Glendale Roofing made the whole process super easy. They also had the best price out of 3 quotes I received. It was done fast and clean. I was surprised how well they cleaned after the removal. One of the ladies on the crew was nice enough to knock on the door to let me know they were done going in and out of the gate, so I could let my dogs out. They other reason I chose Glendale Roofing after a customer referred me, is because they have been in business, in the valley for a long time. Not some fly by night hail storm chasers that wont be around to warrant their work. I highly recommend them!

We had a very good experience with Glendale Roofing. We had a couple of leaks that had previously been repaired but did not hold. JD and his team came out, prescribed a permanent fix and were able to schedule us within a week. The workers were on site working exactly when they had promised and the work was completed in 2 days. The crew went to great lengths to insure the worksite was clean on completion. I didn’t have to do any clean-up. I’d recommend Glendale Roofing for any size job for their high quality work and integrity.

Review: After the big hail storm of a few years ago, I needed my roof replaced. Having no knowledge of such things, I went to the yellow pages to try & educate myself. I chose Glendale Roofing. The main reason I did, was because their ad said "in business since 1961" Thinking that they must be doing something right, to be in business for so long, I chose them. Now, my roof is leaking & the drywall is falling off my ceiling. When I called them to try & get a repair, they told me some things that just astounded me. 1) there is only a 2 year warranty on my Brand New Roof & 2) they DID NOT do the job.. Did NOT do the job!! What the heck were they talking about? I was informed that during that time, there were numerous roofers from out of state & somehow, ( & I don't know how) they gave the job to "[redacted]" from Kentuckey! KENTUCKEY?!?!?!! I did not hire [redacted]. I did not hire an out of state company. The woman ([redacted]) I spoke to from Glendale Roofing (###-###-####) said that she was not with the company at the time. So what?! So I called (long distance) to [redacted] (###-###-####) & could only leave a message. I have not gotten a response yet, but I felt compelled to tell you about all of this, right away.Desired Settlement: Fix my roof, so it doesn't leak anymore & repair/replace the bad/missing drywall.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint. Our firm had an agreement with the previous company owners for us to service their warranty work. Any problems that would have fallen within the warranty period would have been inspected and repairs made as needed to conform to the warranty. Mr. [redacted] is reporting a problem well past his warranty period.Mr [redacted] has incorrectly stated he purchased this new roof on 10/10/2012. We have enclosed a copy of his contract dated 2/1/2011. He further gives the date of 8/15/2014 as the date his problem occurred. We have no record of any contact from Mr [redacted] about the alleged 8/15/2014 problem prior to his phone call on 2/24/2015. It seems rather odd to wait over 6 months to report a roof leak and a falling ceiling.Mr [redacted] also states the purchase price as $ 13,444.28. The records we have been given show Mr. [redacted] actually paid just $ 9233.62.Mr [redacted] called our office Feburary 24, 2015 inquiring about his warranty and reporting that he had drywall falling down. After reviewing a copy of the contract he signed, we noted he had the standard 2 year workmanship warranty. [redacted] called him back to relay that information to him. His response was to become belligerent and abusive to the point [redacted] had to warn him to become civil or she would terminate the call.This roof installation is out of the warranty period and not subject to a warranty service. I first used Glendale roofing 15 years ago when they repaired my roof after 2 other companies tried and failed to do so. Then when the high winds of the storm 2 seasons ago damaged my roof I called Glendale Roofing immediately. They worked with my insurance company and repaired the roof to complete satisfaction. A few months ago a saguaro cactus fell on my porch and destroyed that roof. Glendale Roofing again worked with my insurance company repairing my roof and improving on the original design. I find Doug and the company to be honest, trustworthy and the work is done to last. The customer service of Doug, his teams and the office staff I worked with proved I made the right choice and have no doubt the work done with last for many years to come. I have recommended Glendale Roofing to others and will continue to do so.

Joe, the first person we met from Glendale roofing took his time in examining our problem roof and explained in detail what was needed. A formal bid describing the work and possible additions was provided.

We accepted their bid and work was scheduled to match our schedule.

The old roof removal team arrived on time and were very neat in leaving our yard and driveway clear of debris.

The roofing crew arrived and was there to get materials properly placed on the roof.

They replaced some wood that had been damaged by water and proceeded to install the new roofing materials.

Allen, the supervisor was there every day and sometimes more often. He explained every thing in detail as the job progressed.

The worksite was left clean and all debris was removed.

Glendale roofing is a great company.

I just had my shingles roof renewed by Glendale Roofing and Construction, LLC. It was as pleasant an experience as you can have considering the fact that a new roof is not exactly something you want to have done just as you start the holiday season.
The crew worked very professionally and the work was completed in a timely manner.The final inspection by the company's representative was very thorough and I was assured that all was done to my satisfaction

Review: On June 3, 2011, I signed a contract with Glendale Roofing CO. Inc. (Lic# [redacted]) to have my roof replaced after having extensive hail damage. Glendale Roofing replaced the roof. The next day, I called them back out to repair issues with the area where my water heater vent went through the roof. There was black tar on my water heater that had fallen through and I could see the sky from inside my house. They came back out and "repaired" that area. Within a week afterwards, I moved and the house became a rental. Three years later, as I was preparing to put my house on the market, a monsoon came through and water was coming in again from the same place that Glendale Roofing said they had repaired. After examining the ground, I saw water damage on the drywall, and cabinet near the water heater, indicating that this had been going on without my knowledge for some time.

I called Glendale Roofing and they said that they would send someone out to see the problem. ( I spoke with ** for the rest of the phone conversations). They took pictures and four days later, I heard back from them. They said that there was damage to the flashing and would need to put mesh and mastic on the roof to repair it. Then they told me that it would cost $196 to repair it. I mentioned that for a twenty year roof, I did not believe that I should have to pay for the repair, especially since I had already addressed it the day after my roof was replaced and the repair obviously was not done correctly. At this time, ** said that they were not the same Glendale Roofing that put the roof on my house. He told me that Valley Roofing bought the company and I would have to contact them. He stated that They were just trying to help me out in getting it fixed.

I then called the AZ registrar of Contractors and asked them who assumed liability for the company since Glendale Roofing was sold in 2012. The ROC verified that Glendale Roofing and Construction assumed liability on Oct 5, 2012. I was speaking to the correct company all along! I called ** back ( I asked to speak with the owner, but was told that he is hearing impaired and ** was the next person under him). I told ** what the ROC had stated and he said that was not true and even if it was true, the warranty is only a two year warranty and there was nothing they would do about it. At that time, I mentioned that I would have to contact the Revdex.com and he told me to go ahead.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the roof repaired in the correct way, so that it doesn't continue to leak! I would be happy to either have them come out to repair it (without charge) or to have them pay for someone else (whom I choose) to repair it.

Thank you for the opportunity to address this issue. We have read the statements and are somewhat surprised that this homeowner felt the need to file this complaint. While the homeowner was told, incorrectly, about the responsibility of Glendale Roofing & Construction LLC (Company), the homeowner also received a return call later that same day correcting that error and stating to them that the owner of the Company would contact them the following day via e-mail. That fact seems to be missing from the complaint. While we are not the same company that installed this roof, we were required to assume the 2 year workmanship liability of Glendale Roofing Company Inc. As the Arizona Registrar of Contractors has correctly pointed out, we have done so and have made repairs under those 2 year warranties at no cost to the homeowners who had reported them to us. This homeowner was advised of the fact that they had a 2 year warranty and it expired in June of 2013. The homeowner states that this appears to be an ongoing problem from the original install. We have searched our records and cannot find any previous complaints regarding any reported on-going leaking. Although we have no further responsibility to make any repairs to this roof, we had already decided to make this repair at no cost given that the owner does not reside there and, therefore, was apparently not knowledgeable of a roof leak until now. We have performed any and all repairs needed under the warranties of the previous company without fail. We have had a flawless record of service to hundreds of customers and take our responsibility to our customers and to those of the previous company very seriously. Glendale Roofing was absolutely the best roofing company I have ever used and I have had four roofs installed on my house over the past forty years. From the sales person to the two roofers and the supervisor it was a worry free experience. I would recommend Glendale Roofing to anyone. I did some roofing when I was young and can say that the roofers for Glendale Roofing were real pros and did not hurry. The sales person was with me from beginning to end and handled my insurance claim with State Farm instead of me having to do it. If I ever need another roof on this house I will use only Glendale Roofing.

They replaced our roof when we had the terrible hail storm about 5 years ago and recently within the last 1 year, we started getting a leak in the roof. They have been great to work with and reasonable in additional charges to repair the roof in spite of the warranty being out of date. We are glad we went with a local company.

From the first consultation with JD through to Job finish, I only had absolute professional people dealing with my re-roof. Living 6000 miles away in the UK I needed a trustworthy and reliable company who kept too time and budget, with an exceptional site manager Alan who only had my best interests at the top of the list, and consulted me to make sure I got the new roof and painting I was expecting.

I would not hesitate in recomending Glendale roofing for all your roofing problems, with their friendly professional family company.

Glendale Roofing & Construction stepped in when my kitchen had been torn up due to a slab leak. Both JD and Doug were great to work with.. They were professional and quick to get me back up and running, and even helped me in dealing with my insurance company. I can't say enough how much I appreciated all that they did.
