Don't use this brokerThey misquoted me and assigned me a company out of Las Vegas ( [redacted] ) for my moveThe movers arrived 1/hours late and charged me $more than what was quotedMain reason being is because Gold Standard Relocation guaranteed and repeated reassured me that the movers would be moving based upon weight not cubic feetThe movers were unprofessional from the beginning complaining and making smart remarksUpon the delivery of the items I was given one days notice when the movers and brokers knew that I travel for a livingOne of the movers stole my check book on delivery and I had to file a police reportI tried calling Gold Standard on Nov left a message and still no responseI called the moving company ( [redacted] ) he stated that he had no information on the man and that they hired him from craigs listBad experience overall I probably would not have even bothered coming to Revdex.com if it wasn't for the fact that one of the movers stole my check book and tried to cash a counterfeit check with a fake signature

I had a contract to relocate on October or I was contacted Monday 10/and told movers were arriving 10/and I was not in town
On 9/24/I signed a contracted via email to use GSR for my move from SC to PA on 10/or 10/I paid a $deposit on my Chase Visa and was told by rep the balance could also be chargedOn 10/I received a call from the actual guys who were to move me that they would arrive on 10/11/I was not going to be in SC until 10/and I told him thatHe told me the date could not be changed and to call my repand he needed the balance due in cash before he would load his truckI told him I didn't have the $2,in cashJohn Rango has told me my Visa would be charged for the balance after the goods were received in PaI tried to call John Rango and I left a message and told him I wasn't in town until 10/I then called every phone number I was given on an email received from the company and there was no one who ever picked upI

They saved the dayOriginally we had booked with another company who lied to us It was vital that this move was direct from CA to TX because we were moving my elderly parents We needed help and Crystal delivered on all that was promised! She was amazing even answering her phone after hours that forwarded to her cell phone Sam and Kaylie kept in contact to confirm time drivers would show up and they did The movers were professional and gentle with all our belongings I would highly recommend Gold Standard Relocation as they are the Gold Standard So happy my parents were moved in before ChristmasThis move was so stressful until we had Crystal, Sam and Kaylie on it They did above and beyond what I expected and saved our move I would recommend them to anyone who is moving long distance and needs someone they can trust

We moved in November it was a long and exhausting move but they helped in every way possible to make sure it went smooth and easy!! They prepared us on what to expect, the pricing was great, as well as the customer service! Thank you Gold Standard Relocation!!

So we hired this company for our moving from New York to Orlando...we got our staff delivered today and then we were missing our mattresses and some other stuff and when we told the drivers they ignored us and they didn't give us the company's number but instead they gave us Verizon's number and they were playing games with our pattience..After that they just brought our things upstairs but never fix the parts of furniture and they left..and something else our dressers they were broken

I received a quote for $to move furniture from RI to WashingtonI spoke to Ryan for some time and understand why they use other moving companies nowI explained we only have $worth of furniture to move and paying $wasn't worth itHe agreed and we said our good byesTHe next day Ryan calls me and said he believes he can do it for $He has to pursude his boss and puts me on holdA few moments later he comes on the phone and said we can do itI gave a deposit (Never give large deposits) of $He said to me,

Over the next few days Gold standard called me on seperate occassions to go over inventory listI was very specific on what I had, which wasn't too many itemsAt this point I was extremely please with the customer service and how organized they were
Day of pick up: GM movers comes in and says immediately, we need an extra cubic feet and the mirror needs to be boxed and cratedThis brings up the price to $ Gold Standard KNEW exactly what I had, they known the mirror was Medium size and they knew my bed was a plateform with draws, I told this all times they called!
I wasn't going to let them take the furniture but said I will lose my depositI should have asked them to leave and that was my second mistakeI called Gold Standard immediately and of course Ryan ignores my calls I still call him frequently, but another woman does return my calls I explained to her the conversation that I had with Ryan but she stickes with, that was an EstimateAs far as I am concerned and a paragraph in the contract; Gold standard was my broker and they suppose to find a moving company that will do it for the price quoted
Bottom Line: They can quote you any price, it comes down to the moving carrier that picks up your furnitureDo not use this company, they are not truthfullyMy next review is with there carrier, G AND M Movers don't use them eitherAlso the Distric Attorney of Consumer Affairs will be receiving a complaintShame on Gold Standard for treating people like this
