January 5, 2015Dear [redacted] ***, This letter serves as a formal response to the complaint listed aboveThe customer contacted the Revdex.com because she set up an AdvancePay account so she could talk to her husband who was incarcerated in a correctional facility that GTL is the service provider for [redacted] ***'s husband was released before she used the account, therefore [redacted] is requesting a full refundThe original refund request was made on 11/12/14.We investigated this complaint and contacted [redacted] and advised her that her original refund request could not be processed because the account number that she provided in her request was invalid [redacted] provided us with the correct account number and a full refund was submitted for processing on 12/29/The refund was issued in the form of a credit back to [redacted] ***'s credit card [redacted] is aware to it could take up to to business days for the credit to appear on her credit card statementGTL anticipates that this will close this complaint and should you have any additional questions please feel free to callSincerely Yours, Kathi TAgency Complaints

September 24, 2014Dear [redacted] ***,This letter serves as a formal response to the complaint listed above.The customer contacted the Revdex.com because she states that the calls she receives from an inmate in a correctional facility that GTL is the service provider for are supposed to be minutes in length and the calls disconnect after only minutes [redacted] would like to have her account credited for the minutes she did not receiveWe have e-mailed [redacted] copies of her call records for her review [redacted] 's calls vary from minutes to minutes in lengthThere is no indication that the calls are disconnecting prematurelyAll of the calls [redacted] receives are billed at a flat rate of $plus $tax for a total of $per call regardless of how many minutes the calls areI am attaching a copy of the call records with this response.There is no credit due at this timeGTL anticipates that this will close this complaint and should you have any additional questions please feel free to call.Sincerely Yours, Kathi T Agency Complaints

I have requested Global Tel Link to place a block on my number because I do not know anyone in a prison that is trying to reach meGlobal Tel Link pretended they will block calls coming to me but in reality did nothingI continue to get harassed by their calls asking me to accept call chargesI believe more or less this company is trying to scam meI called again to place a block on my call the second time and I continue to get harassed by calls coming from Global Tel LinkThey claimed they are not not calling me but someone in prison isI don't understand why they can't stop routing calls to my number when I have already declared I will not accept any calls coming from themI have also placed my number on National Do Not Call list and it didn't helpThey would not leave me alone and I feel very harassed

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me I would like to add that the message does not state that there will be a fee charged as I explained to the representative when they contacted meWhen a person from the jail calls you and you choose to set up a prepaid account there is not a mention that a fee will be chargedI understand fees may differ depending on the state you are in but it does not say anything about a fee being chargedHowever I no longer need the services but I would like the fees that were charged to be refunded to meThe company will not do it so it is a waste of time they will keep just insisting that the message tell you there are applicable fees but it does notThank you Revdex.com Regards, [redacted] ***
