the SUV, and liked the it. So we went inside to finalize the paperwork.
My children were in school at the time back at home. I was in an incredible hurry to get back in time to pick them up, then get to work on it. The salesman, who said his name was MJ, took the liberty to jack the price up to $19,047.50. He also told me that Gap Insurance was a requirement in Florida. He added $400 for that. While drawing up the paperwork, my fiancé, *** asked the final sales price of the vehicle several times. MJ told him at the end it was $14,546.50. We were under the impression that was the price after taxes, dealer fees. We already had a tag for the vehicle. When my Fiancé stepped outside to add the vehicle to our insurance policy, MJ rushed the signing process. Which I thought was out of kindness to me for being in such a hurry. Turns out it was to hide the fact he jacked up the price to $19,047.50. I have pictures of the advertised vehicle listing. The VIN number is clear in this advert as well.

Desired Outcome

I want my $5,000 deposit returned, to take the vehicle back (after refund conformation), and the contract torn up. OR, I want to original advertized price to be in the contract. Not the LIE.

sales man signed papers without my consent and lied about the overall price of the car.
I went to this business looking for a specific car. I called three times to verify the car I wanted was still on the lot. I live about 2 hours from their business. I got there and they said the car was sold the night before. I was furious and so we looked at others cars. The sales man Dean helped me pick out a new car. My boyfriend and I co-signed on the car because of the price it was for, almost 10k which is what is was listed for. We put down a $3000 down payment to start the financial process. We sat in a separate room being entertained by Maher the other salesman while dean sat in the next room signing paper work electronically without my consent or my boyfriends consent. I signed a few pages which he mislead us into thinking it was the price we talked about and that the payments would be $300 like we all discussed and agreed to. He comes back and says everything is set and that my payments are in the price range I wanted. He never disclosed the full amount nor the monthly payments before we left. I thought it was what we agreed on and I trusted them. I come home and come to realize the overal price went from 10k to 26k. And the payments jumped from $300 to $346. After I found out I asked to return the car because I couldn't afford that. He immediately said no that I had to keep it. After persisting he said he'll take it back and by that point I had only had the car for about three days. I also paid to get the car tinted which was $300 and I told dean if I could get reimbursed for that and he said no because he had to pay to get it removed because nobody likes tint. I made the two hour trip and before I went, Dean told me he'd give me a full refund. I arrive there and the owner was very disrespectful. He was trying to keep my quiet and kept telling me to hush because he didn't want his other potential customers to overhear and leave. After getting there he tells me he will only refund $2500 because he has to keep $500 for the miles I put on the car. I asked him how he got that number and he refused to give me an explanation. I wanted to know what numbers he multipled or added to come to $500 and he gave me no answer.

Desired Outcome

I want the rest of my money back. ill be more than happy to pay the miles I used but it must be reasonable. I spoke to several salesman and they all said 15 cents a Mile is what they usually charge for a car after they return it. $500 was ridiculously high for only three days. Plus I already lost $300 from the tint job. That's an $800 loss for a car I only drove for three days.

Give Away Auto Sales Response • Jun 15, 2018

To whom it may concern,

The customer drove the car for more than 7 days, She signed a contract and bill of sale and the finance manager went through the numbers before she signed that night.
The nature of the business doesn't allow us to give the customer time to think about the car while he is driving it, However we made an exception for her and we refund the money and kept what we think its fair for using the car for over a week.
Please note that the customer signed a paper stating that if the customer change his mind he will automatically forfeit their first payment/deposit

Thank you

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have the text messages to show when I texted the salesman that I was returning the car so it had only been 4 days not over 7 days like the owner claims. I have the paperwork and everything dated. The fair amount would be for you to keep the money for the miles I ACTUALLY drove. I only drove 114 miles. And when I dropped the car off it had a full tank of gas. When I went to that "business" I was inquiring about a car that was no more than $10k because I knew my budget. There is no way I would've left there if I knew the ending total would be $26k+ . There was no clarity to me, I was very mislead. Being a first time buyer I trusted these people and look where that got me. If I don't get my refund that's okay because I didn't expect it from the owner. But thought I'd help other people avoid this horrible place called a business.

I live far away and made a deal over the phone that included a 1,000 deposit. When I went to complete deal they completely changed price, terms.
Called several times regarding a 2007 Mercedes so that was advertised on several sites for $6,450. Worked out a deal to pay a total of half down and do buy here pay here for the remaining balance. Buy here pay here terms were monthly payments of around $280 a month including interest for approximately a year and it would be paid off. Made a trip down to complete deal and all was a go until I drove the car and the engine light came on. I was told no lights were on. I had them plug in the code finder and it shot up 18 codes found. He looked one up and said it was a $250 part and that all the other 17 codes were linked to this one code. I told him to fix Itami she I returned I wanted to see no codes as I was promised. When I returned to complete the deal for the repaired car I asked if he had fixed it and he told me yes. I asked for the keys and sure enough the engine light was still on. In addition there were big scratches on the drivers side and the front grill was cracked. He then told me the car was priced wrong and the original deal and terms would not be honored and that there was also a $999 dealer fee that needed to be added. I told them that was not acceptable so Dean the finance manager gets on the computer and says he found a bank to loan me the money for the car at $280 a month with $4,500 down. When I looked at the bank contract the terms were for 72 months financing $12,990 in addition to my $4,500 down. So the $6,450 advertised car was now going to cost me $17,490. I told Dean that a legal contract had already been made on the car with the original deal because there had been an offer of $6,450 for the car, I accepted the terms given to me to buy the car and put consideration in the amount of $1,000 down and he was legally bound to honor it. He then said he would gladly refund the $1,000 and made a copy of my debit card and I left. That was two weeks ago and nothing has been refunded. I have text him several times and no response. I sit on hold when I call, he refuses my calls. I feel like there has been ample time to make good on his promise of a refund. He got permission from the owner to do this refund also but as soon as I left its all ignored. I lost 2 days of work and made two very expensive 4 hour trips to be scammed.

Desired Outcome

I want my $1,000 back. Should also be reimbursed for gas and work too because after reading reviews this is an ongoing scam at this place.

I canceled a warranty within the allotted time for a full refund and they will not return my calls/emails and I have not received the refund.
I bought a 2012 Mini Cooper on 1/10/18, VIN # WMWSU3C59CTXXXXXX from Give Away Auto Sales. I was told, and have a CONTRACT that states, that I could cancel the warranty purchased with the car withing 60 days for a full refund. On 3/5/18 I contacted GWC Warranty to cancel (3/11/18 would have been 60 days) and was told by Danielle A., Claims Payment Specialist Level 11, that Give Away Auto Sales had already voided my warranty and that I would need to refer back to them for the refund. I emailed Dean at Giveaway and let him know this information. He did not respond to my e-mail, so I called him on 3/8/18 and he stated that he was "looking into it." When I didn't hear from him, I followed up with another e-mail; he again did not reply. I called Dean again on 3/13/18 and he stated that it was not voided by the dealership and he would send me a copy of the paperwork to show that. He did not. On 3/15/18 I e-mailed GWC again and was told by Samantha C., Business Processing Specialist, Level 1, again that the warranty had been voided by the dealership. I sent Dean a copy of this (I also copied him on the previous e-mails with GWC.) Still no response from Give Away. I spoke one more time with Dean who said that the ladies I had spoken to at GWC were "stupid" and they only made $7/hr, and he was working with his representative to get it resolved. He stated that there were two warranties written for my car and that they had indeed voided one, but not the other. Since that conversation, I have e-mailed Dean two more times and left NUMEROUS voicemails/messages for Dean, a guy named MJ, and the head of Give Away, Mike. My latest message was left with a receptionist yesterday, 5/10/18, and I still have received no word from Give Away. The warranty amount that they owe me is $890.

Desired Outcome

I would like a check for $890 mailed to me immediately.

To whom it may concern,

The customer came in with draft from the bank, The price was listed online is the cash price, everything is explained on the website as far as the difference between the cash prices and the bank drafts.
On the website as well, there is a disclaimer stating that we are not responsible for the prices that 3 part advertising company set on their website, and that we have the right to change the prices anytime.

Thanks

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The price was negotiated at the dealership with the finance manager, including the down payment amount and I was provided a purchase order to take to my bank for financing. I did all this, however excluded the service contract I did not want to purchase. Because of this, the finance manager wanted more down because he was losing a "kick-back", and I argued that the car price was the car price regardless of whether I purchased a service contract. Then when I came back with the additional $400 down, he wanted yet ANOTHER $300 (total 700 above what was negotiated the day before), all because his personal commission was impacted. Shady business, dont buy here.

Give Away Auto Sales Response • Jun 01, 2018

This response was taken verbally by Revdex.com

The consumer did not pay an additional $700.00, they are currently waiting for a refund from the finance company for them dropping the extended warranty. That refund would be from the finicase company not our business.

Customer Response • Jun 03, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
There was no 700 refund as there was no purchase. The financing obtained excluded the proposed optional service warranty and because of this the dealership wanted an additional $700 added to car price (after already agreeing on a price and down payment)because the finance manager was losing his "kickback" on the service warranty (which is OPTIONAL, NOT MANDATORY for a sale). He said without the service warranty the deal wouldn't work to which I argued the vehicle price is the vehicle price regardless of whether ir not he gets his commission for an optional service warranty. The car price is static not dynamic because the finance manager needs a bigger check that week. Very unethical practices and HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAINST DOING BUSINESS HERE.

I put $2000 down and they lied about the condition of the car. . I brought the car back and did not want it and they only gave me $1800 back.
March 11th,2018 I went to Give Away Auto Sales and I found a car I liked. I left in the vehicle after obtaining insurance and putting $2000 down and they said for me to come back and sign the papers the next day. I left and when I got on the interstate the vehicle shook very very bad. Very dangerous driving like that. And the service light came on. And also the air conditioning was not working at all. So I had the mechanic at my job see what was wrong. He fixed the problem and on March 13,2018 I went back with my boyfriend and daughter so they could resolve the issue like they agreed to over the phone and they said they would give me a warranty and make it right. I get there and the man gave me one option. He said they will put factory rims and tires on the car because the shaking. I said no I got this car because I liked the rims and tires. They could not come to an agreement with me. Extremely rude. They told me when I got there that I would have to buy a warranty if I wanted one. When someone had already offered me one from there over the phone. Then made it seem like I am a liar. Then I agreed to the rims and tires that had less value. I said I would come this weekend. And we started going over the price of everything. Originally they told me the car is $9,450 then at their office they told me the car is $13,700. I asked if the price jumped because dealer fees and he said, "yup" I then said I could not get the vehicle and I would bring it back when I have off work this weekend. He said , "your not gonna buy me vehicle but u think im gonna let u drive it?" I said sir I am 2 hours from home its late and very cold outside I have my two yr old daughter with me. He just shrugged his shoulders. I asked for my down payment back and he only gave me $1800 instead of my $2000 . Said because the miles? They never gave me a recepit for my $2000 to begin with. So I had no way of proving this. They are a scam. I fixed the air and everything for these people. I had to take a taxi home and had to pay $70.00 just to get back..

Desired Outcome

I want my $200.00 back that they took from me. When they tried selling me a crap car. Lied about the price and the condition of the vehicle.

Give Away Auto Sales Response • Apr 07, 2018

To whom it may concern,

The customer came in on a Sunday when all of our bank is closed. She had a previous paid auto credit so we collected her down payment and did what is common in our business called spotting her on Monday.
She got the proper insurance as the dealer listed as lien holder and was suppose to come in Monday night to sign, She called in Monday saying she couldn't come in as promised and would be in later in the week.
She came in a couple of days latter went over her approval she said that she could not afford the payment, We called the bank and got her lower payment and she still refused, When we told her I need the car back she said she would take the car back home and bringing it back on the weekend, We explained to her that we cant, we kept 200$ from here 2000$ deposit because she drove the car for days and put a miles on it.

Thanks
