 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I was contacted by [redacted] Cpc on September 19th via email. The email was: [redacted],  As per our conversation, please contact the movers to
proceed with your claim- since their account is on hold with us and we
cannot proceed with any claims. Since that date I have heard nothing form the insurer ( [redacted] Cpc) or the mover (Global Relocation).

Review: Global relocation INC(US DOT:[redacted] ICC MC:[redacted] ) gave me an estimate of move from Philadelphia to Cleveland $1024 after a very detailed inventory of one single bedroom apartment with hardly any furniture . They arrived 8hours late and did not call to let me know the delay. After moving the goods in the truck they came up with a $2224 when I did not put anything extra from the previous estimate. The manager [redacted] said she will address the issue as I refused to pay the extra ,never called back. The company never responds to call. Its been 20days since I was moved, and the delivery was supposed to happen 11days ago. I still dont have my goods. I donot belive I have to pay anything extra for this poor service and ridiculous price. I as a customer is being cheated. They know that the estimated inventory is same as the real inventory but why charge more.Desired Settlement: I want to pay nothing more than the estimated price of 1024 $ as I have not put one single product which was not listed in the inventory and the estimate cannot become 100% more than the initial quote.

[Your Answer Here]

The Global relocation inc. delivered my move 3 weeks after the promised date. They damaged 2 long metallic lamps, Water was all over my TV, there was water on my speakers which are damaged, two tables are broken. I dont know how these thugs area allowed to operate. They movers then demanded 150$ to move the stuff into my apartment, I refused. They left the apartment without fixing the box springs. I have no more words to describe. Just dont become a victim of these mean people.

Review: I contracted Global Relocation in June 2013 to provide a household move for me from CT to IN - price agreed upon was increased on their end. Items moved and on contracted BOL (bill of lading) were not delivered to me in IN and lastly, all of my furniture was damaged by this professional moving company.Desired Settlement: I am looking to be fully reimbursed for the purchase price for all of the items that were taken from my home in CT and not delivered to me in IN (that are on the orig. bill of lading.) I am also looking for reimbursement for all of my damaged furniture - orig quote mentioned all furniture would be wrapped in moving blankets - I have photo's all of my furniture was wrapped in brown paper with packing tape.

Review: False Advertisement stating that they are not a Broker and they ARE!!!! They have you believe that they ARE the moving company and sign the contract with them and their website states that THEIR OWN LOGOED GLOBAL RELOCATION VAN TRUCKS when they move you and you will feel safe and secure knowing it them moving your goods. NO LOGOED trucks!!! Extra fees charged to your credit card for unknown services. They LIE to get you business and promise delivery dates which are non existent!!!! THEY LIE!!!!! Then a different moving company comes out called [redacted], New Jersey showing up in a plain white box truck!!! NO LOGO!!!! Then the driver gets out and hands me an envelope says that this is for tips and I better tip well before they did ANYTHING!!!!! UNREAL!!!! I call it bribery!!! Still to this day, 12 days later after making between 21 to 28 calls every other day to Global Relocation because they will not answer their calls and just sent it straight to voice mail, I still have no idea when my delivery date for mu household furniture and belongings will be delivered.Desired Settlement: I want my household furniture and belongings delivered NOW and in great condition as they were picked in in and nothing missing or stolen. They are many complaints on their website about what I have mentioned here and much more and I urge you to check out their reviews!!!!

Review: I hired global relocation to move my household items from [redacted] to [redacted] Ga. It took almost a month and once the items were delivered. Items were missing, scratched and destroyed. I have called to file a complaint and I was given an incorrect or false email address to file the claim, I called back to get the correct information and no one is answering the phones.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my missing items or be compensated and be compensated for the damages toy items

Review: I hired Global Relocation Inc as my movers from [redacted], NJ to [redacted], FL.There have been many issues with this company. 1) as they were loading my things into the truck they told me that the estimate was way too low (almost by half) and that it would cost my an additional $1200.00 if I wanted them to continue with the move. This was 1 day before my closing! I paid with a credit card immediately and complained about being low-balled. A week later, they called me and told me that they could not accept my credit card since I was complaining and that they would not deliver my boxes to Florida until I gave them an e-check from the Bank. This delayed my delivery of things by 6 days. 2) my items arrived horribly. Most of the boxes were squashed. Things were broken. And 1 of my flat screen TV never even made it onto the truck.I have repeatedly called the phone number and do not get a response, the system goes into voice mail or just says "goodbye". I did on 2 occasions reach a female named [redacted]. She told me that I should e-mail her with the complaint which I did. No response. Someone did call me regarding a claim but I failed to get the name and no number was given (this was weeks ago with no results). [redacted] told me when I asked for a supervisor's name and direct phone # that she could not give it to me but would relay the message. I told her that I would be happy to get in touch with the CEO or any management person but she would not give out any information. It have been over a month and I have not heard or am able to get in touch with anyone from this company. The only phone # I have is[redacted] I believe this is to a satallite office in [redacted], NJ.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded at least $500 for my move PLUS replacement of a 36" Flat Screen TV

Review: We contracted with Global Relocation, Inc. to move our household items from [redacted], FL to [redacted], PA.This company collected our deposit and sent a confirmation email explaining that our pick-up date would be 6/7/13. When we didn't hear from them the day prior to pick-up (as was indicated), we called salesman who said driver had been trying to contact us to arrange pick-up time. We explained we had not heard from anyone and no voicemail. Once they finally picked up our items on 6/8/13, they said we would receive at new residence within 5-8 business days . . .Fast forward 3 weeks to 6/27/13 and our stuff is still not in our possession, and we have been given every excuse from Global Relocation up to and including yesterday's phone call stating they had attempted to deliver and that our belongings had then been placed in a storage facility at an undisclosed location. They were supposed to call us 24 hrs prior to delivery to schedule a time and to ensure that someone was home so that the movers could actually deliver. We had to call them to get this information as this company DOES NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS. All communication below is us calling them. Over the past 3 weeks, the following has occurred:1. 6/7/13, told truck broke down and driver trying to get ahold of us to reschedule pickup date. No missed calls on our phones; no vm.2. 6/10-6/14/13, told by [redacted] at Global we would be refunded deposit of @$275.00.3. 6/17/13, told by Xavier that truck broke down en route to PA. Then told by Mgr/Owner [redacted] that [redacted] had no authority to refund deposit, offered a $100 discount given scheduling issue. Told would have itemized bill by 6/18; still have not received, nor a return call.4. 6/25/13, told by Ken via vm that driver trying to arrange delivery. No calls from driver, no vm. Live person unreachable at business.5. 6/26/13, told by Xavier that driver tried to deliver and items now in storage. Put on hold, then hung up or dropped line; no live person upon calls back.Desired Settlement: This company has not lived up to any promise they've made us, whether on paper or verbally. They are avoiding us because they don't want to deal with legitimately frustrated customers. They have gone back on the deposit refund they said they would issue, have not communicated about our bill nor any pick-up/delivery times. We still do not have our stuff. We want it delivered to us in accordance with what Global promised, and seek a refund for issues listed above.

Review: The complaint is against the company practices and the movers they hired for the job. We schedule with Global Relocation Inc for movers to come on 5/1 @ 12pm to perform full service moving from [redacted], NY to [redacted], CT, but they did not show up until almost 4pm. Once they arrived, they reviewed the the items and told us the quote that were provided to us was incorrect. The same day moving cost has almost tripled from $815 to $2350 and demanded to be paid in cash. I felt like these specific movers are using an extortion tactic, knowing that we are desparate to move on that day and in a hurry. After struggling with this, we have no choice and re-negotiate since we do not have all that cash available. So, the initiate deposit of $150 was on credit card as deposit for the job, gave these movers $1,300 in cash, and the remaining balance of $900 will the on the credit card when the job is completed (Also tipping them additional $60 for their service). By 7pm, everything is loaded onto the truck and ready to head to CT. When we got to the new apartment in CT around 9pm, we called the movers to see how much longer they will be. The mover, Jay, who was the one doing all the communication, told us that they are stuck in traffic and also stopped to grab food and will be another 1.5 hours, which is not right, since we took the same way of getting to CT. After wait another 1.5 hours, we called the movers again to see what is going on. Now, they stop picking up the phone or even turn it off. By around midnight, a text message came through that the items will be deliver in the morning. We have nothing with us in a vacant apartment with a dog and forced to check into a hotel in the middle of the night. As of this morning, another mover, which is a different crew, will be delivering all of our possessions. We felt the movers are using our possessions as hostage and we are at their mercy and control. We felt this is very, very unprofessional and has not yet complain to the company, in fear of retaliation and damage items. We want to get everything back first before we file other complaints and pray this company will take responsibilities and these specific movers are prosecuted in some way.Desired Settlement: I can understand the quote is a ballpark estimate of the cost of moving, but not tripling it, which just seem like the business practice is taking advantage of customers.

Review: This company falls into many of the nature of complaints provided here. Misrepresentation of service, has unethical collection practices, Failure to honr a verbal agreement, inappropiate behaivoir of custumer service and sales personnel where they answer the hpone and never identify their selves, then hung up on a customer plus, general manager, [redacted], when I called, not only refused her name, but ended using improper language against me when I never did that to her. They do not honor their verbal commitments and this happened to me with them 3 times. Did not honor the delivery time frame told in the sales pitch, 7-10 days. They did not honor the verbal commiment to correct any errors on loading of my goods. There was a great part of the truck empty in the front and they did not corrected that so they made me pay for space and waight not used, plus, their manager said she would give me the money from their part, for extra charges on shuttle since I informed them, not one week as hey requested, but 2 weeks before an 18 wheeler will not fit in our residential complex. Then said, like they all do, she never said that. To complete, day before delivery, she spoke on the phone with me and told me would call the driver and tell him I would give him a storage address to deliver. she actually told the driver if I didn't had the shuttle $ to take it to their strage which is more expensive than any known storega I could find close to here. In the sales presentation I was told 7-10 days for delivery. In their written agreement it is 3-21 days. Moves are to be calculated per law in weght basis, they told me it was in volume basis. And did it volume based for much more space than I actually used. Said to protect glass but I didn't see my glass in the back where the empty space was at. Tried to resolve with a $100 credit when they know it's much more than that. After they pick up your move, do not expect them to answer your call. Lady gave me an email address. Said she received my message and read it to me. However, I received an error message to my email stating that email does not exists. Meaning they ahve this automatic email most likely to defend themselves of no receiving documentation if the customer claims their wrong doing. Why I complaint in the shuttle charges? Because I gave them 2 weeks before they got here and I know they hadn't loaded our move yet. I called them 2 weeks before for them to arange a regular sized truck to bring our move and that way avoid us additional charges. They said will work on it, never did. They say they will call back, never do if you are nice and calm. Only when you presure them. From 845$ they offered as an estimate, at the end, we are paying 1825 which is $880 above and we left many furniture we told them would bring in the estimate. Plus, a lot of unused space is charged in there.Desired Settlement: I'm totally unhappy with this company's services and not even $ could bring me back they peace they took from me when that General manager spoke improper words to me, her customer. When you do not disrespect, you don't expect disrespect. Also, they never identify themselves when they answer the phone and then tell you never spoke to you. They give the same answer over and over, We'll be there next week. Next week, answer is the same. They always say dispatch is in a meeting or when you request a higher personal, they say they are out of the office or in a meeting. Just hide from the customer. I would have just received my things and keep on living, but the last lie from [redacted], who told me to call her back with my storage address and then call the driver and told him to take our stuff to their storage facility plus the improper language and conduct of the general manager got my patience to the top. Run from this co. There's a reason they have too many complaints on their behalf.

Review: On July 25, 2014 we had called Global Relocation Inc. and received a quote from Xavier. The day of our move, August 2, 2014, Xavier promised that he would be in the office to address concerns. We sent Xavier an email on August 2, 2014 and received no response. Office indicated Xavier was not in that day. We were promised 6-7 movers, instead, we only had 3 movers. The foreman gave myself dirty stares and only acknowledged my husband. The foreman did very little work and requested we give him a tip after. The foreman indicated we had more in cubit feet than the original quote and before the truck was fully loaded. At first, it was going to cost us a total of 8-9k and then 7k. After asking for a price adjustment, the foreman indicated the lowest he could go was 5,990.00. The price was more than double the original quote of 3,610.70. We removed items and placed them in the dumpster to lower the space/price. The movers missed four boxes, a child's toddler mattress, and a child's mirror. Foreman was not willing to negotiate price down further. The foreman would not leave the property until we signed the invoice indicating if invoice was not signed, truck would not leave and items would be unloaded for a cost of 7,200.00. Also, original quote stated we were to pay 25% upon requesting truck, 50% at pick up, and 25% at delivery; foreman indicated 50% instead of 25% was due at delivery. When invoice totals were added up, total came to 5,880.00 instead of 5,990.00; clearly a discrepancy. At this point hands were tied and we felt we had been strong-armed and harassed into signing invoice.Office was closed by the time items were loaded. Since Monday, August 4, 2014, Office has been contacted by both my husband and I through email and multiple phone messages with little to no response. We are passed to staff members or receive voicemail. We have requested the company contact us by cell phone as home line has been disconnected due to move. It has been 96 hours with no return calls.Desired Settlement: My husband and I are requesting that the invoice percentages be readjusted to the original quote of 25%, 50%, 25% not 50% redelivery. We are requesting price be readjusted to 3,610.70 as per original quote. We are requesting that all furniture in truck be redelivered with no hidden or additional fees beyond 3,610.70 total AND that all furniture disassembled be reassembled in this price. No additional redelivery fee. New foreman is requested. Office contact us and agree in writing.

Review: I placed a move with Global Relocation originally for 9/6/13 and it was quoted at $900.00. I changed the move to 9/13/13. They called on 9/5/13 to pick up which was the wrong date. They came and picked up on 9/13/13 but no one called the day before as promised or the day to let us know they were even coming. The quote changed to $1057.00 after they claim we took up more room than we did. Today is 9/28/13 and we still have no furniture. We have been calling and no one is answering. I have a bad back and its getting worse as a result of not having my bed to sleep on. We were promised we would get our things on 9/20/2013. No one knows where the truck is and I was even talked to like a child when I called to see what was going on. The truck was supposedly had to have left on Wednesday 9/25/2013 and we were then promised delivery from 3-5 days but no one knows where the truck is.

Review: I move every 6-8 months for my job, and have used various 3rd party shipping companies. Global Relocation is by far the most disorganized, dishonest company I've ever worked with. DO NOT believe anything Xavier or any other sales rep there says. Literally, every single promise he made was a complete lie starting from the initial quote. I went over the inventory list with him 3 times. I took the time to do the cubic measurements myself and provided the dimensions of every large piece of furniture. Moving day..the movers showed up 4 hours late without the correct truck and without the mattress cover as promised by Xavier. I told them which items were going in the truck and which items were staying. They didn't follow my instructions whatsoever. I told the one in charge that Xavier had promised a mattress cover, and he gave me this grin and said "we will get you a mattress cover". That never happened..they delivered my brand new $1500 mattress wrapped in this disgusting moving blanket. It literally smells like a wet dog now. I had to pay to have it professionally cleaned. So, when they finally got everything packed, he gave me the revised price, which was over $2000 more than the quote. I told the kid to get his manager on the phone, so I then talked with Farrah. After arguing for about 10 min, she said she would lower the rate/cubic ft. That ended up being a joke and I told her no way, so then she came back and said they would do it for a lower flat rate. I was moving the next morning, so I had no other option but to eat it, so I said fine. The movers confirmed what Xavier had said, it will be 3-5 business days for delivery. That was a lie..they didn't end up delivering everything until weeks later. I tried getting updates on my delivery multiple times. After being hung up on, sitting on hold for over 30 min, multiple un-returned phone calls (after leaving messages), I was finally able to get a date as to when I would be receiving everything. So, I was told the movers would be delivering my belongings on the following Friday. The Tuesday night before (at 10pm) the delivery date, I get a call from the movers saying they would be at my house the next morning at 8am and that I would need to be there in order to receive everything. Unlike the rest of these incompetent frauds, I make an honest living working M-F, so this obviously was a problem considering I had to be at work the next day. I ended up taking a half day vacation because the movers said they would be there at 8am sharp and would only take 2-3 hrs total. The next morning, 9am roles around so I call. This guy answers and says he taking a nap at a parking lot nearby, but will be at my place in the next 30 minutes. Another hour goes by, so I call again..HE WAS STILL SLEEPING. They eventually arrive at 11am (3hrs late). The driver tells me a few items were damaged in the move..it wasn't a few, EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF FURNITURE WAS DAMAGED. Even the stuff packed in boxes labeled "FRAGILE" were broken (Brand new LED monitor screen was shattered, various electronics, and dishware). I have a very nice maple wood dining room table..there are scratches, dents, and scuffs all over this table now. They broke the legs on one of the dining room table chairs. The drawers to my dresser won't even slide all the way in anymore because of how badly damaged it was. My couches smell the same way the mattress does now..like a wet musty basement. I also had to have those professionally cleaned. To top it all off, the rear fender to my brand new Harley had a serious dent in it to the point where I'm going to have to get it replaced if I ever want to sell it. The movers told me to file an insurance claim..DON'T bother getting the insurance through Global Relo, it's a complete scam just like the rest of it. It's at the point now where they won't even return my phone calls/emails.Desired Settlement: I would like for all of my damaged items to be replaced and/or repaired.

Review: Per your request, I am emailing you an account of my experience with Global Relocation, thus farFirst, let me say, I was reluctant to use a moving company from the start- because I heard horror stories from people about being "bait and switched" on pricing, delivery timing, etcIn spite of this reluctance, and because of the assurances of your salesperson [redacted], we chose to use you for our family relocation from NY to FloridaOur experience has been a series of disappointments, inconsistencies, mis-information and poor customer serviceLet me highlight just a few for you:The initial quote was around $HOWEVER- the actual charges exceed $3,When scheduling pickup and delivery dates on the phone with [redacted], we discussed 6/pickup in NY and 7/delivery in Florida-HOWEVER- only the foreman actually said it could be up to business days to deliver our items- when already on siteI called prior to the pick up date to ask [redacted] if we needed to package the odd shaped items- such as wicker baskets- or if the movers would fit them in along with the boxes on the truck- like we would if using a [redacted]- he said it would be no problem- the movers would fit them in and would have on hand and use blankets to help pack items, HOWEVER- the movers boxed every item- even some we already had bubble wrapped or wrapped in blankets and not only charged us for the boxes- but also to pack themRealizing we would have more inventory than previously expected, I called [redacted] to ask if the truck could handle additional items and if the people on site could reprice the estimate for us- he assured me they could- and on site the foreman [redacted] said it looked like an easy job - but around twice what we estimated on inventory- and said he thought the loose items would fit into wardrobe boxes, at $each, HOWEVER- the charges came to 4X the original inventory charges and the foreman charged us $for packaging, boxes and packing- including or wardrobe boxes and additional packing materials, and re-wrapped and boxed some items we already wrappedUpon contacting your company earlier this week, after we arrived in Florida, I spoke directly with you on the phone- when I told you a little about how distraught I was about our experience and how my family really needed to know when our delivery would be in Florida, you asked me to hold and said you would pull our paperwork and return to the call to help me- HOWEVER- after minutes of being ignored while holding, I had to call back and ask you what happenedAfter that disheartening customer service experience, I was able to reach you and you said you would review my paperwork, run comparisons and call me back in minutes- HOWEVER- even though I waited patiently for you honor your word and call me- YOU NEVER DID- and I called back again and againThroughout this week, I have left no fewer than voicemails at your company- begging for a returned call- HOWEVER- not a single message was returned by anyone at GlobalWhen I finally was able to reach you- you offered no follow up on any of our earlier discussions, no help on understanding the discrepancies, not an ounce of courtesy to address your own poor customer service- HOWEVER- you were quick to state our balance due upon delivery and only when I pursued a delivery date again did you place me on hold and then return to tell me it would be another days (from TUESDAY- the date of our call) for our delivery estimateWhen I asked to speak with our original point of contact, [redacted], you had me leave a voicemail- HOWEVER- he never returned my message, so I called back, yet againIn speaking with [redacted], he was the only person at Global with whom we have interacted that took any initiative in trying to help us, stating he would review our situation with his manager- that he was not sure why they did not use the moving blankets, and not sure why the repricing was so high- that he would review the paperwork with you and try to pursue some courtesy on our final charges, since we have had such a negative experience, and he was also the only person to apologize for our horrific experience so far- HOWEVER- even though he discussed it with you and actually followed through on calling me back- he said he made no headway in getting any consideration for us from you and asked if I wanted to speak with youI said I would and he said he would connect me- HOWEVER- I was then disconnected 2x by him and then once by you- yet another distressing sign of your company's level of professionalism and customer serviceI then had to call you back- again- and was hopeful that you would at least give me the courtesy of listening to my experience- HOWEVER- you only wanted assurances that I was prepared to pay the balance due on delivery and requested I email you- rather than actually listening to meSo, here I am- emailing you, per your requestI must say, I have never felt less of a priority as a customer, by any company, with whom I have ever dealtAdditionally, I am embarrassed that I previously told my in-laws- other households poised to relocate from NY to Florida, that your company seemed courteous, fairly priced and responsive- all of which was based on my experience prior to pick-up, with [redacted], our salespersonWe have discussed with our real estate broker and leasing agent here in Florida, as well as, my husband's future employer here about their relocation company experiences, as compared to ours, and they too are shocked with our experience with Global.I implore you to use this opportunity to consider our experience and reconsider offering us some level of courtesy on our balance due- this is your chance to redeem your company's reputation and do the right thing.Desired Settlement: Fatboy beanbag chair- $tar, grease, footprints, unremovablecrystal wine glasses- Black homegoods table- $lifefitness bike- missing wheel assembly $49.Plastic bin- $25plastic file holder- $15Pine california king bed frame - Review: This company promised our goods will be delivered on the same day as pick up. Then they said it would be delivered the next day. Since then, they promise it is on its way everyday and never deliver. The people on the phone lie about delivery and demand extra money to deliver. We are waiting for our stuff now for days with no sense of when they will bring the goods over. When we reminded them of our delivery, they told us they can take up to a month. This information was never made clear to us when we hired them.Desired Settlement: At present we just need our household goods delivered and we need to be told an actual date of delivery that is real.

Review: This carrier breached the contract of carriage in just about every way possible. Once my items were already loaded onto their truck at the point of origin, they changed the freight price from what was quoted to me in writing. The service was completely not as described - from the way the items were packaged and then left unsecured on the "[redacted]" truck to the behavior of the employees.

The company refused to address the many broken items, as well as one item that was never delivered, despite my completion of all their requested insurance paperwork. I have also spent months trying to deal with the company to get some sort of resolution or compensation; they have been completely non-responsive and deny any wrongdoing. Furthermore, when the load was delivered, the men who entered my home to unload the items were not company employees, but instead were random individuals hired that same morning from [redacted]. I felt very vulnerable having this strangers enter my home. I can provide many more details and elaborate on the other issues I encountered with this company, if need be.Desired Settlement: I would like some sort of refund to compensate for the breaches of contract.

Review: On June 20, 2014 I paid a deposit towards an estimate of about 1900.00 to move my personal belongings from new jersey to Denver, co. On July 9, 2014 the movers came to pack my stuff and told me the price was going to be 3600 after loading all my items into the truck. I was told my items would be delivered July 13, 2014. I paid 2500.00 on July 9. It is now July 15, 2014. I have not received my items. I called yesterday and was told they would call me back with a delivery date. 24hours later have left seven messages, sent 3 emails and there is still no answer as to when I will get my things delivered. I paid them however they refuse to answer my calls or emails and have not delivered my items.Desired Settlement: I want delivery of my items by end of the week and do not want to pay anything else more then I have already. I have already paid over 900 more then was quoted to me originally.

Review: We contacted Global Relocation to move our funiture and other stuff from [redacted],CT to [redacted],FL. Then come the pick up day, a different company came to take our stuff. So we end up paying that company. Moving systems is the company name. All our stuff was loaded on the truck it was picked up on Oct 16,2014. Global relocation said it will be delivered to our address in [redacted] after 3-5 days upon pick up. But 9 days after everyday making a follow if when my stuff will be delivered, I received a call from their driver saying thwt they will deliver my stuff on Oct 26,2014. The driver said between 2-4pm. But 4 pm pass I didnt see any truck so I call the driver he was rude and arrogant. He said there still in winter park which is like 45 mins from my address. He said they will deliver the next day, but after arguing with the driver I convinced him to deliver my stuff thwt nigth. The arrived pass 8pm and the driver told me my truck wont fit and your apartment is in the second floor. To my surprise it was a different company delivering my stuff again. They had a big truck the driver told me it wont fit and he is saying that I had to pay for his mud guard and light because it got broken because of him trying to fit his huge truck in my apartment complex. And the driver informed me that I will be extra charged every step and distance from e ground floor to my apartment which is on the second floor. So I told them to leave my stuff on the ground floor and I will take it from them. I guess the driver wanted some tips so he carried my dresser up the stairs but he accidentally broke it. And thats the only time he stopped charging me for his mud guard and light. And at the end of thr day they where not able to deliver 2 boxes, which contains clothes a subwoofer and a box full of 18 shoes and basketball shoe. The driver told me to call global relocation to file a complain. But I tried calling global relocation everyday but they never responded on my email and calls.Desired Settlement: Get my stuff back or Global relocation give me a refund from my payment to them the amount of $1400 and pay for my stuff that is missing.

Review: Where do I start, I was quoted a price of $2204.00 for moving from New York to [redacted], Fla. After the loading of household goods Global Relocations said that the price was $4000.00. I then called the Company and was told that they had to see the paperwork. After much complaining they lowered te price to $3400.00 and when I complained about that, [redacted], the suporvisor said that was the bottom line and did I want the delivery or not. The delivery was to be on Feb.4th and they were unreachable by phone until the 10th in which they delivered on the 11th. From the time of the loading of goods to the time of delivery, which both times it was subed out to a different company, most of my boxes were damaged and some were opened and retaped. I am missing items such as a $300.00 brand new cookware set that was never opened. I also am missing Jewelry and old money which the boxes that they were in was opened and resealed with different tape. There was damage to some of my furniture to where it is beyond repair, ie, microwave, china cabinet base, scratches on Antique furniture beds. My motorcycle was also damaged on the right side blinker light. Its broken. Also damaged is a file box with important papers and information. It was taped securley. Review: I contracted with Global Relocation to move my furniture from NY to NC. When my furniture was picked up the driver tried to misrepresent the amount of space I had used on the truck. After speaked with the company's supervisor (Fara was her name) she agreed with my square footage count, but told me I was required to pay for an additional 15% due to unused space on the semi trailer which would be transporting my furniture. Why I agreed to this I still do not know. I tried many times to get someone to explain this "policy" to me, but my initial salesperson (Xavier) never got back to me with a sensible explanation, in fact he denied even knowing about this extra charge. Be that as it may, when my furniture was delivered many pieces were damaged. Also, part of the contract stipulated that the furniture was to be re-assembled upon delivery. The movers who delivered the furniture refused to re-assemble the furniture and, in fact, did not even have any tools to do so. They just dropped the furniture and left. upon leaving they left several piles of garbage outside the door to my apartment. Furthermore they delivered one box that wasn't even mine. I tried to contact the company to get some satisfaction, but was never able to get anyone to take responsibility for this and offer to try to fix the problems. I was told to email Fara, but the email address I was given came back as undeliverable. I also emailed Xavier (including pictures), but never heard back from him or anyone else.Desired Settlement: I have since put my furniture back together, thrown out the garbage left behind, and tried to get my life back to some kind of normalcy.
