On Friday August 19th my without authorization or confirmation Global Auto Transportation charged a deposit of $245.00 to my bank account. It was unauthorized and I received no prior notification of this charge from the company or representative of the company. I immediately contacted Global Auto Transportation and spoke with a rep who told me it was a mistake, the employee that charged it had been terminated because if similar mistakes. I was told I would be refunded by the end of the day or Monday the 22nd of August at the latest. After about a week of continual runaround and excuses along with being told the amount of money means nothing to them I contacted my bank and notified them of the unauthorized charge and my contact experience with global auto transportation. To this date September 18th global auto has not corrected their error or refunded my money. In three of four conversations with global auto I have been spoken down too in a very condescending manner, hung up on as well as told it is my fault because I notified my bank. Terribly unprofessional buisness ethic and people.

[redacted] and the guys over at Global are truly the exception in an industry where ethics are optional and being customer orientated is a rarity. I went through a nightmare of an ordeal with one of those bad companies, which led me to Global and they just out-preformed anything I had ever seen before, and I have shipped a few cars. They had my car safely on a carrier less than 24 hours after our first call, went above and beyond to make it happen and I am beyond appreciative for all of their efforts. I should also mention, because it's rare, the driver who ended up picking up my car was a little more costly then originally quoted (a fair price, lower than most), Global paid the difference so my price would remain the same and I didn't ask them too. I'm a customer for life and if you use them, like I urge you to, you will be as well

They did an amazing job and my shipping was handled pretty much how we discussed. The driver was a bit late on pick up, I believe he had some issues with one of his cars on the route but it got handled.The whole process took less than a week and my vehicle arrived looking the same as at the first time I'd seen it. Very cool!

I was pretty skeptical of companies with only excellent ratings but these guys have earned it . They quote was really quick , the communication was amazing and the delivery time was very short . Many thanks to Elena and the rest of the crew for the easy move.

I've worked with Arthur in the past and he is my go-to-guy for vehicle transport. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and would love to work with him again in the future.

Thanks Global for your time and attention as my experience was satisfactory for the price I was given. My 2014 Audi A4 was shipped from California to Ohio. Primary contact was Jason. He was on top of things during the shipment process. He was easy to work, followed up with me throughout the process, didn't make false promises which was exactly opposite of everyone else I had dealt with to that point. The driver was friendly gave me courtesy calls to prompt me on his arrival. My car was picked up at LA and dropped off at Cincinnati to my brother's house. Would highly recommend Jason and Global Team!

we contracted Elena saturday morning. we explained that we needed to ship my dad's car Austin Texas and that there was no one who could drive the car to a pickup point and the driver needed to come to his place to pick it up. She understood the delicateness of the situation and took charge. I am really surprised to see the personalized attention that Elena has shown throughout the entire process. AWESOME!

The hardest part is finding a reliable company to ship your car...the rest isn't so bad. Not to mention having to reach out and get quotes from different companies is time consuming.
I ended up going with global for a few reasons:
1) Elana the sales rep was really insightful. She was extremely helpful and friendly.
2) I drove her crazy with all my questions but she answered them patiently.
3) she genuinely cared a lot about the shipment...whereas some other companies clearly just seemed interested in my wallet. They rushed the process and were in such a hurry to have me book with them!

The pickup was scheduled for the next afternoon. couldn't be better! They gave me a delivery date of 4 days. However, the morning of the pickup, the driver called to tell me it would be delayed a bit. It was a small inconvenience since I had to readjust my schedule. He actually arrived at 6 pm and shipped the car in 3 days at 7 pm. It wasn't dark when he arrived to we did the inspection. I knew from the reviews that a lot of people got into trouble because the inspection happened in the evening and they didn't even notice the damages to the car.

So I was super pleased with the customer service but I cant say the same about the drivers customer care. He only called that one time and I had to reach out to him about a few other times, which was kind of annoying but not a huge deal. Overall, a good experience! It was shipped in an enclosed container and arrived in one piece WITHOUT A SCRATCH and CLEAN. Whew! It was about $200 less than what other places offered so I can't complain!

I was originally signed up with another transportation company. They promised that they would pickup my car in two days and call me the next day for the exact pickup date, but of course I never got a single call from them.

After a month of trying to negotiate with them, I called Global. No joke, 2 days after I signed the contract my Mazda was picked up! Within 4 days it had made it all the way across the country and was delivered to my doorstep. The driver was very professional.

I used many websites to get a price for my 2014 Kia Forte shipping from Camden, New Jersey. Pricing ranged from 750 USD to 1250 USD. Global was somewhere in the middle, but Chris was willing to work around my schedule and accommodate my needs, so I preferred to get my car shipped on the day I needed than go with cheaper company and wait at least a week to pick it up. Though the driver was very efficient and communicated very well. He even helped me to get the vehicle to my house by driving it to my place as he couldn't come directly to my home.

I would like to start my comment by stating that I got my car this morning undamaged and clear! This was my first time shipping a car from San Jose. I was browsing on the Internet and submitted quotes on various car shipping companies' websites. Started to get calls, emails, and voice mails for days. I was pretty annoyed . By chance, I picked up Elena's call and she was very straight forward and explained to me the auto transport business. First conversation happened February 6th Saturday morning. We arranged the pickup on February 18th. I called a week before and the day of my first choice to check in but they haven't found a driver yet. Elena was saying it would take one more day. When she found the driver, she called me to get the credit card info to charge the deposit. She said she wouldn't charge the deposit until the car was on the truck. The driver called me on February 17th and we arranged a pick up time, no hassle. However, then the carrier worked with me by altering the pick up time and everything worked out fine. The new vehicle was delivered to my new home a day later than scheduled but thorough check indicated it was in essentially the same condition as when it had been picked up. He delivered it right to the driveway of my new place. Little different on the time of pickup and delivery, but manageable.
A little more expensive but who knows how much the overall expense would have been from the other companies. I wanted to thank Elena and Chris to put my worries to rest when I called back in after paying my deposit. Very Professional staff. They are incredible and the service was nothing short of amazing. long story short 5 out of 5 stars hands down.

I wasn't sure when I needed my car shipped out since I was waiting for my brother to come to my hometown, but Laura was really helpful and flexible. When my brother bought the tickets, so I knew the date, Laura was very quick to schedule the next available pick up and was really responsive checking to see if I had any updates. My 2015 Toyota Tacoma was picked up in Winston-Salem, NC on the first available date of the pickup window Laura had given me. She gave me an estimate date for drop off even though he let me know the driver would call me to give exact date for drop off. I got a call from Laura on Wednesday when the vehicle was supposed to arrive and she said that there was some mechanical failure and my car would arrive 2 days later. Carrier called me Thursday morning to say that the car shipment had to be on Friday. Driver gave a call when he was 2 hours out. Unloading took 15 minutes and my car was in great shape. I understand that there were many things that Laura and trucking people couldn't control but they did their best to let me know about every change in our schedule.

Good company, great price, and fantastic service. Would highly recommend and use again in the future.

Hubby and I love to travel and have been trying to do more traveling. We have small children who would be staying with family, but we didn't want to take advantage and go on an extra long vacation like we did pre-chaps. We wanted to use our vehicle on the trip, but if we drove, half of our trip would be spent recovering from travel. I know what you are thinking, why not rent a car? Wouldn't it be more expensive to ship and pay for flights? Nope! I am a planner so I catch those amazing flight sales and we arrange our trips around that. One of my friends recently told me about shipping your vehicle and it sounded expensive, like an extra luxury on top of our vacation. She told me that is was pretty reasonable, so I checked it out. I got the quote, crunched the numbers and was surprised to realize that the difference between shipping and driving was really small. We opted for the open truck instead of the enclosed, which saved us some money too. Paid the $145 for our deposit, dropped the car off in their yard two days before our flight and we were off!


Shipping was anticipated to be two days, but it was shipped in three. Totally not their fault, lots of roadwork going on and they did an excellent job of keeping us updated. Plus the car was delivered in great condition (pretty remarkable considering it was in an open carrier for about 4 days) and our driver was super nice and professional. When the car arrived at the address we gave, my husband paid our driver in cash (plus tip of course). Arthur was amazing, providing top notch customer service. I will definitely be calling them when it is time to ship our car back.

I have to say this since its so hard to find a good transport company these days. I have a 99 ford ranger and live on the eastern shore of maryland and needed her shipped to denver, co. Everyone I spoke to bout this kind of thing warned me over and over again about scammers and shady companies but I found a company that seemed reputable and went ahead with it. The price was good, the insurance was good and the customer service was great. The fact that the driver was so nice really helped me with my nerves and the tension of the whole thing and I felt at ease. He said he'd call when he arrived to pick up and I actually gave him my friends # because I wasn't going to be able to make it at the time. Needless to say she was scared about taking the responsibility but he called her, she met him and took my ranger. When I saw my truck, everything was perfect...well maintained and actually look cleaner than when i'd left it.This company made this process so incredibly simple and I have to thank arthur and elena for their delivery and the followup I received. they asked if I was happy..yep:) thanks!

It is mind boggling that this Scottsdale office exist. I have to move my vintage 13' trailer because the town of Carefree doesn'allow them on your property. I have to move it by Mon. You would think this would give them plenty of time! I called Global on 9/7/16 and told them I have a 13' vintage trailer to ship. Gave them all the info including that this was urgent. They said they would call me back in an hour. Never got a call back. I called back late afternoon, was the on hold for 13 min then got disconnected. It is worth mentioning that when you call you get thrown into hold without talking to anyone. Really! I finally got through to Chris and was told that Elaina made all the appointments but she wasn't in as she was setting up some new programs in another area. After much conversation he was able to find her. She was nice and promised to confirm pick up the next morning. Never heard from her. On 12/9 at 11:40 am I left Elaina a voicemail and an email pleading for her to call me. I am running out of time. Nothing happened.
On 12/9 at 1:32 I got yet another person, George. He told me he doesn't see anything on the computer. I told him what was going on. He put me on hold for 20 min saying he was going to find Elaina. I finally hung up and called back and spoke with Bruce. He said George was on a lunch break. So, while I was on hold he took off for lunch! Bruce stated he would call me back in 10 min. Guess what, he never called. I called back and got hung up on. I was so down to the wire I decided to make one more call at 2:18. Asked for supervisor. On hold for another 14 min. Finally spoke with Arthur who said he was a manager. He stated he would be checking phone recording and he may have to fire a couple of people. He understood my problem. He stated that the truck broke down and he would try to find a contracted carrier and call me back. It is now the 10th. No call back. So, I am now forced to pay $300 to put it in storage until I find a reliable company to move it. Being a retired Director of Nursing I am positive I could go in there and have it working like a fine tooth comb! No excuse for a business to run this way. They obviously don't need my money. Sad.

I was starting at another office in a different city and with a rep there we had to send a vehicle across quickly so he could move around.
So I called yo Arthur and he set up the pickup but unfortunately I had to change the address and the pick up date due to an unexpected emergency. In spite of this he got everything taken care of smoothly and if there's ever a need for me to move my car for my next job I'll definitely utilize his services again.

Elena assigned the best driver ever! He was a man of his word and my vehicle arrived on time and not a scratch on it. It was a quick transport, and everything was fine.
