Gleam and Glow Skincare Reviews (%countItem)

I signed up for a free trial, which cost me $300 in the end. It took me time and effort to cancel a substantial I never knew I signed up for.

On Nov 19 I received I ordered a trial of skin cream and eye cream for $10.90. Didn't receive until beginning of Dec. Dec 7 I was charged $109.79 and $99.79 for the same product that I didn't order. I didn't even have a chance to try the products. I called customer service and explained that I didn't want it and they said I could cancel anymore shipments but could not return. However I have tried XXXXXXXXXX*skin cream and XXXXXXXXXX*pureskin and the product is ***. If they had given me a chance to try the sample I certainly would not have ordered more. I want my money back. When I ordered the trial there was absolutely nothing about a monthly subscription.

Desired Outcome

Called customer service they said no returns or refunds

Hi ***,When you order on our website you must agree to the terms and conditions which state that after 14 days + 3 days of shipping you will be charged for the Gleam and Glow if you do not call to cancel and return the product.Your trial started when you ordered the products on (11/18/2018) which you paid shipping and handling fees of $5.94 and $4.95. Your trial ended on 12/05/2018, in which we didn't receive any call from you thus, your account has been kept active. You called us on (12/06/2018) to cancel your account and we were able to cancel it. Today (04/19/2019 we have issued a refund of $209.58 back to your account. Please allow 5-10 business days depending on your bank's processing time for the credit to reflect back to your account.Rest assured, the account is cancelled and you won't receive any further charges. If you have further questions or concerns, please feel free to call us at X-XXX-XXX-XXXX. Thank you

on Jan 23, my father completed an *** questionnaire that promised a sample of skin care for free for the completion of the survey. we received the sample and only had to pay the shipping charge of 4.95, 5.94 with tax. on feb 6, he had charges on his credit card bill of $99.79 and $109.79 from *** and *** respectively. the account is under my dad's name, *** and email address ***@hotmail.com. On feb 11 I called gleam and glow customer support and was hung up on when asking about the charges. on feb 12, I called numerous times again and was informed that there was an 18day trial period in which I had to contact them on my satisfaction with their product. and if I didn't call or cancel the subscription I would be charged for the product.they said it was stated in their terms and conditons. I then asked for a link to their terms and conditions be sent to me stating this fact, as I was promised a sample not a trial, and didnt see information about the 18 day trial. when asked for the terms and conditions I was hung up on. I called again and cancelled the account/subscription. my cancellation number is XXXXXX

Desired Outcome

I wish to have the 99.79 and 109.79 charges returned to my account

I also fell for this while I was online I came across an ad saying that if I fill out a survey I could win a gift card for ***. After doing the survey I was told that I "won" this free sample of face cream and that all I needed to do was pay the shipping cost. I then I putted my *** number to cover shipping. No where did I see the membership terms or was told about the trial period timeline. I received the product (which by the way is very poor quality) and 7 days later noticed that I was charged 109.00 and 99.00 for it. When I called company the customer service rep was unhelpful and very *** and I was told that I could not get a refund. ***.

Dear Revdex.com,
I got a mail from ***@***.com on Jan 12th stating I have been selected to participate in a monthly $50 *** promotion survey. At the end of the survey I was requested to redeem a reward of which the Gleam and Glow sample was an option. The price of the products was advertised as free (as the usual price of 139.95 was struck out), however I was required to pay for shipping which was 4.95 for the Gleam and Glow Anti-Aging moisturizer creame and 5.94 for the Gleam and Glow Advanced Eye treatment of which I provided my credit card information.
Today, I saw two debits of 109.9 and 79.99 on my credit cards for same samples that were shipped to me some time ago. I called my credit card company to lodge a complaint that I didn't authorize the payment and was advised to reach out to the company on XXX-XXXXXXX which I did.
The agents and supervisors vehemently refused a full refund. I was told I signed terms and conditions of which I didn't. I was told the best they could offer was refund a 50% of which I refused. I requested for a return label to ship back the samples as I have the free samples in its original unopened state, but they wouldn't hear any of that. They insisted that I loose all or accept the 50% offer like they were doing me a favour.
I have screen shots of the transactions and the adverts and I didn't see no FINE PRINTS. I. I didn't sign up for any trial. I only did the survey because it was from *** of which I was a member, I never envisaged to be *** under this fake advertisement of being rewarded with free samples of product for taking a survey. ***.***
I have requested a full refund, but they refused,so I decided to bring this to your attention. If you require evidences as regards my screen shots while filling the survey and claiming the rewards, I will gladly provide.
Thank you for your assistance.

Desired Outcome

i want a full refunds of the amount charged on my credit d for 109.9 and 79.99CAD ***. From the companies representative demeanor over the phone, it shows they know their advert was misleading to a lot. ***. customer concern is none of their priority as their priority is to generate funds at the detriment of unsuspecting consumers.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)Hello Revdex.com,I wholeheartedly accept the refunds to my account. However, I do not agree with their explanation. I never ordered anything on their website.I would like to reiterate that I received a thank you mail to participate in an *** customer satisfaction survey to win a reward of $50 and one of the rewards available was the gleam and glow cream. The cost usually was 139.99 but that day it was $0. I did not agree to no terms and condition on the page and was only asked to pay for shipping which I authorized on my card. However, several days later I was charged on my credit card a combined fee of $200 for the samples sent to me.I really want to thank Revdex.com for taking this up and for the successful resolution. Unsuspecting consumers must be protected from deceptive adverts and businesses as this ***Thank you for protecting the consumers interest.

I was Offered a promotion after doing a survey for this companies product and it said I would pay shipping & Handling fee ONLY. I was very very careful to check that there was nothing in any of the information provided that said I had to cancel within a certain period of time or that there was an ongoing commitment. I was charged on my credit card for the full price of the product. When I called to request a refund I was told all they could do was cancel the ongoing commitment. I sent an email and provided all the documentation that I had that DID NOT show any of the notifications for cancellation. I telephoned again and after waiting for 20 minutes spoke to a supervisor. He said when I agreed that I was 18 years or older and agreed to their 'Terms & Conditions' and I agreed to pay for the product and have ongoing charges. I said that the Terms & Conditions didn't provide any details on what needed to be done in order to cancel and the supervisor said..'That information isn't in the Terms & Conditions'. I'm supposed to get a 50% refund so we'll see.

My complaint with this company, I ordered a trial for 5.95$ that I seen on ***, I had also seen that it was on other shows saying it was great and worked , being *** with not a lot of money 5.95$ sounded great . Being just before Christmas I thought I treat myself 12/20/2018 . I used my bank card/ *** card to pay the 5.95$ . I got the package and tried it right away because it was a trial, which means you get to try it to find out if you like it, I did not like it at all , it made my face feel extremely dry and flake off /as well turn red with a rash looking ,so I quit using it and forgot about it . When January came I had little money in my bank account and adding my next pay was going to be my morg. money so I hadn't check my bank account cause I new what was there. On January. my bank phone me and my morage didn't go through, they contacted me on January 7 , 2019 , at first I didn't know what was going on or who these .com where that were taking money out of my bank because I didn't order anything that was that much money.By Thursday January 10 I contacted the company and told them ( Gleamand glow skincare) that I hadn't order more product from them and they made a mistake, the man I talk to on phone was very impolite and didn't care that they took my morage moneys and was not giving it back that I didn't follow the rules of ordering this trail products. I had told him that I did and none of that was there in writing, he said yes it was , I know it wasn't or I wouldn't of order anything. I said I would return the product my expense he said no cause I used some and I wasn't suppose to, but it's a trail package, nope . That is not what it says in advertising message. I order this trial package on 12/06/2018 and receive it on 12/28/2018 and was charged $189.97$ on January 3 and 179.98$ on January 3 from Gleam And Glow Anti -Aging . Order # XXXXXX . Ref No. XXXXXXX . Order ID :

Desired Outcome

I WOULD LIKE MY MORAGE MONEY BACK

Not only do they charge you ~$100 per product after 2 weeks, the product is ***. They refused to refund me.

I would like to file a complaint against Gleam and Glow
Order Number: XXXXXX. I do not agree with how they advertise the free offer online. I ordered online to get a free trial of the product and to only pay for shipping for the free trial sample. They did not mention of monthly charges or a trail period to cancel purchasing this product. I was offered a free trial and was to only pay for shipping. my credit card was charge $99.79 for XXXXXXXXXX*SKINCARE and $109.79 for XXXXXXXXXX*SKINGREAT. I did not receive any email confirmation, account number, invoice or membership information with the product that would suggest that further billing would occur or what that billing would entail (such as date of billing or price of product). I contacted customer service (it took a while to hunt down a number for them) and somewhere in the terms and conditions there is a loop hole, the company was able to automatically charge me. I was told that I could not be refunded as I should have cancelled before the 14 days trial ended. I want my money refunded for these charges of $99.79 and $109.79 Please help me get my money returned.

Desired Outcome

Money refunded

Customer Response • Feb 11, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)I appreciate the company's response. While I assumed that I missed some very small print about agreeing to some kind of subscription terms, it was just that: a very small detail that was easily missed. I know that companies do this intentionally, make the terms easy to kiss, and then put the onus on the customer to cancel, so please ensure that your terms are more clearly indicated, thank you very much. Your response in this matter does increase my likelihood of being a customer.

The co. sent me the product that I did not order. They billed me 126.03 They promised to refund money two weeks ago via my visa.but no money refunded. Please help.M. K. order no.XXXXXX

I ordered the free cream from Gleam & Glow for a CAD $4.95, this is to cover the cost of shipping on Oct.12, 2018. The offer clearly states that you only to pay $4.95 for shipping.
But they charged $4.95+$5.94 first. This is OK.
But they sent me two more same cream even I didn't order any more. And then, I have been charged two more amount of money on my CC. One for $109.79+$49.89, the other is the same amount on Dec.02 & Dec.31, 2018.
I was shocked when I seen the money taken out my bank. *** At first I didn't even know who charged my CC. That is the result even thouth I received Cancellation Notification from them about the Order# XXXXXX and #XXXXXX on Jan.05, 2019 which I never made the order.
***
And I am ready to return unopened bottles which I didn't order and I really want to get back my money, $318.36. Please help me!!

Desired Outcome

Please let me pay back my money, $318.36.

I responded to an ad to try their products. I didn't want them to think I had signed up for any auto ship ***, so right away emailed the email provided to state very plainly that I didn't want any more products sent via auto ship. They did NOT cancel my order, and in fact sent and billed me for more products that were at an even higher price. VERY disappointed in this company.

I do not ave any account # with these people. for 3 months they have *** money from me and I want it to stop now and I want my money back.

Desired Outcome

i want this company to stop *** moneyfrom me. I did not sign up for anything

I paid $4.95 shipping for a "free sample" of Gleam & Glow Anti-Aging Moisturizer Cream. Apparently it wasn't a free sample as the advertising suggested, but they then charge you $100 for in in 3 weeks.

I paid $5.94 shipping for a "free sample" of Gleam & Glow Advanced Eye Treatment. Apparently it wasn't a free sample as the advertising suggested, but they then charge you $100 for in in 3 weeks.

Then another $100 charge went through and I called them. They said I was automatically subscribed!

So they got away with over $300 in charges. I don't know where the fine print was detailing all of this, but it was well hidden.

*** SNEAKY usage of your credit card info. !!!

How can they get away with freely charging up your credit card and pretending you signed up for these charges'!!
Product_Or_Service: Gleam & Glow Anti-Aging Moisturizer Cream
Order_Number:

Desired Outcome

Refund I will happily send back any and all product received for my money back. Proper resolution would be to clearly detail all advertising so that it is understood what charges this company will be putting through on your credit card. How can they get away with freely charging up your credit card and pretending you signed up for these charges'!!

In June 2018 I accepted an offer of one delivery of 2 skin products, to be paid for via Mastercard. That one only delivery turned into monthly deliveries for which I did not agree.

Desired Outcome

Refund for the products I did not order.

I received a free gift after filling out a survey. It was supposed to be a cream that was charged at $29.95 plus some shipping costs. Then I received additional charges this month for purchases I didn't do. The charges were $99.79 and $109.79. I called the company and they said that I didn't read the terms and conditions. The clerk offered some other creams but I declined and cancelled the account.

. They advertise that the product is free and you only pay the shipping and fail to mention or bury the information somewhere telling you that you need to call them back within 14 days to say you don't want the product which is ridiculously overpriced. I was also told no refund. After cancelling my subscription the customer support rep then tried to rope me into the same *** offering me another "free" sample.

Gleam and glow Got my money for sample, added products that I didn't order, without my permission, and charged full price for it.
They have your credit card and keep charging and sending the creams, but now they charge full price, $109.79 and $99.79 for sample size. The cream is not even good to use as a shoe polish, and***'s face is attached to this ***. I only trusted to try this cream because she was a "spokesperson " for this company, seeing advertising in one of magazines. When contacted customer service on Phillipins for company, that supposedly located in North York, Ontario, Canada, they refused to return the money. ***. I want my money back!!!!

I spent over an hour on the phone after realizing I'd had $200 charged to my credit card. I don't care what the "FINE PRINT" says, there in no way should be an automatic sign up to a company when you're clicking on a free trial option. I was told it wasn't a free sample (because that was the word I was using) but a free TRIAL. The most misleading, *** link I've ever followed. Can't believe I was so gullible. But worse, when I called in to demand my money back, I was told I was too late. Even after I found another clause that allows you to return the product if you're unhappy with it, they still wouldn't allow me because it was open. Well how could I know if I was unhappy with it if the packaging was still sealed?!?! Then, when I received a second shipment of the same thing, I told them the box was still sealed and nope, they wouldn't accept that either. The ad is STILL on the internet. *** I want my money back, not the "free" products they sent to make up for it!!

offered a free gift for filling out a survey. Posing as ***. I filled out the survey and paid the shipping. Got a call a few minutes later that I didn't pay enough shipping, it was actually more. Alarm bells started to go off and I told her, no, I don't want the product, and would not pay the extra shipping. Well... Got it anyways, and then was shocked when I received another. Checked my credit card and I was charged twice 109.79... even though I only received 1 bottle. I called the number on the box when I received it and they said it was in the terms and conditions. I knew NOTHING of this being a subscription. They offered me 50% back of one of $109.79 charges... ***. ***. ***. I want a FULL refund like every one else!!!
