Dear Revdex.com: We have been in contact with Mrs& Mr. *** over the past several weeks. We have replaced the computerized board at no cost. This matter has been resolved. Thank you. *** ***

Dear Revdex.com: We will contact the customer and make an attempt to correct their misunderstanding about the maintenance required on their water treatment system. It should be noted here that the customer had a yearly service on their water treatment system in November of 2015. At the
time the charge was $233. There is a $Labor fee and two filters in the drinking system were changed at a cost of $per filter. Thank you

Dear Revdex.com: We are sending the $Dinner Coupon to the customer by US Mail tomorrow, 7/22/16. We apologize for the inconvenience. It was an oversight on our part. Thank you

Dear Revdex.com & Mr***: We would be happy to supply the names of the list companies from whom we purchase our mailing lists. We do not want those company names available on this platform. We are however willing to do it on a privately so that you may deal with them as you wish. Email would probably be the best way. Please provide the email address you wish to have this information sent to you

Dear Revdex.com: We respect the opinion of Mr*** concerning our marketing program. It is never our intention to mislead. Our intention is simply to grab the attention of qualified homeowners in the massive pile of mail that is received each day. Our only intention is to educate homeowners about water quality and how raw water affects water using appliances and household plumbing. How taste is affected by chlorine and other additives in public water supplies. We offer gift cards for time spent with us, regardless whether a water treatment system is purchased or not. We are fair in our marketing practices. The piece is simply an attention grabber--nothing more. Thank you

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[If this company was not trying to deceive us: their company name would not be abbreviated, 2) the content would not be misleading, 3) their products/services would be prominently spelled out to communicate proudly and clearly to any potential customer. And, therefore, the disclaimer, stating "Not a utility" would not be necessary. Many well known and not-so-well-known companies engage in mailings advertising their products and/or services. Typically, their company name is prominently displayed, as is their service or products. Sunsetter comes to mind, but also local companies. Any good advertising company will take their strong points and assemble a nice ad. This company's practices are misleading and deceitful and it doesn't take a college graduate to see that.]

Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. The business does not acknowledge the deception in their mode of advertising and has not indicated that they will change their behavior. This is not an acceptable response. The advertising is designed to be deceptive and has continued despite other complaints over the course of years. I would not want any less wary consumers to be duped by such a disreputable scheme.

Revdex.com:
For this business to say that they do not target age groups is a lie. There are pages and pages of complaints about the scare tatics of their postcards, and with that, many senior citizens, as myself feel that we are being targeted. I think it only fair for them to disclose the companies which gave them my information, if indeed this is not a target for seniors, and would like my and my wife's name off of their any any other company that they sell my personal information to. If any other postcard is sent to this address I will report it to the Office on Aging as well. I will be waiting for the names of the "companies" that give them my personal information.Sincerely,[redacted]

Dear Mrs. [redacted] and Revdex.com:  We would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused by our direct mail postcard.  It is never our intention to cause concern, but simply to get the attention of the recipients.  It clearly states on the mail piece that we are not affiliated with any...

utility company.

Dear Revdex.com:  Attached is a copy of the letter we are sending to Mrs. [redacted].  We have talked with her by phone and are awaiting her response.  We will advise you when the matter is settled.  Thank you.  [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I would like your company to cease using deceptive mailings (and YOU KNOW THEY ARE DECEPTIVE) to "introduce" your product.  If your product is good, people will use it.  If you have to deceive, likely it isn't worth using.
Regards,

We did receive notice of the desire to cancel the contract both my email through our website and phone message.  The customer was contacted by the sales department and the matter has been resolved.  Thank you.

Regarding the above mentioned complaint, this customer has contacted us repeatedly regarding his order. We have reviewed the calls several times and found that we shipped exactly what he ordered. He had originally called wanting another order, but refused to pay shipping so the agent gave him a...

package that included free shipping. He agreed to everything. I did just speak to him and let him know I was refunded $119.98 for 2 of his 4 orders.   Based on his purchase and claims history, and our concern for his satisfaction, we do recommend that he locate a new gourmet food supplier.   Please let me know if you need anything else.   Sincerely,   Jamie [redacted] Consumer Services Manager Omaha Steaks Address: [redacted] | Omaha, NE 68137 Phone:  ###-###-#### E-mail:  [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com:  It is never our intention to inconvenience potential customers with our marketing programs.  In this fast-paced world, especially in our part of the US, it is next to impossible to reach families by telephone and most families are so busy that they will not take the time to...

respond to a direct mail piece.  We are in the business of providing clean water, free from chlorine and other chemicals and pharmaceuticals found in our municipal and well water supplies. We are simply attempting to make contact so that we can introduce our product line.  The average person is not aware of the poor quality of drinking water whether it is from a well or city water.  Our goal is to help families to have the best water possible in their homes.  Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because:There was four packages ordered two were refunded and one was corrected leaving one unresolved.

Dear Revdex.com:  As we have stated previously, our marketing efforts are not intended to deceive--encourage consumers to respond so that we can introduce our products.  When consumers respond, we offer free gifts for their time and effort.  We also provide valuable information concerning...

drinking water in our area.  We do apologize to those who perceive this marketing tool as negative.  Our only intention is to motivate homeowners to respond, ask questions and become educated about water quality and its effects.  Thank you.

Dear Revdex.com: We did stop this marketing program for a short time in 2014, however, the mailings were not held up in the USPS, but in our mailing house that mails the postcards in increments.  After analyzing our stats, it has become clear that many families (over 1,000 in 2015 alone) have...

become satisfied happy customers, who are enjoying chlorine and chemical free drinking water.  Yes, it is a blind marketing program, however, families that respond to our request receive an in depth education on water quality for both well and municipal water supplies.  They also receive a $25 Home Depot gift card for their time. If they do purchase our water treatment products, they are resting assured that they are drinking, cooking and showering with the highest quality water in the water treatment industry.  We understand that not everyone will have a positive response to our marketing program, and for that we do apologize for any inconvenience.  Thank you.
