Out of the first 4 companies, Golden Group called the same day, one more company called 2 days later. [redacted] quoted twice the price I got from Golden Group and [redacted] quoted 65% higher than Golden Group and that too with an inferior product.

I signed up with Golden Group for an architectural 130miles per hour, 50 year roof. Freddy was knowledgeable, educated me on the materials and I checked online to confirm. The price was fair, the materials were good and delivered one day ahead. The team was professional, fast, and punctual. They protected the flower beds, cleaned up very well and completed the work the same day. The dumpster was removed the same day as well. It was a great experience. I strongly recommend this company and wish them luck.

The Golden Group Construction Corp did a terrific job clearing two large ice dams and all the snow from my roof. They were responsive - there was always a person I could talk to and the crew was polite, efficient and very professional. We found Golden Group Construction via the "Home Advisor" website. Freddy and his Team live up to the ratings and reviews posted. The Roofing quote came in very reasonable and included more, high end features and products than other Companies were charging extra $$$ for. Golden Group is very detailed oriented, patient with the Homeowners and were easy to get in contact with when we had questions. Despite their care and safety with equipment, A few of our plants and flowers were accidentally damaged around the perimeter from the work crew, and of course, a handful of nails were found after the job. BUT with the labor-intensive job of stripping and re-roofing a house this is understandable. Freddy made-good and came back to sweep the lawn of excess nails and debris. AND deducted a portion of the bill to cover costs of replacing the plants/flowers. I would recommend Golden Group to close friends and Family.

Price was right and we went ahead. Freddy was very punctual keeping the appointments and took time to explain the project in detail.
Tearing down and installing roof went fine. Freddy kindly replaced roof on a storage shed in the included price!
The only remark was about the cleanup after the task. I found plenty of nails on my driveway day after the roof was installed. Later found that a nail got into my car tire and it had to be repaired. Thankfully it is just a $60 repair instead of replacement.
Freddy came and rerun the magnetic roller to take care of picking remaining nails. Few weeks later there was a loose shingle fell off the roof and found more nails in the gutter. Though they took care of it immediately (which is very good and comforting to have such prompt service), it would have been nice to do a thorough cleanup in the first time.

Excellent, from the 1st meeting we knew we were in good hands with Freddy from G.G.C. everthing was explained in detail in a prompt and professional manner and my wife and I are very Happy with our new roof just as Freddy promised. We signed the contract on a Thursday and the job was completed in one day, on the following Wednesday. It's one of the the most professional roofing crews I have ever meet, no nonsense and always polite, can't say enough goods things about how we feel. We would highly recomend G.G.C.C. to our friends. I knew I needed a new roof and contacted Golden Group to ask about their Angie's List promotion. Freddy came to my house to answer all my questions and give me insight into all my options. It was a quick visit, and he did not try to upsell me at all, but was very patient and knowledgeable, and fully answered all my questions. Greta was great about keeping us in the loop with anticipated timing of the roof install. On the day of install, the team arrived around 7am, got right to work, and finished the job in one day. One shingle did fall over the side of the house (where there was no netting to protect the house), and it knocked off a flood light that I have. Freddy pointed it out to me to make sure I saw it before I went to work on the day of install, and he had it replaced before I got home from work. I really appreciated him pointing it out to me so I was aware of it, even though you would never be able to tell that it had happened at the end of the day. These are the kind of honest people that I appreciate doing business with - if only everyone in the industry was as trustworthy!

The proposal was made after an on-roof inspection. Freddie is on-site during the job and the detailed plans made during the proposal are fully carried out The re-roof at my house was on time, on budget and exactly as described. How did we decide which contractor to engage for the project?
We selected Golden Group Construction - Freddy [redacted] Operations Manager
Not only was Mr. [redacted]'s presentation flawless, he provided insurance, certifications obtained by the workers for the products to be installed as well as the standard physical samples. When we were not certain about which products to select he was thorough in his explanations on the differences, warranty options, life of product and return on the investment. Mr. [redacted] did not try to up sell the available products nor did he try to low-bid the work. There was nothing hidden, there were no surprise extra costs. The punch list in the contract was exhaustive. He had his supplier drop off a sample when we were trying to decide on the color. We were allowed to visit three different sites where Golden Group Construction had installed roofs using product styles and colors that were under consideration for our home. We decided to use the CertainTeed TL Max Def Weathered Wood.
Throughout the entire project the most noticeable aspect of the process was that meeting our needs, expectations and assuring us that we would be completely satisfied with the results was foremost in the minds of the entire staff. I have walked this earth for over sixty years and can definitively state that experiencing this level of workmanship, care and concern in a contracting situation is exceptional and worthy of merit and mention. The crew member named Fabian was a standout in applying his skill to addressing issues with the siding where the shed-like roofs met the second floor siding walls.
Our satisfaction without hesitation or caveat is 100%. We could not be happier with the result and the experience.

Freddy, Greta, and all other crew members did a very professional work on replacing my roof. The job took more than 2 days, and Freddy was on site most of time to supervise the process. Greta was excellent on handling all the paperwork. Both Freddy and Greta are excellent on communicating with me. They will answer phone call or reply to my email promptly. I called Freddy on a Sunday early morning, and he picked up the phone to answer my question. When there was a delay on removing the dumpster, I called Freddy and he took care of it immediately.
I recommended Golden Group to my colleague. She also chose Golden Group to replace her roof which was damaged from snow and ice removal during last year severe winter. Overall, I am very pleased with Golden Group and highly recommend them for roof replacement.

When I was looking for a company to install a new roof on our home, I was most interested in hiring someone who was knowledgeable, could provide quality workmanship, and complete the job for a reasonable price.
After interviewing several companies in the area, I learned much about roofing. I also learned what was wrong with the previous installation from six years prior that resulted in considerable damage from last year's snow and ice.
Though all of the companies who assessed our roof provided similar plans, we felt that Freddy [redacted] of the Golden Group was the most knowledgeable. He took the time to provide us with very specific information explaining the rationale for all that needed to be done, especially in the areas of ventilation and installing a rubber membrane on our sunporch. His price was also very reasonable.
From the initial proposal to final installation, it was a pleasure working with this company. Freddy's wife. Greta, Executive Sales Director,was always available to field questions and to provide prompt email responses to our many questions. When the roof was being installed, Freddy and Greta were both onsite to supervise operations. The crew was extremely efficient, industrious, and respectful - no loud music or smoking on the property.
It is our understanding that Golden Group is one of four finalists for a Revdex.com award for 2015. It is clear to see why they have been nominated. They would certainly have my vote. I wish all companies were as professional as the Golden Group.
