I...

have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I reject the closure of this case. First off there was never any water damage to the pedestal. The house had no pedestal. I had to go purchase on because the company Faith restoration showed up the first day to give me a quote and never returned. I never heard from them again. Grace plumbing told me to go pick up the pedestal from [redacted]. Therefore, that is what I did. I called Grace plumbing to see why cleared the charges on my account and asked when it was going to be fixed. I was told the job was complete. I had no hooked up water heater, pedestal in the box still and no water. I told Grace plumbing it was not complete. The dispatcher argued with me about it being complete so I told her I was just going to call [redacted] and the other news channels because 3 weeks without hot water was just not getting it. She then said I would be the next house they came to. The worker came and put the pedestal up but did not secure it to the studs in the wall, and did not secure the water heater to the pedestal. Yes I have hot water but I have a very unsecured water heater and pedestal that will tip over if someone bumps into it. The heater is next to the washing machine so it is only a matter of time before it tips over.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

#1 they do not even know what they are talking about they did talk to me every single day that they were at the house, they also never informed the home own on what what going on never gave estimate  on what the job was going to cost they got the sign off of completion of the job from the renter who lives in the house he nephew who does not live in the house, so the sign off was not even done by the home owner him self, as for the the asbetsos work that was done, their was never a contract giving the ok, nothing in writing was giving exect the very first paper for water removal that is all as for the taxes our attorney already looked up the state laws on that and has already found that grace plumbing inflated their tax rates 4 to 5 times higher that state law requires, this is not an issue on not paiding the bill the home own is more that willing to paid the bill but the correct bill not an inflated bill of their choice, when in their own contract it states first line that they will give a written estimate and that was never done not any other paper work nothing was filled out and the work that was done a 2 yrs old could have done better

Regards,

With regard to Complaint ID #: [redacted], Mr. [redacted] is clearly confused, like for like water heater replacements do not require a permit. Furthermore Mr. [redacted] was never charged for a permit being pulled. This...

complaint is eroneous and should be removed immediately.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

they have mistated the facts...I never received a price to fix the toilet ...the man stayed in his truck and never came back into the home as he said he was getting authorization and mistated the problem...I called another plummer to fix the problem and he said it had nothing to do with the pressure from the outside valve....the plummer was a total incompetent and Grace plumbing has 26 complaints on file for their lousy service and misrepresentation...this was the worse plumbing company I ever dealt with as they sent someone out who has no experience as a plumber....but as a maintence man if that....

Regards,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The Contactor ([redacted]) is Wrong on two (2) accounts per the info below on the COS website and my T/C to them. All new and replacement hot water tanks require a COS inspection permit. The Cost ($40.00) of the Inspection Permit is FULLY COVERED by my extended Home warranty with [redacted], but since [redacted] will not request a permit, [redacted] will not reimburse them (or me) as [redacted] will only go by what the contractor request and will not independently check on the own. I paid [redacted] for completing the Total Installation of my Hot Water Heater including their securing the applicable permit(s) which they will be reimbursed for, if they request a COS and reimbursement from [redacted] which is totally covered. The Hot Water Tank that was replaced by [redacted] (the Contractor) was a replacement hot water and it had a COS Inspection Certificate on it when [redacted] removed the old hot water heater which I showed [redacted] the [redacted] Tech and he said that he would advise [redacted] Dispatch that would handle with [redacted]. NOTE: From the City of Scottsdale (COS) Website http://www.[redacted]Q: Do I need a Permit? A: A permit is required for Water Heater replacement. A permit may be obtained by the homeowner or a licensed contractor. The owner of the property is ultimately responsible for insuring that a permit is obtained and the inspection card is on site at a readily visible location (i.e. near the Water Heater). A Permit may be obtained at the One Stop Shop located on the first floor at [redacted] or online at https://[redacted]

WATER HEATER INSPECTION Your new water heater has been inspected and approved. This is what was checked during the inspection. The complaint is fully valid.

Mr. [redacted] was sent to collection in January 2014.  His warranty company had nothing to do with the water mitigation that took place to dry out his water damage.  The re-route of his plumbing was not covered under his warranty coverage and we gave him an estimate to re-route his...

plumbing to solve this issue.  He contracted with us for $1500.00, payment by check #[redacted].

Mr. [redacted] then contracted with us for the mitigation (dry out) of his property.  Signed contract, dry out logs & Certificate of Completion showing he was satisfied with the work.  We contacted his Homeowners Insurance from the beginning with the policy number Mr. [redacted] gave us to open a claim for the mitigation and submitted the bill to [redacted] Insurance.  His insurance approved our bill for $1643.77, then [redacted] Insurance sent Mr. [redacted] the payment in that amount.  He never paid it to us, then started calling requesting we lower our bill because he had got other quotes for the work we did and these other companies told him they could do it for less.  Well he contracted with us and his insurance agreed to our invoice and paid Mr. [redacted] so he could pay us.  Highlighted in these notes you will see [redacted] Insurance cut him a check for $1643.77 on 12/05/14 and he cashed the check on 12/17/2013.  That was our invoice amount that his insurance carrier agreed to pay for his loss and our invoice.  At this point Mr. [redacted] has been sent to collections and that will add 33% to the amount owed, and if this goes to court those fee’s will also be applied to his account.  We made every effort to resolves this with Mr. [redacted] with no success and he was very hard to get a hold of and then when he did not get his way filed a Revdex.com complaint so he could keep the money he was paid by his insurance company for work we provided and completed.  He signed saying we completed the work.  If you need any other information please let me know.  Thank you

This is not a customer of ours. Our customer is the home warranty company. This complainant is a customer of the warranty company. Grace Contracting Services Inc. is under contract with various home warranty companies all of which require we collect service fees up front before making ant diagnosis....

After the service fees are collected we are then to inspect the plumbing issues and report them to the authorization department of the warranty company. The $70 dollars is a non refundable fee that our customer requires we collect. The $70 fee is the insurance deductible.

As I expected from a company that I received the worst customer service from in the last 20 years of working with contractors on home repair issues, this is pretty much 75% lies and coverup.  Surprisingly though they do have one truthful statement

TRUTH

1) I am a customer of the home warranty company - [redacted].....and they are the customer for [redacted]

LIES

1) The Home Warranty company denied his call when we were at his home

[redacted] I did not call the home warranty company when they were at my home

[redacted] After they fixed the garbage disposal, and then I turned on the faucet, there was a leak in the piping which I asked the plumber to fix, which he would not...............

[redacted] so lie #1 is the warranty company denied a call or claim from me at Any Time during this process

2) Lie #2 - He has written a letter stating that we did not fix anything because his call was denied by home warranty company when we were out there

[redacted] The Plumber did fix the disposal, which I put in my original note

[redacted] But once again, I did not call the home warranty company regarding the leak in the piping, I asked the plumber to fix it because it was not leaking when he started his job, and this was not the original reason that I called the warranty company

[redacted] Again as I have stated, the plumber said he would not fix the leak to the piping after fixing the disposal,

even though there was no leak prior to working on the disposal

3) Lie #3 - Continued Threatening - I did not threaten the staff or company, I basically told them that if they did not fix the leak that they had created I would take this complaint up with the Revdex.com, which I have done.

[redacted] As stated in the original complaint, the plumber would not fix the leak and he left.  The next day I called Grace Plumbing and spoke with a person in service, and she said "that was not right of the plumber to not fix the leak.  I will setup service for after 5pm tonite to get this taken care of"...........which never happened as no one from this company showed up or called that evening

4) Lie #4 - When we left he told our tech that everything was fine and he was happy

[redacted] I told the plumber that the disposal is working, but there is a leak in the piping that was not a problem before you started working on the disposal, and I asked him to please fix this as otherwise it will cause floor damage

[redacted] he said he would not fix it..............then he said he would check with his office and made a phone call,

after which he came back and said he would not fix the leak because it was not the original problem.

[redacted] So at no point and time did I say everything was fine and I was happy

5) Bullying...........if telling the truth and complaining about terrible tech service as well as even worse "Customer Service" is bullying, than I am guilty as charged.

[redacted] I only wish I would have taped each of the phone calls with the manager who very much tried to intimidate me and bully me, which I am sure he thought I would just go away if he treated me like that.  Which is surprising in itself that a company that deals with customers and complaints like this is even in business.

Please let me know if I have not addressed any questions or issues in this reply to the response from Grace Plumbing.  Again this is far and away the worst customer service I have ever had from a company in response to a service call

I look forward to hearing from you and how we will proceed vs Grace Plumbing with this complaint
