Greater Pitt Tree Service shocked me with their trained employees, the high tech machines and their All Pro service...and the clean up was amazing! Not worried about that huge tree anymore. Thanks guys...

They removed a dozen trees from the hillside behind my house. They were very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend Greater Pitt Tree Service.

We contacted greater pitt tree service to remove six trees, which had out grown our property. They were on time with the equipment to do the job. When done they made every effort to clean up..Everyone was great to deal with; the crew was amazing. I would highly recommend their service and I know we will be using them again.

We contacted them to remove a large tree in our back yard, our phone call was returned right away and someone was here to give an estimate next day... They did an awesome job, very professional and cleaned up and ledt my yard nice and neat!

My experience with Greater Pittsburgh Tree Service was nothing but positive. Carlos was most responsive to any of my emails and texts. And, the team were experts at removing a very large, damaged tree from a very tight spot. The got the entire tree remove and yard cleaned in less than five hours. Would use them again, anytime!

that I would have my TRIM crew return this summer When that didn't happen, I had to postpone her job in hopes of hiring painters that could do TRIM such as windows that require more skill than my new College hires were capable of doingI was unable to find College workers to do that level of work so her job went undone I will gladly paint her house next year if I have qualified workers to do her jobI don't want to do a poor job for a customer Thanks, *** ***

I used Greater Pitt Tree service for multiple large trees in my front yard. They were very professional and safe. I had a few small shrubs and an old rose bush they also removed from me just because, I asked. There were several employees on the job and each one of them were respectful and hard at work. I would recommend them for your next tree removal

I contacted Greater Pitt Tree Service about a few large locusts hovering over my house. They were able to take them all down to ground level.
I've never seen a crew more professional or talented. All employees and owner are very nice and helpful.
Greater Pitt Tree Service even went way above and beyond by totally clearing out a large football field space in an open lot just to make it look neat.
There's no other company in Allegheny County that would do all of the extra work for nothing.

August 9th 2016 we had Greater Pitt Tree Services come out to our home to remove trees that were directly over our deck and home. Because the back of our house sits on top of a hill side and the trees were directly at the top of the hill we had to have a crane brought in. We were apprehensive and worried. This company showed up exactly on time with several trucks and a crew of the nicest guys in the world. They worked harder than we have ever seen anyone work and they were amazing...The tree climber who was harnessed in the trees just swung through the air flawlessly. The man who worked the crane was like a surgeon who meticulously and carefully attached and removed each branch as if it was a part of his own body...The crew on the ground never stopped for a moment and they were like an orchestra all playing their role in unison. They left our property clean from all debris. There was NOT ONE incident of damage. They went above and beyond for us and they have earned five stars in our book...Wonderful experience and we will use them again!!

We had Greater Pitt Tree Service remove four trees and trim three other trees in November 2015 on two consecutive days. All of their work was efficiently done and met our needs exactly. The workers are highly skilled. They cleaned up felled branches and at our request they cleared branches around electric wires near house. Their price was reasonable.

Greater Pitt Tree Service removed one large cherry tree, along with many smaller sumac, and weed trees. They arrived when scheduled, were friendly, professional, and answered all my questions. They were also courteous to my neighbors in terms of traffic flow on the street, and being aware of personal property of mine and my neighbors. I would recommend them for your tree removal needs.

More importantly, the positive externality involved with Greater Pitt Tree Service is worth noting: [redacted] and his crew were extremely professional, courteous and performed many ardous tasks. As a former employee of [redacted], I observed and insured similiar services. While watching Greater Pitt Tree Service operate on my neighbor's property, I immediately contracted them to work on my property. First class all of the way.

I contacted them to cut a locust tree down in my yard. The man came but went to the neighbors house (male neighbor) by accident. He quoted my neighbor a price of $4200. However, when the neighbor directed him to my house (I am female) , he quoted me a price of $4500.

I had other quotes from Revdex.com accredited companies who were over $2500 less than this company. [redacted] when I told him about the other quotes being more than 1/2 the price he tried to tell me they probably weren't insured.

I wouldn't trust or use this company!

My first contact with Greater Pitt Tree Service was last May, 2014. [redacted] returned my call on the same day that I left the message, came out to provide me with a free estimate of the services that I requested and offered excellent advice. He was ready to begin the requested tree and stump removal and clean up of the back yard and even gave a start date as soon as I gave him the "go ahead". I was greatly impressed with his estimate, his professionalism, his kindness as he related to my huge project. To my misfortune, I went with another tree service because he was an acquaintance of my daughter. I should have gone with my first impression of Gtr. Pitt Tree Svc. Two weeks ago, I contacted [redacted] again, asked him to please come back, FIX the mess that was left by Josh's Tree Service. He came out immediately, again provided me with an impressionable estimate, showed mercy on the fact that I had paid for other services last year that were never completed. [redacted] and his crew are extremely professional, offer the advertised discounts, trustworthy, friendly, completed the proposed services and clean-up immediately. Most of all, I appreciate [redacted] for "caring" that I could not have done any of the mess in my back yard by myself. I highly recommend [redacted], his crew, and the Greater Pitt Tree Service to anyone who would appreciate an "Old fashioned Home Town, Local, Small Business". Review: Greater Pitt Tree Service was to come and cut down 5 trees during the week. They decided on their own not to show up during the week and come on a Saturday which is a very busy day here. They left a mess which I talked to the owner about and he said he would send his truck back to do the clean up and never heard from him again.Desired Settlement: I would like a 100.00 refund so I can pay someone to finish the job he started.

I made an appointment with Greater Pitt Tree Service. The man never showed up for the appointment and never returned my many phone calls. Who does that ?????
