I asked GP Movers for a pickup date of their choice in order for the goods to be delivered on a specific date. That way, I could plan my travel to be at the new house when the goods arrived. They gave a pickup date, and a 3 day delivery window, then charged an extra $581.

While the extra cost seemed unusual, I didn't object. Actual performance was even more unusual. They missed their delivery window by a full two weeks which meant that I had to live out of a suitcase and sleep on an air mattress for two weeks.

Things happen, so that could be forgiven. However, when the goods finally showed up, they insisted on full payment INCLUDING the $581 delivery guarantee bonus. They insisted on paying them cash before they would even open the truck.

That's simply dishonest.

What I really liked about these movers is how they treated my belongings as if it was their own and it shows a lot of respect. It definitely is worth every cent. I am soo happy I moved with them! Highly recommended!

They were able to fit me in their schedule and also provided me with the best price. The movers were fast, friendly and kind. They treated all of my belongings very carefully and they made this whole moving process as easy as possible. They are excellent honestly.

This moving company is absolutely amazing! They had provided me with the best service a moving company can offer. They made me feel very confident throughout the whole move by being responsible, patient and kind. Why settle for less if you can hire these guys? Definitely hiring them again!!

They sold us lies and we have had nothing but issues. The sales guy was really nice and sold us that they were a high rated professional company. Then came the date of pick up and they can early I the morning with a on the day of pick up no call before that. The movers we gangster looking guys that would tak bad about other customers. And we had some stuff not listed and they charged us a ton more to ship it. With out explaining how the got the sum. And told us if we don't pay they can just leave our stuff or pay. So after being strong armed they too our stuff. Once it was gone we waited 5 days and started wondering where our stuff was. Cause no one called us to tell us. Well come to find out it was sitting in a warehouse the last 5 days. After being assured that we would get our stuff this weekend. I got a call to day saying it won't be till sometime the end of next week. They were rude crude and lied a lot. Would never tell friends nor family nor coworkers to us them! I will be yelping and going on other review site and giving negative reviews too

They provided me with everything that I needed from A-Z. They also put in so much effort into the whole work and didn’t complain about how heavy my furniture was. They didn’t make me feel guilty in how heavy my things were. I felt comfortable with them 100 percent. This is the best moving company ever.

[redacted] loaded all of my heavy furniture in to the truck without any hesitations and complaints. They gave me a very fair price and were understanding with everything. They’re honestly so nice and wonderful and I wouldn’t think twice to hire them again for my next moves. Great Job Guys!!!

Review: I had my stuff moved with this company from [redacted] to [redacted]. Once The movers arrived to my house in [redacted] they claimed that they did not have a large table on the list so they charged me an extra 100.00 to pack and ship that Item.

I had told the sales rep before they came I needed my stuff here in [redacted] on or BEFORE June 23rd as I start work then because they packed all of my clothes. [redacted] told me that was no problem and that they would have it there before that date. I paid [redacted] 50% of the move cost upfront and the movers came a few days later to pack up the stuff. The movers in [redacted] packed up the stuff quite nicely until they saw the table and charged me 100.00 extra because [redacted] did not put it on the list. I was concerned that this was a bait and switch game because the cost to have something added was almost double if it was added on the day the movers were there. I called [redacted] and he said this

I do apologize for the lack of proper communication.

I did email your contract to you with your receipt for the $100 deposit.

Did you look over it? In a perfect world all will work out accordingly.

I just accepted the 100.00 charge as all my stuff was already in the truck.

on June 24th I get a call from the truck driver at 9pm stating he will be there in a few min. 30 min goes by this HUGE 18 wheeler comes in and runs over all of my condos landscaping causing alot of noise making my neighbors very irate.

As he pulls up I look and there is a truck following him. In the truck there are 2 adult [redacted] and their 2 kids maybe 13-16 years old. They approach me saying they are here to move my stuff into my house.

I was a bit concerned because the kids were super scrawny and my tables and couches were HEAVY.

I first notice the truck driver does not have a ramp attached to it so they make this balancing act and almost drop both televisions. The televisions were not damaged but when they started to unload the tables/couches they were dropped caused damage.

I went inside to show the kid where to place the table and I notice the kid and his father are carrying in my heavy couch. I tell them to place it in my front room and they did. As I walk out side I hear a HUGE BANG and I walk inside and noticed the kid dropped the couch onto my new floors.

Causing damage to the floors that were just installed 4 hours prior of them arriving.

Once everything was uploaded the father of the kids handed them box cutters and told them to unwrap everything. Well, they were in such a rush that they cut my tables and couch with the box cutters causing over 2k worth of damage.

I was told by the driver that I better tip them and that I had to pay before they would unload my stuff. After contacting [redacted] at Guaranteed Price Movers about the situation she was very unhelpful as their insurance company has not been helpful and has been dragging their feet on replacing/repairing my stuff. I have emailed her several times and all she says is "talk to the insurance company" and the insurance company always tells me its under review... it's been 30 days and I have not heard anything! I cannot use my couches and tables because they are ruined

I am paying my contractor to hold my flooring because I need it replaced but I am being charged a storage fee because the insurance company Sarah provided is dragging their feet. the insurance company is www.csipros.orgDesired Settlement: Would like my most of my moving costs refunded and partial cost of the floor. I think that is a fair settlement the total amount/cost of shipping was 1005.55 + 400.00 for the floor because it has to all be ripped up for that plank to get replaced.

Total cost of the move was 1305.55

I deducted 300 because the TV's had no damage so I think 1005.55 is reasonable

Would like 1405.55 refunded back to me. In that price it includes the cost and repair of the floor.

We apologize for any inconvenience [redacted] may

have experienced as a result of his recent move with us. We certainly would like to address the

concerns regarding the damaged items, but we are not able to send a refund check to [redacted] without the

proper processes completed first. According to our policies and procedures, all claims for damaged

items need to be filed with our third party claim agency [redacted] is reviewing the file according to the materials submitted by [redacted] and will prepare

a refund amount accordingly. We understand [redacted] would like this review process to

progress quicker and we will certainly do our best to assist [redacted] in any way

possible. Per Federal Law, the claim process may take up to 120 days from the date the claim is first filed

by the customer. We will make sure the claim for Mr. Letterman will not take the entire duration of the 120 days

though.In regards to the charges, the final amount did

increase as [redacted] stated by $100 to account for the increased volume and packing of the extra table

that was shipped. Prior to the date of pick up, our sales representative created the list of items to be

moved to the best of his ability given the information relayed to him by [redacted]. After preparing the

quote based on the list of items to be moved and the corresponding charges, the sales representative

sent [redacted] an email with all the details. We ask all our customers to review the details in the

quote to ensure the accuracy of the items to be moved. Since we had not received notification from [redacted] prior to the date of pick up that the list of items was inaccurate, we assumed it was correct until

the day of pick up. It was [redacted]'s decision to ship the table for the charges given.We will do our best to help expedite the claim process

so that [redacted] may receive the refund check as quickly as possible for the damaged items.

I have used this company to move twice and honestly both times the teams were very professional and efficient. The movers managed to always arrive on time.

From the first move, I saw that the movers manage to handle tough moves and waste no time at all. The phone calls were also always easy, they would always call me back directly and would always take the time to make everything clear.

What I liked most about them was that they offered a lot of help. They always provided us with the best communication and were always approachable if we had any questions or concerns.

I have used this moving company for a few of my moves. They qualify you with the best service possible and make you feel completely secure with all of your items. They never disappointed me and always made me feel satisfied with the whole move. I highly recommend this moving company to whoever is moving.

The move went really smoothly and easy. Nothing got delayed, the movers always came on time and were very kind. They were very careful with everything and it made me appreciate them very much. I will always use them for all of my moves
