We strongly encourage balanced reviews from users, and specifically ask users to leave both a pro and a con, because we believe there are always positives to every workplace, and opportunities for all companies to improve. In fact, the average rating for companies across Glassdoor is 3.2 (out of 5), and the 70% of users say they are "OK" or "Satisfied" with their job and company. As people share their workplace experiences, there may be cases where reviews offer details of workplace misconduct, personal experiences that are negative and/or personal opinions about a member's experiences working at an employer. These reviews are people's own opinions and not those of Glassdoor.
We do allow comments about individuals who represent the public face of the company if they have great influence over the broad work environment (CEO, C-Suite, President, Owner, etc.) and the comments are related to their behavior in the work environment. We believe this information is generally representative of the company and informative to job seekers.
However, we offer all employers the ability, for free, to respond to reviews on Glassdoor. All and employer needs to do is to sign-up for a free employer account.
We highly encourage Sanair Technologies Laboratories , and any employer encountering a similar situation, to leave an Employer Response. We believe a thoughtful, professional response can not only balance a negative review, but showcase the employer's true 'employer brand' to those reading the review. When the employer responds, the response is shows to all others reading the review. And, we know from research that users read between 4-7 reviews before forming an impression of a company. We also know that they value an employer response.
We trust our members are savvy enough to read reviews and draw their own conclusions by evaluating both the employee review and the employer response to the review. We strive to have the most helpful and balanced site for job seekers. We believe in minimal censorship and allowing a robust conversation within our community. While we may disagree personally with the tone a member (or employer) might use, we believe in their right to voice their opinion about their work experience.

Based on the statement listed on Glassdoor the statement is classified as "per se" defamation. Typically, the following may constitutes defamation per se:
Attacks on a person's professional character that is not a public figure and allegations that the person has committed a crime of moral turpitude
The statement that the President broke the law is defaming in this case and needs to be removed. There is no evidence to any laws broken and the President is not a public figure.
We will be sending a cease and desist order shortly.

That being said, when it comes to whether or not the substance of the Reviews on Glassdoor are true or false, it is often impossible for us to make that determination. Glassdoor's general position is that a review is valid from the standpoint that it is one person's personal experience of their job and company.
Given the nature of social media sites like Glassdoor, if you feel that your company is not accurately portrayed, a best practice is to engage in the conversation, not try to censure, inhibit, or enflame it. The more genuine voices and opinions actively involved, the more influential the information can be.
