GO Financial Reviews (169)

The scenario explained in the response from Go Financial is in no way what happened. I informed Ms [redacted] that a representative of Go financial promised me that that the arrangement we made would keep me from incurring a 30 day late. I asked Ms [redacted] to listen to the phone call.
She said she would listen to the phone call and give me a call back. I have tried to contact Ms [redacted] for the last two(2) days but to my knowledge she has not returned my phone calls.  This is yet another broken promise by Go Financial.  This  lack of communication form Go Financial is a testament of the qualify of Service Go Financial provides.

I urge the Revdex.com of Arizona to no allow this issue to be resolved without action form Go Financial.

I also reject the 25 Dollar Give card promised by Go Financial. My conformity is not for sale.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We appreciate the opportunity to address our customer’s concerns. On March 14, 2013, our customer signed a Simple Interest Retail Installment Contract for the purchase of a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer. The Contract was then subsequently assigned to Go Credit by the dealership. Included you will find the Simple Interest Retail Installment Contract for your reference.Go Credit stringently follows the FDCPA guidelines. Our customer claims Go Credit was in violation of third party disclosure.  Research concluded that a third party contacted us on May 1, 2014 to advise of our customer’s current situation and asked if we could lower the redemption amount. The third party acknowledged that we cannot release account information and stated she would call back with our customer. Our customer alludes to the idea that we have improperly reported her loan status to the credit bureaus by showing her rating as I9. Go Credit timely and accurately reported to the credit bureaus that our customer’s loan was in charge off status because she was severely delinquent. Go Credit continues to properly report our customer’s loan in charge off status while she continues to make payments. Next, our customer asserts that Go Credit is receiving payments on the contract in the form of a federal income tax credit. This assertion is incorrect. Go Credit has not received and will not receive a tax credit from the IRS by including the charge off of this customer’s account in its calculation of taxable income. Customer is obligated to pay the debt to Go Credit even though her loan is a charge off. Go Credit is not being paid twice for this contract as Customer claims. At this time, we are unable to accommodate our customer’s request to settle the account as she is obligated for the remaining balance. However, we will accommodate our customer’s request to contact her only via email or mail.  Although loan-servicing activity via telephone has ceased for the duration of the contract our customer is still responsible for the remaining payments. We encourage our customer to review her contract for additional consequences related to non-payment, up to and including repossession of the vehicle. Go Credit thanks the Revdex.com for its ongoing support. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact us by calling [redacted]. Sincerely, Go Credit Customer Relations

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
My contract started on March 18, 2014, not 2015. This issue has caused serious with my credit. Even though I received a gift card and a letter regarding my payments,
this still has been a issue with my credit score. It only has moved up 45 points since they have now reported it  and I have had this loan for 18 months. I am trying to rebuild my credit and
not sure how this can be resolved. ]

Dear Ms. Glass:  Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We appreciate the opportunity to address our customer’s concerns. On June 25, 2014, our customer signed a Simple Interest Retail Installment Contract for the purchase of a 2012 BMW 5 Series.  This contract is serviced by [redacted] affiliate GFC Lending, LLC doing business as Go Financial.  On December 12, 2014, [redacted] and our customer entered into a settlement agreement including the refund of charges, the return of the vehicle and releasing all claims against us.If the customer has additional complaints occurring after December 12, 2014, please contact us so we may address those as well.[redacted] thanks the Revdex.com for its ongoing support. June 8, 2016[redacted]

[redacted]To Whom It May Concern,Denise C[redacted] and I was able to address some of my concerns. After researching, one thing that was never discussed was the failure to help a customer when in FMLA/medical need. I also advised Denise I would like to take care of the balance the best way I can. The amount quoted $2500.00 from Denise C[redacted] is/was unattainable. I am just trying to recover and pay all my creditors. Go Financial was not really trying to help.  Carvana trust that Go Financial has stuck to their promises to offer great customer service. I was failed by both Go Financial and Carvana. This has been a stressful situation and has lead to some of my health problems that put me in this situation.I am asking Go Financial to have some compassion for my situation. My family and I could afford $1500.00. I am asking if this account could be deleted from my credit report since the creditor is not required to provide a reason to the credit bureaus as to why they deleted information previously reported. The creditor has the power to request a deletion PERIOD.I am hoping and praying that Go Financial and I could work on an amicable resolution without involving Carvana  and putting this behind all parties involved.Sincerely yours,[redacted]

Review: I have been trying to purchase a vehicle from [redacted]. I did NOT request ANY health plans. I have NOT received any title or licensing for the vehicle and I am no longer interested in pursuing this contract. Acct [redacted]. I do not have collateral since I can not title the car. I am unsure if my down payment reported was accurate (and if it is, then what?). I am unsure if I am financed as [redacted] or [redacted] (my legal name)...though my contract says [redacted]. I can NOT locate anywhere online that I may review my account to compare to my paperwork, which may or may not be missing information. I have attempted to call previously (only reaching someone today). Today, being 8/25/2015 being only 5 weeks into a contract, have a car sitting in my driveway that will not run (transmission) (and only drove home with the car -30 minute drive)and I can not license it or have it pass [redacted] Inspection so that it may become drivable, if ever I receive the title. I was told that I was OBLIGATED to purchase gap and a service plan, that I couldn't get anyone to cancel over the phone how does a businessFORCE me to continue in contract without any collateral to secure the loan? Or is it your intention to force me to be bound in a purchase of Nothing for $14,260 and falsely call the car "abandoned" upon me returning it, or damaging my recovering credit by labeling it repossession? I also notice that the mileage is inaccurate on the contract (89051 miles on it but 86539 reported, and the trip home was only about 35 miles. I can only assume that I am being scammed and I am requesting copy of any recorded calls between your customer service and myself, a copy of my contract mailed directly to me by your company, and to know (a receive copy) of any contract between [redacted] in [redacted] and [redacted] (or GFC LENDING LLC )that would directly or indirectly effect my financing contract, should I default, or that would have either of the binding parties profiting under the same default.Desired Settlement: I would greatly appreciate, not being forced to make a purchase of a vehicle, of which I did not take delivery - as there was no available title or state inspection. I merely drove the vehicle home to see that I liked it (I do not) and have been unable to return it because it will not drive. However, I am told that if I do return it, my credit will be damaged because the car would be deemed abandoned. I did sign papers, having assumed without title or collateral, I could not take ownership or even receive financing. I would like to be released of this 5 week old contract, without damage to my credit. I would assume a depreciation rate of no greater than 10% (the car can not drive without license or transmission that works) of the car value at the time of purchase, a refund of my Gap policy, a refund of my Service Plan. Instead of refunding my down payment, apply it to the difference and return to me the remaining balance (and proof of payment applied).

Hello,Attached is our response for [redacted] with a copy of the contract and VSC.thank you,[redacted]

Review: I was offered an extension in August, but I found out later that a CSR can only start an extension. The extension must be approved by a manager. My extension was amended by a Manager after we terminated the call, and I was promised the extension.

The rep Canceled a payment I had scheduled for the month because I was promised an extension. I later found out that I needed to make a payment to be granted the extension. I did not talk to Go Credit again until after the payment arrangement had expired.Desired Settlement: I would like my 30 day late to be removed for August 2015. I was granted the extension eventually so the 30 day late should be nullified.

Good Morning, Attached is the response for [redacted]. Thank youDecember 2, 2015 [redacted] Revdex.com[redacted]Fax ###-###-#### RE: Complaint No. [redacted] Dear Ms. [redacted]: Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We appreciate the opportunity to address our customer’s concerns. On February 1, 2014, our customer entered into a Retail Installment Sales Contract with NuWay Auto Sales for the purchase of a 2008 Ford Mustang. GO Financial accepted assignment of the customer’s contract from the dealer and we are currently financing the vehicle purchase. Our customer entered into a simple interest contract. With simple interest loans, interest is charged each day based on the balance owed on the loan amount. Additionally, interest is accrued daily on the past due principal amount. When payments are made a portion of the payment applies toward any past due amounts owing. While our customer has been in communication with us and making payments, his payments have often been paid late. In this case, our customer has accrued additional interest due to making late payments. Our customer fell delinquent on the June 1st payment, and made a payment in the amount of $418.00 on July 2, 2015. Our customer’s July payment had become due and remained unpaid until August 5, 2015, at which point our customer paid a partial payment in the amount of $255.05. As of August 5, 2015 our customer’s account had fallen 35 days past due. A late payment remark was reported to the customer’s payment history as a result of the 35-day delinquency. On August 20, 2015, GO Financial agreed to process payment deferments upon the contention that our customer completed the July payment, of which $210.83 was still owing. Our customer did not comply with the arrangements that were set and the deferment was systematically cancelled. Our customer did not pay the August payment, therefore a second negative remark was reported to the credit history. On September 28, 2015, we offered our customer a three payment deferment for August, September, and October. As mentioned, the approval was based on completing the partial payment for July. We received the payment on September 28th and the deferment was approved and our customer’s account was brought current. We report to the consumer reporting agencies at the end of each month to reflect the account status. The updates will show that August, September and October’s payment are current. Please allow 30-60 days for this update to appear on your credit report. We understand the importance of building and maintaining a good credit score. We also understand the importance of accurately reporting credit activity. We report both positive and negative information to the consumer reporting agencies. We apologize for any confusion this may have cause our customer. As a goodwill gesture, GO Financial is sending our customer a $25.00 American Express Gift Card. All I want to do is pay off my loan. Is it so hard for someone to take my payment? I call up today to try to payoff my loan with money I have put alot of sweat and close to a heart attack to earn. The lady on the phone tells me that there is going to be a four dollar charge for every monthly payment that is due. She told me to go online and pay there. I went to the gofinancial site and submitted the payoff amount due from my bank account. No results yet. Nothing taken from my account. If the payment does go throug, how am I suppose to know that my truck is paid off as there was no option for paying off loan. My major complaint is lack of communication from the company and the Go financial website as well as the inability to pay off my loan without a hassle. I want this addressed. If this payment goes through and they still want to charge me more money for my loan, im taking legal action.

I've had my car for 2 years and the amount hasn't gone down and they don't report to the credit bureau.

I just started with Go Financial summer of 2015 , I have been in good standing up until January 19,2016 were I have just given birth and had to take maternity leave early an unscheduled. When I called to setup arrangement for January I have gotten several unapologetic an unhelpful CSR to my situation and a million early morning hassling calls as I am bed ridden from caesarean.

Review: When I got this vehicle, it had issues from the begining. 1) I was sold a lemon (cracked head gasket & sensors gone) and they were wanting me to pay for repairs. I talked to the finance company of this issue on several occasions. I advised what is going on and that 2.) I could not register the car because of the missing title. I requested to even have the contract transferred over to another vehicle, because at this point I don’t know what else could be wrong with it. I did not feel comfortable with it from the first issue The finance company told me that they were not aware of all of these problems (as I speak to different account managers depending on the temp) and that they do not show a copy of the title in the system, so that is defintely an issue. I was advised that they would be getting in contact with the liaison between them and dealer about this and will call me back. I received a call back and was advised that they are working on the issue and that for me to hold off on making my car note because if he can get them to transfer over, I wouldn’t be able to do it if it was paid on that vehicle. I never received the call nor did I ever receive the title to register the vehicle.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is to have this loan taken off of my credit and for the contract to be null and void.

Dear Ms. [redacted]:Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We appreciate the opportunity to address these concerns. Our customer’s vehicle was in the repair shop from September 16th thru October 10, 2015 for engine replacement. Our customer was provided with a loaner car from [redacted]s. She was not responsible for any out of pocket expenses for the car repairs or loaner car.On October 17, 2014, our customer informed [redacted] she was not given the title to register her vehicle. As of today, our customer has not made any payments as agreed at the time of purchase. [redacted] made several attempts to negotiate payment arrangements, but was unsuccessful. Our customer was unable to fulfill her commitment. On December 8, 2014, [redacted] exercised its contractual right to secure the vehicle and assigned the vehicle to be recovered due to payment default. At this time, we are unable to accommodate our customer’s request to delete her trade line. She is obligated for the remaining balance.[redacted] thanks the Revdex.com for its ongoing support. Review: Purchased a car last year and Go Credit financed the car. I was on time with all payments until August of last year when I moved to Kentucky from West Virginia. I got severely behind in my payments and the car was repossessed in early May of this year. During the process of getting the car returned to me, a friend, [redacted] called Go Credit to find out the terms of my re-payment plan. Ms. [redacted] is not an attorney nor is she representing me in any capacity. A representative of Go Credit discussed with her the terms of my repayment down to the dollar amount that I would have to pay to get the car returned. This would be third-party disclosurement. At no time did Go Credit have my oral or written permission to discuss my account with Ms. [redacted]. I got the car returned and have since gotten behind again. Upon assessing my options, I went to find out if I could just return the car and get another car that I could afford a little easier since the cost of living in Kentucky is substantially higher than West Virginia. Upon speaking with [redacted] car dealership, it was brought to my attention that Go Credit had already reported to the credit bureau that my rating was I9, which is charge off-bad debt. This is on my credit report and will be there for the full seven years, even though I have made payments since. Also, Go Credit will report to the IRS my account as a charge off which will result in a tax credit from the IRS, all the while still receiving money from me. To date, I have received at minimum 4-5 phone calls between my office phone and cell phone per day in previous weeks. I have also requested that Go Credit correspond with me in writing, and to date they have refused. I am ready to make a payment on Friday, October 3rd for the past due amount but want to be assured that my car will not be repossessed as the representative has stated to me. Go Credit representative stated to me that it would not matter if I paid the car off, they have reported to the credit bureau that my account is a charge off so the damage is done, her words, not mine. If this account is a charge off how can they be paid twice for the same car in the same year. IRS - charge off and still collecting from me?Desired Settlement: Since Go Credit has charged it off and the IRS reimbursable credit will be at the lowest $5,600, and the payoff is $6,100, my final payment to them will be $500 ($320 of which can be paid on Friday, October 3) and the balance payable within 30 days at which time the title will be forwarded to me. All collections and repossession will cease and desist immediately. Also in light of the third party disclosure, I would be willing to sign a settlement agreement and not pursue legal action which would entail incurring attorneys fees. I feel that this settlement is fair because my credit has already been destroyed by the way that Go Credit Reported.

To date I have not received any communications from Go Credit via email or in writing with regard to resolving this case. However, I am still receiving phone call from this business - up to 5-10 in a 24 hour period and one email which I have attached stating that they would not communicate with me via email and apparently in writing. I am therefore requesting that the debt be completely forgiven.

Review: I Have on numerous times contact the office due to going out of work on FMLA Leave. Go Financial stated that they were unable to offer any payment arrangement due to purchasing the car thru Carvana. I explain I was out on Medical leave waiting on disability. My car was repo. I call and made $1500 dollar payment in August asking for assistant to recover and again was told that they cannot offer no assistance. I then called and was told the car was sold. I asked for an update to my report since they stated the car was sold and how can they help me with the 9thousand balance. It took the manger 2 months to call back and advise he cannot help me at all. I then did my research and asked the manager if he can update my credit report to unrated since it was bought. He also stated that they cannot help me at all or offer any assistance. I advise him that I will be reporting the company to Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: All I am asking is for better customer service when situations leave people in difficult times. I would like my report updated to unrated since Go Finacial failed me as a customer to stand by what they stand for. Its one thing to be out on FMLA and not able to get no assistance at all. The balance is 9,666. After all I been thru with this company not sure how they can help me. This has been a long process. I am aware of the transactions on my account

but not sure why no help was offered or given to a customer that was unexpectedly out on FMLA.

This is an absolutely horrible company. No one ever returned my calls for months and when they finally did 2 months later I started making payments. The last 3 weeks I have had 7 different people calling me non stop telling me I owed several different amounts. On Monday I mailed a check for the remainder of my loan to pay it off. They have had a different person calling me every day since telling me that they are charging off the account and will not accept my check unless I go to [redacted] and wire them MORE money. I've explained that I have sent a check days ago that should be arriving anytime like I always have. They insist that I've used a different bank and different methods when I never have. Yesterday I was told as long as the check was there by the end of this month it would be okay. Now all of a sudden this morning it's not. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a loan comoany.

Review: As I [redacted] went in to purchase a vehicle. I was not approved for a loan from [redacted]. After that a month later I went online to find another dealership that worked with the same loan company [redacted]. I was specifically told over the phone that my income was to low for them to approve me for a loan. After that I hadn't received any notice that I was approved but I received a statement of when the payment was due therefore [redacted] has committed fraud.Desired Settlement: Settlement offer for the loan their holding against me

Review: This company is a JOKE!!! On October 11, 2014 we received a call from the Go Credit Collections Dept. informing us that our October 2014 payment had not been made. We informed the representative that not only had the payment been made (check was written on 10/7/14 and was overnighted to their office to ensure it was received on the date due (10/10/14) but we also had a cancelled check showing that the payment was electronically deposited into their [redacted] on October 10, 2014 (the day before this call AND the date that the payment was actually due). Let me also add that the check was for more than the payment amount (each month we always pay more asking that the additional amount be applied to the principle). After almost 25 minutes on the phone we were told that to avoid this in the future we should look into their other payment options ([redacted] pay by phone, etc...) instead of mailing our check in. All of these options cost additional money and I would prefer to have my cancelled check. How is this an answer and OUR FAULT??? She stated that the payment must have been misapplied and she would work on getting this corrected and call me back in a few days. I never received a phone call back, and a week later I called them. This time I was informed that they had found the check but that it had been credited to my account on 10/14/14, and that the payment was considered 4 days late. HUH???? They received it on the 10th and cashed it on the 10th. It was due on the 10th. How was it late???? I was once again told that to avoid this in the future I should consider using one of their other payment options, all of which cost money. Even if they didn't, why can't I make the payment how I want to, as long as I am making the payment on time? It took 2 more weeks and conversations with a supervisor (named [redacted]) as well as faxed copies and emailed copies of the cancelled check in order to get my payment back dated and applied on October 10, 2014, the day it should have been applied. Time that I should have NEVER had to take, because as a consumer I had done nothing wrong. I had made my payment, plus additional money and had made it one time!!! Now, it is November 11, 2014 and we just received yet ANOTHER PHONE CALL informing us that the November payment has not been received now. ONCE AGAIN the check was already cashed and electronically deposited into their [redacted] Account YESTERDAY, the day the payment was due!!!! We are told that the payment is now AGAIN considered late. HUH???? The representative that I spoke with was less than courteous and reminded me AGAIN that they have other payment options. So, the November 2014 payment is now considered late even though I have a cancelled check showing that they have already received their payment for the month, plus an additional $89 toward principle. Someone should investigate their business practices!! This is a loan that is based on interest and by doing what they are doing they are increasing the interest that they receive. It is illegal!!Desired Settlement: I would like:

- an explanation as to why each month we make the payment on time, they receive it on time, they cash it on time, but it is applied to my account LATE

-WRITTEN confirmation that BOTH the October payment and now the November payment were actually applied to my account as ON TIME payments and applied on the 10th, not the 14th, like my written confirmation shows for October.

- I would also like WRITTEN confirmation of where the additional money on each payment is being applied. This written confirmation should show that the additional amount, over and above the payment amount is being applied to principle as we have requested EACH MONTH IN WRITING.

- I would like the harassing phone calls to STOP. They would be better off chasing people that are actually late on their payment. I am sure there are plenty of them.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Other than a phone call stating that they were made aware a complaint that we filed with the Revdex.com we have received nothing showing this issue was resolved. We requested an account statement IN WRITING, both through this complaint as well as on the phone showing the payments applied as well as the additional principle, and have never received anything. Since this was not a one time issue, but instead a repeat issue we would like to ensure this is handled correctly. They seem to not understand this. The last thing we want is more phone calls with repeated apologies, only to have it happen again. We are again requesting an account statement showing the resolution and the up to date account information. We were not asking for an apology we would like to see the account information in writing.

We appreciate the opportunity to address our customer’s concerns. On July 1, 2014, our customer entered into a retail installment contract when he purchased a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix. Included you will find the retail installment contract for your reference. If a payment is made on or before the due date, the payment will be applied towards interest first and the remainder will be applied to the principal balance. Our customer’s concerns helped us identify a system issue that caused the misapplication of account payments. On November 19, 2014 we reviewed our findings with our customer and we agreed to an amicable resolution. We back dated all payments for our customer’s account to be applied on the date the payments were received. Attached is a copy of our customer’s payment history. As a goodwill gesture, GO financial has mailed our customer a $25 [redacted] gift card. Go Financial thanks the Revdex.com for their ongoing support. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact us by calling us at ###-###-####.Sincerely Go Financial Customer Service

Review: Approximately October of last year, I purchased a car through [redacted] with a car loan from Go Financial. While working out the details, Go Financial accidentally created two car loans when we only have one car and one loan through them. The extra erroneous car loan is now showing as "charged off" on my credit report and is a delinquency on my report. We have always paid our one car payment on time, and Go Financial has admitted it was their error and that they need to take the erroneous car loan off of my credit report, but I can't get them to do so. In talking to them, they have said that they accidentally created an additional car loan that was reported to the credit bureaus, but that we do not owe that money and the extra loan should not have been created. I have tried everything to get them to remove the extra car loan, but they will not do so. As a result, I now have a delinquency on my credit report and my credit score has dropped over 200 points. If any of this doesn't make sense, or you need further explanation, please call me or my husband. He can be reached at [redacted]. I work during the day so can't talk on the phone, but he can be reached anytime.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology from Go Financial because I have been dealing with this for months. But, most importantly, I would like for them to remove the erroneous car loan from my credit report so I can begin to repair my credit score. I will continue to make the car payment on the one loan that I have, but the erroneous loan needs to be removed and they need to apologize.

Six months passed I contacted Go Financial again to see what was going on. the reps. that I spoke with at that time was [redacted] she informed me that the company was handling the issue as best as they could . I was told that this would not effect my credit reports. Now it is two years later nothing has been done this car is showing up on all three credit bureau as a charge off on my credit report and is keeping me from getting anything in my name. Every time I contact Go Financial I am getting the run around . They keep telling me that they have wiped it away but I am still seeing this on my credit report. Attorny [redacted] has written a letter certified charging storage fees on this vehicle since one year ago and I have still not heard anything yet. I have all my supporting documents.Desired Settlement: I would like this off my credit report with all credit bureau and some type of paper work from Go Financial stating I do not have anything with them and any liens on anything this has gone on to long two and a half years . Enough is enough.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We appreciate the opportunity to address our customer’s concerns. On March 5, 2013 our customer entered into a Retail Installment Sales Contract with 1 Stop Autoz LLC for the purchase of a 2006 Lexus. GO Financial accepted assignment of the customer’s contract from the dealer that we were financing the vehicle purchase. On March 27, 2014 our records show GO Financial deleted the trade line from all (3) major credit bureaus. We received an AUD Control Number: [redacted] verifying all information was submitted to the three major credit agencies. We verified with all three major bureaus on August 5, 2015 and August 20, 2015 that the trade lines were deleted. At GO Financial, we strive to ensure all of our credit reporting is up-to-date and accurate. We have made several attempts to contact our customer, in regard to having her send us a copy of the documentation she has showing GO Financial is reporting to the (3) major credit agencies. Once we have this information, we would be more than happy to assist our customer with her concerns. As of today, the trade lines have been deleted from all (3) major credit agencies.
